An unpleasant place. It turned out that the soup was cooked from unwashed chicken gizzards. When I asked to bring a fork they never brought it but I don't ask a second time, it's humiliating. That is, in the waiter culture, communication occurs mainly through conflict and discrimination against customers.

There's a hustle and bustle here! We were kind enough to get a table after a waiting time of twenty minutes, while others were put off at the outside tables on the sidewalk, which was not an option for us given the first real autumn cold that was setting in. The kitchen and service team - very friendly and cheerful and chaotic. However, you also have to admit that the bear was really moving, there was a constant push of heavily wrapped newcomers past our table, other tables were moved and rearranged, right next to us a hetero couple was able to do their public display of affection (known as PDA) so little We kept ourselves mentally prepared for the sight of coitus on the restaurant table. Too much information. Now about the food. There were only three Asian-looking customers, I read everyone else as white, which from experience is a very bad sign for a Chinese restaurant. The menu was interesting and seemed authentic, in fact everything was not badly cooked. But COMPLETELY over-seasoned, over-salted and fried too crispy. The amounts of soy sauce alone! A side point: It is not Chinese cuisine to mix raw cold bean sprouts into a hot meal. And 13 euros for fried potatoes with caraway seeds (albeit deliciously seasoned and of course almost over-salted) really hurts. So, the mystery remains as to why good kitchen ingredients are drowned and cured in gallons of soy sauce and grains of salt. The all-white clientele didn't seem to mind. Conclusion: Unfortunately not again.

Simply stunning! Great fried chicken!

Very nice reception. I really thought the illustrated menu card was great. Our food came relatively quickly and was delicious. Unfortunately, the noodle soup was too spicy for our standards. There were photos of the dishes on the wall but unfortunately many of them weren't available. At least they said they were only offered in their other two restaurants. It's a shame, we really wanted to try the rice cakes.

Really delicious noodle soups, even without meat. There is an extensive lunch menu, but the prices are absolutely reasonable even on the normal menu, especially with the decently large portions. The Korean Fried Chicken is also extremely tasty.

I dont usually do reviews unless I'm asked but I'm going out of my way to do so because of how bad of an experience I had. Local friends said we would have to wait since it's busy and popping and we were okay with that at first. We were a party of 6 and after about 30 mins of waiting we told the server we were ok with sitting 2 people per table or split 3 and 3 or sitting 4 and 2, we just didn't want wait any longer since it seemed like the table we were waiting to get up so we can be seated were going to sit and talk for a while. They ended up sitting for another 40 mins while the server kept pushing us back saying to wait they're paying and will leave soon. We were seated and another table sat down at the same time right as the big party left. Our drinks were taken promptly and served quick, but something I've never experienced happened to me. The table next to ours asked how cold the beer was (not that cold), so the server asked if he can borrow one of our drinks for a second and let the table next to us touch it to check. We ordered our food and the food was coming out at a good pace. I don't know the name of the noodle dishes we got, but to keep it simple I'll call it noodle A and B. We ordered one noodle A and two noodle B, but we were given two of each. While halfway done noodle A (the dish we got for free) the server comes to us and says he gave it to us by accident and proceeds to take the dish away. I was actually baffled. We ordered 10 dishes, so it's not like we knew and were purposely trying to get a free meal, but I mean what are they going to do with the rest? Throw it away ? After making us wait that long I feel like the least they could do is just let us finish the dish. I give this place 2 stars because the food wasn't bad, but there's a lot of good food in Berlin. Overall I'd recommend just going somewhere unless you're dying to try some Chinese food, but there's other places close by that serve good Chinese food as well.

I ate the delicious eggplant with minced meat for a sensational lunch price of €9. I'm thrilled and will try more dishes.

For the record, the building is made of standard building materials, not actual noodles. As a structural engineer, I personally wouldn't recommend egg and flour based construction methods.

From Monday to Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. you can get a very cheap and delicious meal here for €9 including a small soup or salad. I recommend the M16 (aubergine spicy) and the M13 (rice with ribs). If you like it less spicy, you can also order the M16 milder. The difference between M16 and M10: The M16 contains coarse pieces of pepper and garlic, which gives it a spicy note, while the M10 tastes more sweet.

Ordered spicy beef noodles and Korean fried chicken. tasty! The beef noodles taste like the mainland, with just the right amount of spiciness. Fried chicken is better than Korean.

I have been waiting for a long time to try this restaurant. It's better to book in advance since it usually very busy. I have to say I'm not a big fan of the atmosphere inside, as the dining tables are small and the whole sitting is relatively cramped. The food though, which is what I mainly came for is quite authentic I must say. Real Chinese food served by Chinese chefs. We tried their beef and carrot steamed dumplings and cold chicken with leek and spicy garlic oil. The dumplings together with the dipping sauce is such a delicacy, but I was not a big fan of the chicken, mainly because it was cold and felt a bit gamey. I'm not saying it's bad, but I don't think it's my cup of tea. For the mains we got noodles with pork belly and cabbage, which unfortunately didn't capture us as much as their signature spicy beef noodle soup, which was nothing short of magnificent. The noodle soup was full of thinly sliced tender beef and is spiced to perfection. We ordered another dish to share on the side because why not. Spicy fried pork belly with cabbage and peppers. I absolutely loved this dish, also the portion was very decent, that I almost struggled to finish it which rarely happens. In conclusion if you are after authentic Chinese food, give them a try, but If you are looking for a proper dining restaurant with good ambiance and less loud, then this restaurant won't give you that experience.

great priced asian food. My most favorite is their cucumber salad with garlic. All dishes were good when I tried.

I ordered a large beer, received a small beer, ordered a large beer again, received a lukewarm beer, asked for a cold beer and received the same beer with ice cubes. I gave up and ordered a bottled dark beer and received a nonalcoholic pilsner. Now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, the yuxiang eggplant was drenched in darkened corn syrup or something equally horrifying. Don’t even get me started on their overcooked, bland noodles. I don’t understand the hype for this place but it’s about as good as one of those Vietnamese places that also serves Thai food and sushi.

The best Chinese restaurant that is cheap, delicious, generous, and friendly. The fried eggplant dish is really delicious. I think this is the only Chinese restaurant I've visited frequently for 8 years. The Korean-style seasoned chicken is also top-notch.. The kimchi fried rice is also delicious.

It is a nice restaurant with a selection of Chinese and Korean dishes; the noodles are homemade, and everything we had felt fresh and delicious. We had spicy Wantans, noodles with veggies, and dumplings: everything was delicious! I recommend this place for authentic Chinese cuisine, which is offered at a reasonable price and comes with a friendly service! It’s worth reserving a table as it gets busy in the evening

The menu offers an interesting selection of Asian, especially Korean, dishes. The atmosphere is relaxed, people seem to know each other, neighbors stop by, the boss says "Hello" every now and then.

We love Shaniu's and we always enjoy coming back, even if we no longer live in Berlin. The food is top class and the boss is very friendly. Prices are reasonable.

We were staying at the Max Brown hotel- a little break from home - working & sightseeing- and we stumbled upon this place whilst walking from the U-bahn- looked inviting and authentic. We had frequented a few lovely restaurants in the neighbourhood (a little pricey, good but not blown away) but this little gem was easily our favourite place! Having lived in Beijing- I know a good dumpling when I see it! First night it was raining and thundering, sitting outside- truly tropical- just loved it under the frontage on the street, the people work hard to deliver a great service and the food was superb! But it feels like it’s getting worse every year. The portions are getting smaller and smaller, and the taste is getting heavier and more MSG-based. In addition, Korean dishes are really not delicious, such as Korean bibimbap, which is very wet and only tastes salty. Moreover, Korean fried chicken is not sincere. I have never seen any restaurant that makes Korean fried chicken and charges a separate fee. Alas, I probably won’t come again.

Unfortunately it wasn't mine. Pasta with beef was too fatty for me, or more bacon than meat.

This restaurant combines three cuisines: Szechuan, Cantonese and Korean. There is a good selection of vegetarian options, and people who like fried Korean chicken will be delighted. The home-made noodles are highly recommended and if you are on your own and you want a satisfying meal, have a noodle soup, and you will be happy. For those who cannot eat hot spicy food, beware, you need to ask the service to scale the chillies down in the dishes. Good value for money, extremely fast service and satisfyingly delicious.

This place is tucked away on a quiet street, but it has a nice and cheerful atmosphere. The lunch prices were great and the servers are friendly. Great for solo travelers who have had a long day of walking. Plenty of options to choose from, and lots of really great tea and juice.

It's a noodle restaurant and the noodles are very dry, but it's a restaurant I go to every time I go to Berlin. The eggplant fries are the best, but today they were very hard and not that good, but they are different every time, so I will visit again.

The food was super delicious You can tell that a lot of things here are handmade. Great taste and everything very fresh. Even though it was very busy, the food was on the table quickly. I thought Cola from a glass bottle was great. Thumbs up, it's worth coming here.

The noodle shop is actually on the second floor, but it’s really worth a visit. You must try the very authentic braised beef noodles. I am Chinese and taste just like my mother. Mr Liu is also very friendly. There's plenty of meat too

Arrived, and a guy serving saw me waving and didn't give attention. My wife then sat on a table, and he smiled and came to her. Didn't clean the table. There were cigars on it. Then we ordered and the food was really tasty with their spices and everything. I got the beef noodles and korean fried chicken. I'm a bit disappointed with the quality of the ingredients. Beef looks like cheap cuts of meat. The fried chicken is exactly the same as the one i bought at Go asia stores available over berlin, which is frozen. Dumplings with veg, my wife ordered (she was vegan), was kind of tasteless. Then, at the end, we took a while to pay because they were in a rub all the time, we waving to pay several times and still take a while. After paying, the girl that charged us on card tried to force us for a tip when we asked to split the bill that was 45 euros. I paid 25, and she was already putting 25 euros on the machine without asking. Then i said 20 to charge on my wife card, and she made a really unhappy face like we are in New york refusing tips (what i also dont agree to be forced to give, needs to come naturally by the service quality). To get more tips, improve service quality. The place was packed, so you have room and funds to hire to improve service. Clean the tables after ever customer. I mean, clean the table itself. Not just remove things from it. Higiene. When people arrive, serve them equally. Not just the ones looking "fancy." Don't force tips. You need to deserve it (I always give good tips when to who earn it) Improve ingredients quality ( I cook often, and i can tell the quality easily, and you guys don't have the best in town). The price was reasonable. They were polite, smiling, and quick. The chubby girl was pretty nice (sorry, I don't remember your name) Looks like a family owned place, but i have the impression they don't cook with the same quality that they cook for themselves).

Reservations are not possible, you have to take your chances. The store opened at 12, there aren't that many seats, it filled up quickly. The staff is attentive and friendly. I was able to eat there cheaply, between 12 and 4:30 p.m. you can eat there for €9. The food was okay, not outstanding, I found the crispy chicken very disappointing. Yes, it was crispy but the slice was cut so narrowly that the meat was saved! 10% meat, 90% breadcrumbs. I paid €12.50. The tea was fresh, made with loose leaves, card payment is possible from €10. There are no parking spaces, so it's best to come by public transport or on foot. The toilet was at ground level and clean.

The cucumber salad for the starter is bomb! The food my 3 colleagues ate was delicious. But both mine, bibimbap and my colleague's vegetable soup were a little bland. Unfortunately, the bibimbap wasn't quite as tasty - it came on a hot stone and the egg was too hard.

We had dinner at this restaurant today. The indoor seating capacity is limited , however was lucky to get a table outside . There are heaters and blankets for tables outdoors, however table reservation is recommended as it gets quite busy . We tried Aubergine with minced pork and rice - this was recommended in many reviews , however it tasted just a decent dish for our Indian palate . We didn't mind the spice levels but definitely a Super oily stuff . 4/5 Koren fried chicken - 4.5/5 Tan tan noodles - 3.5/5 it had no meat and less vegetables,taste was pretty bland . The servers were nice and efficient in their job. Couple of them understand little english. The portions as large though. Will visit again. Edit : I had lunch menu twice from here. The mapo tofu(vegetarian) had lot of tofu but less soy mince . The kung pao chicken was decent . The sweet and sour soup is extremely concentrated (plus contains chicken not mentioned in menu as non vegetarian dish, so vegetarians should watch out).

Rarely eaten such limp meat (chicken) in fried noodles with vegetables and chicken. Staff completely overwhelmed and stressed at lunchtime. Neither the soup nor the above-mentioned main course were anything like what you are used to in other restaurants (even “to go” stalls). Once and never again

I ate something there with colleagues after work and it was delicious! We sat outside as the weather was pleasant. We had 3 starters together, all of which were delicious, and then S5-S7 and another dish. I had S7 with ground beef and hot sauce and it was insanely spicy. It was still very tasty. Rarely have I had such a well-seasoned meal. With drinks we came to €26 per person I can highly recommend!

Do I really have to write a review here? The shop can hardly save itself from its fans; long queues are already forming in front of the door of Shanius House of Noodles in the late afternoon. It's a Chinese restaurant with a difference: simple noodle dishes, soups, dumplings or "Ayi home cooking": rice with pork and cabbage, down-to-earth Chinese folk cuisine, just like it's prepared millions of times in Chinese households every day. There are also delicious Korean items on the menu, such as fried chicken or kimchi.

We were here for the first time today and we were more than thrilled with the food! We all really enjoyed it as it was very spicy. The cucumber salad and the fried chicken are highly recommended. The service is attentive and explains the dishes well. We weren't very familiar with Korean cuisine and were unsure about the dishes. We were happy with our selection. The ambience could be a bit more comfortable, but it didn't detract from the surroundings. We also got a parking space in front of the restaurant. We are satisfied and would like to come back ☺️

There are a lot of people here in the evening. So I visited at lunchtime when there weren't many people. You can experience the hot taste. Even if you choose level 1, it is very spicy. it's good.

Food was among the best China dishes in Berlin. Service was exemplary. I did feel like home. Waitress are all smiles, and they look and observe. When you need something just look at them, they come instantly. I will come again, thats for sure!!! Update: Been there for 7th time, and still all five stars!! Taste hole really great. I haven't tried many things, but the few things I always order taste great. But the waiters need to listen better. For the second time I was given the wrong food even though I have now made it very clear what I would like. Recently I received the wrong soup again, which I didn't like.

The dishes are ambitiously authentic, but moderately to poorly cooked, and the ingredients are of very poor quality. At least compared to the quality of the dishes in China. The ambience is dingy, loud and cramped, without any corresponding charm.

What particularly impressed me was the price-performance ratio. For €18 (tip included) I got the morel salad and the pasta with marinated pork belly. The former was very good, I haven't had anything like it anywhere else! Unfortunately, the noodles were a bit overcooked and there was hardly any sauce, plus it tasted almost like nothing. However, the marinated egg and pork belly were good and not what we expected at €11 each. It was very busy and I decided to sit outside, I was greeted and served very friendly and the atmosphere was very nice. It's a shame that the main course couldn't pick me up - I'm afraid I won't be taking the long journey anymore.

Food was literally amazing. 10000/10. Had the minced meat with eggplant and even though i was not sure when i ordered it, it was so amazing. The meat was soft, the eggplant crunchy and the sour sauce amazing and added just the right flavor. Nothing like I ever ate before. It was an entire new flavor for me. The price was also just 9€ for the meal and it left me incredibly full and satisfied. Will definitely visit again
