We were here for lunch. There is a lunch special with good prices for food and a small drink, there were also choices for vegetarians. The food was very tasty. The service was friendly and quick. The furnishings are well thought out, you immediately feel at home. Gladly again!

I enjoy eating Asian food, be it Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese or Chinese cuisine, and I always find the staff to be extremely friendly. But here? Wow.. just rude.. random.. never again..

It's been a long time since I've eaten really, really good Asian food. Sushi was very good, as were the starters. My children had poultry and my brother had duck. Everything was very good and tasty. No mass-produced goods or even convenience.

Disaster. Food came 1 hour later then something was missing and then it came wrong and I still had to pay for it.

Teller werden lange nicht abgeräumt, nach einem zweiten Getränk mussten wir selber fragen (aber erstmal die Aufmerksamkeit des Personals bekommen) und nach Dessert wurde auch nicht gefragt.

The two of us were there last night without a reservation. The waiter told us that he would not accept guests again for an hour because there would not be enough “waiter capacity”. He was there alone with a colleague and they probably didn't feel like serving a few more people. There were enough free tables (6 of them). He sent us out into the cold and rain. Absolutely incomprehensible to me!! I worked in the catering industry myself for 5 years and if you still have enough space, you take in the guests! Just because the good gentleman didn't feel like making a bit of effort and serving one more table, does he send guests away? How the boss thinks. Never experienced anything like this.

Very, very tasty and well prepared sushi, we really liked it. However, the ramen wasn't to our taste. Unfortunately, the music was also a bit too loud in our opinion. Waiters friendly, quick and accommodating.

I was disappointed with my ramen. Everyone else was happy with their food. Decoration is very pretty. Would be willing to go again but would not recommend getting ramen - it is okay but I prefer it from other places.

Unfortunately we were disappointed. The food came relatively quickly, but was very bland. The squid dish was just lukewarm, the broccoli and mushrooms were completely raw and cold. The squid just didn't taste like anything, so definitely not worth €28. The sauces for the other dishes were also hardly seasoned. But what I found worst was the way our (very nicely worded) criticism was handled, namely not at all. We weren't even offered a coffee or something similar. Something like that just doesn't work if you want to have satisfied guests. So we won't recommend Shifudo, and next time we'd rather go back to the Block House, they know how service works.

Asian restaurant with mediocre quality

I celebrated my birthday at Shifudo, but unfortunately the evening turned out to be a big disappointment. A waitress was very friendly and even gave us shots at the end, but unfortunately that was the only positive thing about the evening. First of all, we were charged €10 for keeping a cake in the fridge - completely excessive. What was even worse, however, was the disrespectful treatment from the manager. The long drinks were inedible and disgusting, the sushi was dry and sticky, and the ramen was absolutely not tasty either. It seems like all the money just goes into the facility because the hygiene left a lot to be desired. The toilet smelled unpleasant and we had severe stomach pains after eating. We were promised a discount because of the bad drinks, but that was a lie. We didn't get a discount. We also asked to just get water instead of drinks. We were assured that it would be on the house, but in the end we were still charged for it. Overall, a really disappointing evening. I definitely won't recommend Shifudo.

Thanks to a recommendation from a friend, I was able to continue my culinary journey at Shifudo. The beautiful ambience of the restaurant immediately invites you to order something delicious from the menu. The staff is very friendly, helpful and very accommodating. In my opinion, Shifudo is a jewel among Hamburg restaurants.

Food was again great. There were four of us. Unfortunately one person had 2 hairs in their food. We didn't complain about this because we didn't want to complain and the food was very good. That's why only the 4 stars. The chairs outside become very uncomfortable after a short time. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We'd love to come back

Very good to eat there, but also very expensive for the size of the portions. The seating outside is a bit cheap, very old wooden tables and chairs, more reminiscent of old garden chairs and tables. But inside it is very classy and clean.

Best crispy chicken I have ever eaten at an Asian restaurant in Hamburg.

Not so good… The waiter was very unfriendly and treated you rather condescendingly (no request or thank you came from his lips). I had fried noodles with chicken, but they were so poorly seasoned that I felt like I poured half a bottle of soy sauce over them. Drinks are unreasonably expensive. Delivery service Flink also scurried in three times (for the staff's private orders!), which of course distracted them and made the guests wait a long time for the next steps from intake to payment. The ambience is nice, but unfortunately that doesn't make up for the poor service.

Wonderful! Very nice staff and delicious food. Found the restaurant by chance and got the food quickly. Can only recommend the sushi with crispy chicken and teriyaki sauce as well as the squid balls! Was delicious!

Our son “forced” us to go there because of the ramen. When I saw the menu I couldn't decide which I liked better. It was really great. Huge, hot, mega freshly prepared food and unusual drinks. The fried chicken was so good. The dishes are beautiful and the ambience couldn't be better. The service was relaxed and authentic, could have been a little more “authoritative”. It's worth it and we will come again.

Unfortunately I have to give the restaurant one star. I placed an order yesterday and explicitly pointed out my allergy to nuts both over the phone (ordered food to be picked up) and again directly on site and checked with the staff. At home there were peanuts everywhere under the sauce in the food. It is an absolute absurdity to put people with severe allergies in danger, especially since the restaurant's layout and the dishes are more expensive. It's a shame because it took away all my confidence that I would like to come there again and I couldn't eat the food.

"COCONUT SOUP ALA SUSHI" The coconut soup is not recommended with shrimps/prawns or chicken for over 7 euros. The super small portion tasted slightly fishy and was only served lukewarm: the ingredients such as shrimp, raw broccoli, carrot strips and greens as well as the chicken breasts were probably just added to the soup without being cooked or heated beforehand. The portion of rice we ordered for 3 euros was only lukewarm. Nothing was steaming. It was almost exactly 12 noon and the restaurant was almost empty. The food was served too quickly to be served hot. The service misunderstood that both dishes should be completely heated again.

We drove from Dithmarschen to HH specifically to try these viral sushi from Tiktok etc. We were there around lunchtime, the shop was empty at that time, but we were greeted warmly and were able to order straight away. The sushi was excellent!!!!!!!!!😋 Tip: We recommend the homemade lemonades or the lemon raspberry...

Service was great, ambience was very nice, but very loud when it was full. Chicken was a bit dry, my pork belly with lukewarm rice noodles could have been seasoned a little better, rice noodles were very sticky and therefore difficult to eat. The food was okay, but not special either.

Super delicious food! If you tip the waitress enough and they already know you, then the waitress will be great. Otherwise the women are super nice even without tips! Unfortunately the portions are a little too small for the price... unfortunately I can't recommend the sushi. But all the other dishes are really great!

We've wanted to go to Shifudo for a long time, and it finally worked out yesterday. The ambience and furnishings are absolutely successful. A mix of modern and a bit Asian. The chairs are super comfortable and the tables are a nice size. The service was good and the food was a poem, there is no other way to say it. The prices are absolutely reasonable for the service offered. We will definitely go here again.

Had sushi twice. The first time it was so delicious that we came back a few weeks later. The 2x time the sushi rolls were significantly smaller and lacked content. In addition, the kitchen was very inflexible when it came to our wishes (that's debatable). The worst thing for me is that I complained twice and was put off to no avail. A friendly gesture would have been appropriate here. I'll avoid the store for now. It's a shame actually, great atmosphere and generally nice staff.

Location and service were very nice but the food wasn't that good. We had ramen and some sushi. In the ramen they put minced meat in instead of normal meat (anyone who knows ramen knows that there shouldn't be any minced meat in it) and the sushi was quite small for the price. We tried it but unfortunately we weren't satisfied at all

Visually it's a really nice restaurant. The employees are all very nice and the food came quickly. However, the prices are very high and the food (ramen in my case) wasn't spicy enough for my taste.

It was really tasty. The ambience is great, high ceilings and yet it's not loud. Many vegetarian alternatives. We'll definitely come back again :)

A very nice and modern restaurant. But what really impresses is the food, super fresh and tasty and also made to please the eye. All around great. Only the menus were sometimes a bit wildly mixed up. Staff very nice. Only the music was very loud where we were sitting, which wasn't so pleasant.

+: The Maki Set (€15.90) ​​is a very good choice for trying several Maki at once. The salmon maki and the avocado maki particularly tasted very good. The Tiger Roll (€17.90) also tasted very good. The ingredients harmonized very well. ~: The Karaage (€6.90) tasted good, but the chicken wasn't as juicy as it could have been. -: The lychee iced tea and the mango-lemon drink (€6.90) were not convincing given the high price. It tasted like the respective juice diluted with sparkling water, but the drink was beautifully presented. You should definitely make a reservation as the restaurant is busy. We would come back because of the nice ambience, the good sushi and the appealing menu.

A nice new restaurant in Wandsbek. There's a lot of choice on the menu, the prices are okay, although I found the drinks quite expensive. The chicken is very good and we had a huge portion of ramen. Service was also very friendly, the music didn't really match the atmosphere.

Please plan a little more money as the prices are quite expensive. 7 rolls of 8 pieces each, 1x edamame, 1x large bottle of water 0.75L = 124€ But it was delicious! PS: There is a separate small room upstairs for around 10 people for birthday parties or company events. I like it! Parking situation is catastrophic and impossible, I would recommend everyone to take the train or a taxi to Moia etc.

The sushi was delicious but the wait was very long (1:30). I think if it's not worth it at this price, you can eat cheaper and faster somewhere else. The decor is nice and gives the place a nice atmosphere.

Addendum February 19, 2024: We live close by and once the store opened the food was truly world class. Unfortunately, you increasingly notice that the quality and size of the portions are smaller and the service seems stressed. Unfortunately, prices are also rising. Unfortunately, we are a bit disappointed and thought that after our 9 visits we would do many more. We will consider whether we do that. :(

Today I was visiting the restaurant with my family not only offers an excellent selection of dishes, but also a very welcoming atmosphere. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. I recommend this restaurant only recommend.

The two of us had lunch here on Sunday. There is great food here for both meat lovers and vegetarians.

Were there on Valentine's Day - totally over-reserved. The queue wasn't normal even though everyone had reservations. Had to wait 20 minutes and in the end we didn't get our table because my husband would come 5 minutes later. He would only take full people to the table - without rhyme or reason! After I said that I didn't want to wait any longer when he came, we were then thrown out. Impossible behavior from the alleged boss, which we cannot believe. A real owner would apologize instead of kicking people out. Totally arrogant and arrogant! Never recommended. It's best to have no star, but you can't do without one on Google.

When we arrived there was a huge line in front of the store. Everyone had reservations. An hour had already passed by the time we were assigned a seat. By the time we finally got our food, 2 hours had already passed, despite having a reservation. In the end they even mistyped our order and wanted double the price from us. The atmosphere and the food were good. But waiting for hours was a disgrace

There were four of us there today. It was very crowded. When we asked, we got the tickets and ordered the food. An order of four was brought. We first waited and then asked if the other food was coming and they said it was in the works. About 30 minutes later the rest came. Two of us ordered sushi. These were then served on a plate. (Each of us ordered for ourselves) We asked the waiter about it and he replied annoyed and unfriendly that we should have said that we wanted two plates. When ordering, should I tell the waiter that I want my own plate? Seriously? We asked for a plate. The waiter disappeared and never came back. Time passed, another waitress walked by, we asked her for a plate, soy sauce and the bowls for it. Time passed again. At some point we had everything. The food was delicious. Thanks to the kitchen. At least something. I could write another text like that about the payment. Service was just bad!!!

Got the card after 15 minutes, left after 30 minutes because no service staff was interested in us even when we asked. So we didn't order any food. When we wanted to leave the restaurant, I brought this up again. There wasn't really any genuine interest there either. The problem is well known internally, but it doesn't matter - apparently enough people are still coming. MMn not a suitable attitude to retain guests in the long term.

We were there in the evening. Packed to capacity. Service only came to our table when we asked. Ramen soup was only lukewarm instead of hot, so nothing was steaming. Had to complain myself. The taste is rather mediocre. Sushi was tasty but nothing special. Very crowded and apparently a trendy restaurant that scores more with its ambience than with its food and service.

Totally exorbitant drink prices. A 0.4l cola costs €5.90, a large beer costs €6.90! At some point it's enough. On the positive side: Great food and very friendly staff. Modern and stylishly furnished. However, due to the unreasonable drink prices, I won't be coming back.

Today the five of us had dinner at Shifudo, which focuses on Vietnamese and Japanese cuisine. I had duck with mango sauce, the others had beef or chicken, the food was very tasty, the others' sauce was slightly spicy, thanks to the chili 😉. My duck was very tasty, the first time with mango sauce, which convinced me, I'll have it again. Otherwise very well furnished, the food was very tastefully prepared, the restaurant was very modern, some said it was a bit cold. I liked it, no frills, no kitsch, I'll be back.

Wir waren das erste mal im Shifudo. Vorab haben wir einen Tisch reserviert, dies war allerdings völlig irrelevant, da man vor Ort willkürlich plaziert wurde. In unserem Fall direkt an der Tür, die ständig auf stand und es eiskalt zog. Die Vorspeise, Dumplings und Frühlingsrollen, schmeckten wie jede TK Packung aus dem Supermarkt. Die Hauptspeise Ramen und Pho Xao waren okay. Der Tofu war ohne jegliche Würze, das Hähnchen leider glibberig. Die Bedienung war immer nett und aufmerksam. Für mich ist das Shifudo leider keinen zweiten Besuch wert.

Pretty decent Sushi and love their drinks. They have a very varying menu of cheaper and more expensive stuff, it's a good place to visit at least a few times. They also have pretty cool VIP rooms that you can book, probably great for birthday events or similar. The people working there are pretty friendly and patient.

Am Essen war nichts auszusetzen, allerdings war es sehr voll und wir haben ca. 70 Min darauf gewartet.

Ich war heute dort zum ersten Mal essen und bin positiv überrascht. Wir kamen rein und wurden direkt freundlich empfangen und zum Platz geführt. Nicht einmal 5 Minuten später haben wir unsere Bestellung aufgegeben, die leider etwas komplizierter war. Trotzdem ist man auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen und so wurden sie auch umgesetzt. Der Kellner ( Toni?) war super freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen war einfach top. Der Lachs total lecker und die salmon bowl einfach ein träumchen. Ich bin ganz bestimmt nicht zum letzten Mal dort gewesen. Liebe Grüße

Schönes Restaurant, Essen war gut, aber die Freundlichkeit und Effektivität der Servicekräfte definitiv verbesserungswürdig!

Gute Auswahl, die Pho und das Com Viet waren ausgezeichnet. 8.50 € für Aperol Spritz und weitere Sorten halten wir für sinnlos überteuert, selbst mitten in Barcelona haben wir max 5.50 € gezahlt und die waren wirklich hervorragend. Dafür ist das Ambiente nicht exklusiv genug. Im ganzen hatten wir deshalb nur zwei Bier und zwei Shots dazu für 53 inklusive Trinkgeld am 23. Dezember 2023.
