Waited over an hour for the food, when it came everything was cold, fries, rice, etc. Except for the Adana, which was bone hot. No apology, no discount, nothing received, it was said several times that it would only take a maximum of 10 minutes, but that wasn't the case. Once and never again

At the beginning it was very nice in terms of taste and atmosphere, but recently the price-performance ratio has decreased significantly. Just average taste and poor service at above average prices!

Attention – health risk! After eating at this restaurant on Ramadan, I suffered a severe gastrointestinal infection - clearly caused by eating there. The service was also a disaster: overwhelmed service, chaotic and extremely long waiting times. An absolute no-go for me.

Price/performance ratio is excellent

They don't give napkins, 3 people used one napkin, they don't give us sugar for tea, I think it's a sin, there are no wet wipes to wipe our hands, we waited for appetizers but there were no appetizers for lahmacun, so don't eat lahmacun, they don't give you tea, sugar or napkins.

Super delicious food and great service! The restaurant is nicely decorated and very cozy. The Künefe was simply perfect – like something from Hatay! You can tell that the cooking here is made with love. Definitely coming back!

Grill plate ordered, lamb chop didn't arrive which was supposed to come later. The meat was way too raw.

What is sold here as food is an imposition. Parts were raw – and by that I mean really raw, not just “not quite done”. On top of that, the order was incomplete. How can you release something like that? For that money I would have been better off eating directly at Beymen - at least you know what you're getting. Never again!

I can't rate the food because we didn't eat there. The dishes we ordered were no longer available. We left and ate somewhere else.

We were there for Iftar...The meat was raw and the price wasn't right. If you want to have a stress-free iftar with your family, this is the wrong place.

The worst manager I have ever seen in my life, they demand 50€ for the iftar menu, the soup they bring is 1 cold and 2 salty, let alone iftar at 18:40, but the food comes to us at 19:30, it is really disappointing, we were 5 people in total, one of them got angry and left without eating, they even demanded money for that, it is haram

The food was good, but there were several issues. The waiting times were extremely long (30+ minutes), even though we paid extra due to Ramadan and there were only six menu options available. According to the menu, we were supposed to receive dessert, but we had to wait a long time for it as well. Since we were among the last guests in the room, we were even asked if we wanted dessert, despite it already being included in the menu. Additionally, the mixed grill platter was disappointing—what was supposed to be pirzola (lamb chop) turned out to be mostly just a piece of bone, as you can see in the pictures. The service was friendly, and the food was tasty, but overall, it was slow and inattentive.

Unfortunately, the quality of the food is not of the same standard as it is known outside of the month of Ramadan. There were also serious errors in the process. It is understandable that you try to enable every guest to eat at the same time. However, the appetizers set in advance and the soup served would be sufficient for this. When you get to the plated meals, it would be more effective if you worked through it group by group. It is not possible to have all the guests at the same time, and even the attempt is more likely to be met with a lack of understanding, which the waiters have to iron out with conversation. The idea of ​​the restaurant was to bring out the most ordered dish (grilled plate) first, then the next dish, etc. This automatically creates a large gap at each table. 60% of our table was finished eating by the time the last of us even had a plate. The quality also doesn't seem good due to the self-made "lack of time" (because of the desired process). Some of the meat was raw, some was charred. The plates looked like they had come out of a food-throwing competition. The starters served were a small side salad, 4 dates, 3 spoons of dips with bread (divided between 4 people) and a soup. The main course depending on your order and then a small sweet dish as dessert. The prices are already set in the higher range. Due to the quality and the process, it's a shame to spend so much money on it. Unfortunately our dessert was not included in the price. Unfortunately, the full surcharge was charged without taking into account or at least offering the free dessert. The next day we were reprimanded via WhatsApp message because we allegedly didn't make our reservation. (Paid receipt amounting to €1,200 presented as proof) It was a somewhat sharper tone that was met with a lot of incomprehension. We hope that this restaurant returns to its old quality, but then we probably won't be a guest again.

When the food was finally served, the portions were extremely small - even though we weren't told anything about it beforehand. The date dessert was particularly shocking: moldy on the inside - something like that simply shouldn't happen! The Künefe was also a disappointment - ice cold and the taste was far below expectations. The prices were completely exorbitant for the quality and quantity of the food. We raised our complaints with the staff, but we received no help - they simply ignored our concerns. Overall a disappointing experience. For the money we definitely would have eaten better somewhere else. We definitely won't be coming back!

Unfortunately our visit to this restaurant was a bitter disappointment. The service was friendly and attentive, but that alone cannot make up for the numerous shortcomings. The first big problem was the wait for our food. Despite the restaurant not being overly full, we had to wait much longer than expected. When the food finally came, we were disappointed again: the portions were simply too small for the price. You would expect a reasonable amount for the money paid, but here we were clearly disappointed. The menu also left a lot to be desired - the selection was extremely limited. There were hardly any variations or alternatives, so we were forced to choose from a very small range of dishes. Unfortunately, the taste of the food was also not convincing. We remember the dessert as particularly negative: a cold Künefe – an absolute disaster! Even worse was the spoiled date that was served. Under no circumstances should something like this happen in a restaurant. Last but not least: Our complaints were simply ignored. Instead of responding to our criticism or offering a solution, we were laughed at and not taken seriously. Such behavior towards paying guests is absolutely unacceptable. Overall, we cannot recommend this restaurant at all and will definitely not be coming back.

I would not recommend it, you have to buy the Ramadan menu, it was not informed in advance, the food arrived very late, the mixed grill was supposedly 45 euros for one person, but it was not enough for even 1 person, it was so small. Not recommended for Iftar! We had a very disappointing experience. While all the other tables got their food in a timely manner, we were simply ignored. When we asked, we only got excuses instead of a solution. The problem wasn't with the waitress, but with the head waiter. Such behavior is unacceptable, especially during Ramadan. If you want to enjoy a stress-free and respectful iftar, you should definitely go somewhere else!

Went there last night to break the fast, it was impressive how well everything was organized. The restaurant was completely full and EVERYONE got their food at the same time. Fresh bread was constantly being refilled. Everything was plentiful and nicely presented. I can recommend you to eat there with a clear conscience. Service, organization perfect. Selcuklu is very beautifully decorated. You are also greeted very friendly. But I don't understand how prices can be so exaggerated on Ramadan of all days!? It's just too expensive. Above all, you don't even get enough food for the price. That's really ridiculous! You shouldn't exaggerate the prices like that. You are forced to decide within 5 menus and then there isn't even what you want to eat. I think that you have the right to choose your own food even on Ramadan, this should not be limited. It was my first and last time at Selçuklu, we made iftar with the boys, the food was really raw and didn't look appetizing. A few hours later the whole thing ended with a gastrointestinal infection.

When we made a reservation for iftar, we saw that they had reserved a table for us in a glass section. When we sat down, it was very cold and it was incredibly cold from below. Although we wanted a heater, we left that table and moved to another table because the heaters were missing or broken and we could not stand the cold. If you are opening the glass section in winter, you need to provide appropriate heating and insulation. At the same time, we wanted to order when we went, but they said you can only order from the Ramadan menu. I ask where the menu is, they say there is no physical menu. They said to check the website, but it is not on the site. They don't even know where it is :) Only the prices were written on the tools in the hands of the waiters. Since I didn't want to waste time by making them read all the prices, we had to decide without looking at the menu. They even reminded me when we were getting up that you had dessert, but we didn't see the menu. And although it was a very expensive menu, I can't help but say that the portions were small.

Unfortunately, it was only announced on site that the current menu was not available for breaking the fast. This was exchanged for a Ramadan card - which had 6+1 menus to choose from and at exorbitant prices. (e.g. soup, two skewers and dessert - 36€) At least the staff was very nice.

I have never seen such a disgraceful service in my life! I made a reservation on Instagram, they confirmed it, but when I went to the restaurant, my name was not on the list. They made me stand for 15 minutes, no one paid attention. It was time for me to break the fast, but there was still no room. However, they found a place by force and arguing. Service? Beyond awful! The soup arrived 15 minutes later, I barely even got the bread! I had to ask for everything myself, it's like we're begging! The staff are completely disrespectful, they are sullen, the service is zero. I didn't leave a tip when paying the bill, they almost threw the money in my face! I have never seen such a disrespectful and careless restaurant. I will never go again! I advise everyone not to go! This way you cannot serve the customer! DISGRACE!

One star just for the ambience! We had ordered grilled plates, beyti kebab & sac tavası it was a complete disaster, everything was raw and tasteless! Small portions for wildly overpriced prices! Even in the 2 star restaurant you get better food than here! That was our FIRST but also our EVER LAST visit! Guys, you can save yourself a visit, not everything that looks great from the outside also tastes delicious 😂

Don't understand the 4 stars. Was here during Ramadan and very disappointed despite the optimistic initial expectations. There were a few menus to choose from. In other words, you would have to choose one of these. The restaurant was full and you couldn't get in without a reservation. My selected menu cost 35 euros, salad was a small plate for 2 people. I didn't like the soup and stayed there (lentil soup), the meat was okay and the fries were a bit dry. The dessert Kadayıf was very dry and I couldn't finish it. The black tea also didn't meet my expectations. The separate prayer room gave me great pleasure and the service was very friendly and tried hard, which deserves praise. Came from over 100 km away. I don't recommend this place.

This restaurant was recommended to us. We had Adana skewers and pan with shredded chicken. Well seasoned. The rice wasn't hot. You wait in a line at the door. Even though you can see empty tables inside, the employee chooses who he lets in. Then the menu is only available online via qr code. The waiter had a lot of trouble understanding us. We don't speak Turkish. The food came in 2 deliveries. The first ones were already half finished when the missing meals were brought. As soon as we had eaten the last fries, the employee ran and cleared everything away. She even wiped around our glasses with the wet rag. The table needs to be filled quickly. The chairs were far too low in relation to the table. My husband even had to sit on a sofa. So chin is at table height. It's incredibly loud in the restaurant. And we were even lucky enough to sit in a kind of niche. I called ahead to reserve a table. This is not possible. We then sat at a table with a “reserved” sign on it. Conclusion: The food was quite tasty so far, but that's what you get in other Turkish restaurants too. And it's more comfortable and friendly there. You don't feel good here.

We were there with seven people and ordered six grill plates. Although there was quite a lot of meat, three lamb chops were missing. Was that accidental or was it full as an excuse - I come from the catering industry myself - something like that shouldn't be tolerated. When we brought this up, we were told that something else was served in larger quantities - which we didn't ask for. For a price of around €180 for six people you should be able to expect each plate to be served as described and complete. We found this to be disappointing and not customer-oriented. The food was tasty.

We visited Selcuklu Restaurant for our birthday and wanted to treat ourselves to a nice evening with good food since it was our first visit there. Unfortunately, the evening fell short of our expectations, especially because of the food and service. We ordered a steak but were served a different meat. The steak came on an extremely hot stone that was so hot that the fat was constantly splattering - not just a little, but so much that my companion had grease splatters on her clothes, bag and even her face. It was so hot that she almost burned herself. The meat basically continued to fry on the stone and she had to push the hot stone into the middle of the table to protect herself from it. This was not only inconvenient but also unpleasant. We also ordered a mixed grill platter, which was unfortunately also disappointing. The meat was tough, full of tendons and hardly of the quality you would expect for the price. It felt like eating more “leftovers” than quality meat. When we told the waiter about the problems - especially with the hot stone - we only received a pitiful apology but no offer to accommodate us or improve the situation. Overall it was disappointing value for money and the service could have responded to the issues in a more professional manner. We were hoping for much more from this restaurant and probably won't visit again.

What is particularly impressive is that the künefe is freshly prepared in front of the guests - a real experience! The quality of the ingredients and the taste are at the highest level. We always enjoy coming here. Absolutely recommended!
