Opening hours until 8 p.m. is written on the door. But not with the gentleman who barely speaks German. At 4:45 p.m., without giving a reason, he turned off all the illuminated signs with the food offerings and said "everything's gone!" Closing the store over three hours early and scaring away the customers worked surprisingly well in German! Absolutely outrageous! May 16, 2025

2 out of 5 toilets were leaking because they were defective - in the only one where the door was currently open, the cleaning system wasn't working. Who knows who has all sat on the bowl before 🤢

Your opening times are incorrect. These are as real as the prospect of a warm shower at the RS Lipperland Süd, it must be because of the name.

I made a charging stop here. The fact that the charging station in front of the rest stop can only do 50 KW is probably not the rest stop's fault. The coffee was excellent and the lady at the checkout was exceptionally friendly and caring. Germany is not a service desert after all.

So prices for American tourists and to point out that for 4 euros the sanifair shower must be cleaned between each person and this was not the case today....

Three stars for the fact that a deposit is required and also for the astronomical prices. The Russian-speaking girl who works at the restaurant is very pleasant and attentive.

Shower costs 3 euros, you can use a toilet ticket, it’s clean, there’s a washing machine, but I don’t know if drivers can use it! In exchange for the keys to the shower they ask for either cash or some documents, I gave my license!

I usually visit the rest stop when I have to go to the toilet or am thirsty for coffee. The toilets are clean, the staff is nice and answers questions without seeming annoyed, e.g. There's a rush at the checkout, you take your time! Respect! I can't say much about the ambience, especially since I stayed for a short time. Just coffee and a snack with an indication of the time of preparation, fresh and delicious. For the four 5 times I've been there 🌟, I'm going there again next week. Keep it up, don't change anything until then!

Petrol and diesel prices are just under €2, so it's worth leaving the motorway beforehand and going to the Shell petrol station. There are still a few such outliers when it comes to the representation of fuel prices. 10-15% surcharge OK, but what is being asked for here is not fair.

Clean toilets, coffee expensive but good. One point is deducted for the waiting time. Only one cash register is open despite a good number of visitors. The poor employee not only had to do the checkout, but also make the coffee.

Despite only one customer in front of us and 3 employees, we had to wait over 20 minutes for a currywurst and a fries. The food was delicious and hot, but we were denied the free Kids Box that was advertised throughout the rest area on the grounds that we would have had to order at the checkout and not at the terminal (1.5m distance). With so much fanfare surrounding this “kids eat free thing” it’s ridiculous to find flimsy justifications for not spending it. In addition, the employees were neither friendly nor service-oriented. It's a shame, it could have been good!

Poor even on normal, average days. Very limited offer, extremely expensive (I don't see why, for example, a glass of milk with a little cocoa has to have such a high price - it's actually worth a fifth at most). Now, during the holidays and European Championships, everything is slow, opening times, - well. So overall nothing that's fun.
