We visited the restaurant for the first time while meeting friends and were very pleased. Very friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere, and excellent food—we'll be happy to return.

Not recommended. At first, we were skillfully ignored at reception. After we were finally assigned a table, it took 25 minutes until we were allowed to order, despite repeated requests ("Can we order?" "Not now"). The food was delivered just as late as it took us to pay. This, too, didn't go smoothly. We had to ask several times. The payment process took just as long. Conclusion: We might come back again to see for ourselves that things can be done differently.

We were at the Seehus with a group. We sat in the conservatory. Everything went perfectly.

Actually a great restaurant, but yesterday an absolute disaster. For a Jägerschnitzel with fried potatoes €22.50 and the portion is smaller than a children's plate, not ok and unreasonable after a personal complaint. Too bad, never again.

I can only recommend this restaurant to a limited extent. The food was delicious, the service was very friendly and accommodating. The location is beautiful. Unfortunately the price/performance ratio is not right at all. The food tastes good, but the portions are extremely small. 8 shrimps (the size of a thumbnail) with 3 small slices of baguette bread for €14. You can have this in fine dining, but not in a restaurant attached to a campsite. In any case, I won't recommend it.

The development of Lake Falkenstein is amazing and beautiful to watch. Anyone who knows the campsite and lake from before knows what I mean. My mother had a permanent place here for around 18 years.

The food is always delicious. There is something for everyone. Be it vegetarian, vegan or “normal” food. Unfortunately, we personally found the portions too small. But that varies from person to person. Nevertheless, we would like to come back

The food was good, but not great. The portions were okay. I had the schnitzel. The service was super friendly and fast. Great decor, lovely terrace by the lake. What I personally didn't like at all were the surcharges for absolutely everything. I wanted the schnitzel without pineapple, and I had to pay a €1 "reorder" surcharge. The schnitzel came with fries, and the waitress asked if I wanted ketchup or mayo. I chose mayo, which was an 80-cent surcharge, of course. I wanted to take some leftovers to go, and of course, without any prior notice, I was immediately charged €1.50. I don't think at these prices (schnitzel topped with cheese and ham = €18), it doesn't leave me with a good feeling to live with all these surcharges... What a shame!

We were in a larger group because of the food. At the same time, the food was good, the service was friendly, everything was great. You can also drive through the barrier in winter to the restaurant and back out again. No problem at all, if it wasn't too far away we would come back.

The SeeHuus team does a great job!! We were there with a large group of over 40 people for the barbecue buffet. The service and also the quality of the food was overwhelming!! We were definitely not there for the last time!!

We were there last night (Saturday) and what can I say? It was a successful evening! We received a friendly welcome, were immediately given a menu, the attentive waiter took the order very quickly and we promptly had our drinks on the table. The food came quickly and was very good and tasty! We will make the drive to this restaurant again from Bremen because we liked it there better than the restaurants we know in Bremen.

It's currently wild weeks. I ordered a deer back steak. The side dishes, the ambience, the staff were great. Unfortunately the steak was dead-fried. After complaining, a slightly better one arrived, but I didn't want to complain a second time. Unfortunately it was tough because it was prepared incorrectly. Two weeks ago my wife and I made a two-day stopover at the Falkensteinsee campsite (very nice campsite) during our camping holiday. Here we also visited the SeeHuus restaurant on the site, which is also accessible to non-campers. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The view of the lake immediately puts you in a holiday mood. Highly recommended.

We had ordered a table for 5 people. Drinks and food were consumed quickly. Then we had to wait an hour for our food, when it came all the other food except for one was cold and partly burnt. Yes, we could have returned it, but we were hungry and didn't want to wait that long again. When the condition came and we said it, there was no reaction. We could have responded with a small gesture. It's a shame and I raved so much about the restaurant during our visit.

We ate in the restaurant twice during our stay, but will also come back without staying at the campsite. This morning we had breakfast there. It was great. Afterwards we walked around the area for some time. A very nice campsite with a swimming lake.

Today we were guests at the lake and had lunch in the Seehuus. With our two families we had 4 children with us. Order placed. No water was delivered. We waited 50 minutes for the food (burger with fries). We put a lot of effort into keeping our children happy for these 50 minutes. Not all tables were occupied! When we left we paid and told the children that they could go ahead. At the entrance, our children were stopped by an employee who warned them that they should behave because guests wanted to be left alone. (The kids laughed hand to hand and behaved. The food was very tasty. This was our 3rd visit to the restaurant and each time we had to wait an extremely long time. Unfortunately, the “rejection” of the employee “ruined” our day today. The food at SeeHuus is delicious, but also reasonably priced. As a camper you definitely don't go there regularly. Antipasti are not as I know them. The waitress spoke of red cabbage and couscous. Unfortunately, waiting times are long at the moment. I think it's hard to find more staff. The campsite is so great and wonderful for children. However, I miss an area in the restaurant where they can occupy themselves. A painting corner would be enough. You don't want to let the children get up because the area for operation is narrow enough. Unrest quickly arises. Therefore for our purpose as guests of the campsite only two stars. A restaurant nearby makes it easier for families with children.

This place is right on the lake. Fantastic view. Beautiful ambience. Mega friendly staff. The selection of dishes is clear. For me personally, the prices for a restaurant on a campsite are a bit steep.

Very nice gastronomy on the campsite. The food is high quality. We had two different schnitzels and an appetizer each. The schnitzels were without exception good. I was impressed by the sauce, which was obviously homemade. The only thing that bothered me about the bruschetta was the untoasted bread, which absorbed the liquid from the topping and made it a bit sticky. The taste was great and still 5 stars for the food. The service is remarkably friendly and makes you look forward to seeing you again!

We were at the campsite for a week and, as usual, didn't cook on the evening before last and ate at SeeHuus. Particularly noteworthy is the extremely good mood of the entire staff and the politeness with which you are served. This seems absolutely real and not, as one might assume from a place with such fluctuation, somehow artificial and rehearsed. When it comes to food, I have to say that my wife and I are not only professionals (i.e. we earn our living from food), but also have a very special attitude towards taste, ingredients and sustainability. Accordingly, I wouldn't actually rate a place like that because we almost never eat at places like that. You can find us more in supper clubs and in low and slow food cuisine, with fresh ingredients and a move away from mass meat farming. I can only speculate to what extent this applies here. But I would particularly like to emphasize that there is a vegetarian schnitzel. Because of the horrible politics of the last 100 years and following, this is of course more expensive than the mass-produced product because it is subsidized (yes, I eat meat, but very little, almost none at all, and if then only ultra organic, but still fatal for the product). Since I would never have expected this to be on the menu and I've only been trying to live a vegan and mostly vegetarian life for a year, I of course had to try it and was able to try my wife's meat schnitzel for comparison. And what can I say: It's not just a vegetarian ready-made product (somehow, of course) on the plate, but a delicious homemade sauce and really (for our standards near the border with Belgium: fries vs. French fries), really good ones Fries. The regular schnitzel was just as good. My in-laws had the pork schnitzel and were also very satisfied. In terms of price, the whole thing was absolutely reasonable (we usually spend a lot more money on eating out and therefore had no expectations!) and then the atmosphere on site was top notch! We felt completely comfortable. I don't normally rate places like this because they can only ever get 3 stars in my betting scheme. And since the run-of-the-mill internet user thinks anything under 5 stars is bad, I'm giving 5 stars here, which is a little outside my rating comfort zone. For the great friendliness, the vegetarian alternative, a small but fine menu and the claim to produce fair food for everyone at a reasonable price. This is absolutely fitting for the location and is therefore more than successful. That certainly sounds a bit arrogant, but that's not what it's meant to be. We have very good taste and, to be honest, this has probably often prevented us from entering a restaurant because we were prejudiced. Due to the lack of alternatives, we couldn't avoid it and were allowed to expect anything, even the good! So: Recommended for anyone who would like to have a good time. Not a great culinary success, but what was on the plate was nicely presented, professionally prepared with a lot of effort and was reasonably priced. I won't remember the taste forever, but when we come back, a visit to the restaurant is a must. Just because of the very tasty beer, which is regionally brewed on site (really excellent). If it were up to me, there should only be places that surprise with their taste and not: "If the farmer doesn't know, he won't eat." In this respect, I'm not the target group here, but I was still convinced and am happy to recommend it! Sorry for the tip. My in-laws are a bit older and we only found out afterwards that they had given very little! It wasn't your fault at all, we'll make it up to you next time!

We've eaten at your place several times now and the food has always been really good. This time, however, after a request, criticism was expressed because the ribs were very gristle-heavy and also very fatty. It can happen. The waitress handled the nice criticism very unprofessionally, picked at my food and said that that was what her customers wanted. But I wanted to pass on the criticism to the kitchen, which they didn't do and then didn't serve us anymore. The service is dark-haired, not that tall and also a little cheeky, which I actually think is a good thing. In this case, however, very negative. It was no longer visible at our table either. That is not how it works. Otherwise, all other service in the restaurant was super good
