A very nice place where there used to be really good cheese spaetzle, unfortunately it is no longer there and a good roast beef with spaetzle and sauce is no longer a shame that good German cuisine is dying out. My conclusion is that anyone who loves German cuisine can no longer recommend this restaurant

Very nice atmosphere with a terrace by the water. Price/performance ratio not ok. For example: 5.60 for a thin piece of old cheesecake or 4.60 for 0.33 cola is exaggerated. Extremely uncrowded for a Friday afternoon in the best summer weather. That actually says it all. It was probably the last time here for a long time.

We, my wife and I, had dinner here in the Seelounge on July 23rd, 2024. This will be the last time we come here for the time being. The price/performance ratio is no longer right at all. Prices that are completely unrealistic. A cup of coffee, for example, for €5.50, a small/narrow piece of cake for €5.80, to name just a few examples. There is no lunch for less than €20. Service that doesn't deserve the name. Inattentive and slow. The only positive thing we remember from our last visit there is that it was lovely to sit on the terrace facing the Kuhsee. That’s it, what a shame.🙁

We were a larger group with a reservation - I was allowed to bring my dog ​​with me upon prior request, and there was also another dog on the terrace - I hope, dear Seelounge team, that you saw that (the vast majority of) dogs in the cafe are calm and well-behaved - We dog owners just don't like going to the restaurant without our dog. Despite the picturesque location of the Seelounge on the Kuhsee, our visit unfortunately turned out to be a not so pleasant experience. Our group of eleven people found themselves in a nearly empty restaurant, but this didn't seem to improve the service at all. All too often we found ourselves staring at empty glasses as we tried to repeatedly attract the service's attention. Additionally, the tone of the male employees, including the person we thought was the boss, was far from ideal. A noticeable undertone of irritation made the ordering process uncomfortable, and the way a young, friendly staff member was constantly criticized - even in front of guests - left us feeling a sense of horror. The communication with us guests was also sometimes inappropriate. The only positive thing is the quality of the food, which was okay. Nevertheless, the negative aspects of our visit to the Seelounge at Kuhsee outweigh the negative aspects, which makes it unlikely for us to make another reservation.

Abends saßen wir im Dunkeln, als wir gezahlt haben, hat man uns LED - Lichter auf den Tisch gestellt. **Personalmanagement: Besonders unangenehm war die Situation mit einer jungen Mitarbeitenden evtl. Auszubildenden?, die den ganzen Tag über geweint hat und mit verheulten Augen herumlief. Am Abend wurde sie von den Chefs zur Seite genommen, was die ohnehin schon negative Atmosphäre weiter belastete. Man sprach uns an und entschuldigte sich für sie. Die junge Dame hat sich nichts zu Schulden kommen lassen. Sie hätte einfach besser von den Kolleg*innen unterstützt und eingelernt werden müssen um besseren Service und eine zügige und korrekte Abrechnung bieten zu können. Insgesamt lässt das Lokal viel Raum für Verbesserungen, sowohl im Service als auch in der Gestaltung und im Umgang mit dem Personal. **Fazit: Solange der aktuelle Betreiber dort das Sagen hat, werden wir dieses Etablissement unter keinen Umständen mehr betreten. Er scheint weder Lust auf guten Service noch auf ordentliches Schulungsmanagement seiner Mitarbeitenden zu haben.

We celebrated our 60th birthday on the upper floor with about 50 people and everything was perfect 👌 from the planning, table decorations, food, etc. Drink selection up to At the beginning and aperitif everything was great. But the restaurant was far from full. There were 3 waitresses present. It is unacceptable to wait so long to be served. The Kaiserschmarrn was tasty, but it was far too little, even for a small portion. Approximately two tablespoons full. Not even a child can get enough. The taste of the soup was ok, but a bit low for the price. The restaurant is just lucky to be located in a beautiful spot right on the lake. I won't go there anymore. The price/performance ratio doesn't suit me, but above all the poor service puts me off

We chose a table on the terrace. The view of the Kuhsee in Augsburg/Hochzoll is very beautiful. I enjoyed the food very much. Only the portions are a bit small. That's why I deducted a star. At least we still had “room” for dessert. The apple strudel with vanilla sauce was also very tasty. The service was a bit inexperienced, but extremely nice and friendly. We can recommend this restaurant and would be happy to come back. Cashless payment is possible. Parking spaces are available, although there are shortages when the weather is nice and on weekends.

We celebrated our wedding there in May and we were over the moon with our choice of location! The service was great! The food was great! Everything went great and everyone gave us a wonderful day! We felt very comfortable and carefree with you and would hold a celebration of any kind with you again at any time! Great team, great boss! Everything perfect! Thanks!

Was it because it was one of the cheapest ones at €20? In any case, for cyclists who just want something to eat, the menu is excessively expensive.

The one star is for the great location, but that's about it. We sat at the table for about 20 minutes and no waiter came to us. When we called to the attention of a waitress, we were told that she was not responsible for us (the restaurant was almost empty) and that she would send a colleague. Of course no one came... We then had to get up ourselves and find a waitress. This came to our table with very little motivation. After there wasn't even normal ice cream, only soft ice cream, we left the restaurant. We can't say anything about the food, but the service there is a disgrace. We definitely won't come again...

If I were offered pork with sauce for lunch, I would have liked a side dish (pasta, rice or potatoes), unfortunately there were only salads. Dessert was only 3 of which 2 creams were indefinable and the tiramisu was bone dry. The ambience is great.

Incredibly slow and very unfocused service. There were 3 waitresses and only 7 tables occupied (2-3 people each). Wrong cakes were brought, ice coffee didn't come for ages, when asked it was said that the ice machine took a while. Toilet wasn't clean. After paying, the waitress walked away from the table WORLDLESSLY, no “thank you,” no “have a nice day,” nothing! Very nice location and the coffee and cake was ok. But the service was the worst I've experienced in a long time.

We stopped here after a walk around the Kuhsee. The restaurant has a wonderfully idyllic location directly on the lake. You can enjoy the view from the spacious terrace. We were served very friendly and competently. A tip: definitely take a look at the cake buffet.

Nice location for a restaurant with good food. The quality of the food was good for a company. Unfortunately, requests for changes could only be addressed to a limited extent. It was only after repeated requests that the children were able to change the menu from potato salad to fries. In the future, I would like to see good communication between service and kitchen as a team and, if necessary, the determination of “always possible alternatives”. This shouldn't be a problem with fries or pasta for children in this class of restaurant. I was less successful with an alcohol-free veggie alternative for a pregnant woman. To be honest, I didn't feel like asking anyone five more times. My husband and I then tried to swap it between ourselves so that it would fit. I can understand the comments about timing. We couldn't all eat at the table at the same time either. While I was already finished, the children hadn't had their fries yet. In any case, children's meals should always be served first. For a closed party with a starter, main course and dessert, the planned lunch (guests arrive at 12 p.m.) should not be served until 3:30 p.m. The first guests had already left by this time. In general, I lacked the planned transparency as to when something should be ordered and served. We would have liked to have gone to the playground with the children during our stay from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., but we were afraid of missing the order for the next course or the course itself. The service staff worked as friendly and well as possible. I admired how they ran up and down the stairs with the heavy plates. In my opinion, the training is not yet complete here. You should already know which food/drinks belong at which table, or better yet, which place. In addition, they should be trained in how special requests (allergies, pregnancy, children) can be addressed in stressful situations. Same-day problems on site were communicated transparently in the context of dessert. I thought that was very good. I still give it four stars because I just see potential here that hasn't been exhausted yet. It doesn't concern them) the cold food was ok and the warm food was cold and didn't taste good. Never again! For €125 I can have a much better breakfast somewhere else!

We were guests in the seelounge today. We were looking forward to a special evening with delicious food. We had already made the pre-selection thanks to the internet. The menu that was presented to us was very disappointing in terms of selection. So we made the most of it and ordered zander fillet. This small portion can be made very quickly and was really tasty. The drinks order didn't come. But it was noted on the invoice. Conclusion: beautiful view, portions too small, service could have been better. We left earlier than we planned. We still get to the Kuhsee, but no longer go to the Seelounge.

Had reserved 10 days in advance for 19 people. There was only room and set up for 15. When we asked where the rest of us should sit, the waiter said wherever we wanted. We added a table and were told off in a very unfriendly manner that he would do that. This also happened after quite a while. Food expensive, very small portions, but otherwise good. At 8.30 p.m. we were informed that the restaurant actually closes at 8 p.m. (Internet 10 p.m.) and we were asked out. Mentioning this when making the reservation would have saved us from this unpleasant visit to the restaurant. Very annoying and expensive for the welcoming 82 year old birthday child!

We were really looking forward to a cozy brunch on Sunday and were unfortunately disappointed across the board. The advertised buffet was very manageable and the food on offer was more out of a box than of local quality. The buffet lunch was simply cold, unseasoned and tasteless. None of the waitresses asked if we wanted to drink anything other than the coffee in the thermos. There was no water. Only by order for lunch. Dessert consisted of something they called Kaiserschmarrn. What it was is beyond my knowledge. At some point a waitress came and said there was still apple strudel when he saw that hardly anything had been eaten from the plate... Then came the reckoning. €35 per person, a disgrace for the “food” on offer. When we complained, the boss came and immediately felt attacked. He doesn't want to have a conversation at this level, there are probably new kitchen staff, etc. The usual excuses. The service was trying hard, but still very unprofessional. The first and last time in this restaurant. Thank you for nothing.

We went for brunch on Sunday and were looking forward to a diverse selection. Our request for a seat on the terrace was kindly accommodated. The restaurant has a nice location but that's about it. The buffet at breakfast and lunch is manageable and doesn't have much to do with regional products, unless Aldi, Lidl and Co are included. Lunch was lukewarm to cold and unfortunately didn't taste particularly good either. Drinks were coffee, tea and two different juices; alternative drinks were not asked until lunch. A service employee tried hard, but unfortunately couldn't save the whole thing. We actually wanted to pay and leave the restaurant, but were told that there was still dessert. We could have saved ourselves that, but unfortunately it was a disappointment here too. When it came to billing, we were asked if we were satisfied. Unfortunately, since we couldn't give any positive feedback, the boss was called and tried to find out what the problem was. Unfortunately, he couldn't handle our feedback well and couldn't understand it... all the other guests would have been satisfied, his statement was that we should have told them straight away that something wasn't right (which was communicated to the service in advance) and he didn't like the direction it was going the conversation developed and left the table. When we billed it, it was initially €144, then it was €161 and finally €154 after we did the math ourselves. As compensation, the service employee deducted a cappuccino and an espresso. The price-performance ratio doesn't fit at all, for us it's clear that there won't be a second time. We are happy to pay a corresponding price for good quality, but that is really outrageous. PS: the pictures of the buffet are far from what you get.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed at Sunday brunch. It was somewhat unusual that the “brunch buffet” was set up and dismantled in three stages. Normally a brunch buffet should offer all dishes at the same time at the advertised time, this is the purpose of a brunch...breakfast and lunch can be enjoyed at the same time. For a buffet price of €35.00, there is very little choice at all three buffets. Another point that bothered me as a guest was that nothing was labeled at the buffet. For dessert, the Kaiserschmarren was very greasy and the crème brûlée was strangely served on a large, flat tray. It wasn't flambéed enough and you had solid grains of sugar in your mouth when you ate it. Unfortunately, the complaint management was not satisfactory. Instead of responding to our feedback, we were compared with other guests. Apparently, according to the owner, all the tables present were super satisfied, except us. When it was mentioned that the food at the buffet was cold, we were told that there was no longer any evidence of the kitchen, we should have let them know straight away (we told our waitress that our food was cold). The conversation was ended very abruptly after further justifications from the owner and unfortunately the guest feedback was not addressed at all, super unprofessional. Very unfortunate…

We went to the Seelounge for brunch this morning. It wasn't a real brunch, just a menu in stages. The selection for breakfast, lunch and dessert was very manageable. Lunch was cold, which was also communicated directly. For dessert there was Kaiserschmarrn, which was very oily and doughy. There was also supposed to be crème brûlée, but it wasn't really flambéed but contained coarse grains of sugar and was served on a tray. When it came to payment, we wanted to express the deficiencies, whereupon the boss came to our table. Instead of accepting the feedback, he started arguing with us. For example, he wanted you to let us know in advance if the food was cold so that he could inform the kitchen directly. Which, as previously mentioned, we already did at lunch. In the end we had to pay around 150€ for 4 people for an absolutely below-average “brunch”, which did not meet the service standards of this lounge.

We were here for brunch on Easter Sunday, the breakfast was good, but the lunch was not good (tasteless), which was also confirmed by the other people sitting at the table with us. I ordered half a Russ for lunch, but unfortunately it wasn't served chilled. We won't go there anymore.

Today, February 25th, 2024, there was a lot of activity and there was only one gentleman from whom you could order drinks and food. Waited almost an hour for a free table. Afterwards he told us, I'll come to you in a moment...the same thing several times! Sat and waited for the order for over half an hour! Then we left!

Highly Recommended! We were there today for brunch, a rich breakfast buffet, warm dishes from midday and then dessert. Everything is fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. The service was also great. We'll definitely be back!

There were two of us and we ordered a nut cake and a cheese cream cake. The nut cake was very good, but the cheese cream cake seemed to have not been completely thawed, the frozen particles were clearly noticeable. Unfortunately, my partner, whose tolerance threshold is probably a little higher than mine, had already eaten some of the cake. When I complained, the waitress said that I could take the rest home with me. The cake was also from a supplier and not frozen. After some back and forth, the waitress generously agreed to only charge half the price. A service that keeps you from visiting the location a second time.

As a family of 5, we went for brunch on Sunday without any great expectations and went home absolutely thrilled. From 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. breakfast including a glass of Prosecco, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. lunch buffet and at the end a dessert. Coffee and various drinks without limits. Price/performance is absolutely right here. And the service is absolutely top. We don't need to talk about the boss. Anyone who has ever been there knows that he is a very nice and customer-oriented person who is a pleasure to stop by.

I live nearby and thought it would be a good idea to have a focal point for my Sunday walks. The terrace and the view are nice, but that's about it. Brunch was absolutely amazing 😍 I have rarely seen a variety of salads prepared with so much love and absolutely fresh. The bacon was crispy, which is rare in other places. Absolute Frechheit Wir hatten für einen Leichenschmaus Kaffee und Abendessen gebucht, Kaffee dauerte ewig bis alle einen hatten, als wir um 17.30 Uhr Abendessen bestellen wollten wurde uns gesagt dass der Koch schon gegangen ist und um 18.00 Uhr geschlossen wird. An der Tür stand aber Öffnungszeit bis 20. 00 Uhr. Auch andere Gäste mussten gehen. Kundenfreundlich geht anderst !

Für mich ist es sehr schwer irgendetwas zu beurteilen, denn das Brunch was zum Feiertag auf der Webseite angepriesen wird, gibt es nicht!!! 11 Uhr wie reserviert, standen wir vor der Tür, doch es war noch zugeschlossen und dunkel. Wir waren uns unsicher, ob es überhaupt geöffnet hat. Erst als wir angerufen haben, wurde uns geöffnet. Voller Vorfreude auf das Brunch, wurde uns vom Betreiber erklärt, dass es am Feiertag kein Brunch gibt. Wir haben auf die Website verwiesen und darauf hingewiesen das eine Änderung dringend angeraten wird. Der Betreiber teilte uns mit dass er diesen Eintrag am nächsten Tag löschen wird. Nur zur Erklärung sehr geehrter Herr..... Am nächsten Tag bedeutet ein Tag später, nicht drei Tage später oder länger. Sehr schade das potenzielle Gäste so in die Irre geführt werden. Ich kann übrigens ein sehr schönes Restaurant nur 7 Fahrminuten vom Kuhsee empfehlen, mit allem was das Herz begehrt.

Sehr schön zum sitzen. Wenn man Allergien hat wird es hier schwierig. Da wir keine richtige Auskunft bekamen haben wir nur etwas getrunken. Ansonsten ein sehr schöner Platz

Eigentlich ein sehr schöner Standort, aber leider ein miserabler Service: 10 Min. auf die Speisekarte gewartet, weitere 10 Min. auf den Kaffee und weitere 10 Min. auf die Mitteilung, dass der Apfelstrudel, der vor 20 Min. bestellt wurde, schon längst aus ist. Und dafür (2 heiße Getränke) und lange Wartezeiten wurde dann 10€ berappt. Muss man nicht haben!

Die Aussicht am See ist nett, aber das wars auch schon mit dem Positiven. Die Bedienungen sind überfordert und der Chef ist unfreundlich sowohl zu seinen Mitarbeitern als auch zu den Gästen. Das Essen ist allenfalls durchschnittlich und die Preise, die auf der Karte stehen definitiv nicht wert. Künftig werden wir uns am Kuhsee an anderen Orten verköstigen. Definitiv kein Wohlfühlort.

Sehr schöne Terrasse, und der Kaiserschmarrn war sehr gut.

Sehr schöner Ort dort zu sitzen und den Herbst zu genießen. Essen gut, jedoch sehr kleine Portionen. Die Lage hat ihren Preis. Bewirtung lässt sehr zu wünschen, Getränke und Nachtisch wurden einfach an die Tischkante gestellt, ohne zu fragen, wer dies überhaupt bestellt hatte. Kinder bekamen als Letzte des Tisches ihr Essen (Schnitzel m. Pommes). 2 Nachtische wurden gar nicht geliefert. Trotz der Lage für mich nicht akzeptabel und ein Reinfall. Mögen andere Gäste dort zufriedener sein und zuvorkommender bedient werden. Meinen nächsten Geburtstag werde ich dort nicht mehr feiern.

Sitzen seit 20 Minuten draußen. Nicht mal ne Speisekarte haben wir bekommen. Die Asiaten nebenan sitzen auch mit leeren Gläsern, der Tisch ist nicht abgeräumt. Ein Paar ist bereits gegangen wg nicht bedient worden zu sein. Wor sind auch gegangen. Hier ist der Gast nicht von Bedeutung. Vielen Dank für nichts 😱

Flammkuchen und Kaiserschmarrn waren sehr lecker. Endlich habe ich einen karamellisierten Kaiserschmarrn gefunden. Der Flammkuchen war schön belegt und knusprig. Außerdem ist die Aussicht auf den See hervorragend

War auch zum Brunchen am 26.12. hier. Positiv: - Sehr aufmerksamer und netter Service durch die Bank. Haben sehr oft nachgefragt, ob alles okay ist und haben die leeren Teller sofort abgeräumt. - Schön eingerichtetes Lokal mit Holzofen und Blick auf den Kuhsee - Frühstücks-Buffet reichhaltig mit Kaffee, Tee, Säften, Semmeln, Konfitüre, Cornflakes, Rührei, Spiegelei & sogar Weißwürsten. Also für jeden was dabei. - Günstig: Pro Person ca. 30 Euro für Frühstück & Mittagessen. Dafür qualitativ überschaubar. Negativ: - Sanitäre Anlagen: übler Geruch und Kabinen nicht abschließbar - Mittagessen hatte Kantinenqualität. Gemüselasagne hat nach nichts geschmeckt. Musste gut mit Salz und Pfeffer nachwürzen. Kartoffeln komplett zerkocht und nicht gesalzen. Die Braten kann ich nicht beurteilen, da ich Vegetarier bin. Salat war okay, nur leider stand ab einem gewissen Zeitpunkt kein Dressing mehr da. Musste meinen Salat also ohne Dressing essen. - Nachspeise (zum Mittagessen): Tiramisu ebenfalls geschmacklos (z.B. hat der Amaretto gefehlt). Creme Brulee auf einer riesigen Platte angerichtet, sodass Tausende Leute mit dem Schöpflöffel drin rumgestochert haben. Fazit: Wer günstig essen will und keine Ansprüche hat, ist hier gut bedient. Ambiente und Service sind hervorzuheben. Auch, wenn man nur zum Frühstücken herkommt, reicht es aus. Das Mittagessen war eine Frechheit. Völlig lieblos. Alles in allem würde ich eher davon abraten, hier Essen zu gehen.

Die mediterrane Küche besticht nicht nur durch ihre gekonnte Zubereitung, sondern auch durch ihre Leichtigkeit und Bekömmlichkeit. Die feine Forelle, das köstliche Lamm und der delikate Salat haben uns den Abend genießen lassen. Ich freue mich schon auf die weiteren Highlights der Speisekarte.
