Simply underground. I haven't seen such a dirty rest stop in a long time. Paying for this is an outrage.

Everything okay, everything you need

Ridiculous, the restaurant was closed and the gas station didn't even have bockwurst and the rest of the counter was almost empty.

Great rest stop, there are all kinds of fuel, coffee, a toilet, everything is there... Well, what's actually cool is that you can fill up with Ad Blue here and don't have to mess around with these canisters!! 😉

Better after the renovation than before. Everything more modern and cleaner. Lots of toilets in the basement. Segafrefo coffee bar espresso tastes good and cups are well filled. Apparently the rest area now makes a cleaner impression. However, I'm there during the day and only at night.

On Fri. Oct. 11th 12h: there was hardly anything going on. Very nice. Everything clean and well maintained. Currywurst with Bratkart. very okay. (8 thalers)

I really liked the Serways rest stop Grafenhausen-Ost. Was there on the way from Merzig to Hamburg, or was it from Hamburg to Merzig? 😉 As always, I ate a little something and drank a good large coffee. And also used the clean toilet. Personally, I think that all Seeways rest areas are in good condition with friendly staff. There is also a large selection of magazines and small souvenirs or gifts for those staying at home.

There is a large parking lot and delicious food

There were two of us in the restaurant (snack bar). Very nice service behind the counter. Everything was very clean and tidy, which I noticed immediately. E.g. tables were all wiped down. Chairs were just in front of the tables... they're just small things, but they make a difference, at least for me. Food was standard for rest stop. Espresso tasted very good.

Shower only until 6 p.m. €5 and €20 deposit. Not very clean.

Friendly staff but also a very good meal. You normally wouldn't expect this at a roadside restaurant

So I wasn't in there, just on the toilet and what can I say, compliments. The toilets have this self-cleaning lid (like the Chinese 😂😂, they've had this for a long time). Going to the toilet was really pleasant. Without any uneasy feeling. Could be like that everywhere.

I liked it, currywurst with fries, but with coffee over 13 euros, phew, but a motorway restaurant.

Absolute service catastrophe: there was no soap left in both toilets, the toilet cubicles themselves were anything but well maintained - and that with a mandatory tax of €1 per person. This does not correspond to what one can and should expect. On the terrace, all the tables are decorated with ashtrays, each containing at least 20 to 30 butts stinking in the summer heat - even though there is no crowd. Absolute recommendation to take a break somewhere else!!!

The station and parking lot are like many others in Germany. If you want to freshen up while traveling, a shower costs 5 euros

Unfortunately, one star has to be awarded!! I wanted to shower, this is only possible for a 20 euro deposit, no cash, you have to withdraw from the ATM and this is associated with additional fees that are added to the 5 euros for the shower... a disgrace which is second to none...the first and last time I've finished work here....it's slowly becoming a hobby of taking money out of truck drivers' pockets...never here again...

The restroom was very clean but costs 1€.

During a motorhome tour to Switzerland and southern Germany, we took a breakfast break at this rest stop. We were lucky and were able to park our big ship very easily next to the trucks.

Catastrophe. Showering costs €5 and is only possible with €20 cash as a deposit. If you don't have it with you, you won't have it. Baked rolls from LIDL are sold for €1.30 per piece. The only good thing is the road connection to the outside so you can go somewhere reasonable to eat

Used syringes are scattered everywhere in the rest area. You have to be careful where you step. Men's toilet dirty. Ladies toilet ok. Next time it would be better to go to a different rest stop

Before taking off from Frankfurt am Main airport, we had breakfast at the Gräfenhausen Ost service area. Everything was very appetizing, clean and inviting! The service and the price-performance ratio were also TOP! This is how your vacation can begin!

We landed at the Gräfenhausen Ost service area last night at around 8:15 p.m. after two previous service areas had already been quiet. We ordered bratwurst with rolls and chicken with fries twice. The lady asked us to pay because the preparation was fresh!! took place. She asked us about cards for discounts, including an “Adak” card. 😉😃. We have rarely eaten so deliciously!!!! The fries as they should be and the chicken as homemade and half an hour before the end. Everything was clean, very comfortable, super nice team! A nice end to the vacation🛍🎈⛱. Thank you!

Delicious food, the dog was also looked after, we were served by a very friendly lady. It's a shame that the toilets were out of order.

The food was ok for the price, they always have the same selection. Toilets were clean and cost 1 Euro. Payment with card and mobile payment is also possible. Food prices are quite reasonable and the quality is ok for the price.

Was served the cappuccino in a paper cup with the explanation that it was almost closing time. Very unfriendly.

Hitchhiker good lift from here to Hamburg

Good rest stop for the last stop before departure from FRA airport: convenient refueling and clean toilets. However, the restaurant is rather small and does not offer a large selection. There are better alternatives here, but for my personal purposes (i.e. refueling, "bio break") the rest stop is perfect.

Abysmal price difference compared to Italy

It's okay sometimes the staff is a bit difficult unfortunately the Rastatt doesn't open until around seven or not at all it's a shame it used to be really good

Relatively quiet rest area, a strikingly beautiful terrace with hydrangeas and beautiful flowers on the tables, friendly staff and a sensational cappuccino like in Italy. What more could you want? Oh yes, a delicious apple pie.

Small parking lot, very noisy, 🚾 toilet 1€, shower 🚿 5€ with key deposit and 20€. Wi-Fi in the cafe is very slow, downloading something is unlikely to happen quickly. It was the weekend, alone + 2 km away there are Aldi, Netto, Rewe stores. You can also take a walk in the neighboring forest, there are a lot of paths and paths there. Good luck everyone 🤞

The staff is simply rude, the shower is closed at 19:30, they say it opens in the morning, but the restaurant itself, the toilet is open 24:00-00:00, I just don't understand why you can't use the shower if it's open. I will never come again here. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

The shower works for 5 euros, cheaper than anywhere else, there are containers on the street with toilets and showers, a deposit for the key is 20 euros, which is somehow not humane with such prices.

Schlechter Sevice,2 Warme Grichte,unfreundliche Geschäftsführerin,alle Ladestationen für Telefon waren abgeschaltet, bei meiner Nachfrage wo das Problem liegt,wurde ich abgewiesen

Gut erreichbar auf der Fahrt nach Frankfurt Flughafen. Prima geeignet um ne kurze Pause zu machen.....tanken...Kaffee...ein Eis. Dann weiterfahren , in ca 15 min ist man mit dem KFZ am Terminal 1 oder 2 Kann dann Ratz FAZ....Leute hinkriegen oder abholen ohne den fetten Parkschein zu holen. Bis 10 Minuten kostenfrei....danach 5€ für 30 Minuten....und dann wird teuer. Dein KFZ Kennzeichen wird optisch erfasst....und du darfst nur 2 mal am Tag den Schnellparkplatz bringen...abholen nutzen.

Ewig lange Schlange zunächst beim vorab bezahlen, dann nochmal beim Essensempfang. Die zwei älteren Damen waren mit dem Ansturm total überfordert.

Sehr freundlich empfangen und bedient worden. Hier gab es nichts auszusetzen!

Raststätten meide ich seit längerem so gut es geht. Nun ließ mich der Frühstückshunger in Gräfenhausen-Ost von der A5 abfahren. Und war positiv überrascht: Sehr sauber. Das Spiegelei frisch zubereitet und schön angerichtet. Gemütliche, etwas abgeschirmte Sitzecke. Akzeptable Preise. Sehr nettes Personal mit einer insgesamt freundlichen und einladenden Stimmung. Wenn es überall so ist, fahre ich wieder öfter raus und entspanne mich auf einer Rastanlage.

Ambiente ist klassisch die an einer Serways, was aber nicht schlimm ist. Das Essen war schnell fertig, jedoch etwas salzig. Jedoch würde ich da gerne wieder anhalten.

Rastanlage m. 1 E-Ladestation, leider teuer wie alle Rasthöfe. Hoffentlich wird hier noch etwas mehr zugebaut.
