Wonderful atmosphere, very friendly service all around... and the food is simply amazing. We had an extremely good evening.

We were seated an hour before our reservation time. The appetizer was substantial but very tasty, as was the main course. It's not cheap, but it's very good.

Attentive service, unobtrusively friendly, extensive menu. I had chicken in a spinach, feta, and tomato crust with rice and salad—well-seasoned and absolutely delicious. The ambiance is elaborate; it transports you to another world for a short time, but that's a matter of taste. The background noise is pleasant, allowing for easy conversation. I was completely satisfied.

The food was delicious. Unfortunately, we were obviously there at a bad time, as not all the staff were ready yet. However, they came and got us with more delicious food. The price is a bit high, but you get to experience different flavors, and the quality of my lamb skewer in mango chutney was absolutely fantastic!

I find this behavior completely unprofessional and it casts a negative light on the reviews of this establishment: "The ambiance is pleasant, although the seating is very cramped. The service is professional but not friendly. The food is good, but nothing special. The portions are too expensive for the price. The dessert (ice cream) is very tasty. I won't be going there again; it's not worth it."

The price-performance ratio is not right.

I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday at Shiraz in Darmstadt – and from the very first moment, I was absolutely thrilled. Upon entering, I was greeted with warm congratulations and a smile that was simply priceless. The ambiance is dreamy. Culinary-wise, Shiraz offers an impressive variety: from chicken and beef to grilled cheese – combined with a range of fruity to spicy and aromatic nuances. The typical Persian spices created a true explosion of flavor. The homemade Shiraz tea rounded off the experience perfectly, providing a comforting, aromatic warmth. The absolute highlight, however, awaited us at the end: a dessert platter for four that truly left nothing to be desired. Rice pudding, waffles with applesauce, ice cream in a wide variety of flavors, pomegranate, glass noodle ice cream with cherries and lime juice – an extraordinary selection, something I've never experienced before. My personal favorites: the pistachio ice cream and the chocolate lava cake. Everything was beautifully presented and perfectly garnished with fresh fruit. A huge thank you to the entire Shiraz team: You made my birthday a culinary experience I won't soon forget. Highly recommended!

The food was delicious, no doubt, but the portions were too small for my taste. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio isn't right. This was probably my last visit to Shiraz.

The ambiance is pleasant, stylish, and inviting. I would particularly like to highlight the exceptionally friendly and attentive service. We had some leftover food, and the staff member not only carefully packed it but even vacuum-sealed it and added some extra rice to ensure everything was perfectly balanced. I have never experienced service like this before – thank you so much! I am absolutely delighted and would return in a heartbeat. A place that truly impresses on all fronts and will leave a lasting impression.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. The room temperature could have been a bit warmer (but we were there very early, so perhaps it wasn't exactly cozy, but it wasn't freezing either). Highly recommended. Excellent value for money. Would definitely go back.

Last night, three of us dined at Shiraz. Making a reservation online was very easy and worked perfectly. The food and the atmosphere were perfect. The service staff was attentive and courteous at all times. We highly recommend Shiraz and are already looking forward to our next visit.

Unfortunately, the service is nowhere near what it used to be, but the prices have increased significantly. Despite the restaurant being full, the first round of drinks and food arrived quickly. The food quality was good. After that, we unfortunately had to wait in vain for 45 minutes for our next drinks and to be asked to pay. As compensation, we received a complimentary espresso (for four people).

The lunch buffet was far too small for the price, but the food was okay. Good service.

Mass processing; after 90 minutes you're asked to pay and leave. No option for a coffee or dessert. The food tastes good, but it's also priced accordingly. Unfortunately, the service is unwelcoming and impolite.

The food and service were excellent, as always. The food is really good, although it's not cheap. We sat in the adjacent room to the left, which is unfortunately a bit drafty and cramped. Otherwise, everything was fine.

Everything here is simply delicious! We were here with a large group after our civil wedding. There was a pre-prepared menu with a champagne reception, appetizer platters, main courses for everyone to share, and dessert platters. We loved everything. We were able to sit in the conservatory, which was nicely heated, and our guests loved it too. There was something for everyone. It was within walking distance of the wedding tower.

That's it for a long time. I shouted "pistachio ice cream" to the waiter for dessert. At €12.99, it was already too expensive for me, and I thought about it for a long time. When I finally got the bill, it came to €17.99. When I asked, I was told, "It came with a waffle." That's steep, and in my opinion, the waiter should have asked if I wanted it. That's a rip-off. The lamb was good, so it's one more star. But they won't be seeing me again for a long time.

Very nice ambiance, but the food was nothing special, and the meat was a bit tough. The price for such a simple meal is outrageously high! Other Persian restaurants and snack bars offer better or equivalent quality for 1/3 the price! The dessert was very small, but it came with a lot of cheap side dishes and decorations, and it was also very expensive for the quality...a shame.

Shiraz has established itself as a really top Persian restaurant. The food is top quality with generous sized serves. The service is fast, efficient and friendly. By Darmstadt standards it's more expensive than most but very good value for money. Even on Wednesday evening when we were there, it was full. Can get fairly noisy. Highly recommended.

Only the lunch buffet is rated here: and it was excellent. From salad to dessert, all the dishes were fresh, hot, and deliciously seasoned. There are vegan, vegetarian, and meat dishes with lamb and chicken. Everything from mild to spicy is available. Our tip: use the gourmet menu. We'd be happy to eat here again.

We visited this restaurant for lunch on a Sunday. Seven of us had reserved a table in advance. The cuisine is typically oriental Persian, and we recommend checking out the menu beforehand. The selection is vast, making it difficult to decide. We were all delighted by the oriental spices and the preparation of the dishes. The welcome was very friendly, and the service was excellent.

Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with our visit. The prices are very high compared to the quality and portion sizes. The three of us paid around €102, which was truly excessive for what we got. The food didn't taste fresh; one of the dishes clearly came from a can and wasn't homemade. The taste and quality didn't match the price at all. Unfortunately, we wouldn't go back, especially since there are many restaurants in Germany that offer significantly better quality for the same price.

The restaurant was kind enough to cook a meal for our film crew. The food was truly delicious, the pickup was on time, and the service was excellent! In the end, 30 people were full and very satisfied. We'd be happy to go again!

The food is of very good quality, and the staff seems friendly. However, I find it disproportionate to charge €8 for a refilled 0.75-liter glass bottle of water—it seems almost outrageous. Very attentive service, the food is fresh—for example, the grated carrots in the salad aren't from a jar, and the mushrooms in the food are fresh. Prices are a bit on the high side, but reasonable these days.

I recently visited Shiraz for the first time and really enjoyed it. The food was delicious, and you could tell it was freshly prepared. The service was also really friendly; we didn't have to wait long. I especially liked the relaxed atmosphere; it's a really comfortable place to sit. I'll definitely be back!

We occasionally order catering for the club here, and of all the restaurants we've ordered from, the dining experience at Shiraz has always been the best. So, I can't comment on the ambiance there, but the food always arrived hot and properly prepared. You can tell just how well the food is received by the guests by how quickly the Chevy vans were emptied :)

Highly recommended. The team is extremely friendly and attentive, and you feel very welcome. The restaurant transports you straight to the Orient. The mixed appetizer platter was amazing, only the shrimp were way overcooked. However, this hardly detracted from the overall flavor experience thanks to the wide variety and perfectly seasoned falafel, sambos, eggplant mousse, etc. Our main courses, Djudje Bandari (grilled chicken breast with tomato cream sauce, roasted vegetables, and saffron rice) and the tajine-braised lamb shank Mahitsche Beryani, were also impressive. The lamb shank was as tender as butter, highly recommended even for lamb skeptics. The interplay of acidity, spice, and sweetness is brilliant (pomegranate, prunes, barberry). If the walnuts had been used more discreetly, it would certainly have been a bit more rounded. For dessert, the saffron rose water was particularly outstanding, but the rice pudding and chocolate cake were also pretty good. Enough whining about the high standards. Not even in the Orient has the food been this good. Definitely worth at least one visit. We'll be back 😊

We were there today, and everything we ordered was really delicious, like the kebab, rice, and lamb. It was very clean and so friendly and welcoming. I'm very picky when it comes to restaurants, but this one was absolutely perfect.

I ordered a small catering event (finger food) here at short notice. The delivery was as agreed, and all the guests were delighted.

Four of us ate at Shiraz today. The welcome was warm and we were quickly seated in the covered outdoor area. We got our menus after 10 minutes, then we waited ages until we could order drinks and food. Drinks arrived after another 10 minutes and the food shortly after, but they had forgotten to bring our starters. Since we didn't want to send the main course back, we just skipped the starter. We were never asked for drinks again that evening!!! The main course was nothing special. It didn't taste any different to what we get at home. I thought I was getting special spices or I was waiting for an explosion of flavor in my mouth, but alas, it never came. Absolutely overpriced for run-of-the-mill food. We then wanted to look at the menu again for dessert. We got the menu quickly, but the waiter just walked past us and didn't want to ask about dessert or drinks. In retrospect, I'm annoyed that I actively called the waiter, because we waited ages for dessert. It was beautifully presented and tasted good. But it wasn't anything special, especially not for €14. I'm not going to see that Shiraz again.

Very nice staff, so warm and welcoming, and the vibe was also nice and cozy. The food was fine, tho there was too much salad next to the appetiser and the main dish. The koubideh was a bit dry and I felt like some parts were not properly cooked, but the portion was generous. They also served bread with cheese and green herbs with the appetiser.

Fantastic dinner at Shiraz in Stuttgart! As a Persian, I can say the flavors were fresh and authentic. Particularly delicious: the delicate Chelo Kabab Barg, the mildly spicy Tajin Mahitsche Baluchi with its distinctive flavor, creamy Borani Spinach, and homemade Zeytoon Parvarde. Traditionally cozy inside, modern outside. We arrived around 8:30 p.m. on a Tuesday, were able to park for free right on the same street, and easily brought our dog. About €90 for two—worth every cent! 🍽✨

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while looking for somewhere open at 4 p.m. The food was delicious, including fresh, crispy falafel (the falafel starter plate cost €16, but was easily enough for two people), and delicious homemade lemonade. The only "oh :/" was the balsamic dressing on the side salad, but that's a matter of taste. We were also pleasantly surprised by the QR code displayed at the table, which allows you to access the menu in English (in addition to the physical menu in German) or a detailed allergen list. So, if you're willing to spend a bit more for a meal, I highly recommend it!

It was the worst Iranian food I’ve ever had at n Germany. The minced kebab was full of bicarbonate which made it like a pice of plastic. The rice hasn’t been cooked enough and you could feel this matter entirely. On the whole I have to say that this taste wasn’t something that we call Iranian food and if someone wants to try Iranian food I would recommend trying somewhere else. Contrary to the food behaviour of staff was great 👍 and the view was stunning. I like the decoration of the restaurant. 👍

Seven of us celebrated a birthday here. We had appetizers, a main course, and dessert. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The service was prompt and entertaining. Unfortunately, one of our drink orders went missing, so we lost a point for service. The quality of the food was exceptionally good. The non-alcoholic cocktails and homemade lemonades were particularly noteworthy. This is authentic Persian cuisine with great flavors and a very appealing presentation. A real must for lovers of Persian cuisine. In my opinion, one of the best restaurants in Darmstadt.
