Sen Haltingen in Weil am Rhein

What was going on there? Friend ordered a green tea which was initially brewed too hot and was therefore bitter. Since the tea strainer was still in the pot, you had to take it out anyway because green tea shouldn't steep for too long otherwise it'll get even worse. So I took out the sieve and placed it on the plate underneath the pot. The waiter comes and shouts at us: “The kitchen doesn't wash it” (points to the plate underneath) and throws the dripping sieve onto my friend's table where it leaves a puddle of water. Guess he should have wiped that up with his sleeves? We simply had nothing else to put the sieve on? If I hadn't been there with friends, I would have asked the guy if he still had all the bars on the fence. Urgently teach the new waiter what customers are.

The food in this branch is as excellent as in the Lörracher. The service also leaves nothing to be desired: friendly, professional, quick... We like to come back to Sen again and again. The only disadvantage: in the Haltingen branch it can be very loud due to the large room with many guests.

Sushi unfortunately totally sloppy... Vegetables and edamame totally overcooked... The fried sushi was ordered without mayo sauce on it, but this was not possible. Why? That's hardly any additional effort. After all, the customer is king... Service said: he doesn't know if it's possible because it's hectic in the kitchen.. really?! Ridiculous.

Food was great. Since there are several “Asians” in the area, the comparison is easy. Restaurant a bit uncomfortably warm in summer. The terrace is preferable. Staff quick and friendly.

Pretty, clean, excellent food! Fresh products. Impeccable service. As someone who doesn't like Asian food at all, this is one of my favorite restaurants! To recommend.

Went there specially, but unfortunately closed due to company holidays. Unfortunately, opening times in Google have not been adjusted.

The four of us ate there for the first time. We ordered various dishes, all of which were good. We deduct from the rating (we all agree) that the tall, gray-haired waiter didn't have his best day in terms of friendliness. I interpret this to mean that it is probably the owner, otherwise you would have to enroll him in a course on kindness. Asian friendliness presents itself differently.

The food is good, a little more vegetables wouldn't hurt. However, the service is rather poor. You get the feeling that you don't really care about the guest. The taller waiter especially. When ordering, he goes behind your back and takes decorations from the table, annoyed because of the child. We will think twice about whether we will recommend the restaurant to others and whether we will come back.

Very tasty food and nice hosts. When the weather is nice there is a beautiful, quiet garden. I think it's great to have a very large selection of vegetarian dishes.

Were very satisfied. Food was super tasty and fresh. Service was very friendly and the atmosphere is nice, modern and creative. Recommended as ever.

One of the best Asian restaurants in the border triangle! I always enjoy going and the service is perfect! Especially when we are served by a tall waiter with gray hair! We have eaten here three times now and are very satisfied. The sushi is my favorite😍 highly recommended! And the drinks are also really tasty and refreshing. The service could be improved a bit in terms of communication/understanding and a little more smiling would be nice😊

The food was not what we expected. My baked chicken still had knobs and bones. My partner's duck was not cross baked. The food was served lukewarm. The two tables are very small and it is noisy in the restaurant.

A wonderfully delicious meal, we were there at 8 p.m., the place was full, we had our food 3 minutes after ordering. Can only be recommended. Sen in Haltingen is more comfortable than in Lörrach. We had beef salad and red curry with crispy chicken. The vegetables were very fresh and crunchy and the sauce was just the way I like it, slightly spicy

Nach bisher eigentlich positiven Erfahrungen hatten wir gestern 2 Gerichte mit Ente, die beide trocken und zäh und mit Knorpel und Sehnen waren. Echt kein Genuß. Leider war das unfreundliche Personal nicht willens, auf das Problem einzugehen. Im Gegenteil wurden wir mehrfach gedrängt, am Ende trotzdem den vollen Preis zu bezahlen. Eine Wiedergutmachung wurde leider nicht angeboten.

Essen war okay, mehr aber auch nicht. Geschmacklich in Ordnung jedoch, gerade beim Reisgericht, sehr kleine Portion. Dann lieber bei alt bewährtem bleiben...

Das Essen und das Ambiente sind ausgezeichnet, allerdings ist der Service oftmals sehr schlecht. Gerade der ältere Kellner ist sehr unfreundlich, redet unnötig laut und ist unaufmerksam. Leider mussten wir diese Erfahrung schon mehrfach dort machen, so das wir höchstwahrscheinlich nicht wieder kommen werden.

I've been to this restaurant twice in the past week and unfortunately was served by the same waiter (tall one) who was quite rude in the way he spoke to us, at both occasions. Very strange communication and not friendly at all. Not sure what's wrong with him but we will not come back. It's a pity as the food is very good but it doesn't feel welcoming as a service. I don't like to put bad comment but I hope this will help the place to improve and address such behavior.

Besonders die Crunchy Sushi waren sehr lecker. Auch die anderen Gerichte haben uns allen geschmeckt. Wir mussten nicht lange warten, Parkplätze hat es direkt vor dem Restaurant. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Alles in Allem ein gutes asiatisches Restaurant. Hatte wahrscheinlich mit meiner Ente etwas Pech, war ziemlich zäh.

Essen ist zu empfehlen - Portionen könnten größer sein, wer richtig Hunger hat wird von der Hauptspeise nicht satt - Parkplätze unmittelbar vor der Tür - Service teilweise nicht gerade freundlich.

Es ist mega laut, wenn Restaurante voll ist. Ist schlechte Akustik. Essen war gut, leider die Preise sehr hoch, alles an die Schweitzer Kunden angepasst

Ich bin begeistert. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Leute sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben draußen gesessen und den schönen Abend genossen. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis überzeugt. Es war eine Empfehlung vom Hotel Axion. Allerdings dürfen Hunde nur mit in dem Außenbereich.

Sehr gutes essen. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön. Die Wartezeit ist ein bischen lange und es hat wenig Parkplätze vor Ort. Ansonsten Top.

Ich hatte kürzlich das Vergnügen, im Restaurant SEN zu essen, und ich kann nur sagen, dass es eine absolut fantastische Erfahrung war. Vom Moment meiner Ankunft bis zur letzten Gabel meines köstlichen Gerichts war alles perfekt. Das Ambiente im Restaurant SEN ist elegant und einladend, was zu einem angenehmen Esserlebnis beiträgt. Das Personal war äußerst aufmerksam und freundlich, was den Abend noch angenehmer machte. Und das Essen! Oh, das Essen war einfach sensationell. Die Kombination aus Aromen und die Präsentation der Gerichte waren erstklassig. Die Speisekarte bietet eine breite Auswahl an Gerichten für jeden Geschmack, und ich war begeistert von der Frische der Zutaten. Ich kann das Restaurant SEN nur wärmstens empfehlen. Ob für ein romantisches Abendessen zu zweit oder einen besonderen Anlass mit Freunden und Familie, dieses Restaurant wird Ihre Erwartungen übertreffen. Ich werde definitiv wiederkommen, um mehr von den köstlichen Gerichten zu genießen. Vielen Dank an das Team von SEN für ein unvergessliches kulinarisches Erlebnis!
