Shao Xing (Asia Mongolei) in Mülheim an der Ruhr

Auf keinen Fall dieses Buffetrestaurant besuchen – der schlechteste Service, den ich je erlebt habe! So eine unangenehme Erfahrung in einem Buffetrestaurant hatte ich noch nie. Man bezahlt für das Essen und wird trotzdem ständig gedrängt und respektlos behandelt. Noch bevor wir mit dem Essen fertig waren, kamen die Mitarbeiter bereits, um unsere Teller abzuräumen. Unsere Flasche Wasser war noch nicht leer, trotzdem wurde sie in die Hand genommen und sogar geschüttelt, damit wir sie sofort austrinken. Nachdem wir gegessen hatten, saßen wir noch ganz normal am Tisch und unterhielten uns. Das Personal machte jedoch immer wieder deutlich, dass wir gehen sollten. Am Ende wollten sie sogar unsere Personalausweise sehen – völlig unverständlich und unangemessen. Als wir das Gespräch mit dem Inhaber suchten, reagierte dieser durchgehend gleichgültig und unhöflich. Von Kundenservice war nichts zu spüren. Auch das Essen selbst war höchstens durchschnittlich, die Qualität der Speisen hat uns nicht überzeugt und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt überhaupt nicht. Insgesamt war der Restaurantbesuch sehr unangenehm und enttäuschend. Ich kann dieses Restaurant leider überhaupt nicht empfehlen und werde definitiv nicht wiederkommen.

Wenn nicht eines der besten Chinarestaurants im der Region . Freundlichen und und Sauberkeit wird hier hochgehalten. Sind vom Buffet noch nie enttäuscht worden.

Wir gehen schon sehr lange dort Essen Wir sind jedesmal von der Freundlichkeit des Personals begeistert. Das Essen ist stets frisch und sehr vielfältig. Es wird sofort aufgefüllt wenn mal etwas leer ist. Vom Ambiente her ist es sehr gemütlich und nicht zu laut . Alles in allem ein super Restaurant

Ganz gut, wenn man direkt nach Öffnung kommt ist das Essen am buffet auch noch sehr frisch. Für den Preis mit Getränkeflat gibts kaum was zu meckern. Das frisch gekochte war leider alles sehr vertrocknet und viel zu heiß gegart.. Leider durfte ich meinen mini-Rest vom Teller nicht mitnehmen Kann ja verstehen wenn sich jemand einen riesen Teller mitnehmen lassen wollen würde, aber einen kleinen Rest sollte man erlaubt dürfen..

Gute Qualität zum ansprechenden Preis. Immer gerne wieder genommen.

Wir haben hier mal wieder sehr gut gegessen. 32,--€ pro Person für das All- Inklusive- Buffet inklusive Getränken und einer großen Auswahl ist für einen Ostersonntag mehr als fair. Ich habe wirklich viele Sache probiert. Ich konnte keine geschmacklichen Schwächen feststellen. Alles lecker. Dadurch, dass die Töpfe nur mäßig gefüllt werden, ist sichergestellt, dass man immer frisches Essen bekommt. An ein paar Details muss unbedingt gearbeitet werden. Eine Zange, die dazu dient sich Sushi vom Tablett zu nehmen und die beim Nachfüllen durch das Personal auf den Boden fällt, sollte sofort zum Spülen gebracht werden- auf keinen Fall wieder auf das Buffet. Ein umgekipptest Stück Bienenstich sollte nicht mit den Händen (ohne Handschuhe) wieder aufgerichtet werden. Das sind nur Kleinigkeiten, die uns den Appetit nicht verdorben haben. Insgesamt haben wir knappe 3 Stunden in Ruhe schlemmen dürfen. Das hat Spaß gemacht! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Verglichen mit dem Vorbesitzer hat sich nach meiner Wahrnehmung kaum etwas geändert. Auf einigen Tellern steht noch "Mongolei". Der Schokobrunnen ist auch da wo er immer Stand. Wir hatten wieder das Buffet. An Känguru-Fleisch kann ich mich nicht erinnern, sicher eine Aufwertung des Buffets. Alle Speisen waren frisch zubereitet und in ausreichender Menge vorhanden. Es gibt auch Pommes und Chicken Nuggets, vermutlich für die Kleinen. Der Nachtisch war ebenfalls vielseitig, Kuchen und Obst.

Schlechtester all you can eat in NRW , die kellnerinen bitten einen in regelmässigen abständen an zu gehen. Kam in unseren Aufenthalt 5 mal bei verschiedenen Personen vor. Das essen schmeckt auch nicht besonders

Ich wurde von einer Kellnerin in Ihrem Restaurant auf eine unhöfliche und unangemessene Weise behandelt. Sie hat mich kritisiert, weil ich Schokolade in eine kleine Schüssel mit Obst gegeben habe, obwohl ich deutlich gesehen habe, dass andere Gäste dasselbe gemacht haben und von ihr nichts gesagt bekommen haben. Als ich sie darauf hingewiesen habe, dass auch andere Gäste dies getan haben und sie es gesehen haben muss, hat sie einfach behauptet, sie hätte nur mich gesehen. Das entspricht nicht der Wahrheit. Als ich ihr sagte, dass ich meine Erfahrung online teilen werde, reagierte sie nur spöttisch und sagte, es sei ihr egal. Dieses Verhalten war respektlos und nicht akzeptabel.

Sind Stammkunden hier, seit ca 10 j. Gehen immer wieder gerne hin. Mehrmals Freunde oder Verwandte eingeladen die dann nach dem Essen sich die Adresse eingespeichert haben. Macht weiter so. Alles bestens

Essen ist natürlich auf All You Can Eat ausgerichtet und darunter leidet die Qualität des Essens. Jedoch kann man hier im Lokal auch soviel trinken wie man will und man hat auch eine große Auswahl. Für Familien Feiern ist das der ideale Ort. Die Servicekraft ist auch she freundlich und die Ambiente entspannt.

Mir gefällt es sehr gut, ich kann es nur empfehlen.

Dies ist nicht unser erster Besuch in diesem chinesischen Restaurant, und wir sind jedes Mal begeistert. Das Essen hier ist köstlich, immer frisch, und die Meeresfrüchte sind besonders hervorzuheben – sie sind wirklich exzellent. Alles wird mit viel Liebe zum Detail und Professionalität zubereitet. Das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam und sorgt für eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Besonders schön war es gestern, am Valentinstag, Rosen als Geschenk zu erhalten – das hat dem Abend eine besondere Note verliehen. Wir können dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Uns schmeckt die chinesische Küche hier nicht so gut, und wir suchen immer nach etwas Frischem. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, und alle Gerichte sind sehr schmackhaft. Besonders die Rosen haben uns gefallen – sie sind ebenfalls von sehr hoher Qualität. Die Zubereitung ist auf hohem Niveau, man schmeckt die Frische und Professionalität. Das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam und sorgt für eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Gestern, am Valentinstag, wurden sogar kleine Rosen als Geschenk verteilt – eine sehr schöne und liebevolle Geste. Wir können dieses Restaurant mit Freude weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!

Waren heute das erste Mal da und sehr begeistert. Sehr sauber, schöne Auswahl am Mittag und wirklich sehr nette Mitarbeiter. Für einen sehr fairen Preis kann man wirklich lecker warme und kalte Speisen, Sushi und Süßes essen. War definitiv nicht unser letzter Besuch ☺️❤️

Buffet mit riesiger Auswahl an Speisen

Ein Asia-Lokal, wie es viele gibt. Daher fällt auch ein Vergleich leicht, der hier leider eher Mittelmaß zeigt. Die Speisen sind OK, die Auswahl wie bei allen mehr oder weniger üblich. Es gibt einen mongolischen Grill, meine Leckereien auf dem Teller waren leider verbrannt. Die Tische stehen sehr eng und der Eingangsbereich ist nicht sehr einladend. Hier gibt es zur Auswahl All-you-can-eat mit und ohne Getränke. Der Preis ist noch OK, aber es gibt für diesen Preis ähnliche, bzw. angenehmere Angebote. Sei es von der Lokation oder vom Angebot der Speisen. Parkplätze sind reichlich vorhanden, wenn es aber voll wird, dürfte es auch hier eng werden. Der Service war freundlich, wenn er auch immer sehr im Stress wirkte. Fazit: meine bevorzugten Lokale sind andere.

Das mit Abstand schlechteste Asiafood in NRW ( was ich je probiert habe). Sorry aber das geht überhaupt nicht. Kann man nicht empfehlen schlechte Qualität von Fleisch und Speisen.

I went to Shaolin XING for a family meal. The food was delicious, the staff friendly, and the price was reasonable for our large family. 5 stars from me. We'll definitely be back.

We've been to your place many times now; I recently celebrated my birthday there, and we're coming again with 20 people on Boxing Day. So we're completely satisfied.

Our whole family has been eating there for years and we've NEVER had any complaints. I don't really like eating Chinese/Mongolian food because I once got food poisoning, but I've never had any problems there. We've been going there for a good 10 years. Even when I was pregnant, and still today. The prices and taste are top-notch. The staff (family business) are incredibly sweet and super friendly. Children are also welcome there and don't disturb anyone, even when it's loud. In some cases, they even care for a crying child and look after them, so even the mother can finish her meal in peace! You guys are great 🫶🏻

The food is excellent; dishes prepared on the grill are brought to the table by a robot. The robot 🤖 is a real highlight for the kids. The staff is very friendly.

This is my favorite restaurant in Mülheim. I go there several times a year and sometimes order food for pickup. The buffet is fantastic; it leaves nothing to be desired. The pickup portions are too big to eat in one sitting.

We came here to try it out because we were looking for a location for my birthday. We were thrilled because they have a separate room for small groups of up to 20 people.

It's a truly huge place...wow...but they've still managed to create a great atmosphere. Hats off. And the food is really good...seriously...no complaints. With so many customers, the noise level is incredibly loud, like in a train station...that's understandable, since the place is as big as a train station...you can barely hold a conversation...but you can safely overlook this, because the rest is simply fantastic. Despite the gigantic size of the place, the service is amazingly good. I can recommend it without reservation, if you can tolerate a loud atmosphere.

Yes, I can recommend the place. I'll be hosting my birthday party there with 11 people. A nice restaurant with nice people.

It's nonsense that you have to pay €3 for an 18-month-old child and that you have to buy a drink at the buffet. Especially if you don't want to drink anything with your meal, you're charged a €2 surcharge. You can't swap a large drink you've booked for a small one; the service is unfriendly. No one helps you; you're simply turned away.

A very nice restaurant, with a great buffet and optional grill. The menu selection is very good, and there's a fitness center next door.

(Almost) everything was delicious! But that's a matter of taste... Friendly staff and a well-programmed robot serving. Nice idea. Beautiful ambiance and very clean. A very large selection of drinks. Amazing! The focus of this concept, however, is the buffet, and it impresses with fresh food, always "amply" replenished, clean, and tidy. That's exactly what you want. Overall, I'd happily recommend this restaurant!

For me, it's one of the best here in Mülheim, always consistent quality. I've been eating there often for three years now. The service and everyone who serves there is very nice and friendly. We felt really comfortable and very grateful that it's so good here. A big thank you to everyone.

I'm always happy with the selection and the grill. The food tastes very good. It's all-you-can-eat, but of all the places I've visited, it's one of the best. The robot that brings you the food from the grill is a bit of entertainment. The prices for the flat rate, including drinks, are absolutely fair.

Large selection of different dishes. The sauces are very salty, but that's probably a matter of taste. It was quite loud when we visited. Sushi, selection and taste of the dishes are rather average. The used plates are cleared away quickly. The food prepared on the grill is brought to the table by a robot. The price of food and drink is reasonable.

The food is averagely good and there is now also a drinks flat rate. The atmosphere seems quite old-fashioned. There are better options away from Mülheim.

We have been regular customers at this fantastic Asian-Mongolian restaurant for two years - and for good reason! The dishes are not only incredibly tasty, but also prepared with a lot of love and care. The quality of the ingredients is excellent and the price-performance ratio is perfect, even if the prices have increased slightly. A special highlight is the robot that serves the freshly grilled food - a great experience for the whole family! By far the best Asian restaurant we know. We come with the whole family at least twice a month and look forward to it every time! Absolute recommendation! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Small portions, but they are too expensive

Our favorite buffet Mongolian. Rarely go there for years. The quality has been great for years. Of course it has become more expensive over the years. Still acceptable though. Drinks flat rate is great. Especially since the selection is gigantic. A number of red and white wines, a number of beers, soft drinks, juices, spritzers, fizzy drinks and so on. There is a typical buffet with Chinese dishes, a salad buffet, a sushi buffet, a dessert buffet and of course the Mongolian fresh buffet where you serve your own plate. Dirty plates are picked up from the table very quickly and the service is super nice. My favorite there, the sour-spicy soup, the beef with onions, the spicy chicken...actually everything

30 euros worth of food some were bad such as shrimp. Soup thick and liquid. Some things are too salty. 🍉 tasted like fish

Service best no star at all! The waitress yells at you at your seat because you left two shrimps on your plate. And then people complain when you make a small bowl full of sweets for the children. Unbelievably dirty shop!!!!

I was in this restaurant today and was looking forward to a cozy evening with good food. The selection was okay, the food tasted solid, and the service was initially friendly. However, there was an unpleasant surprise at the end: three minutes before my booked three hours were up, I wasn't brought anything to drink. I understand that there is a time limit, but such a rigid rule seems petty - especially when it's only a matter of a few minutes. A little more goodwill and customer friendliness would have made the evening much more pleasant. It's a shame, because it leaves a bland aftertaste that spoils the otherwise very good impression.

We came together for lunch and ate to our heart's content☺️ everything was very good, for a buffet at its price. Grill - roasting is unsurpassed, tasty, fast. The table is very good. Everyone will find something to their taste. The staff is friendly, a Ukrainian woman works, she is very friendly. They came to us every 20 minutes to ask if everything was fine. Sweet - delicious, everything is fresh. We will come again when we have the opportunity

We've been there twice now. Once at Christmas and then at the beginning of January for a birthday dinner... We reserved a table every time and it worked out great. Food was tasty, fresh and a large selection at the buffet and drinks. We had both all you can eat and drink. We found the little robot that brings the food from the Mongolian grill to the table funny.

Warm dishes are very salty or have a lot of soy sauce. Buffet selection was very good, service was very friendly and it was refilled very quickly. Grill buffet very good, especially the meat. Grill plates are brought by the cat robot. I'd love to come back.

We were there for the first time. A table for 20 people was booked and we received a round table with a rotating table. The idea was very different from what had happened before. Our idea was that everything would be on the rotating plate and everyone could help themselves without disturbing the person sitting next to them. Far from it... Everyone had to keep getting up and walking to the buffet, which meant that you had to keep getting up and making room. It was extremely crowded, long lines at the buffet. Here it would make more sense to expand the buffet area a little. This would mean there would be less seating for guests, but the ambience would then have a better effect on the individual guest. The food was rather sola. Either too spicy, too bland and very greasy. If the meat is basically "bathing" in fat/oil, I don't find it appetizing. What was interesting was the robot that “brought” the freshly prepared meat/fish to the table. The chocolate fountain was nicely done, but placed in a corner where it tends to be overlooked. The service was tried hard, but extremely overwhelmed, but always friendly and accommodating. Very unfavorable for a family celebration/Christmas party.

On Christmas Day there was no other Chinese restaurant in Mülheim a.d.Ruhr. The crowd was overwhelming. By the way, we made reservations without knowing it. We haven't been to this restaurant in a while and wouldn't risk it again. The service was very attentive and friendly, but overwhelmed given the crowds queuing at the buffet.

Food, service and ambience are very good. A free parking space is also available. The service robot is an eye-catcher and the games room is a good idea. Now for the star deduction: In my opinion, the prices for children are overpriced and the time you are allowed to stay in the restaurant is also too short.

For children aged 1-2 years you charge 5 euros where adults go over 30 euros, that's really a disgrace, what does a 1 year old child eat for 5 euros?!!where else do children up to 5 years eat for free.

Large restaurant, food was just ok and also overpriced, elsewhere and smaller restaurants had much better food and cheaper. And now comes the high point: the two of us only ordered something from the menu because we couldn't eat that much. The rest ate all you can eat. We were strictly watched to ensure that we didn't put any crumbs from other people's all-you-can-eat plates into our mouths. People kept walking past us and looking, you just felt like you were being watched the whole time you were eating, like you were in prison or something, I've never eaten like that before. And what I experienced and heard for the first time in this Chinese restaurant is that if you leave too much of the all-you-can-eat on your plate, which you can no longer manage to eat, you will be fined five euros for it pay. For me, all you can eat means that I can and can eat as much as I want and that's it. That's how I knew it everywhere before. But well, it's not enough that I've already paid €30 for it. It was definitely the first time I ate here, but also the last time it was such a bummer.

Very nice restaurant, great food and drinks. My husband and I were there on a public holiday and all the staff were very attentive. The only drawback is that the sauces where you can have something fried yourself are unfortunately like water and hardly tasted like anything else - everything else was super delicious We'll be back

At the all-you-can-eat buffet it is always the case that you go 2-3 times as often as you are hungry. Same here. There is definitely something for Asia lovers, and the dessert is also impressive. If you have something freshly prepared, a robot now brings it to the table. The service staff is quick and courteous.

We have been regular guests there for years, unfortunately a lot has changed for the worse! Starting with the prices, which in my opinion are not justified! No tablecloths, looks like a bar!

The food was good and varied, we now know quite a few restaurants in this category, I personally would put this in the middle segment, what I personally liked was that it wasn't so crowded and you could still have a good conversation. The atmosphere is getting old, or at least that was my impression. What I personally would have enjoyed is a larger selection of food; people are probably too spoiled these days. At least we know it from other restaurants. What I noticed negatively is that Sille water cannot be found in the drinks area. It was only when I asked whether still water was available that I was given a bottle from the counter. This is also easier in the other restaurants. If you feel like it, you can take part in the food rescue at the end of the lunch buffet or the evening buffet using the TooGoodToGo app and take a bowl from the buffet with you for just €6.

The store is not a huge 'food temple' like other stores with this concept. The seating area is a bit angled so that you can eat in peace and not have that cafeteria atmosphere. We've been there twice so far, and each time it was well attended, but not extremely overcrowded. The buffet is a little smaller compared to the competition, but still offers everything you need and, in my opinion, the selection is of a higher quality. You notice this especially when you fry meat and fish. The service is very attentive and extremely friendly. I would definitely recommend the all you can eat with flat rate drinks. On the one hand, it pays off in no time, and on the other hand, there are also one or two treats waiting in the drinks refrigerators 😉.

Well done Chinese! We've been going to this place for 3 years now and have never regretted it. Best buffet in the area.
