Great ambience, good food, great service and an unbeatable price-performance ratio

Were there yesterday to buy a school bag for our granddaughter. Afterwards we had dinner in the restaurant. Everything to our complete satisfaction. Thank you.

Today we had lunch at Segmüller in Pulheim. Price performance was really good. Both schnitzels were juicy. The fries were good and the pepper sauce was very tasty. Gladly again.

Top restaurant Mr. Ünal, very friendly

Segmüller really offers good food for the price. My cake was extremely dry, as if it had been on display for 3 days, the schnitzel was not cooked through, so I got a new one. However, the gentleman who served us was very unfriendly. The last time we ate there everything was fine. Maybe we had a bad day, but for the unfriendliness we only get 3 stars.

Jesus, what can you say here... It's a canteen in a furniture store! Neither more nor less. If you're here to buy furniture and other things, you can also have a quick meal here. The prices are ok, as is the service. However, it is very loud, there are usually children running around you and at lunchtime you sometimes have to wait a while until one of the hundreds of tables becomes free...

We've been there several times and the best thing about the restaurant is the ambience. It is beautifully designed and there are plenty of seating options. There is also a nice corner for children. Unfortunately, the food is hardly seasoned/salted and doesn't taste like much. The ice cream sundaes are very tasty. Unfortunately there is only a very small selection of vegetarian options.

I really like eating a breaded veal schnitzel with salad or potato salad here. It always tastes very good. If there is a lot of activity on the weekend, it may take a little longer for a waitress to come and take the order. The drinks and food ordered are usually served very quickly. Due to the size of the restaurant area you can always find a seat. You should be prepared for the noise level to always be a bit loud.

The kitchen is failing. That was better.

Even though it was very busy on Saturday, the food tasted really good and the service was attentive, friendly and good!

We go to Segmüller quite often, but when there are 4 of us. And we order 4 different dishes. And these 4 dishes come separately, from each other. We don't need to eat together. The same applies to drinks and cakes. Everything is great but the matter urgently needs to be worked on.

A great place to go out to eat with the kids, but I find it disappointing that you can't pay with a credit card there. In this day and age, when card payments are accepted almost everywhere, this seems a bit backwards. It would be really nice if there was also the option to pay conveniently with a credit card. That would make the visit even more pleasant and the service more contemporary.

Unfortunately, this restaurant has lost a lot of quality. What is served is absolutely not the same as what is offered on the menu… we were totally disappointed…

Service was great. (Ünal O.) Super nice staff. Brathandel was a bit small (smaller than in the photo). Roast pork was ordered with spaetzle instead of dumplings. Unfortunately it came out wrong (with dumplings as it is on the menu), but there was an extra portion of spaetzle on the house. Generally very satisfied.

I wanted to have a leisurely breakfast, but unfortunately my order wasn't taken, even though the waiter greeted me. I left after 25 minutes after other tables were served.

I have to say that this restaurant was the best we have ever eaten at in a furniture store. There is table service and (even when the sauce was ready) the schnitzel was great. But the highlight was the Kaiserschmarrn. There is also a play area for children. Beautiful all around and you forget the stressful part of shopping for furniture 😉.

It's just wonderful here. Compared to all the other furniture store restaurants I know, this one is undisputedly at the forefront. There is table service, very tasty food, different areas. The cake counter is so good that people come by just because of it. No matter how busy it is, everyone is very nice and quick. Of course, it's not a fast-food restaurant, so you'll have to bring some time. However, if you are looking for total peace and relaxation, you may have to look for a small restaurant with maybe 5 tables. (I don't understand some reviewers here) Everything works for me. Keep it up and thank you.

Wir waren jetzt wiederholt im Restaurant - zu Mittagessen sowie Kaffee und Kuchen - und können nichts Negatives berichten. Ja, in den Stoßzeiten ist es voll und dauert ein paar Minuten, aber Service ist gut und die Qualität des Essens stimmt. Der Kuchen ist toll. Insgesamt sehr moderate Preise, da habe ich schon ganz anderes erlebt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The food and also the cakes are highly recommended. However, you should serve the food to two people at the same time and not after the other person has already finished eating.

Only had coffee and cake.. both were mediocre at best. The waiters seemed quite stressed.

I change my opinion about Segmüller from 5 stars to 1-0 star, I ordered a sofa 8 months ago and canceled my order on the same day because it was not possible to pay by credit card in Segmüller. and after 8 months they send me a payment reminder for €212! because I just canceled the order at the checkout and listened to the cashier! I called Segmüller and he explained to me that I had to pay this money because they didn't tell me that I also had to cancel in writing!! What still annoys me is that I heard a mocking laugh on the phone. Instead of leading. Because I don't really understand what this money has to pay for! for nothing! what I deserve! I feel cheated and can't do anything other than pay.

Clean, nicely decorated restaurant on the upper floor of the furniture store. Attentive, friendly and fast staff. The dishes on offer are large, inexpensive and of good quality. All in all: nothing to complain about at all and highly recommended.

We have enjoyed eating here for years. Today we had burgers. These were very tasty. It's just a shame that this and the currywurst can no longer be found on the normal menu. We find that very, very, very sad. We also don’t think drinks are only available in 0.4 liters that much. We really hope that currywurst and burgers will be back on the menu soon.

We ate here for the first time today. At first we weren't served at all for half an hour, and only when we changed tables did a waitress come. The food was sufficient, but not particularly tasty. The fries were very dry, the schnitzel was good in size but not seasoned. The sauce (pepper sauce) was apparently a finished product and contained 5 peppercorns. I wouldn't necessarily order this again. The Kaiserschmarrn surprised us with the quantity and taste. We would recommend that. The place is very large and it wasn't full on a Friday lunchtime.

Lunch with the kids (nuggets, fries, etc.) was very tasty. You can do it *sometime*. We recently enjoyed having breakfast there. When I asked if we could only have ham instead of salami, the reply was sloppy, “No, only the one shown in the photo!” I would say the price guide was ok. Just under 18€ breakfast for two people. Unfortunately, the rolls were super hard and my child could hardly chew them. It's almost impossible to get a service person to pay the bill... And unfortunately one of the ladies whose name I didn't remember (of Asian origin) was so unfriendly, constantly rolling his eyes when asked if we could order something else to drink. You had to walk alongside and ask questions because the lady was too embarrassed to stop for a moment. Impossible behavior.

Nice, friendly, competent, courteous service. The shrunken menu is very negative. Many dishes were canceled. In particular, beef is no longer offered (except during special offers). The burgers and currywurst were canceled. It's clear that customers are staying away. Also, no thought was given to Muslim customers who don't eat pork. For them there is only fish and chicken. The families stay away because there are no more burgers. Here, cost savings clearly come at the expense of sales.

Enjoying the Segmüller ice cream sundae for two in midsummer weather is simply fun! Of course you should be hungry for this huge portion of ice cream...

We always enjoy coming there. The service is top and the food is plentiful and good. The service staff are very friendly and customer-oriented.

I had dinner there yesterday. I ordered meat patties with potato wedges and salad. A short time later I had diarrhea and vomiting. I'll never go there again.

The rooms are large and very tastefully decorated. The service came quickly and was very friendly. The freshly prepared food was very good tasted. The portions were sufficient. For dessert there was lots of ice cream and a large piece of cake. The prices are completely reasonable for a restaurant in a furniture store. We liked it very much.

Sorry. But the rating is rather negative. Veal schnitzel totally fatty. Fat from the deep fryer was still leaking. It's hard to imagine that the preparation corresponds to the advertising. Fries on top, no longer cross but soft. In addition, they were not able to serve 2 orders in a timely manner. Even if it is the restaurant of a furniture store, it doesn't work that way. Unfortunately we don't recommend it, even though the spinach waffle with salmon was still quite okay. Too bad.

Good selection, delicious food (warm menus sometimes served a little cold), prices feel high but the portions are large. The service is very nice and the atmosphere is pleasantly calm, even when there is a lot going on.

Note in August 2024: Unfortunately, during our current visit we noticed that the cold drinks, with two exceptions (orange juice and apple nectar), are only available in 0.4 l glasses. Previously you could choose between 0.2 l or 0.3 l. So we ordered just one of these giant glasses for three people and shared it between us. No, we are not ashamed of that. Please, dear people in charge and 'beverage ticket writers', don't be surprised if we drink heavily from our own bottle outside before entering the restaurant and, if necessary, with such a business policy, completely refrain from consuming cold drinks in the restaurant or share a glass with each other split. Do you think it's okay that children have to order a 0.4 l glass (apart from the two exceptions)? Half of it will probably end up in the sink because you can't manage that much. But the customer's money is still gone... Please reconsider your pricing! Your guests are mostly families with a normal income! I think 0.4 l of table water (as far as I know is filtered tap water, possibly carbonated) for 3.20 euros and 3.80 for an apple spritzer etc. in a furniture store is too expensive; especially when neither 0.2 l nor 0.3 l are offered at correspondingly lower prices! Positive: The food tastes good. Recommendation: 1. roast pork and 2. baked cauliflower. Cakes and ice cream are still delicious (unfortunately not cheap anymore). The ice cream was brought to the table after the cake. I was already finished when the accompaniment could start eating the small icebreaker. Addition in January 2024: There were freshly printed menus and ice cream menus on the tables. There were significant price increases of around 20 to 30 percent, which to me no longer makes this furniture store restaurant seem cheap. I find it interesting that the cake costs no less to take away than to eat on site, even though you only have to pay the restaurant's reduced VAT rate for take-away (7 percent instead of 19). Both cake takeaway and on-site consumption increased significantly for the New Year 2024. Food and drinks in the restaurant were delivered in four separate courses with a delay. We found the pork schnitzel to be quite crunchy and the potato salad was really just a small blob. The children enjoyed the children's meal (spätzle with sauce). Original rating: In my opinion, the restaurant in the Segmüller Möbelhaus in Pulheim is the best furniture store restaurant, although unfortunately with a clearly downward trend over the course of the year. Entire areas in restaurants are increasingly being closed off, even though many guests are looking for a seat. We were approached several times by other guests and asked whether we would pay soon. Then those people who were waiting stood next to our table - unpleasant for us and this could be avoided if there were enough shared tables. When I was roasting pork, I noticed that the portions had become significantly smaller. While there used to be thick slices of meat and lots of sauce, now the slices are more like two thick slices of sausage and the sauce wasn't enough to avoid having to eat the dumplings partially dry. Unfortunately, there are still no bread dumplings in a Bavarian restaurant! Otherwise: Authentic Bavarian cuisine, delicious cakes (tip: Sacher and raspberry), tasty ice cream sundaes, friendly but apparently overwhelmed service in traditional costumes. It is often difficult to find a free table. The cakes are also available to take away. I think it's really bad that you can't choose the flavors of ice cream. They are predetermined, depending on the ice cream sundae. I wanted two scoops of pistachio ice cream, but that wasn't possible! Very inflexible, in my opinion. The waiter has no option to enter anything in the order form. That should definitely be changed.

Very nice restaurant in the furniture store. Great view. Particularly suitable for families with children as there is a play area. I ordered a salad with shrimp. The shrimp were large and juicy. For dessert I ordered an ice cream sundae with cherries, vanilla ice cream and chocolate ice cream (the house's own creation) sorry, it was so awesome, delicious! Better than the ice cream man himself. I'll be back.

Compared to a restaurant in a furniture store, it's really great. The food is plentiful and good especially for the price. A play area for the little ones is very clear so that you can get there quickly. The restaurant is full service. I was surprised at the prices, but also pleased. Always my pleasure.

After a long time we had dinner here. We have Mr. Eb. ordered. Unfortunately he is very unfriendly, doesn't listen, and you don't get an answer to questions. 4 people ordered at the same time. Two have already finished eating and two are still waiting for their food. When asked where the food is, he says oh, it's here and an employee brings the cold food. We gave these back and told Mr. Eb. addressed, his indifference and unfriendliness is unfortunately still there. Update July 20, 2024 After planning a kitchen, we (4 people) went to the restaurant. There are new employees, everyone is very friendly and attentive, especially Ms. Bürger, she served us. We ordered drinks and food and were very pleasantly surprised by the friendliness and attentiveness of the service. Apparently they also have a new chef because the food was hot and tasty. Although almost all tables were occupied, we were even asked at times if everything was OK. This is all brand new and simply great, I hope that these friendly and hard-working young people in particular will continue to be like this. Wir waren zum Frühstück vor Ort. Es war leider recht laut aber es war halt sehr voll. Nichts desto trotz konnte man sehr lecker und preiswert frühstücken. Ich glaube ich werde Stammgast, kein Bäcker in Pulheim kann so ein gutes und günstiges Frühstück anbieten. Liebes Team von Segmüller, bitte geben Sie dem Restaurant ein großes Lob weiter.
