Wow, such friendly and fun-loving staff! Kudos to the team! We really like the themed menu (Oktoberfest and game were served during our stay). We liked the restaurant so much that on the way back from our vacation we decided to visit the campsite again because of the restaurant! Thank you for the 2 lovely evenings!

This restaurant is located on the campsite but is also accessible to non-campers. We had a very tasty meal here a few times and the atmosphere, location and service staff were also great 👌🏻

It's a very nice restaurant. The only thing I have to complain about is the service. If several empty glasses are not taken with you.

If it is busy I would make a reservation. You can bring dogs. Food is very good.

It's currently wild weeks. I ordered a deer back steak. The side dishes, the ambience, the staff were great. Unfortunately the steak was dead-fried. After complaining, a slightly better one arrived, but I didn't want to complain a second time. Unfortunately it was tough because it was prepared incorrectly. It's a shame because the fun wasn't cheap.

We were there for coffee on a Sunday afternoon. Very nice staff and the cake was very tasty. I think there were 8 different types and everything was homemade. Next time we visit we will eat. The card sounds very good. So we'll be back.

Two weeks ago my wife and I made a two-day stopover at the Falkensteinsee campsite (very nice campsite) during our camping holiday. Here we also visited the SeeHuus restaurant on the site, which is also accessible to non-campers. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The view of the lake immediately puts you in a holiday mood. Highly recommended.

Chic restaurant right on the lake with a large outdoor terrace and some seats inside. Lots of nice employees and fast service. Delicious food!! Cozy on the terrace overlooking the lake!!

Really surprisingly good restaurant for a campsite. Very high quality food. Very good salads and pizzas. A bit expensive, but on a campsite. Price performance is good in my opinion.

We had ordered a table for 5 people. Drinks and food were consumed quickly. Then we had to wait an hour for our food, when it came all the other food except for one was cold and partly burnt. Yes, we could have returned it, but we were hungry and didn't want to wait that long again. When the condition came and we said it, there was no reaction. We could have responded with a small gesture. It's a shame and I raved so much about the restaurant during our visit.

Despite it being full, the staff were friendly and catered to the special needs of our child.

The schnitzel was a disaster, the taste was bad (frozen goods) and that was not acceptable for €20. It's a shame because the ambience and service are great

The Seehuus restaurant is a great address on Lake Falkenstein. Great food, friendly team and a great atmosphere.

Really really tasty. The waiters took their time with the guests despite it being very full. The food is a little more expensive than average but you can tell by the quality on the plate. The portions were also good. Kudos to the chef 👍🏻

We ate in the restaurant twice during our stay, but will also come back without staying at the campsite. The food was very, very tasty and the portion sizes were appropriate, not too little, not too much. Child friendly and also nice with the lake view. The service was also very friendly and both times (lunchtime and evening) it was quick without any noticeable waiting times. We would love to come back 😋

Due to a lack of staff, we had to wait a long time, but we were still kept happy and were rewarded for the waiting time with top food You shouldn't necessarily let every guest in and stop early so as not to overload the kitchen unnecessarily We'll definitely come back

This morning we had breakfast there. It was great. Afterwards we walked around the area for some time. A very nice campsite with a swimming lake.

Today we were guests at the lake and had lunch in the Seehuus. With our two families we had 4 children with us. Order placed. No water was delivered. We waited 50 minutes for the food (burger with fries). We put a lot of effort into keeping our children happy for these 50 minutes. Not all tables were occupied! When we left we paid and told the children that they could go ahead. At the entrance, our children were stopped by an employee who warned them that they should behave because guests wanted to be left alone. (The kids laughed hand to hand and behaved. The food was very tasty. This was our 3rd visit to the restaurant and each time we had to wait an extremely long time. Unfortunately, the “rejection” of the employee “ruined” our day today. We thought it was a child-friendly campsite. Greetings from a Ganderkeseer family

The food at SeeHuus is delicious, but also reasonably priced. As a camper you definitely don't go there regularly. Antipasti are not as I know them. The waitress spoke of red cabbage and couscous. Unfortunately, waiting times are long at the moment. I think it's hard to find more staff. The campsite is so great and wonderful for children. However, I miss an area in the restaurant where they can occupy themselves. A painting corner would be enough. You don't want to let the children get up because the area for operation is narrow enough. Unrest quickly arises. Therefore for our purpose as guests of the campsite only two stars. A restaurant nearby makes it easier for families with children.

This place is right on the lake. Fantastic view. Beautiful ambience. Mega friendly staff. The selection of dishes is clear. For me personally, the prices for a restaurant on a campsite are a bit steep.

Very nice gastronomy on the campsite. The food is high quality. We had two different schnitzels and an appetizer each. The schnitzels were without exception good. I was impressed by the sauce, which was obviously homemade. The only thing that bothered me about the bruschetta was the untoasted bread, which absorbed the liquid from the topping and made it a bit sticky. The taste was great and still 5 stars for the food. The service is remarkably friendly and makes you look forward to seeing you again!

We were at the campsite for a week and, as usual, didn't cook on the evening before last and ate at SeeHuus. Particularly noteworthy is the extremely good mood of the entire staff and the politeness with which you are served. This seems absolutely real and not, as one might assume from a place with such fluctuation, somehow artificial and rehearsed. When it comes to food, I have to say that my wife and I are not only professionals (i.e. we earn our living from food), but also have a very special attitude towards taste, ingredients and sustainability. Accordingly, I wouldn't actually rate a place like that because we almost never eat at places like that. You can find us more in supper clubs and in low and slow food cuisine, with fresh ingredients and a move away from mass meat farming. I can only speculate to what extent this applies here. But I would particularly like to emphasize that there is a vegetarian schnitzel. Because of the horrible politics of the last 100 years and following, this is of course more expensive than the mass-produced product because it is subsidized (yes, I eat meat, but very little, almost none at all, and if then only ultra organic, but still fatal for the product). Since I would never have expected this to be on the menu and I've only been trying to live a vegan and mostly vegetarian life for a year, I of course had to try it and was able to try my wife's meat schnitzel for comparison. And what can I say: It's not just a vegetarian ready-made product (somehow, of course) on the plate, but a delicious homemade sauce and really (for our standards near the border with Belgium: fries vs. French fries), really good ones Fries. The regular schnitzel was just as good. My in-laws had the pork schnitzel and were also very satisfied. In terms of price, the whole thing was absolutely reasonable (we usually spend a lot more money on eating out and therefore had no expectations!) and then the atmosphere on site was top notch! We felt completely comfortable. I don't normally rate places like this because they can only ever get 3 stars in my betting scheme. And since the run-of-the-mill internet user thinks anything under 5 stars is bad, I'm giving 5 stars here, which is a little outside my rating comfort zone. For the great friendliness, the vegetarian alternative, a small but fine menu and the claim to produce fair food for everyone at a reasonable price. This is absolutely fitting for the location and is therefore more than successful. That certainly sounds a bit arrogant, but that's not what it's meant to be. We have very good taste and, to be honest, this has probably often prevented us from entering a restaurant because we were prejudiced. Due to the lack of alternatives, we couldn't avoid it and were allowed to expect anything, even the good! So: Recommended for anyone who would like to have a good time. Not a great culinary success, but what was on the plate was nicely presented, professionally prepared with a lot of effort and was reasonably priced. I won't remember the taste forever, but when we come back, a visit to the restaurant is a must. Just because of the very tasty beer, which is regionally brewed on site (really excellent). If it were up to me, there should only be places that surprise with their taste and not: "If the farmer doesn't know, he won't eat." In this respect, I'm not the target group here, but I was still convinced and am happy to recommend it! Sorry for the tip. My in-laws are a bit older and we only found out afterwards that they had given very little! It wasn't your fault at all, we'll make it up to you next time!

We've eaten at your place several times now and the food has always been really good. This time, however, after a request, criticism was expressed because the ribs were very gristle-heavy and also very fatty. It can happen. The waitress handled the nice criticism very unprofessionally, picked at my food and said that that was what her customers wanted. But I wanted to pass on the criticism to the kitchen, which they didn't do and then didn't serve us anymore. The service is dark-haired, not that tall and also a little cheeky, which I actually think is a good thing. In this case, however, very negative. It was no longer visible at our table either. That is not how it works. Otherwise, all other service in the restaurant was super good

Tijdens ons verblijf op de camping hebben we hier iedere avond gegeten. Het eten is geweldig: verse ingredienten, heerlijk van smaak, er is voor ieder wat wils en de prijzen zijn volledig in orde. Uit alles blijkt dat het team van dit restaurant passie voor het vak heeft. Omdat het restaurant ook veelvuldig wordt bezocht door de lokale inwoners uit de buurt, is het aan te raden om te reserveren. Onze persoonlijke aanrader: de burgers!

We ate here every evening during our stay at the campsite. There is a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere despite the fact that it was packed every evening. The restaurant is also frequently visited by local residents of the area: always a good sign in terms of quality! The food tasted delicious and the price-quality ratio is great. Our personal recommendations: the burgers!

Went there with 2 children and just wanted to eat something “quickly”. This would result in 2 hours of feasting and enjoyment in a great ambience with great service and very tasty food. Edit: I was there again today and all I can say is "everything was great"! Super fast and friendly service, great food, great ambience by the lake.

Good cuisine, the staff attentive and friendly. Higher price level, the menu can only be ordered to a limited extent from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. For €19 I found the portion of fried potatoes a bit too small. The fried potatoes were good and the schnitzel was excellent

A great restaurant on the best campsite in northern Germany! When it gets busy the staff starts to sweat. But with the personnel problems at the moment, I understand that. The service is sometimes a little overwhelmed, but always friendly. The food is delicious. This time there was schnitzel. For my taste only a 4 out of 5. Everyone has to judge that for themselves. Overall, it's worth a visit, even if you're not camping on site. I was able to witness the development from the beginning and it only got better. I look forward to the next visits. I can really only recommend it.

It's not for nothing that this campsite has 5 stars. Everything is great. There are plenty of ways for children and adults to pass the time or make yourself comfortable on the Seehous terrace.

The restaurant has a beautiful location right on the lake and makes a well-kept impression. The prices are acceptable.

Rated generously because the food was really good! The restaurant wasn't full, after 15 minutes we were asked if we had ordered everything - the answer was "No, we don't even have a menu", a menu was then brought to us, after another 5 minutes they came to us and asked if we had want something to drink. After another 15 minutes the drinks arrived (my cocktail was missing a straw, it had to be brought to me immediately, they said, my husband got up after 5 minutes and got me one). Our order was taken at the same time. Another 15 minutes later our starter arrived, we ordered bruscetta together. This was very tasty, but the plate with the 4 slices that we wanted to share was placed on the table without any additional plates to take down. The fries that we had ordered for our son (1.5 years old) did not come with us, perhaps we should have mentioned that we wanted this. After staying for more than an hour, our son no longer wanted to sit in the high chair, which we were kind enough to fetch ourselves after directions. So my husband went with our son from the restaurant to the lake to keep him busy. 10 minutes later I called him to say that food was there. The tomahawk was completely fried, at first you were upset BUT it was really tender and juicy. (However, in my opinion, the service should have asked this) My noodles were nicely prepared, but for my taste they could have stayed in the pot a little longer as they were very firm to the bite, and this was also bearable. The chicken with the noodles was perfect! In terms of taste, both dishes were really well rounded. The fries for our son were plentiful and also delicious. To drink there was light and dark Hefeweizen as well as the non-alcoholic “Harry Potter” cocktail! CLASS !!! The personal highlight was the iced chocolate that I shared with our son. Not too sweet and for me personally the most important thing is NO READY SPRAY CREAM! Conclusion - gladly again to see whether the service can be different (even if the ladies and gentlemen were very nice), the ideas regarding the cooking levels will be taken into the kitchen in the future.

I regularly go to Seehuus for breakfast once a month (during the season). Service and the ambience are great. Unfortunately there is no fish at the buffet.

This is how service works in the catering industry, thank you very much for your preferred hospitality, even after our mishap! We knocked over a drink right at the beginning and made a huge mess, sorry again! We were guests as a family with three generations and everyone was very satisfied with the food served, some of which we ordered completely different than what was offered on the menu. So a burger became a minced steak with fried potatoes, completely suitable for seniors. That's what we call times flexibility! We'll definitely be happy to come back again and again and want to behave better next time! Many greetings to the Seehuus team and keep up the good work!

Breakfast treat on Easter Monday... Despite the rainy weather, the visit was a complete success. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in a beautiful atmosphere with a great view. If the weather was sunny we could have sat on the existing terrace, but it was too cold and wet. The buffet was extensive and there was something for every taste... there was even vegan spread! Unfortunately there were few regional products available, in the surrounding towns you can buy homemade jams in the farm shop, so I expected to find these and other regional products there...be that as it may: The visit was worth it and we were definitely not there for the last time. The service was great and, despite the missing table plan, everyone got a seat. Many thanks to the SeeHuus team!

Falkensteinsee is a well-known and popular address among campers. Since the new campsite operators took over, the SeeHuus on the site has also established itself among local residents and in the region. The furnishings are harmonious, cozy, clean and there are small, loving details everywhere that you can discover again and again. The kitchen is open and visible, the toilets are well maintained and always clean. The staff is always friendly, knows how to deal with children and well-behaved dogs are also no problem. The menu offers something for everyone, plus seasonal dishes, such as the deer burger during the hunting weeks. Extra requests are no problem and brunch is also possible here. There is also space for celebrations, whether birthdays, weddings or anniversaries, the managers are very close and strive to fulfill your wishes. The kitchen is pretty good. The price-performance ratio is 100% It is better to reserve in advance for weekends and public holidays.

You can celebrate your birthday or other festivities here. The only downside for me. I enjoy Beck's Blue This is not on offer.

I have rarely eaten such a good capaccio. My other guests had game goulash and duck. It looked careless on the plate. Like in a canteen. You should think about it. It's a shame because the food was good.

Sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre, super nettes Personal. Wir kommen oft und gerne und das Essen ist ausgezeichnet (5* an die Roulade) und vielfältig. Jeder findet etwas. Viel Auswahl auch für Vegetarier. Die Sommerterrasse ist großartig. Ab und zu etwas laut, aber das ist auch das einzige, was manchmal etwas stört.
