Don't understand the hype. Doner kebab is mediocre at best and what does coriander do in a kebab!! People lost all respect

The kebab itself could be really good, as the meat itself actually tastes quite good. But as soon as you want normal salad in the kebab (iceberg or lettuce), cucumbers and red peppers are automatically included, which simply have no place in the kebab. Added to this is the coriander, which really has nothing to do with Turkish cuisine. The entire kebab tastes like coriander and in my opinion is therefore inedible. I can't explain why this kebab stand is so well spoken of. As someone who has eaten many, many kebabs in Munich, I can clearly say that there are much better alternatives in the city. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Overall: a lot going on but personally, as it is everywhere in Munich, there is simply no good kebab if you like Berlin style. I had a kebab with chicken. The sauces were extremely tasty and there was fresh mint in the salad which really enhanced the whole kebab. For €8 you can't go wrong.

Take a quick breath... THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHLIGHT OF DÖNERN IN MUNICH!!!!! So now I owe a short explanation 😂: were here today and what can I say? Juicy meat, homemade incredibly delicious bread and a huge selection of fresh, crunchy vegetables 😍. What else do you want? I also have to praise the Ayran, it's sooooooooooo tasty ‼️ A very big recommendation 😉 But also the staff... Very attentive, nice, courteous and with a smile on their faces. Everything tastes twice as good 🫶 All in one: definitely come back and can wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

The search for the best kebab in Munich - part two. Because of the good reviews on Google, we decided to try a kebab here. From the outside, the snack bar doesn't look much different from comparable shops. Inside, however, customers are greeted by a large display that impresses with fresh-looking mountains of salads, onions, tomatoes and various antipasti. The meat skewers are rotating in the background and the prices are clearly written down on the board. We chose two kebabs (meat sandwiches) with veal. Despite the fact that the service staff, as in almost all kebab restaurants, behave rather passively, our order was communicated well and was also packaged in environmentally friendly paper. In terms of taste, the kebab was actually convincing and also scored with a fresh note of vegetables, spices and the right amount of meat. The bread also tasted excellent and the sauces - there were four different ones to choose from - were good. Only the spiciness that was explicitly ordered did not materialize. All in all, a solid kebab that is recommended due to the somewhat unusual method of preparation. However, in my opinion, €8.50 is a premium price that can hardly justify the snack product of a kebab.

The first time I was there, the kebab was really tasty!! Strangely enough, the second time it was really bad, lots of vegetables, almost no meat at all and unfortunately the veal was just dry and had no taste :( But I will try it a third time and adjust my rating.

The kebab was too overrated for me. Unfortunately there wasn't enough sauce in the kebab and the meat wasn't juicy enough to compensate. Carrots have no place in kebabs. Definitely not a very good kebab, but solid. The service was incredibly nice, homemade Ayran tasted good.

One of the best kebabs in Munich. Sometimes you have to wait longer (15-30mins) due to its hype in social media channels. But compared to other hyped kebabs this one is really worth it even if youre not living close. They serve the kebab with fresh lemon juice, parsley and pomegranate sauce. The seitan kebab is a good alternative for non meat eaters. The prices are high (8-8.5€ for one kebab) but nothing extraordinary for munich.

I have always been enthusiastic about the delicious kebab with veal. Today it was definitely not a veal but tasted like sheep or goat. Really terrible!

Unfortunately I have to give one star, I would have preferred not to give one. Apart from the sauces, I didn't find the kebab particularly special. The meat wasn't good, I had to take it out, but there was still a strange taste. Shortly afterwards I had the reason for this in my mouth: a cigarette butt! Now I feel sick and dizzy. Never this kebab shop again!

The quality of the veal was excellent - tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned. The fresh ingredients and homemade sauces rounded off the taste perfectly. Every bite was a treat for the senses. The service at Sendling's Spezial Kebap House was also commendable. The staff was friendly, quick and attentive, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Overall, I can highly recommend Sendling's Spezial Kebap House. For all kebab lovers, this place is an absolute must!

The store is pretty hyped, so we tried it out today. Veal kebab to take away. Even though there was very little going on, the staff was quite stressed. Preparation very careless. The ingredients in the display case are quite mixed up. Very wild with the sauces: A single spoon used for four sauces...well. Bread wasn't particularly fresh and was baked again. Little meat, salad or even the sauces were sour, "spicy" wasn't spicy. All in all, a rather poor kebab for a relatively large amount of money. There are classes better in the south of Munich... what a shame.

You know the food is good when there is a line out the door at 20:00h, right? Yes, this tiny kebap storefront does not disappoint! While eating there might be difficult because of the 'packed house,' if you take your food elsewhereto eat, you will be pleasantly surprised by the perfect combination of flavors in their döner kebap sandwich. The bread is filled with so many generously applied ingredients that it becomes difficult to keep them from flowing out the sides and onto your plate. Definitely have a fork ready. Highly recommended!

I saw a video on YouTube and that's why I went there. Incredibly hospitable and attentive. The skewers are made by yourself, the bread is fresh and the selection of ingredients is incomparable. We were even given a small plate of specialties to try. For me by far the best kebab in Munich!

Compared to before, the kebab has become worse. Ordered two kebabs with veal. Both tasted different and the meat was very dry. In the past, there was always only one person at the kebab and he always did it with peace and love. Now everything has to happen quickly and this is noticeable in the kebab.

The location of the restaurant is convenient and the ambience is okay. The service was friendly and quick, but the highlight was of course the food itself. The kebab was perfectly prepared: the meat was juicy and perfectly seasoned, the salads were crisp and fresh, and the sauce was an EXPLOSION of flavor. The portion was generous and I was full and happy afterwards. The prices were also okay especially for the quality and quantity you get. I can't wait to come back and try more of their menu. This thing tastes more like a Subway sandwich with Southwest sauce! I think the meat doesn't come through at all. It also heated up extremely well, even though I was the only customer in the store in the afternoon. I found that very weak. Especially when the influencers come, the kebab is packed full of meat. If the stupid normal customer comes, he doesn't get 100 grams of meat... In terms of taste, the “doner kebab” is something completely unique and has little to do with a kebab. There are three or four sauces in it, peppers, arugula, pomegranate syrup, etc. It tastes most like a chicken breast Subway sandwich with everything lettuce... The bread, on the other hand, is very good and is made in-house in the shop. The staff is rather reserved and unfriendly. You can hardly understand the guy, he speaks extremely quietly.

The best kebab shop in Munich? That might even be true, but in general it's an average kebab at best. Unfortunately, Munich is very disappointing in terms of kebabs. There are significantly better kebabs in Kornwestheim or Stuttgart.

I was very disappointed and went on a recommendation and unfortunately the service was poor and unfriendly in the end none of the three of us had what we wanted. And after an hour of waiting you were rushed when ordering and weren't really listened to. Meat was mushy, bread flaky, dürüm, almost cold even though freshly made??? It could be that it was only so bad because there was a lot going on, but even then the service and quality shouldn't suffer.

Guys...seriously? Stand in line for almost half an hour like the Eastern comrades used to do when there were bananas every 5 full moons and then in return you get a chicken (!) Dürüm consisting of a cold Yufka for 9€(!) the consistency of a cleaning rag and meat that probably just passes for food inspection as "no longer raw" and is almost colder than the casing?? If I had "only" paid the usual ~7€ for it, I wouldn't be happy, but at 9€ I'm pissed off - calling up prices à la Theatinerstraße and delivering performance à la Neuperlach, that's where I have problems. I have no idea what the pizza oven and the dough kneading machine that are standing around backstage are for, but I know kebab shops that use the things during operation and bake the flatbreads and yufkas fresh on demand (this works even when there is more going on ), and some are also clever enough to set up 2 alternating skewers for the most popular type of meat, so that the freshly cut layer of meat at least has a fair chance of being exposed to the gas burner for a little longer than 10 seconds in order to get some heat and brown. And the whole thing is actually all the sadder because the rest of the filling material of the Dürüm tasted good (that's the only reason we get the 2nd star)...the vegetables, the sauces, the spices - the thing could actually have been a really stable Dürüm, if it hadn't been slapped together so carelessly by its creators. Yes, that is probably the central problem here - there is a lack of love for the product! Simply bam-bam-bam the goods out, the main thing is that the card terminal beeps as often as possible per unit of time and the sales are correct. And he definitely does that here, I would like to have a daily intake like that. So, despite doing everything right, a few annoyed customers get lost in the noise. Frank Rosin doesn't even need to come.

Until now I would have said it was the best kebab shop in Obersendling. Unfortunately today the Dürüm wasn't good at all. The bread was cold and completely soggy. Far too much salsa/chile sauce was used in the sauces. There was no mint or lemon. The service was unfocused and careless, which resulted in the requested ingredients being put together incorrectly. I hope it gets better again!

Very hip and lots of staff, resulting in quick processing. Unfortunately, the kebab didn't convince me for €8. What looks like a lot of content is unfortunately not filling. Bread was crispy and airy. Meat lacked the classic kebab taste and was relatively dry. Vegetables were saved quite a bit; red cabbage was present for a maximum of two bites. I honestly can't understand the hype.

We freaking loved it! Me and my husband spent a week in Munich in January and as soon as we discovered this place we chose it for every evening! Everything was great! I was very excited about the kebab shop, but unfortunately I was disappointed. I had to wait a long time and then they were out of veal. The kebab was tasty, but the sauce was only on top, so I could only enjoy it in the first few bites.

The food was delicious, there was a large selection, and we were particularly impressed by the friendliness of the staff, rare in Munich - highly recommended!!!!

We were there twice and ate turkey kebab for a whopping 8 euros. The taste was good but we got far too much salad and far too little meat. This is a real shame for such a renowned fertilizer shop in Munich. We can't recommend it any further.

Was recommended to me as the “best kebab in Munich” but compared to other German cities it was rather mediocre. The taste of the kebab is standard, nothing special and feels small for a normal kebab.

I came to try this place out after seeing all the good reviews, but I didn't find them justified. Veal was indeed pretty good, but the chicken, as well as all the rest of the sandwich were underwhelming and pretty bland.
