We didn't eat in this restaurant because the service on the phone was so unfriendly that you didn't feel like eating there.

Super tasty 😋 and everything is always beautifully decorated.

We have been here several times over the last few years. Yesterday the food was once again really very good. Fried potatoes were really tasty, you could see that a lot of time had been taken to prepare them. The innkeeper came by personally and congratulated the birthday child. The child was given their own menu to color in. Recommended!

The service is very friendly, but unfortunately that's all. The food is very bad, probably frozen. We ordered stick, venison goulash, fish and potato pancakes. Everything is a complete disaster... Not recommended!

Good restaurant, prices ok. What I can't understand is that dogs are forbidden there. I don't know that about restaurants like this. Luckily, my dog ​​is very welcome in other good restaurants. This means that I no longer go there, but rather somewhere else, because I often travel with my dog.

Was a nice visit. With very nice service and very tasty food.

Had dinner there with the family. Everything worked out great. There was some confusion with the reservation but it was just because of the new system. The food came quite quickly and so did the drinks. In between we had a bit of difficulty ordering another round of drinks. That could still be expanded somewhat. To make up for the lost table reservation, there was a small dessert in between. The dessert came very quickly and was also very tasty. All in all a nice evening. The prices here are also reasonable.

I was there for our Christmas party and the food was delicious. Unfortunately we only had a special menu for groups that didn't have something for everyone and the waiter strictly refused to give us the regular menu. That's a point deduction because it was possible in 2023. But the quality of the food is great and the price-performance ratio is right. 👍

Goose leg, red cabbage and dumplings were delicious again this year, the service was top notch and the boss kept an eye on everything.

Großer Parkplatz, Waldrandlage, sehr bunte Lichterdeko draußen. Kleinere Weihnachtskarte an den Feiertagen ist ok, wenn auch überraschend. Ordentliche Tische mit weißen Decken, weihnachtlicher Deko, gemütlicher erster Eindruck. Wir saßen noch nicht, als die Bedienung schon die Getränke aufnehmen wollte. Eine Getränkekarte gab es nicht, Preise daher bei Bestellung unbekannt. Bei den Fleischgerichten keinerlei Salat/Gemüse dabei, das muß man extra bestellen und verteuert die Gerichte dann in die gehobene Preisklasse. Bei entsprechender Qualität wäre das aber noch ok. Das Essen für den gesamten Tisch kam gleichzeitig nach knapp 10 Minuten. Zügig ist ok, aber in der Kürze kann nichts auch nur ansatzweise frisch gemacht sein, nur aufgewärmt. Tw. nicht sehr üppige Portionen. Mein Gericht: Tütenspätzle lauwarm. Totgebratenes Schweinefilet, das durchs Erwärmen noch trockener wurde. Dicke Fertigsauce mit leichtem Lebkuchengeschmack, viel zu wenig für das trockene Fleisch und die Beilage und auch nicht heiß. Mochte nicht aufessen, hungrig geblieben. Auf Kaffee und Dessert haben wir alle verzichtet und waren nach einer Stunde wieder draußen. Nix mit gemütlichem Weihnachtsessen. Schade.

Very nice staff and very tasty food. Despite the Christmas menu, we were also able to order pizza. That was great. Great praise: the restaurant can be accessed at ground level via the rear entrance for those with walking difficulties.

The three of us went there for lunch today on Christmas Day - spontaneously, without a reservation. There was a small, fine Christmas menu with a good selection of dishes: starters to dessert, salads, vegetarian, meat and fish dishes. It's been a long time since we had our meeting with our "old" colleagues, in the run-up to Christmas, in the Bölle restaurant. My "goose plate" consisting of goose breast, goose leg and goose liver was super tasty and very tender! The service was friendly and had a smile on their faces. The price/performance ratio was good. What more could you want! 👍

Today I decided on Bölle-Schnitzel with fried potatoes, the schnitzel tasted too much like the breading for my taste and the potatoes were partly flaky. There was enough parking space and the service was really good. The ambience was also good (especially if you remember what kind of dive bar it used to be.

We've wanted to go to Restaurant Bölle again for a long time. Unfortunately we only came to try to make a reservation. I called there personally and was approached in such an unfriendly manner by the boss himself: "We should make a reservation online. I've never experienced anything like that. We will never eat there again. It seems that the restaurant no longer wants any new guests because they are so overloaded. That's why there's no place for us anymore.

Pizza is definitely recommended, but the cake had a lot of room for improvement

I didn't eat here, so no review for the food or ambience. In front of me was a group of guests who were seated in the winter garden. Like me, you didn't have a reservation. The waiter had no more space for me, even though there were still about 10 seats available in the winter garden. But he offered outside at around 14°C. I'll rate it accordingly.

Good value for money, good German and Mediterranean cuisine, good service and attentiveness from the waiters. The terrace is also good in summer and always has enough space. We were here for the second time and will be back

A nice restaurant by the forest. This was our fourth time here. Service is very friendly. Food very tasty. Small playground for children. You can then digest the food with a walk in the forest and the children can have a lot of fun again. It was a great day.

We were there around 3 p.m., the lunchtime hype was over, there was space and very friendly service.

Instead of contacting the guest who gives a 3 star review (me) and describes an unpleasant situation on site, two years after writing the review you are accused of defamation and the operator asks Google to delete the review. Customer loyalty, self-reflection and self-improvement are different. My assessment at the time apart from the text: Food 4, service 3, ambience 4. Overall 3. It's a shame how guests are treated far afterwards. In the future, I will no longer recommend your establishment if someone asks me where to eat in Darmstadt.

Very nice evening, a nice table was reserved for us in the garden restaurant. The salad with a large piece of salmon and shrimp skewer was fresh and tasted very good. Service was very attentive even though it was extremely busy. We'd love to come back. Thanks to the team

A nice, older restaurant with nice staff and good food. Small deductions however: The non-alcoholic drinks include items from Sinalco, which unfortunately we don't like at all. - What we really disliked was that our request to get a minced steak instead of fried potatoes with salad was added to the bill with an extra 1.50. At a price of over 15 euros (then over 17) we feel it is unjustified and we are not used to that from other restaurants.

Were there in the afternoon. At first the service was okay, but this died down as it got busier and after we had the main course. The apple strudel was very tasty, the Bruscetra Trio... Three pieces of baguette for €8. A lame pizza that wasn't worth the €11, I've had better ones from the freezer. We had to ask 3 service staff until we could pay and that took about 20 minutes. When she got there, we were yelled at that we hadn't informed us that we wanted to pay by card.

Very warm and personal welcome and cozy and cozy outside. A great menu and all dishes were fresh, delicious and plentiful. Price and performance go together perfectly here! Nice beer garden, delicious home-style food, happy to repeat!

We came here after a walk in the forest with our dogs and fortified ourselves. For hygiene reasons, dogs are not allowed in the restaurant. Dogs are still welcome outside in the beer garden. A little tip: Dog owners should not sit directly at the entrance if there are still free tables off to the side. This makes it more relaxed for all dogs. If a dog cannot lie comfortably on gravel, it is best to bring a thicker blanket.

Been there at the beginning of July 2024. We found the food to be home-style and average, the prices themselves were higher than average. The restaurant itself is quite attractive.

If you like good home-style cooking, you'll get your money's worth here. The menu is not overloaded either. Freshness, spices and careful presentation. A real pleasure. Despite the good attendance, the waiting time was short. Only the ambience inside is a bit restless and noisy.

Was there for the first time for a colleague's farewell party. We sat in a large group in the beer garden. We have enough seating... Despite the good number of visitors, the food we ordered came relatively quickly. I had Salad Tom... a salad creation with rump steak for just under €25 and a tomato soup as a starter. Both were very tasty 😋 Judging by the empty plate, the other colleagues also seemed to have enjoyed it very much. The service staff was also on point and always there when the glasses were empty 😜

It's been a while since we've been to "Bölle" again and were able to get hold of one of the coveted dishes in the beautiful beer garden. The food was super tasty, although the portions could have been a little larger. The service was friendly and attentive. We are already looking forward to the next visit.

Unfortunately, the cooked cheese schnitzel was a bit burnt, the fried potatoes were dry and only lukewarm, at least the cooked cheese was served separately, which I rate as positive. The wheat beer was subpar: almost no yeast, no foam, stale and too warm.

It's been a while since I've had dinner at Bölle with my colleagues. It was very good, everything was freshly prepared and attentive, quick service. Just as I know it from Bölle. I just found the portions a little too small, but I was still full. I'm looking forward to the beer garden, I'll definitely stop by there more often.

Awful. Seated at a folding table under which one could hardly get the legs placed in the designated toddler playarea. Consequently parents and toddlers continuing to squeeze past to play in the remaining small space. Not the atmosphere you’d like to conclude a busy day. We’d called ahead for a reservation and would have rather been told there wasn’t space than to experience this. Food was bland and dry. No. Never again..

Service was good. Everything else was terrible. Food was dry and bland. We wanted to conclude a very hectic day with a nice dinner and made reservations for dinner. First visit to that restaurant ( we are certain now it was also the last). We were seated at a folding table in the designated toddler play area. Which resulted in parents and toddlers continuing to push past us to utilize their toys. That’s simply taking the greed too far. Squeezing the last buck out of the restaurant space. Awful. Never again. We would have been better off being turned away when we called to make the reservation.

There were two of us and we felt very comfortable. The waitress recommended something to us, including the right wine. All in one a successful evening.

I had baked sheep's cheese and boiled cheese schnitzel with fried potatoes. 2023-12-14. Thursday. We were lucky. In the evening around 1930 there was still a table for two available. Restaurant was packed. This time we again had curry soup with shrimps, baked sheep's cheese, green tagliatelle with mushrooms and broccoli and dessert. As always, we enjoyed it. 2023-07-30. Around 1845h. Today we had a curry soup with shrimps, boiled cheese schnitzel and tagliatelle on mushrooms with broccoli. Plus elderberry lemonade. Was delicious. 2023-04-27. We felt like eating at Bölle again. There was a tomato 🍅 soup first, delicious. Mushrooms on tagliatelle also delicious and a pizza veggi plus extra mushrooms. Summer in the beer garden. Easy to park. YHW
