SFIZIO in Dresden

Unfortunately, I can't understand the enthusiasm of many reviews. The food came quickly and looked excellent, but my wife's truffle pasta was unbalanced and overly greasy, kind of bland. My guess is that truffle oil was used primarily instead of fresh truffles. I had a calzone. The dough was crispy and delicious, but I never knew there could be too much filling in a calzone. I had the impression that a whole package of ham had simply been baked. The olives, which were also plentiful, were unfortunately completely tasteless. I was also surprised by the excessive use of burrata in every other dish. Overall, I have the impression that the dishes are intended to be Instagrammable, i.e. they are primarily designed for appearance, while the quality and taste are mediocre. The food was simply overpriced for this service.

Nice small and cozy restaurant. My daughter and I had not made a reservation but were still able to sit at a table. Service was smooth and friendly. The food was prepared quickly and was delicious. The edge of the pizza was especially delicious. In short, excellent and not expensive. €39 total for 2 people.

We were in this cafe, wanted to order a pizza, but it was made from 12:00. I ordered a coffee, but I couldn't pay by card, and I didn't have any cash with me. Why, a sincere and pleasant lady, treated me to coffee! It was very nice! Thank you!🔥🔥🔥 I brought the money later!👍🏻

Exceptionally good food, which lives up to its reputation as the best pizza in Dresden. It tastes very authentic and the drinking chocolate is extremely good. I'd love to come back.

The pasta wasn't as tasty as I expected. I should have had pizza instead! There are more people ordering pizza at restaurants. The noodles seemed a bit undercooked and the surrounding toppings were not edible. There aren't many places to eat nearby, so I went to a restaurant that had many recommendations, but the taste was average.

Good food, but waitress wasn’t that nice as I expect

It started off well because since we had made a reservation, other guests were pressured to pay and leave the restaurant, which was super uncomfortable for us. Ordering was quick, but they didn't take any time for us and it felt more like mass processing. My Pizza Tricolore was fluffy and the crust was also great with the good olive oil. My friend's pizza bianche was okay, but the mushy, pickled porcini mushrooms were disappointing - unacceptable at over €15. The homemade lemonade tasted good, but it definitely wasn't 0.5 liters. The tiramisu for just under €8 was small, dry, barely cooked through, and the ladyfingers were still crunchy with sugar and there was no decoration on it - so it's absolutely not worth the price. The restaurant was cramped and played pop music, which didn't add to the Italian ambience. The waitresses weren't very attentive either. Conclusion: The pizza itself was great, but fresh ingredients are a must for this price. The rest still needs to be worked on properly as described.

We were in Dresden for a long weekend and came across this restaurant by chance. In fact, we ended up here every 3 days. Super delicious food, whether pizza, bruschetta or pasta. The special pizzas were also very good! Atmosphere small and cozy, staff very, very friendly! We felt very comfortable and will definitely come here again next time we visit Dresden!

The only thing I would change is the waiters, especially those who manage the service, they give you the feeling of eating with someone who is breathing down your neck! Little flexibility with the timetable! I wanted to order a beer, but my order was denied because my time limit had expired. In the end I felt like I had been sent home!

We were guests with a group, unfortunately the service and the food were not convincing. In my opinion there is no relationship between price and performance. Unfortunately, the truffle pasta tasted very artificial and unfortunately not real. We had to wait a very long time for our waiter. At the end we wanted dessert, unfortunately our time was up and other guests would be waiting. At this point, half of the place was empty. They tried to treat us to a quick coffee or a nightcap. Unfortunately very sad.

Es wurde sich bemüht spontan noch einen Tisch ohne Resvierung im netten aber eher engen Gastraum zu ermöglichen. Das Essen von der vielfältigen Karte kam schnell und war auch lecker, wenn auch nicht ausgezeichnet, Reste mitnehmen ging ohne Probleme. Der Service war freundlich und zufriedenstellend, wenn auch nicht hervorragend. Allem in allem ein empfehlenswertes italienisches Restaurant wenn man nicht übermäßig hohe Ansprüche hat.

Unfortunately, I didn't like the Vegetaria pizza or the side salad. The pizza had very little toppings for your 15.90 euros and the few vegetables had little taste. The salad consisted only of bitter lettuce with a few cherry tomatoes. The cappuccino was very good, but at 5.00 euros it was also overpriced. Unfortunately I can't recommend it.

Grabbed some mulled wine when walking on nightly Dresden streets, was cheapest one we tried that night only 3 euro’s and most tastiest of the night also. The girl which was pouring the wine was very nice and helpfull.

The worst pasta I’ve ever had. We were hungry and tired from the road, so we decided to stop at this place. We ordered three pastas. First of all, the portions were small and barely sprinkled with cheese. The sauce — both the carbonara and the Bolognese — was awful. We asked for the bill but had to wait for ages until we started complaining, and only then the waiter processed the bill without giving us a receipt. Fine, whatever. I absolutely do not recommend this place. Two beers, a juice, two pastas, and one kids’ meal cost us 47 euros. For this price, you can get food of much better quality.

Nice italian restaurant with neapolitan style pizza. We had a margarita pizza, which was very close to the original from Napoli and a carbonara. They were both very good. The service was quick but a bit stressful because the place was full and the tables were very close the one to the other. The tiramisu in the end was very good also.

I really liked the Christmas atmosphere on the terrace, great music and delicious mulled wine!!! As for the food in the restaurant, we expected slightly better tastes. We ordered pasta carbonara and bolognese. Portions are nice and big!

Portion was way too small hand sized pizza for 15€ wasn't worth it at all I wanted to drive my car into the window and the pizza was ok but so much too small for 15€

The worst experience we have ever had in our life at this restaurant. We went with our friends and young children. The owner was the rudest person I have ever seen. Zero respect for the customer we were yelled at for asking a question we didn't know about how to order wine, the owner came to the table aggressively making a scene at us in front of the small children and when we said we were not seated and got up to leave they made rude gestures to us. Rude and unacceptable away!

As a half-Italian from Swabia (large proportion Italian), I have been living in Dresden for four years now. Unfortunately, you won't find that many real Italian restaurants here. They are mostly chains run by American investors. Nevertheless, the food can of course be good! But I also need the typical Italian ambience to eat well. At Sfizio I had that the moment I walked through the door. During the meal itself, which was very good by the way, I briefly forgot that I was sitting in the middle of a city. The interior, the service, the food, everything was just right. We'll definitely come back more often now 😁 keep it up 👌 Greetings from the Baum family

Small, casual Italian restaurant with very good, fast service. The interior dining area is quite small and lacks a bit of ventilation. Portions are quite large and tasty. The menu primarily consists of pizzas and pastas.

In the evening, I suddenly wanted pizza so much that I went to the restaurant I had found in advance. The pizza was delicious, and the carbonara was also delicious!! The staff responded kindly, so I had a happy dinner and went back to my accommodation!

Small restaurant but very tasty

Pizza is very good, I can't complain, unfortunately the tiramisu was sad. Unsuitable for a reserved table for 6 people, you sit like a sardine in a draft.

I to come here from time to time to get pizza even though it’s quite a touristy place. Today’s pizza really disappointed me though. A pizza for 15 euros should not taste bitter and burnt, but mine did.

We ordered two pizzas, they were amazing. One of the best’s pizzas I ever eaten. Dough was airy and soft, good tomatoe sauce, just enough of ingredients. Our friend had a pasta, she said it was good. We also tried Tiramisu. Biscuits were beautifully soaked in liqueur and coffee, I only wish there was more cream between biscuits layers. Worth the money!

Visited, waited to order, waited and waited some more. First the positive: The pizza was quite good and tasted good, but the crust was a bit too thick. It may be thick, but in my opinion it's a bit too much here. In addition, the drinks were nicely served and there were warm blankets, even though it was very cold you could still sit outside. Nevertheless, unfortunately the negative points outweigh the negative points for me. First we had to dig into a cellar so that we could order anything after 15 minutes. We then had to wait almost an hour for the pizzas to arrive. From my point of view at 5 degrees it's unreasonable. And I wouldn't be writing a review if this wasn't the first thing. This has happened several times. The cellars were also very rough and seemed stressed. From my current experience, I would say I like to go there for the food, but it's unreasonable to wait almost 1½ hours for food and it's not worth visiting this restaurant in the future. If you are unable to serve so many tables that all waiting times are normal, then as a restaurant operator you should also provide fewer tables, that just shows me that profit is more important than the well-being of the customer. Too bad

Pizza was mediocre. Pizza base was very burnt. Ambiance was ok but not great. You had the feeling that the employees in the restaurant didn't really care what the customers wanted. I can't share the absolutely great rating.
