Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für 14€ Pro Person ist die Qualität der Speisen gut und lecker. Allerdings sollte man viel Zeit mitbringen, da nur eine Person für die Zubereitung zuständig ist, wartet man pro Bestellung mindestens 40 min. Insgesamt haben wir für 2 Bestellungen 2h gewartet, bei einer Bestellung war leider verdorbener Fisch mit dabei.

I came here with friends and it was a disaster. First, the menu for the all you can eat is the smallest I've ever seen and the quality is quite mediocre (especially the rice and the fish). Second, we had to wait a lot for the food and the problem is that they bring all the food in a plate instead of using individual plates. We were 9 people so imagine the confusion trying to understand who ordered what. Plus, they didn't bring exactly what we ordered but different things (and it just generated more confusion). I won't come back here.

The food was amazing. You could really taste that is was freshly made. It was really cheap and of high quality. Furthermore, the waitress was kind and helpful.

Beste All-you-can-eat Sushi Restaurant in Köln! Sehr viel Auswahl und sehr lecker. War dort mit meiner Freundin schon mindestens 8x dort. Es ist echt nicht teuer, für das, was man bekommt. :)

Das Shokudo ist ein eher kleines Lokal und das Sushi wird in der offenen Küche frisch zubereitet. Für knapp unter 12€ ist man Mittags beim 'All you can eat' Angebot dabei, bei dem man zwar nicht alles von der Karte bestellen kann, aber trotzdem hinreichende Auswahl hat. Das Sushi, die Frühlingsrollen und die Gyoza sind frisch zubereitet und die frittierten Speisen kommen tatsächlich noch kochend heiß an den Tisch. Vorsicht, Verbrennungsgefahr! Generell gibt es schmackhaftes und handwerklich gut zubereitetes Sushi, nur ein paar Kleinigkeiten störten: Die Nori Blätter waren ungemein zäh, sodass man sich oft vor die Wahl gestellt sah, entweder einen riesigen Brocken Sushi in einem Bissen zu verschlucken oder mit einer zerqetschen Masse Restreis dazusitzen. Bei jedem Gericht, das Avocado enthielt, war irrsinnig viel davon drin. Das ist schön für Leute, die Avocado mögen, aber leider schmeckt man neben den riesigen Avocadobrocken dann leider auch gar nichts anderes mehr. In einigen Teilen war dermaßen viel enthalten, dass wir die Avocadoklumpen aus dem Sushi nahmen, um es überhaupt essen zu können. Letztlich fand ich persönlich den Sushireis etwas zu süß, aber meine Frau stimmt da nicht mit mir überein. Das Restaurant ist insgesamt sehr sauber, auch die Toiletten. Das Personal ist zurückhalten und fix. Bei zwei oder drei meiner Bestellungen wurden die falschen Mengen zubereitet, aber das kann auch an meiner erbärmlichen handschrift gelegen haben, mit der ich den Bestellzettel ausfüllte.

We ate here as a family. The service was bad and incredibly slow. They bring drinks but do not give glasses. The restaurant is not very clean. Plates and spoons were not well washed. The food was ok. The ambiance is also ok.

Shokudo is definitely my favourite Sushi and Ramen place in Cologne. I visited it several times and I tried lots of sushi dishes as well as ramen. The All-You-Can-Eat option is very convenient and at a superb quality/price ratio. Ramen is delicious and it comes in different variations. Sushi has a fresh and authentic taste, especially the Nigiri.

Bad service.. rude staff.. I can’t recommend this restaurant! We’ve tried all u can eat.. and we’ve complained about gyoza because he brought us fried one and not what we’ve asked and than the Chinese owner said that what we can expect if we come to eat only “ all we can eat with €19 ” So basically.. we were cheap customers... sushi was not wow also .. but for that price is ok.. u cannot pay with card and no toilets .. so there will be no next time!!!

There is probably on of the best sushis in cologne. The employees are super nice and very considerate. It is like an Snack Bar but for the price the sushi is so gorgeous. I visit it probably every other month .

Simply... the worst service ever!! In addition there is no a lot of choice and fish is not fresh..........

Its your cousy friendly place where u can enjoy a good sushi platter with all you cant eat offer. Fresh and fast well made sushi. Small place Sadly no washroom. Great experience.

This restaurant is located near Japan Foudation and other Japanese pub, but owned by Chinese. Similar as other Japanese restaurant owned by non Japanese, they serve Sushi and some other menu. Some cuisine is okay but Ramen(in this case, Japanese ramen) is arranged taste and is influenced by Chinese Ramen. That's why Japanese people may feel it different. But the owner serves gently and he often communicates to customers. But the lady is quite different. she threw and put the menu with tiresome and didn't clear the table in spite of the fact that we've already took seat. If they open the restaurant with Japanese name, I would like her to behave properly.

It was definitely the worst sushi i have ever eaten. There is no choice, the gyoza were burned and there are some stuff that, in my opinion, are not hygienic (they don't change the ginger when you finish your meal because it is in a big cup, so they give the cup directly to someone else, disgusting!). Terrible experience, i can't understand how it could have such a good feedback here.

Paid 10,80 for one person all you can eat. You can pick from a number of different sushi. However for 10,80 the selection is limited. If you want more kinds of sushi you can pay 15,80 for a selection of the entire menu. Its great would definitely visit again. Food was perfect

fish and ingredients are not top-class, as expected when you see the prices, but nonetheless, they are very tasty and everything was prepared fast and to my satisfaction. bamboo tee was a treat

A nice, cozy place in Cologne, Germany. I recommend it for a night with friends - you can sit as long as you like, eat delicious sushi, many veggie options! The price is 15,70 eur for a pretty huge amount of sushi rolls ;) Finish the dinner with a green tea ice-cream and a fortune cookie.

i was there with paar of friends and everyone like the sushi taste and the kind service there.With 15.8€ you can eat allmost everything that you want.It was full That Night .so i think the restraunt ist very popular by the local people and Seems that i made good Choice.^^

The Shokudo, even though it is not the easiest places to find and does not offer a load of seats, does have a really good range of japanese meals. The offers are amazing, especially the lunch offers from 12 to, I think, 3 pm are really good and absolutely worth the money. Huge Ramen-bowls for 5,99€ that will stuff you to the brim and are also really tasty. They also offer a lovely sushi all you can eat, which i fancy a lot. Generally i am not the sushi all-you-can-eat type, but here it is not a loveless buffet, but every piece is prepared as you order it and you can order until you are absolutely full. The all you can eat also offers soups, side dishes and desserts. The price is moderate, the evening- all-you-can-eat offers more dishes than the one for lunch, but is also a little more expensive. The place is clean and the staff is really nice. Only cut off is the toilet, which is more like the private toilet of the restaurant itself, but i did not find it to be gross or any kind of disturbance.
