Very unfriendly staff. Intentionally abysmal behavior

Two Chinese and three gambling addicts, Serways used to be a kind of buffet, now a rancid German version of a kapsalon with half cold bratwurst, in short, drive on unless norit, rennie and detol are well-known brands.

Only 1 comment, no place to park. Some trucks are parked across the car parking spaces. That's really not possible!

Only two toilets usable. Two defective. No magazines. Kitchen only open for a few hours. Staff very friendly.

On our return journey on May 4, 2025 we had to take a break at this rest stop. We have never been so disappointed with service, cleanliness, prices!! Going to the toilet was impossible due to total overcrowding, the petrol prices (which are falling everywhere) were totally overpriced and the sight of the overflowing wastebasket was disgusting! It can't work like that - everyone just wants “our best” - our money!!! But not in this way!!

The "restaurant" was closed due to staff shortages. (30-04-2025) hard rolls are available for the main prize. I continued driving with screeching tires after my 45-minute break.

The sanitary services are good, the staff is friendly and when there are no buses that stopped, the waiting times are short.

Dear Germans, you are not ashamed of such parking lots - everything is littered with garbage, the stench of urine is impossible... It is clear that the drivers are pissing, but everything is simple, make the toilet free! Clean up the territory of the gas station and parking lot, you love it so much!

From 4 p.m. the kitchen is probably closed earlier despite the posted opening times of 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Good Friday 7:40 a.m Incredibly negative experience at the rest stop. We were shouted at loudly by the lady, so that the customer next to us also shook her head and then started talking to us. We just asked for a large lid for the coffee mug. After the employee said no, there was a small discussion about the fact that someone could give a hint about it. Logically, you would expect a to-go cup to have a lid so that the coffee doesn't spill out of the cup during the journey? According to the lady, there are no large coffee lids per se and in her words it would be “our business if we wanted one”. Now, out of interest, we looked at the reviews and saw photos with large coffee lids. Are these simply gone or are there actually none? This is just about the principle and the way of dealing with customers, as well as the waste of coffee, because due to time constraints you can't wait until you drink it at the rest stop. @Alicia K. The young man at the checkout today was the friendliest rest stop employee we had dealt with in a long time! If everyone were like that... One star deducted because some of the toilets were without toilet paper... something like that shouldn't happen at a rest stop!!

Kitchen closes at 8:30 am. Bock sausage with a chewy bun for €5.50. Unfortunately, this is not the only serway that is more closed than open. Service is friendly, but that doesn't make you hungry

08/04 22:38 shower closed due to employee laziness, after all the bathrooms are dirty. In addition to charging €4, the employees say it is broken just so they don't have to do the work of cleaning it.

Unfortunately it's pretty trashed. Gastronomy and the associated service is terrible. Wouldn't stop here again.

Everything is fine and dandy, but to take a shower you need a 20 euro deposit. It's no use explaining to the guy behind the cash register that I'm using a card. Tables not clean, coffee from fully automatic coffee machine very watery - not better even after complaining the third time. Staff want to pass it on. No porcelain cup for XXL cocoa, although size offered; Cup therefore overflowed.

Maybe it's the holiday season, but it was off-putting. Half of the restaurant, including the games corner, cordoned off and dark. Overall cold if you weren't sitting directly by the heater at Burger King. The ordering columns at Burger King are covered with blue tarpaulin. Two of three Sanifair machines are defective. The last one doesn't take a card. Overall scary atmosphere.

Lots of parking spaces available. Gas station with shop and two gastro shops. You can get basically everything you need on your car journey. Toilet was very clean, you can't complain about that.

The guest room has been renovated, but nothing else has changed. 20 euros deposit for the key to the shower, no money without a key. North Sea closed and a bowl of fries with a bit of nonsense on top for 10 - 13 euros. No thanks. Then it's better to scrape the rest out of the fridge.

It's a pretty clean rest stop and makes an inviting impression, but when you come in you're hit by a shock. Apparently you can only get warm meals here from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., which is an absolute disgrace for truck drivers and travelers who stop for longer. Plus, of course, like at every T&R, completely exorbitant prices and on top of that 1! only employee who has to take care of the customers. In my opinion, something like this shouldn't be allowed to be called a rest stop... The other side was even completely closed last week, absolutely sad.

The rest stop not only has a cool and funny name, but also impresses in every way! We stopped along the way and had a great time. The staff were very friendly, the toilets were clean and spacious - perfect for a relaxing break. Absolutely recommended!

The food there is very good and doesn't cost much, toilets are clean. It would be 5 stars if the staff were a little more attentive, we had to wait 10 minutes until an employee served us even though there was no one in front of us.
