Very tasty lunch buffet and friendly service. Starter (leaf salad) and a dessert (pudding) manageable. There is a varied selection of main courses. Everything very fresh and delicious. We recommend the restaurant (two people were here for between 30 and 40 years). It's worth it!

There was a huge rush on Saturday at 8 p.m. Despite reserving a table, we had to wait 10 minutes until the other guests left. We were kindly asked to be patient and were amazed at how well the situation was managed logistically. As always, the food was absolutely outstanding! We had a great evening with our friends. Parking can be challenging at times - you should plan for that.

We were assigned a table in the cool winter garden and given the menu. Then no one cared about us anymore and we left.

Price-performance fits in my opinion. The only point deduction is for a drink that was forgotten to bring. We still had a wonderful evening.

Da man mir einen Schlemmerblock geschekt hatte, sind wir auch mal im Shiraz gelandet. Das Essen war sehr lecker und wirkte frisch zubereitet. Owohl er in der Karte nicht erwähnt war, war auch ein Salat dabei. Das gibt es heute nur noch selten. Der Service war zunächst sehr aufmerksam, doch als wir zahlen wollten, ist längere Zeit niemand mehr zu sehen gewesen. Die Preise sind bereits etwas höher, aber in Anbetracht der Qualität noch angemessen. Dank Schlemmerblock dann doch noch günstig.

Very nice atmosphere, very courteous service, the food is fantastic. But: the portions have become smaller and even more expensive. If you sit at the back of the restaurant it is very hot and stuffy. There is no parking, you have to drive around the neighborhood until you find something. Overall, the overall package has become unattractive. Too bad

Excellent restaurant, delicious food, the only thing I didn't like was the reservation time from 6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m., that's not enough for a cozy evening, but we were able to sit in the winter garden and it took longer, otherwise only recommended

Parking here is a challenge and extremely expensive, it's best to use public transport. Very attentive service and nice decor.

One of the best Persian restaurants in the Rhine Main area

Even though it is no longer an insider tip after these many years, nothing has diminished. Very tasty food, friendly staff and oriental atmosphere.

We ate very well, were served very courteously and had a few lovely hours in the cozy restaurant.

Unfortunately, I was informed by Google that the operator was trying to have my review deleted due to “defamation”. That doesn't work at all! Therefore only 1 star. In my opinion, the food offered to me was of good quality, but not particularly special and therefore too expensive for me. I found the service to be unfriendly and taciturn throughout, only the supposed owner greeted us nicely and said goodbye. The ambience seemed very nice and authentic to me, but also very narrow and loud and unfortunately the door to the outside area was always left open, so it felt cold in there.

Great restaurant, as soon as you enter you feel like you've been transported to the Orient. Great ambience. Very tasty food and the courteous but unobtrusive service made the evening perfect. Only the parking situation is not great.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and you feel welcome from the start. The interior creates a pleasant atmosphere and the service staff is very polite and courteous. Unfortunately the food was disappointing. The portions are very small and the taste was just enough. As a Persian cuisine lover who has visited many restaurants, I am sad to say that this was the worst experience so far. The prices are particularly disappointing: the portions have shrunk, while the prices feel like they have doubled. Overall, the restaurant is very expensive without the quality of the food justifying it.

Shiraz Restaurant is a fantastic Persian restaurant that serves up incredibly flavorful dishes. The lamb is particularly delicious, and the service and atmosphere are both excellent. It's a great place to try something new and enjoy a delightful dining experience.

Absolutely NOT a recommendation for Persian cuisine. Extremely POOR value for money. Conclusion (exceptionally first): Here the owner is trying to make a fortune at the expense of Persian (food) culture. And this includes another restaurant (the Djadoo). Of course, one could claim that his “success” proves him right. However, it is no secret that most of the mostly non-Persian guests have little or no experience with Persian cuisine. Unfortunately, this is reflected in the reviews, which are simply inexplicably high (a rogue if someone thinks of purchased reviews!). The fact remains, however, that the ambience or the mere participation in two TV formats (which the boss harps on far too much) cannot console the considerable shortcomings/weaknesses. Ambience: Nice and sometimes a bit cheesy and sometimes depressing. Service: Part friendly and always trying hard! We didn't meet any professionals. For example, lost cutlery was handed over “manually”. Food/drinks: As a connoisseur of Persian cuisine, I could almost write a novel here, but I would like to spare you that. Just this much: In terms of quality, the restaurant is at housewife level. This is also (most likely) based on the modular principle (sometimes even thawed). Priced at star level! A simple barley soup as a starter (no matter what it was refined with) for twelve euros (!) is simply too expensive. We had to pay an incredible €131 for an average meal: - Starter (17 + 20) - Main course (26 + 22) - Dessert (ice cream 11 & rice pudding 18) - 2 ayran + 2 tea (11 + 6) Sorry, but it's more worth going to Salzburg to the Ikarus where you can get real star cuisine.

Unfortunately there was a problem with a service person when paying. Finally, we ordered three mochas from a nice waitress and asked for the bill. As she went to take our order, another waiter suddenly intervened to charge us. This person was not informed about the mocha order, which he then had to subsequently enter into his device. We didn't receive an invoice after paying, as usual. We later asked for the bill from the waitress who had taken the last three mochas because we thought the amount was too high. As expected, the amount on the bill was lower than what the other waiter had quoted us. As a result, we paid more tips than we wanted and the situation overall seemed very strange. We wouldn't have expected this from a restaurant like this, which is more expensive in terms of price. Despite the excellent food and an actually successful evening, we went home with a bad feeling.

The food was delicious, the selection on the menu is extremely large, so it takes a moment to decide. In terms of price, I think it's a higher class, so you shouldn't look at the euro so much. Wir waren gestern zum ersten Mal im Shiraz und einfach nur begeistert. Angefangen vom freundlichen Empfang und netten zuvorkommenden Bedienungen und Wünschen, über die ansprechende Einrichtung mit Wohlfühlambiente, der Sauberkeit (auch in der Toilette) bis hin zum Essen. Das war eine Wucht, Auswahl, Aussehen, Geschmack, Gewürze: einfach sehr sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Sehr zu empfehlen und mit Schlemmerblock geht´s auch nen Tick preiswerter. Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder.

We went to Shiraz for the first time yesterday and just loved it. Starting with the friendly welcome and nice, courteous service and requests, through the attractive furnishings with a feel-good atmosphere, the cleanliness (including in the toilet) and the food. It was amazing, selection, appearance, taste, spices: simply very, very tasty and rich. Highly recommended and with Schlemmerblock it's also a bit cheaper. We'll definitely come back again.

A regular local for years! Not the cheapest place, but extremely tasty and always a little journey into another world.

Really incredibly delicious food! It reminded me of home, the way my mom cooks it 😊 I went there with my friends for my birthday. My friends ate Persian food for the first time and were very satisfied. We ordered an appetizer platter and at the end a dessert platter for 6 people and it was more than enough for all of us. A little pricey, but the experience was definitely worth it. We would love to come back 😊

The restaurant is nice, BUT expensive for these dishes. I have tried many Persian restaurants in Germany and there is always a free starter (Persian bread, cheese, onions and some vegetables), but not in this one. In Persian restaurants there is always rice with saffron and a small packet of butter, but not in this restaurant. The meat was ok but the chicken was dry and burnt. Honestly, I think you're just paying for the fancy place there, not the quality of the food. 10€ for a small salad?? As a Persian who eats Persian food every day and has tried more than 20 Persian restaurants in Germany, this is the end of the list. It was nice to try it once, but we won't go there again. Some of the staff are very friendly and some are really unfriendly, for example the cashier was very unfriendly on the phone and in person. No parking, and if you are lucky and find a parking space on the street you have to PAY €5 FOR 30 MINUTES. Not recommendable.

*OVERRATED* everything was very average, portions are small for Persian dishes. Rice is not enough. No music. No complimentary Sabzi or bread. Kebab was not fresh. And NO BUTTER for the rice. I’m still hungry btw

Adventure eating Persian, since I've unfortunately never been there before, I can't judge the quality, but since there were a lot of Persians there as guests... I think it's good :-) Just try something out. We sat on the terrace and noticed little of the interior.

We had a very nice stay on the outside terrace today. The lunch buffet was varied and very tasty. The service was excellent and friendly. At the end, our son was even served a dessert plate with a sparkler because it was his birthday. We have been there for the third time since October and the quality is always high. We recommend!

I've been here again for a long time. The atmosphere is very nice and the service was very friendly and attentive. The food was very good, but I found the price a bit too high and the ratio of rice and vegetables wasn't quite right.

We had reserved in the winter garden, but unfortunately we couldn't sit there because of a meeting. As compensation we got the Persian mocha at the house's expense. That was a very good balance and very friendly service. The food was very good, the dishes had a balanced taste and were beautifully decorated. Everything fine. Thank you very much and gladly again.

Loveless! We were a registered wedding party of 12 people. When we arrived at the restaurant at the agreed time, nothing was set up or prepared. We were put in a dark side area of ​​the main dining room and then we were told that the buffet would be cleared away in half an hour and because of that and because we might be eating a la carte, it would not be refilled. All in all, very sobering after a beautiful and celebratory wedding in the wedding tower. We were hoping for a stylish and tasty conclusion from the restaurant and not to be pushed into the dark, undecorated and uncovered "broom closet".

Das Essen war lecker. Zum Geburtstag gab es ein Deserttteller aufs Haus. Personal bemüht, aber da wäre noch etwas Luft nach oben. Mehr Flexibilität bzgl Kinderbedürfnissen wäre schön. Anpassungen eines der zwei Kindergerichte waren nicht möglich. Aber eine Erwachsenengericht in klein aber bei gleichem Preis der großen Portion schon.. Warum sollte man den gleichen Preis für weniger zahlen? Das war leider etwas seltsam und ernüchternd. Würde es dennoch "empfehlen" .. Mit kleinen Kindern allerdings weniger.

Fabulous restaurant with over 100 choices to satisfy every palate. We were walking and had no issue getting a dinner table - it may be different in the summer months. We had a NZ lamb dish and a fish dish. Both were simply delicious. Would recommend this restaurant for great food & Drinks. Cost was approx €80 including one G&T each. Not cheap but generous servings.

We were here for the lunch buffet with the gourmet block. We both eat vegan. The waiter kindly explained to us what we could eat at the buffet. Because there were only 3 completely vegan dishes (excluding rice), he brought us two extra bowls with other dishes. That was very thoughtful and kind! We were happy and enjoyed the food.

I'm sorry, but I have to report a very negative experience today. My wife and I ate Shiraz at the restaurant and no sauces were served with the grill plate. The grill plate was not only disappointing in terms of taste, but also overpriced. For the price I would have expected half a cow on my plate. When the food was served, I wanted to order sauces with it, but the waitress told me that I had to order them separately. I chose the "wild garlic sauce" (see attached), the only wild thing about the sauce was the price of €9! For that amount I could get a kebab with a drink and plenty of sauce. To be honest, the sauce was nothing special - just some yogurt with a pinch of salt and pepper and a few lettuce leaves for decoration, barely a trace of garlic. Next time I'll eat somewhere else.

We were very disappointed with the food. There was no sign of the spices described in the menu and there was no sauce. When asked, they said that the cauliflower was the “sauce”. Overall the food and drinks are overpriced. The wine wasn't cold enough.

However, there is one downer: The extremely poor air quality in the interior. Even during the week, the restaurant is very busy in the evenings and, due to the lack of a ventilation system in the dining room, no windows are open in cold, nasty weather. Accordingly, the air becomes more and more “rich” due to the fumes of many guests and the food. A CO2 value of around 2,000 ppm means that around 4% of the air I breathe has already been in someone else's lungs. Unhygienic. About 500 ppm is normal in well-ventilated rooms. The fresh air after leaving the location is a pleasure. A modern ventilation system could provide additional quality here. But regardless, it is an excellent restaurant in Darmstadt.

Very tasty food and drink offerings in a beautiful oriental ambience. The service staff is absolutely competent and professional, but we missed the warmth of the lady who mainly served us, she was very distant. This put a slight damper on our visit to Shiraz.
