Serways Raststätte Lorsch West in Lorsch

It was during the morning when we were there. We didn't eat there but we had to use the toilets. They were very clean and had enough toilet paper.

Break with women's parking spaces

I went to the toilet, it was quite clean.

This is where I found available seats on a late Friday night. Grocery stores nearby. But unfortunately, neither in the parking lot nor in the city, surrounded by 10 km, is it possible to wash things.

I really liked the Serways truck stop Lorsch West. I stopped here on the way back from Hamburg to Merzig. Everything is there. Clean toilets, was able to refuel and eat a little something and, above all, drink a large, good coffee. I was also able to stretch my legs a bit since the weather was right and, above all, it wasn't raining, and I was able to get a lot of fresh air. 😉

Clean toilet, clean shower. The parking lot is packed as usual on weekends.

I've come by there many times, everything is standard and in order.

A place that works well as a quick stop for those on the go. You can eat and drink something with some comfort.

Excellent parking space for a stop, enjoyed a delicious ice cream on the outside terrace.

As usual, the prices were very high, at least the advertising on the urinals was broken and so I didn't feel so stupid about having to pay €1 for urinating

Very clean, fast service at the checkout and restaurant. Friendly staff.

Gasoline was very pricey. Had some coffee inside. Not very special. Toilets were fine and the costs are reimbursed through a good receipt.

Paying €2.20 for diesel is really crazy!!!!! I paid €1.48 in Berlin where we left and that was in the capital of Germany.

Good parking, there is a REWE store nearby, there is access to the city

Nice place, lots of action. There is a shower for four euros, parking for cars is small, there is enough space for trucks

It may be good in and of itself, but the sanitary facilities are the absolute worst. Starting with the fact that one of the payment machines doesn't work, but the second person swallows the money and doesn't issue a ticket. If you're lucky, there's toilet paper available, but 2 of the 3 toilets are blocked. Things don't look any better at the sink...a halfway usable stream of water only comes from one tap, the other just trickles away. Conclusion: A no-go for a name like “Sanifair”... Only stop there if I absolutely have to.

there's no point in stopping, the men's room only has 3 trash cans, mostly full, you have to wait, only one of the 3 sinks works, you have to pray for soap, maybe you can tell the season in the one with soap, the other one is empty. the toilet disaster. and the coffee machine doesn't read contactless cards, you just have to talk to the staff to get a coffee, but they also seemed to mind that you wanted a coffee as they had something else to do.

Here it's better to go to Bürger King because everything in the shop is very expensive. It's a shame that you can't sit behind the building because it's very loud to sit outside at the front! Maybe as a little tip for the owners! Otherwise very nice staff and very clean!

You can see Serway's monopoly position: grossly overpriced, bad food. Unfortunately there is no alternative on German motorways.

They cut the sights, steal fuel

Looks renovated recently. But it's a shame that the Burger King was closed shortly before 11 p.m. (until midnight would have been good). Where something more normal prices would be for a motorway rest stop.

The Coffee Fellows there is really great, very friendly staff who responded very well to customer requests. And the best thing was they even had everything that was on the menu :) we'll come back there on the next trip :)

Terrible toilets, despite a 1 euro fee

Despite a service charge of one euro, the toilet paper was empty. Only one Sanifer voucher was accepted; for the other one I would have had to buy another coffee. For me this is now a complete rip-off.

A bit too few toilets for men. More parking would be needed for such a large parking lot. Other than that, great. I recommend.

We, a group of key technical experts and a manager, had to make an emergency stop here because some of our colleagues had missed their usual feeding time because the Burger King in Heiligenroth was being renovated. Otherwise we would have eaten something there and not missed the traffic jam at the Frankfurt Triangle. But we refrained from the obligatory €1 pee.

Not special, a normal rest stop

There is everything you need on a trip here.

Indoor playground with a play house and outdoor playground with slide. The indoor playhouse was very clean and had a marble maze as the only game.

I have to honestly say that I felt very comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rest stop invites you to take a break and with its wide range of food and drinks you won't be able to continue driving on an empty stomach. I was also pleasantly surprised by the children's playground, which was very clean and suitable for smaller children. The toilet and washroom are very clean. But when the weather is nicer, the terrace can't be beaten. All in all TOP!!!

Going to the toilet 1 euro. Well, the usual ones. But the service at the coffee counter was nice, although I suspected that the espresso came from a push-button machine. Therefore a point deducted.

On March 9th I called this rest stop because we had forgotten a backpack with important documents the evening before. The lady on the phone was super busy and said the office was closed and we couldn't check until the next day. I explained that as a family with 2 small kids we needed these documents (and the backpack) and that we were already in the Black Forest and couldn't go any further... She promised me that she would make a few phone calls and get in touch because she was mine recognized need. A little later she called and said that a backpack had been found...my husband set off the 3 hours to the rest stop. I am so grateful that the backpack was found and big THANKS to the lady who was on duty that day and took care of it!! That was great on a human level!! Especially since she was stressed anyway... As I said, thank you very much!!

The food they serve is very limited, I can prepare the same food in my caravan, Burger King is closed, the toilets are broken, and the container toilets are a complete disgrace...!

Staff (Asian) have a coffee chat while customers wait in line. At €10.99 for a currywurst with fries, I'd rather stay hungry, especially since the bratwurst at 4:30 p.m. looked like it had been on display since the morning. BURGER King closed. My conclusion: Tank und Rast unfortunately has a monopoly on motorway service stations, so in the future I'll drive to the nearest industrial area and have a pizza delivered to the truck

Definitely the female Manager was very helpful. I had a situation with my vehicle, and she went the extra mile to help me

One like a thousand others, but here you get a sandwich that was sold at a 50% discount the day after the expiration date. The taste of the tuna was particularly good 🙉

The men's toilet was broken, so I was only able to go into the completely overcrowded women's toilet. To see long-distance drivers washing etc. And all for 1 euro.

Very clean shower and toilet station too. Very pleasant and smiling staff speaking a little French. Thank you for your welcome.

Die Raststätte ist OK, aber der Burger King ist eine Katastrophe des Service und Geschmack.

Am 21.01.24 auf der schnellen -soweit bei - 7 * und Nebel möglich - Heimfahrt gg. 6 h rasch in Tank&Rast Lorsch West eingekehrt und 1Cappuccino bestellt. Am Ende des Haltes war ich mit 3Spiegeleiern und einem -auf meinen Wunsch - trockenem Brötchen, einem 2. (Hafermilch- ) Cappuccino, einem frischen "Kräppel" und einem Blaubeer- Muffin sowas von superlecker "abgefüllt", daß mir die Weiterfahrt schon schwergefallen ist. Nicht wg. "Bauch voll", sondern wg. der Erkenntnis , daß der Begriff "Servicewüste" in Lorsch West gar keine Berechtigung hat. Vielen Dank, Ihr zwei seid 1 tolles Team und ich komme gerne wieder, wenn es zeitlich paßt und ich bin bestimmt kein Werbeonkel. Beste Grüße Karsten

Offenes Design. Erstaunlich sauber für eine Raststätte

Fast 5 € für einen mittleren Kaffee sind schon sportlich. An den Tankstellen aber mittlerweile überall so.

Alles sauber, leider nur vom schnellimbiss etwas unmotivierter Mitarbeiter ( sass mit hochgelegten Füssen im Kundenbereich )

Typische Autobahnraststätte, Toiletten sind sauber, Wartezeiten sind angemessen

Zu dem Zeitpunkt wie ich da war , war alles super , Toiletten waren sauber , essen und auch das Personal war einfach klasse

Na parkingu dla ciężarówek można znaleźć miejsce nawet po godzinie 19. W budynku stacji dostępne są toalety (1 €) i dwa prysznice (3 €). Można używać kuponów tej sieciówki przy opłacie za prysznic, wtedy cena to 2 €. Kabiny nie są pierwszej nowości, ale jest czysto. Obsługa na stacji to miłe i przyjazne osoby.

Eine Typisch deutsche BAB Raststätte, das Personal hat lieber Schwätzchen gehalten als sich der Kundschaft zu widmen. Der angeschlossene BK nimmt nicht an den Rabatt Aktion teil und hat nicht mal den King des Monats, also gabs nur Kaffee.

Nix besonderes von den Mondpreisen mal abgesehhen
