My first meal there was mussels and salad. Very tasty!

I will never forget my short visit to this restaurant, and unfortunately I don't mean that in a positive way. Actually the dilemma already started with the table reservation... the four of us wanted to reserve a table on the terrace and we were told that the tables only outside cannot be reserved but will it be okay?? We actually got a place on the terrace and things got complicated... one couple each had a voucher from a voucher book, two of us wanted to order a hamburger, we were told that that wasn't actually possible with the vouchers, Since today would be the special Hamburg day (hamburger plus a drink for free) we replied that of course the free drink wasn't wanted, it was just about the 🍔, the waiter's answer: yes, then I'll just do it anyway.. . So and now to crown the whole evening: The, I assume, owner of the restaurant came to our table personally and assumed that both vouchers were from one and the same book, since the voucher numbers were sequential. It took us a moment to digest that !!! Of course this wasn't the case, we have identical voucher books and it was a coincidence that the numbers were consecutive, but one couple, due to lack of space in their handbags, only had the card from the voucher book and the voucher with them and we had that Book + voucher. It even went so far that the vouchers were placed next to each other with the claim that you would also see that both vouchers were separated from each other!!!! I think the perforations are always in the same place!!!! The whole thing is very, very unpleasant!!! We then paid for our drinks and left with a sinking feeling in our stomachs. It's a real shame, something like this has never happened to us before!!! There is one star for the lovely waiter, who was visibly embarrassed by the whole thing...

The view of the lake is great, the service was nice. But the price/performance ratio for the food is not right! If you want to stop for a drink while cycling, maybe also some cake, okay!

My wife and I were thrilled by the food, the service and the feel-good atmosphere. All in all a successful evening! Self-made is very important here. Since we live practically around the corner, we will definitely stop by more often.

I am a trained chef myself and unfortunately I have to say: the pepper sauce was absolutely horrible! Rarely have I eaten something so bad... and it was ice cold serve 😕. There was also too much cartilage in the schnitzel. Unfortunately, the service was also subpar. We probably waited 20 minutes until we were greeted, even though maybe 5 tables were occupied. The staff looked like they were from the sports field based on their clothing and food wasn't served for over an hour at the earliest. We think the food was simply forgotten. Then you also have the drinks Forgot part and only cleared the table of the previous guests' glasses and plates after 30 minutes. Overall you have to say a nice location but with that Unfortunately, you won't win any prizes for the kitchen and service staff present.

The Seelich offers a beautiful view of Lake Baldeney and you can sit very comfortably both inside and outside. The food is always freshly prepared and is very tasty. The price-performance ratio is right here.

The schnitzels were small but tasty. Tagliatelle with scampi tasted burnt and was too salty. The chef also saw it that way after consultation. We had to pay for it, even though we let over half of it go back anyway. We were offered coffee and an ouzo on the house. However, the free ice cream because it was Saturday was forgotten.

We ate very tasty, the service was very friendly, the toilets were very clean and we sat on the beautiful terrace with a wonderful view of the Ruhr

Unfortunately in this case 1 star is still too much. It started with the waitress pouring the first drink (shandy) on us. That can happen, but it was very annoying because my backpack also got a lot of it. (Didn't bother anyone else except me) It continued with the fact that after the drink was brought back, no one came by to eat. After about 20 minutes we were allowed to order our starters, which were said to take a maximum of 15-20 minutes until they were ready. Unfortunately after 35 minutes there was still nothing there. When the food arrived after what felt like an eternity, I was disappointed to find that my scrambled eggs with chanterelles were not seasoned at all. Despite a lot of salt and pepper (I had to get it myself because unfortunately no one came to the table), the taste didn't get any better, so I didn't eat anything from the plate apart from the side salad. We were allowed to pay upon request. Of course, the plates weren't cleared beforehand and my second water order was bong, but never found its way to the table. The espresso, which was supposed to be “on the house” for the pour over at the beginning, was also included in the bill. The unseasoned scrambled eggs had to be paid for in full, even though they were not eaten and nothing new was offered. When I said that it was the last time we were here, the waitress simply said that no one was forced to come back. Top 👍🏿 In conclusion you can say that the location is the only thing that deserves 5 stars. A pity.

We were very happy with the food. Pork schnitzel with fried potatoes and mushroom cream sauce. Burger with bacon, cheese and fries. The food was also plentiful and tasty. The service was very nice and friendly. On 07/19/24.

Wonderful outdoor terrace. We were there with a couple who were friends of ours. The service was good at the beginning, but unfortunately declined steadily over the evening. Our friend ordered her dish in vegetarian form. It then came with meat. She gave it back and after a long wait - it was a cold dish - she got the right thing, but the promised walnuts were missing and it was carelessly prepared. We would have expected that the chef might come outside, who as far as we know is also the owner. But no further reaction. A family at the next table, who seemed to be well known, was being courted. Very unprofessional. It's unclear whether our friend will come back again and we're not really sure. The other meals were okay so far. It's a shame, the basic idea of ​​the kitchen is good and the SEElich is easy to reach from us.

A great restaurant with a rustic atmosphere, non-alcoholic Pilsner (test winner 😉) on tap and German cuisine. We will be back definitely!

Beautifully located at the beginning of Lake Baldeney. Good food, here home-style is more than just schnitzel variations. A little more expensive, but very good value for money.

Were there for the first time. An absolute disappointment, we won't be going back. I give the one star for the ambience and the view of the lake from the terrace. The only service was apparently overwhelmed even though there wasn't really much going on. We wanted to order schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce, but apparently the champions were out. So the order was changed slightly, everything was fine. After three quarters of an hour the cutlery arrived, and after an hour we asked when the food would come. The waiter's statement "coming soon" After another 15 minutes (we were now the last guests on the terrace), the waitress comes to the table and says that something had gone wrong with the receipts and that she would have to start eating again. Sorry, but I don't order any more food at 9:30 p.m. and then wait again. We then had to go inside to pay and you didn't even have the feeling that you were sorry that the guests left the restaurant hungry after an hour and a half. Not particularly good treatment of paying guests. We absolutely cannot recommend it and, judging by the reviews, it's not the first time it's happened.

We stopped there during a bike tour and were able to fortify ourselves for the onward journey with a cool drink and a delicious baked potato with salad and pulled mushrooms. You have a beautiful view of the lake there. The waiter was attentive and friendly. Thank you very much 😊👍

AVOID! If it was possible this restaurant would get zero stars. We waited an hour and when we asked how much longer the food would be, the waitress told us a bit longer, with no time specified, because they had a big party to deal with. We said we couldn't wait any longer and asked to pay for our drinks. Waiting to pay (almost 10minutes!)and then suddenly,they say the food is ready and demanded we pay for it. This escalated when we refused by them threatening us with the police. I have never been treated like this ever before. They were aggressive and nasty.AVOID!AVOID! AVOID!

We were there on April 30, 2024, I have never experienced such bad service as I did that evening, The waitress brought two large beers instead of a large and a small one, forgot to order the food in the kitchen. After the boss came by after about 45 minutes and we asked about the food, he realized that nothing had arrived. We ordered a mushroom dish with potato wedges and got potato wedges with a small portion of mushrooms. When we wanted to talk to him about this disaster, we were rudely dismissed. It was our first time there and it was very tasty. The boss also offered me alternatives which I was happy to accept. 👍 Will definitely come back and hopefully sit outside on the terrace with a nice view of the lake when the weather is nice.

After waiting 1 hour for food I got raw salmon fillet. Dirt everywhere, food leftovers on the floor. Despite few customers.

The location offers a wonderful view of the lake. The guest is pampered with friendliness, attention, freshly tapped and delicious food. The home-baked cake is also highly recommended. For dessert I had a slightly warmed apple pie with fresh cream, mmm... delicious. We will be back:)

We celebrated on September 23rd, 2023 at SEElich with 55 guests and all the guests were thrilled. Both from the food, the attentive and friendly service and the nice ambience in a prime location on Lake Baldeney. DJ Scotti (beejay-music), who was recommended to us by Dennis and other guests, also did a great job. Many thanks to the entire team for the great evening.

Gemütliches Lokal mit persönlicher Atmosphäre, direkt am schönen See gelegen, man kann dort wunderbar den Sonnenuntergang genießen. Ebenso die leckeren ( bei uns ) vegetarischen Gerichte, mit Liebe gekocht und schön angerichtet. Der Knaller war das Dessert, die beste Panna Cotta die ich je gegessen habe! Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt !

Highlight: der Blick von der Außenterrasse auf den See, bei gutem Wetter ein Träumchen. Der Pflaumenstreusel war lecker aber keine Offenbarung. Personal freundlich und aufmerksam. Komme gerne wieder 😎

Schöne Locarion - cooler Service und Bedienung - schade, dass sich der eine oder andere Nachbar um kurz nach 22 Uhr über die Lautstärke beschwert hat...

Die (Dach)Terasse ist super (keine Zugangsmöglichkeit für Geheingeschränkte). Bis zum späten Abend noch Sonne. Tolle und kurze Speisekarte. Preise auf "Seeniveau". Das Essen war lecker, Ich hatte den Bacon-Cheeseburger (Tages-/Aktionskarte). Tipp: Medium bestellen. Hatte ich so vor und hat der Service auch empfohlen. Bei der Fleischqualität ein Muss. Sehr üppige Portion. Ich habe es fast nicht geschafft. Schneller und freundlicher Service, allerdings gerne per Du (mag nicht jeder)... Den einzigen Abzug gibt es beim Ambiente 4/5, da die Parkplatzsituation insbesondere bei gutem Wetter eine Katastrophe ist. Die Vereinsmitglieder des TVK parken da für ihr Training und zudem trainieren da Drachenbootteams. Auch der benachbarte Parkplatz an der Turnhalle/Hespertalbahn ist dann meist belegt. Aber dafür kann der Gastronom Nichts. Mit dem Fahrrad gut zu erreichen und ausreichend Abstellflächen.

Wir haben dort Hochzeit gefeiert und alles war super!

Das Restaurant SEElich ist ein herrlicher Platz um sich wohl zu fühlen. Mit Blick auf den Baldeneysee genießt man auf der tollen Terrasse die Vorfreude auf ein frisch zubereitetes Essen, was liebevoll und gekonnt zubereitet wird. Das SEElich ist eine wunderschöne Location am Baldeneysee und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet🤗. Für die Feier von Freunden war die Beratung im Vorfeld mit den Getränken und Speisen, auch für Vegetarier/Veganer sehr gut mit aufgenommen worden und am Tag sehr schmackhaft und genüsslich aufgetischt worden. Hervorzuheben ist die, neben der obligatorischen Currywurst zur Mitternacht, die vegane Currywurst, die sehr schmackhaft war👍👍👍! Haben richtig lange auf das Essen warten müssen. Das Restaurant war nicht voll bzw. hatten die Tische um uns herum bereits gegegssen. Laut Karte sollte es Rumpsteak mit Bratkartoffeln geben, gebracht wurde es mit wedges die nach nichts ausser Fett geschmeckt haben. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt leider gar nicht. Das Service Personal könnte eine Schulung gut vertragen. Dabei beginnt es schon beim abstellen der Gläser und Getränke. Weiter geht es über die Art und Weise der Kommunikation.

Wir haben dort unsere Feier ausgerichtet und haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Der Kontakt zum Pächter und Team war gut und persönlich! Die Qualität des Essens war ausgezeichnet.

Wir durften eine wunderbare Feier in tollem Ambiente direkt am Baldeneysee erleben. Vom Empfang auf der Terrasse über das hervorragende Ambiente im Lokal bis hin zum aufmerksamen Service, es war alles sehr gut. Hervorzuheben ist sicherlich das grandiose , abwechslungsreiche und frisch zubereitete Essen. Für Vegetarier/ Veganer waren einfallsreiche und sehr leckere Speisen dabei . Lobenswert ist ebenfalls das Weinsortiment. Danke für eine gelungene Feier und bis bald.

Hier wird mit ❤️ gekocht und ein wenig wie bei Muttern. Der Kartoffelsalat war echt der Burner. Die Frikko handgemacht mit selbst durchgelassenem Fleisch, mega. Bin das nächste Mal auf die Königsberger gespannt 🤤 Direkt am See kann man das Geschehen von der Terrasse aus beobachten. 👍🏻

Tolles Restaurant des neuen Pächters Dennis van Gemnern. Er schreibt sich auf die Fahne quasi keine Convinience-Produkte zu benutzen und das schmeckt man! Alleine was aus "Kräuterbutter" in der Karte steht, ist eigentlich eine hausgemachte Zwiebelbutter mit extra dafür gerösteten Zwiebeln, Knoblauch und viel Mühe. Wirklich ein leckeres Erlebnis mit Hausmannskost und einer herrlichen Aussicht. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Super netter Service und qualitativ gutes Essen bei bester Aussicht! Geschmacklich war es nicht so meins was aber eher daran lag dass ich falsch gewählt habe... Komme aber gerne wieder :)

Service Nett und freundlich..Essen hat lange gedauert obwohl kaum Gäste da waren. Die Steaks waren lecker und auf den Punkt gebraten. Schnitzel war OK..aber so bekomme ich es auch woanders. Nur der Koch muss verliebt gewesen sein.. Sowohl die Kartoffelecken als auch die Pommes waren versalzen. Der Ausblick aus dem Fenster ist schön.

Sehr nettes Lokal, das Essen ist abwechslungsreich und vom Inhaber, der begeisterter Koch ist, selbst zubereitet. Die Lage direkt am See ist nicht zu toppen. Es gibt einen großen Aussenbereich, der im Sommer sicher zu entspannten Stunden einlädt. Absolute Empfehlung.

Wir waren am 26.03 mit 6 Personen am Nachmittag essen. Wir waren alle ganz begeistert vom Essen und der sehr freundlichen Bedienung. Das Essen war ein besonderes Gaumen Erlebnis. Wir wünschen ihnen und ihrem Team ganz viel Liebe Gäste.

Es ist sauber, nett eingerichtet, nicht überladen(die deko kann gekauft werden)mit tollem Blick😍 auf den Baldeneysee. Man merkt die liebe zum Beruf❤️. Das Essen ist wie vom Besitzer beschrieben, Hausmannskost mit pfiff und ich finde das es stimmt. Die Karte ist nicht übertrieben voll, weil alles frisch gekocht wird.Der Service ist klasse👍, bei Fragen wird ehrliche Antwort gegeben, alles wird freundlich erklärt. Wir durften heute ein phantastisches VEGANES 5-Gänge Menü genießen! Es war richtig lecker, wunderschön gestaltet und hat gut satt gemacht. Ausserdem gab es noch leckeres selbst gebackenes Spritzgebäck ... Und sowas in Kupferdreh, wo man in einigen Restaurants nicht mal weiss, was vegan bedeutet ...😁 Der Service ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Vielen Dank an das Seelich für das kulinarische Erlebnis!

You've only been here since September... I wish you a good start, in an otherwise difficult environment (keyword: gastronomy). Mmmmh leckeres Essen in gemütlicher Atmosphäre. Im Seelich kann die Seele baumeln.

Sehr schönes Ambiente und sehr gutes Essen. War jetzt zum 2. Mal da, und habe wieder sehr gut gegessen.

Das Restaurant ist ein wenig versteckt, aber von der Lage her super schön. Im Rrstaurant kann man direkt auf den See blicken. Innen ist alles liebevoll dekoriert und versprüht eine Wohlfühlatmosphäre. Der Gasthaus und die Toiletten sind sehr gepflegt und sauber. Das Person ist sehr freundlich, so das man sich sehr willkommen fühlt. Das Essen ist einfach nur lecker 🤤🤤🤤. Ich werde auf jedenfall wieder kommen 😊

Tolles Ambiente, frische und leckere Speisen (für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei vom Fleischesser bis zum Veganer 🥰) und ein überaus freundlicher Inhaber, der sich Zeit für seine Gäste nimmt.
