Seewirt`s Strandhaus in Übersee

Self-service. Not exactly cheap, but nice. I didn't test the hotel. We were just there for dinner.

We were only there briefly for a drink. The staff was very friendly, and the prices were reasonable for a direct view of Lake Chiemsee. The outdoor area is inviting.

Seewirt's Strandhaus – a truly beautiful spot right on the water! 🌊 The location is stunning and perfect for relaxing. The food and drinks were excellent, all fresh and delicious. A great place to enjoy the day – we felt completely at home. 👍✨

The seating is truly exceptionally comfortable...

We spent four nights in the suite on the upper floor of the beach house. We often enjoyed the lounge with its fine small dishes, delicious cocktails 🍸, especially mojitos, good wines, and, above all, the magnificent sunset. A fantastic location on Lake Chiemsee!🌞👌🥂

Beach restaurant with a wonderful location; unfortunately, the restaurant is weak, self-service, and the food is very limited and overpriced.

We celebrated our wedding at the beach house; everything was wonderful, and the food was plentiful and delicious. The guests were thrilled. The owner is extremely kind and empathetic. It was a fantastic decision to get married there! :) Many thanks to the entire team!

We went there for a sundowner and dinner. The menu was very limited and overpriced, the tables were dirty, and the self-service took some getting used to given the prices. Nothing remains of the lovely restaurant I remembered. The mosquitoes ate us alive; it was awful. The food was good, but overpriced. No thanks.

I have had the opportunity to attend a wedding at Seewirts several times and have been very satisfied with the collaboration every time.

A glass of water costs €4.40... I won't say any more...

Unfortunately, the tables are not stable, I'm quite clumsy. But the view is like being on the beach. 🥰

The Seewirts Strandhaus was the perfect location for our wedding. A dreamy waterfront setting, a wonderful ambiance (despite the constant rain), and a super-friendly team. Everything ran smoothly – we highly recommend it!

Beautifully located right on the lake. A lovely area along the edge with loungers, beanbags, and parasols, all self-service. The Obatzta (traditional German sausage) is excellent!

I asked for a tea. After having overpaid it €4.80, I had to take it from the counter to my table myself.

A very idyllic coffee shop on the southern edge of Lake Chiemsee, very tastefully decorated with a beautiful terrace overlooking Lake Chiemsee ☀️

Far too expensive for a self-service restaurant. A few tomatoes with arugula and mozzarella and two small wine spritzers cost €28. The tables were dirty. There was a bucket of dirty water lying around for me to clean up myself. When I asked for clean water, I was handed a fresh bucket to clean up myself.

Totally overpriced for a self-service restaurant. 1 small slice of cake, 1 wheat beer, and 1 Coke A whopping €17.40 This is a rip-off I've only seen in Italy.

The location directly on the lake is always stunning. The quality of the food and drinks is also very good. What's extremely annoying are the long wait times. I don't know if there are too few employees or the wrong ones. At the end of the day, the wait times are a reason to go elsewhere, which is a shame. Perhaps they could at least handle check-in for arriving guests at the drinks counter?

I was charged €9.80 for a beer and a small water (without gas). The beer was listed as €4.70 on the bill, so the water cost €5.10! And it was tap water, to my taste! Even though the roast pork was good, the prices for drinks are clearly too high. SG T.P.

We celebrated our wedding on May 3rd with almost 60 guests at Seewirt's Strandhaus on Lake Chiemsee – and it was simply fantastic! Even during the planning stages, the owner, Sabrina, put her heart and soul into everything, so we could just let go and enjoy our big day. The entire team was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive – we felt completely at home. The location right on the lake with the sunset in the background was simply magical – the perfect place for an unforgettable wedding. The food was also fantastic – varied, lovingly prepared, and truly delicious. The cake buffet was another highlight and truly left nothing to be desired. We would also like to give special praise to the cocktail bar: The bartenders spoiled us with a fantastic selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails – delicious! After the ceremony, we were able to relax and spend the night in the luxurious suite right next door. Very clean, spacious, and with an equally stunning location – a perfect end to a perfect day. Conclusion: An absolute dream location – if we were to get married again, we'd definitely do it here! 😉 Thanks to the entire team – you made our day unforgettable! 💛

A beautiful, cozy restaurant on Lake Chiemsee in Übersee. Chic, modern ambiance, great bar, rustic beer garden, and a beautifully maintained sandy beach with loungers, benches, and parasols covered in reeds! Self-service is no problem! Several dishes and sweet treats are on the menu; the Kaiserschmarrn with apple compote was sooo delicious 😋! ...and with the decorations and whipped cream, it's truly a real eye-catcher! Highly recommended!

The menu is very meat-heavy. Vegetarians have little to no options. Prices are quite high. Overall, a beautiful location right on the lake.

The location right on Lake Chiemsee is truly fantastic. If it were self-service, I wouldn't rate the service – especially since it took a bit longer and didn't seem as professional. The food was so-so, and unfortunately, they only serve bottled beer.

Wir sind heute im den Chiemsee geradelt und sind dann in diesem Restaurants gelandet. Von außen sehr schöne Lage. Wenigstens war das Essen gut für die Preise. Total überteuert. Leider gab es zum Schnitzel nicht mal Ketchup. Gibt es dort nicht. Warum sollte es für knapp 19€ auch noch was dazu geben😅 Was allerdings gar nicht ging, war, dass die Chefin (falls sie es war _ blonde lange Haare) ihre Mitarbeiter rum kommandiert hat, was nichts mehr mit Respekt zu tun hat. Und dann kommt der Oberhammer. Stellt sie eine Mitarbeiterin vor allen Leuten bloß. Sag mal geht's noch !!! Die Arme hat ja vorab schon Angst was falsch zu machen. Am Liebsten hätte ich was gesagt. Hoffe die Dame geht bald weil so eine Chefin braucht kein Mensch. Unterste Schublade so ein Verhalten. Die Leute haben sich wirklich Mühe gegeben.

Great location and delicious ice cream at the Seewirt

After a bike ride around the Chimsee, we stopped at the Seewirt. At 3 p.m. it was self-service only. We had OVEN-FRESH meatloaf and a beer. Unfortunately the meatloaf was only lukewarm - rather COLD!!!

It was a bad feeling to even go in, but then to charge €10.50 for a “hot chocolate”, which was actually just cocoa with milk, and an apple juice with still water, which was actually carbonated… Bring a pillow or you'll get a bladder infection! ;)

Completely overpriced. Cake tasted rather rancid. Only the location is great.

Overpriced. Self-service and that's still bad. Preparation at the order counter is done by temporary workers and students. There are further offers a little further along the lake. The best thing about the beach bar. Simple, rustic, with a lot of flair.

Were here for dinner. Everyone has to judge for themselves whether €47 for two meals and drinks including self-service is good value for money. Drinks were good, the food is at least as good at home. Location is great, which is probably what attracts guests here in the first place. In my opinion, the friendliness of the staff meets the minimum requirement for professional catering.

The location right on the lake offers a fantastic backdrop and ensures unforgettable wedding photos at any time of the year. The ambience is convincing across the board: stylish, modern and cozy at the same time. The location is perfectly thought out: plenty of parking in the area, good transport connections and space for up to 120 guests. What is particularly pleasant for wedding couples is that everything can take place at one location: from the relaxed getting ready to the free wedding ceremony to the celebration and overnight stay. No matter whether it's bright sunshine or rain - there is a wonderful solution for every weather situation. For anyone looking for a unique wedding location directly on Lake Chiemsee with experienced and warm service and delicious food, the Seewirt’s Strandhaus is an absolute recommendation! I'm already looking forward to the next weddings here.

I was only in the garden and in the inn without spending the night

Very nicely located beach café with a kitchen that offers the bare essentials. Now self-service. The location is simply wonderful and is ideal for a quick stopover from the motorway.

We had our wedding at the beach house and it was perfect from start to finish! The food was a dream, the bosses and service staff were super friendly, helpful and simply great! We would recommend the beach house without reservation. Thanks to Sabrina and team! Thanks to you and your many years of experience, we were able to really enjoy the day.

We were only there to eat when we took a break. That's why I can't say anything about the overnight stay Just a small note, there is no service at the tables, you have to come to the counter. When you come in you are totally amazed because the store is so beautiful. The prices are really reasonable too. You can sit right by the lake (unfortunately this wasn't possible for us because of the weather, but it's great inside too.) The Seewirt would be the perfect place to get married!

Actually, any further negative review is unnecessary. This pseudo host has already had enough of that, but today it's the last straw. On Sunday evening at 7 p.m. there is nothing, and indeed nothing (sic!) to eat. Everything's over! What was left was unfriendly and barely visible staff who were concerned with themselves but not with the guests. This store is a pure disaster. No idea about gastronomy and planning. Just go away and let real innkeepers there who have the desire and experience. It's a shame about the beautiful place.

Full of anticipation, the Swiss sausage salad with Regensburger and fresh Fresh farmer's bread ordered for 13.90, Unfortunately, we were quickly taught otherwise, The "breezy" farmer's bread crumbled in our hands, since it was just thawed and the Regensburger was just "a ham sausage from a package from the discount store". The sausage salad was a disgrace.

We have been here several times now and it is very nice. The view is beautiful of the lake and the mountains. The food and drinks are very good and the prices are reasonable considering that the location is unique. The service is great and, above all, very child-friendly. We keep coming here!

Great place to just relax, we were here for the sunset and got a nice place in the restaurant with a beach feeling. Today I was just at the Seewirt for dinner. But I can't understand the bad reviews. A good crusty roast for € 14.80 and that right on Lake Chiemsee, in the shade under trees and with a magnificent view. What more do you want.

Great place to enjoy the sunset. Service staff, well, could be friendlier. It was already 8 p.m. when we got there, maybe it was a long day, but greetings should still be included.

We were here for a wedding. Very nice location. Very fine food. The staff was so friendly. Of course, if the evening gets longer, it is understandable that it will be tiring for the staff. Overall, however, you don't have the feeling of being a welcome guest. Unfortunately, the service didn't quite work as it was late at night. The rooms are visually very great with a view of the lake.

Good location, prices were actually okay, but the portion of sausage salad had far too little sausage. Cucumber, onion and side dishes absolutely okay, but hardly any sausage. I'm willing to pay a little more for the location, but then I expect at least normal portions. Quality wise it was delicious

Very decent restaurant with friendly service. We had lunch on the terrace...at 2:30 p.m....and there was a roast pork to die for. Fair, reasonable prices and a menu that leaves nothing to be desired here on Lake Chiemsee... yes, fish eaters will also be happy here. The selection of cakes and tarts is really worth seeing and trying.

Beer garden right on the water. Very nice staff and super comfortable.

Leider wird man beim Parken abgezockt. Beim Einfahren zieht man ein Ticket und wenn man laut Preisliste 1 € pro Stunde zahlen soll und innerhalb der besagten Stunde wieder zurück ist, werden 2 € verlangt da die Zeit auf der Parkuhr anders geht wie die beim Einfahren.
