Highly recommended. Friendly staff, large selection of food.

Good parking, clean. Unfortunately, the ambiance is very dated. As a younger person, you feel like you're in a retirement home. The price/performance ratio is not right. The steak was cooked to death despite being medium, a side dish of greens was missing, and that for 30 euros. The competition is much better. I think the main clientele here is 80+. Without a contemporary orientation/redesign of the restaurant, it will be of no interest to the younger/coming generation.

We love coming to Bölle. The food is always delicious and the service is very attentive. I particularly like the seasonally changing menus.

Absolutely not recommended! The worst meal in a long time. The frozen schnitzel and fried potatoes came from the deep fryer. Everything tasted of the same fat. For that price, you should at least get a fresh schnitzel, from the pan, of course. The salad came from a bag, pre-chopped, and simply topped with a ready-made dressing. That was the first and last time we went there.

I haven't been to Bölle in years. I wasn't as satisfied last time. This time, I went there for a birthday dinner. The waiters congratulated the birthday boy and were generally quick and courteous with their service. The food was beautifully presented, the portions were generous, and the value for money was really good. I was very satisfied with everything this time. I was pleased to be pleasantly surprised. I'd be happy to come again.

The three of us spontaneously went for a delicious meal! We didn't have a reservation and, in the beautiful weather, got a great table outside. The welcome was very friendly, as was the service. We had bruschetta for starters, which was very fresh and delicious. For the main course, we had a meatloaf with fresh onions, a fried egg, and fried potatoes. A cooked cheese schnitzel (the cooked cheese is served separately in a small bowl) also with fried potatoes, and an Allgäu schnitzel with cheese spaetzle and mushroom ragout. Everything was delicious 😋 The price/performance ratio is excellent here! Freshness and quality are guaranteed here. We'll be back 👍🏻

Very good value for money and a good selection of regional and seasonal cuisine. We enjoyed a culinary Sylt meal today. The lamb was very tender and delicious. The fish dishes were also very good. The side salad was fresh and crisp with a spicy dressing. Despite the full house, the service was fast and friendly. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating.

Disappointing quality at completely overpriced prices. The food was greasy, and the potatoes and Frankfurt green sauce were ready-made from a packet. The schnitzel was greasy, tasteless, and came from a deep fryer. The lamb was overcooked, and the salad wasn't cleaned properly—wilted leaves and carelessly prepared. We highly recommend staying away! Beware of rip-offs.

Bölle is a new discovery for us in Darmstadt. Despite the crowds, the waiters and owner were attentive and very friendly. The food was delicious, and we had a lovely outdoor seating area. The menu and daily specials are diverse and varied. We'll definitely be back.

Great German food with excekyand friendly service.

On Sunday, June 22, 2025, we celebrated my 85th birthday with our 20 guests in the cozy restaurant garden. The preliminary discussions, organization, and execution were so individual and personal that everyone was full of praise. I am thrilled with this unexpected location and recommend it to individuals and groups alike. After their first visit, they will definitely return, just like us.

A very nice restaurant with super attentive service. The cooked cheese schnitzel is highly recommended, and dessert was a must. There's a large selection of delicious sweets. I highly recommend the "Bölle."

Suitable place to eat or drink coffee outside in the restaurant's garden on a sunny day. We ate green sauce and asparagus to suit the season. The green sauce tasted great, the asparagus had a slightly sour seasoning, which I personally didn't like, but you can't argue with taste... The price-performance ratio was good, we would definitely go there again. We would like to thank the nice lady who served us: very attentive, friendly and quick!

The food was A1 but the ordering simply took too long. Of course there was a lot going on, but I don't think you should keep the hungry waiting so long. There are other ways to get around this. The service was super friendly.

Five of us ate here today at 4 p.m., we were greeted very friendly. The atmosphere is very cozy. The food was very tasty and plentiful. We think it's really good value for money. We had schnitzel and meatloaf, and three types of bruschetta as a starter. We can definitely recommend it. What we also found particularly great was the dessert selection... very well done and something for everyone. We'd love to come back Thank you.

Unfortunately, reservations made on site will not be honored. The whole process was more than embarrassing. Everyone should check for themselves whether the price-performance ratio is right.

We were there with a group, the service could have been a little better, but I think there was a lack of staff. The food came quickly and was good. Parking spaces at the house!!

The two of us ate at the Bölle restaurant on March 25, 2025, the table was previously reserved online. We were warmly welcomed into the restaurant and shown the table. The restaurant is attractive inside and has a great ambience and is very bright. Despite the high volume of guests, the order was taken, prepared and brought to the table very quickly. The dishes were hot, the salad was fresh and the dishes were beautifully presented. There was absolutely nothing to complain about in terms of taste. For dessert there was vanilla ice cream with hot raspberries (I put some of the raspberries on the ice cream for the photo). Both were served separately (as shown in the picture below), the ice cream was from Langnese (mentioned on the menu!) and the raspberries were hot. The bill amounted to just under €65 for 2 main courses, 2 drinks and 2 desserts, which I thought was very good value for money! Another visit to Restaurant Bölle is definitely not out of the question for me.

The waiter was very unfriendly and didn't seem to want to serve us. We could only order more drinks if he came to another table. He never checked on us or asked if we wanted anything else.

Great food, friendly service and good value for money

Had a very tasty schnitzel with cooked cheese and homemade fries. An ice cream presso for dessert, also very delicious! The waiter was very friendly and the atmosphere is very pleasant, despite the large street right in front of the door!

We have been here several times over the last few years. Yesterday the food was once again really very good. Fried potatoes were really tasty, you could see that a lot of time had been taken to prepare them. The innkeeper came by personally and congratulated the birthday child. The child was given their own menu to color in. Recommended!

Good restaurant, prices ok. What I can't understand is that dogs are forbidden there. I don't know that about restaurants like this. Luckily, my dog ​​is very welcome in other good restaurants. This means that I no longer go there, but rather somewhere else, because I often travel with my dog.

Had dinner there with the family. Everything worked out great. There was some confusion with the reservation but it was just because of the new system. The food came quite quickly and so did the drinks. In between we had a bit of difficulty ordering another round of drinks. That could still be expanded somewhat. To make up for the lost table reservation, there was a small dessert in between. The dessert came very quickly and was also very tasty. All in all a nice evening. The prices here are also reasonable.

I was there for our Christmas party and the food was delicious. Unfortunately we only had a special menu for groups that didn't have something for everyone and the waiter strictly refused to give us the regular menu. That's a point deduction because it was possible in 2023. But the quality of the food is great and the price-performance ratio is right. 👍

Großer Parkplatz, Waldrandlage, sehr bunte Lichterdeko draußen. Kleinere Weihnachtskarte an den Feiertagen ist ok, wenn auch überraschend. Ordentliche Tische mit weißen Decken, weihnachtlicher Deko, gemütlicher erster Eindruck. Wir saßen noch nicht, als die Bedienung schon die Getränke aufnehmen wollte. Eine Getränkekarte gab es nicht, Preise daher bei Bestellung unbekannt. Bei den Fleischgerichten keinerlei Salat/Gemüse dabei, das muß man extra bestellen und verteuert die Gerichte dann in die gehobene Preisklasse. Bei entsprechender Qualität wäre das aber noch ok. Das Essen für den gesamten Tisch kam gleichzeitig nach knapp 10 Minuten. Zügig ist ok, aber in der Kürze kann nichts auch nur ansatzweise frisch gemacht sein, nur aufgewärmt. Tw. nicht sehr üppige Portionen. Mein Gericht: Tütenspätzle lauwarm. Totgebratenes Schweinefilet, das durchs Erwärmen noch trockener wurde. Dicke Fertigsauce mit leichtem Lebkuchengeschmack, viel zu wenig für das trockene Fleisch und die Beilage und auch nicht heiß. Mochte nicht aufessen, hungrig geblieben. Auf Kaffee und Dessert haben wir alle verzichtet und waren nach einer Stunde wieder draußen. Nix mit gemütlichem Weihnachtsessen. Schade.

It's been a long time since we had our meeting with our "old" colleagues, in the run-up to Christmas, in the Bölle restaurant. My "goose plate" consisting of goose breast, goose leg and goose liver was super tasty and very tender! The service was friendly and had a smile on their faces. The price/performance ratio was good. Today I decided on Bölle-Schnitzel with fried potatoes, the schnitzel tasted too much like the breading for my taste and the potatoes were partly flaky. There was enough parking space and the service was really good. The ambience was also good (especially if you remember what kind of dive bar it used to be.

We've wanted to go to Restaurant Bölle again for a long time. Unfortunately we only came to try to make a reservation. I called there personally and was approached in such an unfriendly manner by the boss himself: "We should make a reservation online. I've never experienced anything like that. We will never eat there again. It seems that the restaurant no longer wants any new guests because they are so overloaded. That's why there's no place for us anymore.

I didn't eat here, so no review for the food or ambience. In front of me was a group of guests who were seated in the winter garden. Like me, you didn't have a reservation. The waiter had no more space for me, even though there were still about 10 seats available in the winter garden. But he offered outside at around 14°C. I'll rate it accordingly.

A nice restaurant by the forest. This was our fourth time here. Service is very friendly. Food very tasty. Small playground for children. You can then digest the food with a walk in the forest and the children can have a lot of fun again. It was a great day.

Instead of contacting the guest who gives a 3 star review (me) and describes an unpleasant situation on site, two years after writing the review you are accused of defamation and the operator asks Google to delete the review. Customer loyalty, self-reflection and self-improvement are different. My assessment at the time apart from the text: Food 4, service 3, ambience 4. Overall 3. It's a shame how guests are treated far afterwards. In the future, I will no longer recommend your establishment if someone asks me where to eat in Darmstadt.

A nice, older restaurant with nice staff and good food. Small deductions however: The non-alcoholic drinks include items from Sinalco, which unfortunately we don't like at all. - What we really disliked was that our request to get a minced steak instead of fried potatoes with salad was added to the bill with an extra 1.50. At a price of over 15 euros (then over 17) we feel it is unjustified and we are not used to that from other restaurants.

Were there in the afternoon. At first the service was okay, but this died down as it got busier and after we had the main course. The apple strudel was very tasty, the Bruscetra Trio... Three pieces of baguette for €8. A lame pizza that wasn't worth the €11, I've had better ones from the freezer. We had to ask 3 service staff until we could pay and that took about 20 minutes. When she got there, we were yelled at that we hadn't informed us that we wanted to pay by card.
