The food was incredibly delicious and beautifully presented. I'll definitely be back! The food is highly recommended; I haven't had such delicious sushi in a long time :-)! We'd love to come back ☺️

A very small restaurant with about 20 seats inside. So everything is a bit tighter... But the food is delicious and tastes good. You only get lost here if you know where you want to go, as it is hidden in an office district. The meal is the Udoni (U14) with breaded chicken breast for 14 euros.

This is supposed to be the most beautiful restaurant in Germany? Apart from a beautifully designed wall, we didn't see anything special, it's just a snack bar. Service was friendly, the food tasted pretty good too.

We were there for lunch today. It was quite crowded and the noise level was very high, so you had to speak in a loud voice to even have a conversation. The food came after about 30 minutes, but unfortunately one dish was missing. Since we have almost used up our lunch break, I decided not to order more. When I told the waitress that I would have liked to have all the dishes, there was no apology. Instead I was told that I should have reported this... my mistake...

Really delicious food, every bite was a pleasure and the vegetarian (or even vegan) bento box was just amazing! The miso soup as a starter was incredibly good, with tofu, wakame and sesame, really nice umami. The fried Inside Out Sushi was crispy on the outside and crunchy on the inside because of the vegetables and the rice was perfectly sticky - everything was just right here! We will definitely come back. The only “negative” thing was the noise at lunchtime, but the restaurant can’t do anything about that, it was just the lunch rush.

I can only judge the delivery. Waiting time around 1 ½ hours. The food was cold and tasted like almost nothing. The driver didn't have any change. It doesn't work that way.

At the beginning I was very skeptical about the food but I have to say that the food was really very good, especially the ebi frys with sweet and sour were awesome!!! Udon noodles were also very good and didn't feel heavy in the stomach. The restaurant including toilets were very hygienic and clean. I would love to go there again and again.

I didn't have much time, but they hurried up and when I had to leave before I was finished they packed up the leftovers for me. Really very nice service and very tasty food!

Ramen and udon are all miso-based. The ingredients and vegetables on top... It's a bit different from the ramen I've had before. Ramen with cauliflower and paprika. It's worth eating considering it's Japanese food reinterpreted in Vietnamese and Thai styles.

Food was ok, not the best but it's okay. Staff was extremely rude and very aggressive… we wanted to pay by card first, my debit card, which I have had for years and works everywhere, didn't work there. They said that I need a debit card and I said that this is an debit card, but if it doesn't work I can also pay in cash. Nevertheless, two waitresses were frustrated and they started yelling at me that I needed a “German card”??? I showed my card, it was a card from the German bank (but I didn't have to and I had already prepared a cash???) and we were the only ones in the store (no wonder) and the staff talked very loudly the whole time that we were couldn't hear. We found it a bit disrespectful but in the end what was at the checkout was the cherry on the cake 😅 My edit after the restaurant answered me: first of all, we had a half-full bottle of water with us and there were 4 of us, it was absolutely clear that as 4 of us we couldn't drink this bottle 😂 we also ordered 2 beers, just at When we ordered our food, we said we would like to think about a drink first. We had absolutely no intention or idea of ​​drinking this half-full bottle as 4 people (one of us has diabetes, so she has to drink water often and since we were walking around the city as tourists, she simply had the bottle in her hand ) Anyway, we didn't have a glass with us, it's quite conspicuous to think that four people can drink from one bottle, no matter... Ordered via Lieferando: Sushi was tasty, but the soup was disappointing. As for the noodles: hardly any vegetables at all, tofu was missing, even though it was supposed to be there according to Lieferando. For 12 euros a pretty expensive broth with noodles.

Without a question the most peaceful and loving sushi restaurant i have ever been to. Food is made with care and high adaptability if requested. Quality is the best you can ever expect. Downside is that the restaurant is not opened during sundays and it could do with more food options. But since 2022 i have been going here every week for a bite of delicious sushi as a student. Highly recommended :)

We went to their restraints on 3 different occasions that we visiting Darmstadt in reh same month!! They had us hooked. The food is great, the price is justified and the portions are also fantastic . Some of our favourites were the vegetarian poke that was topped with sweetened shreds of tofu and the seetang salad with avocado. The service could be better, however it did not effect the quality of the experience much. Would recommend to everyone looking for good Japanese in the area. A vegetarian dish is average 10 euro and a not vegetarian one is about 12-15 euro.

Ambiance: The restaurant is clean and beautifully designed. 👍👍👍👍👍 Deduction: 1x⭐️The single table at the back on the left is just not nice right at the entrance to the toilet including the very long hanging plant. Food was really great, nice and fresh and lots of choice. Unfortunately the service was extremely inattentive and very slow and we had to come to the front several times to even be noticed. The windows were also full of cobwebs and there were some in the restaurant too. It's not a big problem for me, it's just not nice to see. Price-wise also a bit expensive.

The food was really delicious and fresh (we had udon with yakitori, my friend had udon soup with chicken and sushi) and was offered for a really good price. I thought €12 was very fair for the noodles. With a drink, both main courses and a sushi plate that we shared, we came out with €19 per person. The ambience was also good, we were there on a Saturday and there wasn't much going on, so it was quiet and there was music playing at a pleasant volume in the background. The furnishings are nice and harmonious. The restaurant is also located in a quiet part of Darmstadt, less than 10 minutes on foot from the main train station. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Very tasty sushi, always nicely prepared. I like the ambience, except for the boxes and junk standing around, it looks more like an unpacked kiosk at the counter. And unfortunately the fixed benches at the tables are too low for tall people. Back pain guaranteed... It's nice to sit outside on wooden benches.

The sushi is super tasty, only the fried noodles weren't particularly exceptional. the ambience is very tasteful, you feel very comfortable. Sieht unscheinbar aus, ist aber eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung! Sehr frische Zutaten, leicht und fein im Geschmack. Die Optik der Teller ist auf das Gericht fokussiert, ohne viel Schnickschnack. Bei der nächsten Dienstreise werde ich hier definitiv wieder Gast sein. ☺️

Ein sehr schlichtes, aber schickes Restaurant. Sehr gutes Essen und toller Service. Gerade das Sushi war sehr lecker und toll angerichtet. Hatte es lange nicht auf den Zettel, da es etwas abgelegen vom Zentrum liegt. Es ist aber auf jeden Fall mal einen Besuch wert.

Über 20 Minuten gewartet um überhaupt bedient zu werden. Nach weiteren 15 Minuten sind noch keine Getränke da. Wir reden hier von einer Fanta und einem Eistee. Beides aus der Flasche. Etwas sehr chaotisch der Service und völlig überfordert.

Super leckeres Essen für einen fairen Preis. Das Lokal war zudem noch sauber und die Kellner haben auch einen positiven Eindruck hinterlassen. Die Tempura Romls waren die besten die ich je gegessen habe!

Die Qualität hat leider abgenommen. Die Ramen Suppen zum Mitnehmen bestanden nur noch fast ausschließlich aus Nudeln und Fleisch. Nie war es weniger Gemüse als dieses Mal, auch kein Ei dabei. Zum anderen haben die Mitarbeiter vergessen, die Brühen beizufügen, die wir extra abholen mussten. Es wäre nett, wenn das Restaurant eine kleine Entschädigung machen würde, aber das haben sie nicht getan und die Laune nach einem anstrengenden Arbeitstag endgültig versaut. An sich hat die Suppe gut geschmeckt. Wir werden hier nur noch im Restaurant essen und kein Essen nach Hause bestellen.

Ich habe das Restaurant vor kurzem durch Zufall entdeckt, als ich vom Hauptbahnhof nach Hause gelaufen bin und es ist mein Lieblingsrestaurant in Darmstadt geworden. Sehr freundlich, schön eingerichtet, sehr gemütlich, sehr gepflegt, man kann aussen sitzen, und die Gerichte, die ich bis jetzt ausprobiert habe, schmeckten mir alle ausgezeichnet. Ja, es ist nicht direkt in der Innenstadt, aber ich sehe das als Vorteil. Das Europaviertel ist sehr gepflegt und sauber, hier fühle ich mich sehr wohl. (Und hey, Darmstadt ist nicht groß, da ist alles auch zu Fuß sehr nah) Ich laufe gerne zu Mittag von der Innenstadt zum Shokudo. Ich liebe es, hier zu essen, im Freien zu sitzen, die Ruhe und das Essen zu genießen. :-) Definitiv immer einen Besuch wert!!

Das Sushi war okay. Vielleicht hatten wir einfach pech, aber der Reis war matschig und der Fisch hat nicht mehr ganz so frisch geschmeckt. Aber die Lieferung kam pünktlich.

Ich habe mir das Essen liefern lassen. Die gebratenen Nudeln für ZEHN Euro sind schon unverschämt. Kaum Würze, ein paar fertig Röstzwiebeln, zwei streifen Kohl und fünf Streifen Karotten. Sehen aus wie fertig Nudeln, die man mit dem Wasserkocher Zubereitet. Da bestell ich nie wieder! Foto kann ich aus unerfindlichen Gründen nicht anhängen...

Zufällig durch einen Arztbesuch entdeckt aber mein neues Lieblingsrestaurant geworden. Unglaublich leckere Sushi und Udonnudeln hier. Die Inneneinrichtung ist super gemütlich. Das Personal ist sehr nett. Ich komme gern wieder.

Restaurant mit gemütlicher Atmosphäre. Das Essen war o.k., die vorgegebenen Sushi Menüs waren alle nicht nach meinem Geschmack. Der Service nur mäßig. Es brauchte schon eine Aufforderung an die Bedienung, mal den Tisch abzuräumen, als wir alle schon lange fertig mit dem Essen waren und nur noch was getrunken haben. Mir persönlich gefällt das Okinawa in Bensheim besser.

Leider einfach dreist. Wir haben bestellt und die Lieferzeit wurde mit 35-50 Minuten angegeben. Nach 2 Stunden ist immer noch kein Essen da. Nach Rückfrage im Restaurant heißt es, dass es einen Stau gebe. Laut Google Maps gibt es auf dem 10 minütigen Weg keinen „Stau“. Wenn man Hunger hat sollte man dort nicht bestellen

Seid dem die Türkin nicht mehr arbeitet, komme ich nicht mehr zu euch. Sie war die beste Bedingung und so ein nettes, liebes Mädchen.

Kleiner süßer Laden mit schönem ruhigen Ambiente. Sushi war schön frisch und vorallem die Crunchy Roll sehr lecker. Rindfleisch mit Reis war ganz lecker jedoch ziemlich klein von der Portion. Bedienung war freundlich und Essen war auch sehr schnell am Tisch. Preislich etwas teurer aber eine gute Alternative in Darmstadt Sushi zu essen.

Nettes kleines Restaurant. Meine Frau und ich waren sehr zufrieden. Sushi und Ramen sind sehr lecker. Die Nudeln waren etwas weich aber das ändert für mich nichts am guten Geschmack. Ich habe mir ein paar der vorigen Rezensionen durchgelesen und kann die schlechten nicht bestätigen. Wir waren gegen 17 Uhr im Restaurant- also nicht zu den Stoßzeiten. Wir haben bestellt und gefühlte Sekunden später, kam dann auch schon das Essen. Als es voller wurde, hatte ich aber nicht den Eindruck, dass es bei den anderen Gästen dann viel länger gedauert hat. Wenn ich das Sushi mit anderen (teilweise mit Preisen ausgezeichneten) Restaurants vergleiche, kann ich sagen, dass es für geschmacklich ausgezeichnet war. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Als wir bezahlen wollten, hat es etwas gedauert, bis sie uns dann wahrgenommen hat. Das Shokudo ist ein kleines Restaurant. Es war 1ne Bedienung zugegen und zwei Personen standen in der Küche. Bei dieser Größe muss man damit rechnen, dass es auch mal längern dauern kann und sollte nicht davon ausgehen, dass der Service einem 5 Sterne Restaurant gleicht. Alles in allem würden wir auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Am Samstag Mittag dort gewesen. Extrem unfreundliche Bedingung und sehr langsame Zubereitung. 45 min Wartezeit ist viel. Zum mal andere Gäste die nach uns kamen schon ihr Essen bekamen.

Schönstes Restaurant Deutschlands, ich kann absolut nicht nachvollziehen, wie es zu so einer Bewertung kommt. Das fängt schon mal schlecht an, wenn der Tisch schmutzig ist. Wir waren zu fünft, alle bestellten Sushi, ich Reis mit gebratenem Gemüse und Hähnchen. Das Essen kam schnell, ohne Besteck, ohne Servietten, danach musste ich erst fragen, dauerte dann aber noch, weil erst noch andere Dinge erledigt wurden. Eine Tasse Reis, 2 Broccoliröschen 1 Stück Blumenkohl, ein paar Scheiben Karotten etwas Soße, für 12€. Vom eh schon spärlichen Fleisch waren 2 Bröckchen genießbar, der Rest fettig, glitschig, ecklig. Abgeräumt wurde nur wenn wir unser Geschirr auf den Nachbartisch stellten. Beim bezahlen gab ich ihr mein Geld, sie wollte die nächste abkassieren. Sorry, aber ich bekomme noch Geld zurück. Wenn das Essen schlecht ist, gebe ich kein Trinkgeld. Ging sie gar nicht darauf ein, ich glaube sie verstand es nicht mal. Sorry aber das ist doch kein Service. Ich bin noch nie so unzufrieden und hungrig aus einem Restaurant gegangen. Nie wieder!!!!

Etwas enttäuschend. Das Essen war nicht schlecht, aber etwas unterwürzt. Von den bestellten Sachen waren 3 Gerichte zu viel (kann passieren) oder falsch, zB wurde mit Hähnchenfleisch bestellt, jedoch kam Ente. Auf Nachfrage wurde erklärt, dass der Laden keine Ente führt- obwohl 4 unterschiedliche Leute probiert und bestätigt haben, dass es Ente ist. Das bestellte Getränk wurde nie geliefert. An sich hat das Restaurant aber bestimmt Potential

Das Shokudo ist gelungen eingerichtet und wirkt trotz der kleinen Räumlichkeiten hell und freundlich. Das Restaurant ist allerdings auch sehr hellhörig und dadurch relativ laut, wenn es gut besucht ist. Details wie Fließen in Fischschuppenoptik unterstreichen das asiatisch anmutende Ambiente. Mir erschließt sich dennoch nicht gänzlich, weshalb das Shokudo zum schönsten Restaurant Deutschlands ernannt wurde, aber das ist nebensächlich, denn die Qualität des Sushis ist gut. Auch die Nudelgerichte und Vorspeisen schmecken fein. Preislich sind die Gerichte absolut in Ordnung. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Ich war sehr gespannt auf dieses Restaurant und bin ein wenig enttäuscht. Das Interieur ist schlicht und passend zum Konzept. Preiswürdig ist es jedoch nach meiner Ansicht nicht. Die Bedienung war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Mein Essen hat mich weder qualitativ noch geschmacklich überzeugt - optisch war es in Ordnung. Alles in allem leider nur eine durchschnittliche Erfahrung.
