Klasse Essen. Von vielen Indern (Restaurants) die mich über die Jahre kennenlernen durfte hat das Shiva in Deggendorf nicht nur die Beste Auswahl an Speisen, sondern war es über die letzten 3 Jahre immer Bestens im Geschmack. Im Winter wenn die Fenster geschlossen sind, ist es leider sehr stickig im Shiva. Hier fehlt leider eine Lüftung. Sonst immer zu empfehlen. Service ist auch top.

Ich hatte ein wunderbares Erlebnis im Restaurant Shiva in Deggendorf! Das Essen war authentisch, frisch und sehr schmackhaft. Der Butter Paneer und das Knoblauch-Naan waren einfach köstlich. Die Mitarbeiter waren während unseres gesamten Besuchs sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Das Restaurant war sauber, hatte eine angenehme Atmosphäre und der Service war exzellent. Insgesamt war es ein fantastisches kulinarisches Erlebnis, und ich kann dieses Restaurant jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der in Deggendorf nach großartigem indischem Essen sucht. Ich freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch!

Das Essen war absolut köstlich. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und freundlich. Die Qualität des Essens ist wirklich gut und das Lokal ist sowohl innen als auch außen sehr schön. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Wir hatten ein wunderbares Esserlebnis. Das Essen war einfach fantastisch, und wir haben jeden einzelnen Gang genossen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der hervorragende Service. Wir waren mit unseren Zwillingskleinkindern dort, die manchmal etwas kleckern können, und die Mitarbeiter waren überaus freundlich und verständnisvoll. Sie brachten uns aufmerksam zusätzliche Teller, ohne dass wir darum bitten mussten, was unser Essen deutlich erleichterte. Darüber hinaus überraschten sie uns mit einer kostenlosen Vorspeise und einem kleinen Dessert – eine wirklich nette Geste. Außergewöhnliches Essen, außergewöhnliche Gastfreundschaft und eine wirklich familienfreundliche Atmosphäre. Wir können dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Sehr leckere Speisen zu fairen Preisen. Wir waren nun schon öfter zu viert mit den Kindern - auch die lieben das Essen! Super sympathischer Service. Top Qualität! Lediglich die Einrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber alles ordentlich und sauber.

Ich kann Shiva sehr empfehlen! Es ist eine sehr entspannte Atmosphere und die Bedienung ist mehr als freundlich! Die Gerichte sind fantastisch und es gibt für jede Person etwas passendes! Ich habe selten einen WOW Effekt bei Restaurants, aber hier war er da! Geht ins Shiva falls ihrs noch nicht ausprobiert habt, sonnst verpasst ihr was!

Very tasty butter chicken absuolt wieder

I hob den neien Paneer-Dosa probiert und der war richtig guad! Der Dosa war schee knusprig, mit leckerem Paneer g’füllt, dazu tangige Chutneys und a richtig feiner Sambhar. Alles war frisch, würzig und super abgestimmt. Des is was Neues, was sie jetzt angefangen ham ......auf jeden Fall a Must-try! Absolut empfehlenswert!

Absolut begeistert! Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal hier und sind restlos begeistert. Das Essen war unglaublich lecker, perfekt gewürzt und kam kochend heiß an den Tisch. Besonders das Butter Chicken und das frische Knoblauch-Naan (Lassan Naan) waren ein Traum! Der Service war super aufmerksam, herzlich und sehr schnell. Man fühlt sich als Gast einfach rundum willkommen. Wir kommen definitiv wieder! Unbedingt ausprobieren!

Das indische Restaurant Shiva ist ein schöner Ort, meine Freunde sind immer dort und haben es mir empfohlen. Das Essen war sehr lecker 😋

Wundervolles Essen. Geschmacklich top. Der Salat war etwas mickrig beim Thali, der Service ist super aufmerksam. Bemängeln kann man, dass Salz nicht am Tisch steht und die Kerze nur auf Nachfrage angezündet wird aber insgesamt waren alle Mitarbeiter innerhalb Kürze ansprechbar und ausnahmslos freundlich. Spaß versteht der Chef auch 😁 für 1 Thali-Platte, 1 Spezi & Nanbrot mit Knoblauch hab ich 22,50 bezahlt. Der Schnaps des Hauses geht auch alkoholfrei und wird als Mangopürree serviert. Der Gruß des Hauses (3 Dips + Chips aus Kichererbsenbrot) verkürzt die Wartezeit aufs Essen. Für meinen Geschmack aber auf nüchternen Magen etwas zu scharf oder minzig. Daher einfach später gegessen. Die indische Musik ist nicht zu laut und traf genau meinen Geschmack. Das Interieur ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber bequem & zweckmäßig. Besser als moderne Spanplatten.... Parken war sehr nah möglich, es gibt 2,3 eigene Stellplätze.

Sehr gutes Essen, preislich normal, Personal sehr freundlich, einzig die Lautstärke war sehr hoch aber es waren halt viele junge Leute da und die unterhalten sich halt gerne also Essen und Service sehr gut nur wenn man ein ruhiges Plätzchen Sicht ist man nicht ganz so richtig

Sehr leckeres Essen zu erfrischend angenehmen Preisen! Zu zweit haben wir mit Getränken und extra Naan Brot nicht mal 40 Euro bezahlt. Tisch reserviert für 19:30 und er war quasi auf die Minute frei. Das Lokal war sehr gut besucht ohne Reservierung hätten wir wohl keinen Platz bekommen. Die Kellner waren sehr freundlich. Wir mussten nicht allzu lange auf das Essen warten. Zum Abschluss gab es noch Dessert oder Schnaps aufs Haus👍.

Top Service und unglaublich gutes Essen

Waren nun schon mehrmals in diesem indischen Restaurant und sind sehr zufrieden. Haben jedes mal ohne Probleme einen Tisch auch ohne Reservierung bekommen. Leider kommen wir nicht allzu oft nach Deggendorf, sonst würden wir viel öfter kommen.

Und inzwischen haben wir auch Fotos von dem wunderbaren Thali machen können, bevor wir alles aufgegessen haben...Ursprünglicher Post: Leider haben wir es bisher nicht geschafft, ein Foto von unserem Lieblingsgericht zu machen, da wir es immer nicht erwarten können mit dem Essen zu beginnen. Es gibt nur ein Foto mit leeren Schüsseln- der beste Beweis, dass es gut geschmeckt hat!! Unser Lieblingsgericht? Auf jeden Fall Thali, da hat man eine bunte Auswahl mit und ohne Fleisch, dazu Raita und Naan Brot. Sehr schmackhaftes Essen. Große Auswahl, Kellner sehr freundlich. Vorweg bekamen wir Papadam mit drei Dips auf Kosten des Hauses, beim Thali wurde auf meinen Wunsch bezüglich der Fleischarten eingegangen. Die Portionen waren reichlich, viel Reis dazu. Das Naanbrot wurde heiß serviert. Zur Rechnung wurde uns Schnaps oder wahlweise ein kleines Mangodessert angeboten. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We've been coming here for lunch or dinner for years, and the food has always been delicious! The service is also excellent. Sometimes there's a slightly longer wait in the evenings, which I don't mind at all, as you always get a little amuse-bouche with three dips beforehand. We've tried several other Indian restaurants (including the one near the cinema), but none of them compare to Shiva.

We had chicken tikka masala and mango chicken, raita, and naan for lunch. This was included a small salad or soup, and for dessert, there was a small portion of mango cream. There was also a martini, a house cocktail, an Indian beer, and a blackcurrant spritzer. Everything was attractively presented and delicious. I also ordered spicy sauce, which was also very tasty. The service was friendly and attentive. In addition to the dining room, there was also a glass-enclosed winter garden and an open-air beer garden. Everything was quite spacious. The food was plentiful for a lunch menu. We were surprised by the reasonable price of under €45 for everything. We would gladly come back.

This restaurant has somehow implemented economies of scale. Butter chicken, Tandury lamm and chicken with vegetables had all the same sauce. One sauce for four different dishes. A cook course by goddess Shiva would probably bring this restaurant forward. I am amazed by the good reviews.

I've been to this Indian restaurant in Deggendorf several times now, and the food is simply amazing every time! The waiters and the chef are really friendly, and the food is always delicious. You always get a free thin, crispy flatbread with three different sauces to try, followed by the main courses, and before you pay, you get either a free mango cream or an alcoholic drink. I really enjoy eating at Shiva; it's always a nice atmosphere, and the flavors and spices are completely different from what you're used to.

Very tasty food and friendly service. It was our first time here, but definitely not our last.

Absolute favorite restaurant in Deggendorf

It was a truly pleasant dining experience for me, the food was really good with many options being available including vegetarian dishes, the service was consistently good and all the waiters were friendly, I particularly liked the overall relaxing atmosphere created by the traditional decor and the soft indian music plaing in the background. There are indoor tables and outdoor tables which are nicely covered to provide shade from the sun.

By far the best Indian in the region, not to exaggerate, the best in all of Eastern Bavaria. Food always tastes very good, waiters are attentive and friendly. Now even with a vegan menu. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants.

Very pleasant atmosphere with a beautiful view and the price is absolutely perfect! For around €25 per person you get a very tasty starter, main course and a small dessert cup that will definitely fill you up. The food comes in a hot pan or on a heated mini stove so it doesn't get cold. There is also a large plate of rice that you can refill free of charge if necessary. The staff is very friendly and customer oriented. You feel extremely comfortable and at ease. We can rate the restaurant with 5 stars without much thought; it is worth a visit for the Deggendorf area. Always happy, top!

Our regular restaurant in Deggendorf! We go to the restaurant regularly. The staff is more than friendly, always very accommodating! The food comes quickly and it has never happened that anyone has to wait for their food. Shiva is unbeatable in terms of price! You get as much rice as you can eat (or until the sauce is empty😅) and you will definitely be full! Personally, I don't know of a better restaurant! Highly recommended! 5 stars!!

This is the best restaurant in Deggendorf. We are there at least once a month - regular customers, so to speak. The employees are super friendly and will accommodate your every request. When you come in you are greeted very warmly and the employees always put a smile on your face. The food is super delicious Recommendation: (number 94 [vegetarian], number 31 [grill] and starter number 12 [vegetarian] The rice can be refilled free of charge upon request, the starter and dessert are free. You can't get that anywhere else. The starter and dessert (man can choose from three) are delicious. The price-performance ratio is good and you really get a lot of food for the price. The dishes are served at the same time and the food is great don't wait for yourself. I'm already looking forward to the next visit.

The food is excellent there, the service is attentive and very friendly. Only the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired, our table was reserved in advance and dirty when we arrived. We had to explicitly point out to the employee that the dirty placemats, which were completely colored with curry, had to be changed, even though a large number of stains were clearly visible. After being informed, the change was immediately followed up

Good service and nice atmosphere. However, the naan bread and the starter dips were totally tasteless, the chicken in the curry was dry and hard, as was the fish. Unfortunately, the food was quite a flop and I don't understand all the positive reviews. The low prices don't help either.

For the most part everything was ok to great

The food was delicious, even if it was a bit "Germanized" ;) We were able to pick up right away because the food was ready and despite the long way home, everything stayed warm.

The food was good and the quality was good at the first time.but the second time ate a vegitable biriyani it was too less quantity , I couldn't even fill by stomach , and when I asked about it their replay was not nice. I am editing this message , I was sitting in the restaurant while reviewing , they saw the review that I wrote and the service person came to me and talked with me, in a more rude way . I won't recommend this restaurant to anyone . At least reviewing is our own choice. While leaving he also mentioned that next time if we come he'll make sure that we won't get a table.
