Shaka Burgerhouse in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

I can only recommend this shop, I go there regularly with my girlfriend and have never been disappointed. Absolutely good value for money, burgers are always good!

The food is now a disgrace. Fries not cooked through, food burnt, burger just doesn't taste like anything and on top of that the prices. The service was very nice and helpful.

Great 🍔. Always new creations. There is something for everyone. The vegetarian burger is also highly recommended. We come by there regularly when we come from Innsbruck. I find it a bit dark in the guest room.

We really liked the industrial style in the interior. The burgers were also delicious. We didn't know the French fries seasoning in that form yet. Was very tasty. A small disappointment: We seemed to have been there for the shift change in service. Empty glasses were skillfully ignored and it wasn't really possible to respond, so you went home "thirsty".

It is very good for dinner with friends and family. They have a lot of healthy chicken burgers and a very good salad plate, with friendly staff and fast service.

The “leftovers” of the Halloween party from the night before were still visible. We had to wait 40 minutes for our burgers and then they were lukewarm.

The Shaka Burgerhouse was nicely decorated and the service was okay. The taste of the burger wasn't even average. If you go to a “burger house”, the name should say it all. I don't write reviews very often, but here I just felt sorry for the money afterwards. I'm sorry to write like that, everyone can of course have their own experiences, but I won't visit this restaurant again.

The burger was ok but I've eaten much better. Fries are really good for that. Unfortunately, drinks are far too expensive at €7, so just order them without them. The ambience was really bad in the Halloween theme and the floor looked like the forest. So the visit there was literally a “slip”. Waitress was quite nice.

The sweet potato fries and the normal ones were really good, hence the three stars for the meal. The pattie didn't taste good and the bun was too thick so it was difficult to eat. In addition, the burger was no longer completely warm. The ambience was a bit off-putting due to the Halloween decorations, which is of course a matter of taste. The floor was full of leaves that were supposed to match the ambience, but it made it very slippery.

Put everything together optimally if you want. Nice service. Very tasty food. Without reservation at a good price.

The restaurant was very full, but we were able to get a table for two. We had a chicken burger and a Cesar salad, both very tasty and plentiful. We had the fries packed up. There is a star deduction for the really uncomfortable stools! How are you supposed to sit comfortably on it if you weigh more than 40kg? Completely undersized.

Food tastes good We waited a bit but it was worth it.

There was one waiter looking after the whole place and he did an awesome job. We didn’t wait for one thing. And then you get a very big quantity of food.

Both the food and the atmosphere are great but the service was a bit slow. They definitely made up for it with the perfection of the burger though, the sauce that they use is absolutely heavenly.

Best burger in town, the ladies serving us were very very kind.

They gave us the wrong order at the restaurant and when we asked them to change it they said that the other burger was not available that's why they have given this one. I am sure that was a lie. They should have at least informed us about the same. The burgers are decent. However customer service is not good at all.

We had ordered food, then at the hotel we noticed that half of it was missing, we had paid for the entire order. After calling the restaurant, they said that they had forgotten to give the rest and that we should come back. We wanted our food remade as it was clearly a mistake on the part of the restaurant and over 30 minutes had already passed. Then you said it was kept warm. As expected, after more than 45 minutes of sitting around, the food was anything but tasty. At least the fries should have been made fresh if you forget to give them to the customer and the customer then has to drive back to the restaurant. Even the burgers were no longer tasty after such a long time. Price performance doesn't match, customer service unfortunately a disaster.

We were there shortly after opening. Unfortunately our expectations were not met. Little selection and fries are also better. Burgers were okay, but you can get better elsewhere.

Every time I come to visit GAP I come here for a good burger. This time I came with my husband and my dog, it was important for us to find a place where we can have dinner and be allowed with our dog. The food was amazing and ordering was fast and uncomplicated. We ordered through the QR Code which was very easy. The Staff was very friendly as well. Thank you!

Service rude! We ate there on September 2nd. We sat down at a free table. A waitress came with drinks, but since we had just arrived, they were of course not ours. The lady spilled the drink and the glass broke. She brought towels and asked me if I got wet and I said yes and then asked her where the bathroom was. I went into the bathroom and freshened up. A friend of ours was looking for a new table at the same time because the waitress said this to us. We sat at another table and another waitress came to take our order. After several minutes the lady who spilled the glass didn't come, we asked our colleague if she could help with cleaning. She then tells her colleague. Now I asked about the possibility of what we could do about the clothes that were wet and smelled of beer. Now it started she offered to wash the clothes now, I could take off my pants, she had enough on hand, pay for the cleaning, they don't do that. All of this in a tone that was not polite to me. She then disappeared. A colleague came and brought the drink and offered to make amends. The waitress came back and said yes, we can do the cleaning, but it's not usual and happens all the time. I said OK, that's all I wanted. Not more. Before that they were just very (certainly also due to the effect). She then flipped me off and said that everything should be on the cleaning bill, she didn't want to be taken for a ride. The feeling of eating and the taste were over after this really not nice human confrontation. For me it was the most unpleasant visit to a restaurant so far.

Unbelievable service! We came there to enjoy nice food. We just sit down and one waitress came with drinks that we didn’t order to us and just split them, what can happen. She ask if I am wet and obviously I was. After I just the bathroom she didn’t reach out to us so we ask a colleague above the situation and she send the waitress back. She was really impolite, told me she can wash the stuff now, I can wear a trousers from the stuff. She can’t refund washing costs. Also she showed an impolite gesture and told us she doesn’t want to be fooled be us. Never again ! Worst service I had till now in my life !

A good place to eat a burger in Garmish. They have a variety and variety of beers, like a good German restaurant. Recommendable to eat a quality burger.

Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience during our visit. The restaurant is absolutely baby-unfriendly. There is no changing facility in the toilet, which in itself is very inconvenient. When we were forced to change our baby on the edge of the restaurant, we were insulted by the wait staff and told to stop. The comment that we can't breastfeed and change diapers where people eat was simply inappropriate. It was even suggested to us that we could put our baby on the grill straight away. We never expected such an outrageous and disrespectful reaction. Parents with small children should definitely avoid this restaurant.

After an eventful day, we had dinner at Shaka yesterday. When it comes to burgers, we are very spoiled. The Shaka was able to meet our requirements. The buns were of very good quality, the patties were great. The burgers were well put together and tasted harmonious. We also liked the iced tea. The specially ordered side dishes such as sweet potato fries, fries and potato wedges were also delicious. The dessert was okay but a lot compared to the main course. A clear recommendation from me for anyone who would like to eat burgers.

We spontaneously ate at Shaka Burgerhouse during our vacation. We really liked the atmosphere. The staff were very attentive and we enjoyed the food very much.

Very tasty chicken burger with fries for dinner. Despite the rain, I sat outside under the canopy, nice fresh air and dry...a special atmosphere. I ordered the Porto Pollo chicken burger with mozzarella and well-seasoned fries...both of which were exactly my taste. The service was good and very friendly. Due to the weather, there were two other tables occupied outside with me. Because it took a long time for the service to come outside again (after my meal, which was all in good time), I used the QR code on the table to order my coffee and ordered it online …😉…the coffee arrived very quickly…😎🔝 I have a recommendation and on my next visit to Garmisch Partenkirchen I will eat a delicious burger here again 😃…Thank you

Excellent burgers, cooked medium rare. Unfortunately, the wheat-free buns were no longer plain as in the previous reviews and photos, but with sesame. Fries are fried in the same oil as breaded foods. Therefore not or only partially suitable for allergy sufferers. A big plus for us, however, was that our waitress was familiar with it and was able to make recommendations accordingly.

We chose the place after a positive answer to the question of whether they have wifi. They have, but not working, as we found out after the mallow. They say it's normal. Ok, I don't deal with that, but I do with the arrogant and rude waiter. Reluctant to order, rude to help and advise, so he says we should read the menu before we order. The attendant will probably only come to the garden if he gets lost. Shame. The waiter still tried to get a tip from me. NO MORE!!!

This restaurant is criminal. They charge €3.50 per glass for TAP WATER. It was delivered to the table in a glass. When I asked for the bottle, it was told it doesn’t come from the bottle it comes from the tap. Then when I questioned how they can get away with charging €3.50 What for tapwater, they said that their boss told them they had to charge it. And they don’t have a choice or they will get in trouble. I have no problem paying for a bottle of water but when they’re charging you for water from the tap, that’s plain criminal.

All burger sandwiches are halal and delicious. I advise you to go for the bacon burger. If you are a group there is no need to order each one of them with large fries. There are 5 of us and two orders of 3 and that is enough.

The Burgerhouse was well attended, so we decided to visit it during our stay in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. We weren't disappointed, we had a solid cheese burger and a good Philly steak sandwich with fries. Both tasted very good and the drinks were also delicious. The only downside to this restaurant is its location on a main road that is very busy.

Given his high rating, we went to him and ordered a burger. The presentation was beautiful and the service was fast, but I did not like the burger. The meat was rubbery and the bread had no taste. We ordered the second type on the menu. They advised us that I don't know what it is called, but we asked for the bacon to be removed. The price for the burger was only 11 euros and more. It was very expensive for its taste. We got 3 burgers with drinks for 47 euros. The sessions are nice outside and inside, and there is a bathroom and a network account 👍🏻.

We ordered 2 mojitos for €8 each using the QR code at the table outside. When the drinks came and we wanted to pay directly, the waiter asked for €23, saying Happy Hour prices only apply from 11 p.m. I showed him the online order for €8, but he wasn't interested. The alleged boss who was called also immediately attacked us and insisted on the €7 additional cost, even though an innkeeper is obliged to stick to the advertised prices.

My family visited this place twice during our week in Garmisch as we loved the laid back vibe and great menu with something for everyone. We originally went as they were showing the Euros final. It was a great atmosphere and despite being extremely busy, the staff were super efficient and friendly. Highly recommend the Megan Vegan burger (I’m not vegan but fancied a change) it was delicious and also the steak sandwich. Lovely succulent beef strips Philadelphia style - really great! They have a great cocktail menu and an impressive bar selection to choose from.

We ate here during the day. There are very good vegetarian burgers here and three different ones. The taste is outstanding and the selection is large. The fries are probably homemade. One of the kids said they were the best fries in the world. The male waiter was very friendly. The boss came by briefly. Great guy. Overall a very good experience and had a lovely time. We will come back when we are in Garmisch. Thanks for the great offer!

We have returned. Because of the weather we sat outside. The benches are very close together so that you sit back to back with the person behind you. Depending on who is serving you, the friendliness varies. The fries were very tasty.

I always enjoy coming here. In previous years and in June I was there to eat, drink and watch the EM. Staff nice and also chats with the guests. Burgers are very tasty. I never waited long for the service to come. I'll be coming back to you in September and I'm really looking forward to it. :-) Chairs or benches with backrests would be great in your soccer garden.

We were guests at Shaka Burgerhouse for the first time. The ambience was good and to our surprise, there was live music. Burger buns are available gluten-free. This was very well received. The service staff was very nice. The food tasted very good. I highly recommend it.
