Simply delicious! The Jägerschnitzel is sooooo good!

Friendly staff, great food, a very nice atmosphere, and our little "man" was also warmly welcomed. He even got a treat.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, we immediately noticed a lack of service. We were completely ignored at the entrance for several minutes before finally being shown to a table – without an apology. The table we had originally been assigned was still occupied, and the guests there were unwilling to vacate it, so we were simply moved to another area. While this wasn't a problem, it gave the impression of being disorganized and unprofessional. Our order was taken quickly, but there were discrepancies with several dishes. Since we wanted to avoid any food being thrown away, we accepted them – a gesture that unfortunately turned out to be a disadvantage when it came time to pay. For example, omitting the bacon from an appetizer resulted in an extra charge of €1 – with the explanation that it was simply a change to the order. Another dish, despite being ordered correctly, was served incorrectly and also incorrectly billed. Even replacing a side dish, which was forgotten at the end and brought after we pointed it out, resulted in an additional charge of €3.50. A simple table swap with another person who was also making a change would have avoided these extra charges. Such pricing practices seem unfriendly and leave a very questionable impression. Throughout our entire visit, no member of staff checked on us to see if everything was alright or if we were enjoying our meal. The food tasted okay, but it fell far short of what one would expect at the price. Apart from the friendly waitress who took our order, the service staff seemed grumpy and unmotivated. Friendliness and attentiveness, which should be standard in the restaurant industry, were largely absent. Overall, the visit was disappointing. It's particularly baffling that even removing ingredients from our order was treated as a chargeable change. We found this approach unfriendly and incomprehensible. Therefore, we are certain that this was our first and last visit to this restaurant.

This was our first time at Seehuus, and we really enjoyed it. The service was attentive, friendly, and quick! The food was delicious! We'll definitely be back.

We cannot recommend this restaurant. The mixed grill my husband and I ordered had one piece of meat that was very dry and tough, the chicken was dripping with fat, and the third piece of meat was edible but tasteless. The salad had only three drops of dressing. The chimichurri consisted only of parsley and oil; it wasn't seasoned at all. The drinks were ridiculously overpriced for a restaurant at a campsite—very disappointing.

Great location by the lake. Unfortunately, the staff was quite rude. I wasn't aware that you have to pay extra for changes to your order, like removing the bacon. I changed a side dish on my main course, which included an unwanted thick black hair, and was charged a hefty fee for it! The frozen schnitzel wasn't great either. Sadly, that was my last visit to this restaurant.

We visited SeeHuus for the first time today and were absolutely thrilled. The service was prompt and friendly, even though it was really busy, which speaks volumes. The food and drinks arrived quickly and were delicious. A generous portion was very filling. Highly recommended!

Large restaurant on the campsite. Open year-round, every day of the week. Beautiful decor, good food.

Pleasant atmosphere. Friendly and attentive service. The food was good but a bit too salty. We were there in the evening. The view of the lake from the restaurant during the day is certainly pleasant. The restaurant is located somewhat secluded, in a small, enclosed and quiet lake and complex with holiday apartments. To access the premises, you have to go through a barrier, but it opens automatically. There's no charge. It takes a bit of getting used to at first.

We were there with seven adults and two children for a cabbage dinner. We had a very good spot, even with a highchair and stroller. Excellent service and very good food. A very nice, open atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

A week ago, four of us went to the restaurant and wanted a delicious burger. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. For example, we didn't want the pineapple in our chicken burger. The extra work (!) would have cost an additional €1. The waiter's tip: Take the pineapple yourself. This was impossible because the cheese had completely melted into the pineapple. We could do a lot with the cutlery, but we couldn't eat a burger. A steak knife – which we requested – would have been helpful. Overall, we probably won't be coming back. The price/performance ratio wasn't right either.

We spent two lovely days at the campsite and visited the restaurant both evenings. The atmosphere was lovely and pleasant, with polite staff. The dishes on the first evening (chicken and schnitzel) were good, but the venison from the game menu on the second evening was so tough that it was almost impossible to cut or enjoy, and the side dishes were barely warm. We didn't finish the meat.

We were at Falkensteinsee last weekend and went to the restaurant with four people and three dogs for coffee and fresh cake in the afternoon, and then dinner. The food was amazing, incredibly delicious, and the waiters were always in a great mood. Super friendly and always up for a chat. We felt very comfortable and would definitely recommend it.

The bistro has now become a restaurant, with friendly service, many veggie dishes, and burgers with wedges cost €17.

We spent a weekend at the campsite and took a salad from the restaurant in the evening. Unfortunately, it was way overpriced for our taste. No "special" ingredients... and the quality was poor (rotten leaves). Instead of simply making us a new, fresh salad, we were told that wasn't right and then even received another, not-so-fresh salad. Customers weren't king here. What a pity.

Truly disappointing. We were at Seehuus today and received prompt and friendly service. The food, however, was very disappointing. The fries with the schnitzel were only lukewarm and tasted stale. When we wanted to pay, we had to wait at least 15 minutes for someone to take the cash. But the absolute worst was that we were then asked to pay an extra €1 for the chicken burger WITHOUT pineapple. You can only shake your head at that. In any case, this was definitely our last visit to Seehuus.

We were at the campsite for a long weekend and also visited the Seehuus restaurant. On Thursday, the place was full, the service was friendly, the food was good, and I would have given it 4 stars! Then on Saturday, there was a big fundraising run on the site, so we made another reservation. At 7:00 p.m., the place wasn't full (less than on Thursday), but everyone without a reservation was still turned away. We had our spot and ordered two drinks. After 27 minutes, no drinks, but they asked what we wanted to eat! When I asked about the drinks and how long the food would take, they said 30-45 minutes!! Hello... did we make a reservation, and we've already been waiting 27 minutes for the drinks!? I then decided not to have the food and canceled the drinks, to which I was told... others are waiting even longer! Sorry, maybe we should accept fewer events if we can't manage the normal business on site. There was also a birthday party. They obviously didn't even know that the fundraising run was taking place AND that the site was fully booked. Therefore, a maximum of 2 stars. It's a shame there's no tour guide to help organize the place.

I spent my weekend at the campsite. In the evening, I went to the Seehuus Restaurant for dinner. The service was super attentive and friendly. The food and drinks arrived quickly and were very presentable and delicious! The prices were a bit higher, but still reasonable. I would come back for dinner anytime ☺️

A really surprisingly good restaurant for a campsite. Very high-quality food. Very good salads and pizzas. A bit expensive, but then again, it's a campsite. The price/performance ratio is good in my opinion. Update 2025: Oh man. I just have to praise the pulled pork pizza. Based on the recommendation of the very friendly waitress on the phone, I let myself be persuaded to try a pulled pork pizza. One of the tastiest, if not THE tastiest pizzas I've ever had. Fantastic! Very tender, homemade pulled pork and a very, very mild BBQ sauce (not really my thing, but really subtle here). Truly top-notch! Not exactly cheap, but the extra cost for the salami is so worth it! 😊👍🏼

The restaurant is beautifully located on the campsite, right by the lake. Despite being busy, the food came quickly. The portions were plentiful and not overly generous. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We'd love to come back!

As a long-term camper, I've already tried every dish on the menu. I highly recommend the Seehuus restaurant. The number of times I eat and enjoy myself here reflects my enthusiasm. The wonderful view of the lake, with the happy children splashing around in the background, is simply unbeatable. It's always wonderful how peaceful it is with so many dogs in the restaurant. Thanks to the Seehuus team.

We made a reservation and dined at the restaurant as part of a family celebration. They catered to a vegetarian diet and a diverse nutritional approach, which was fantastic! The ambiance is absolutely beautiful, right by the lake, and the surrounding greenery is beautifully landscaped. The staff was attentive, enthusiastic, and humorous. Dogs are welcome, and that's one of the reasons why we felt completely at home there. :D Thanks to the team!

Sunday, July 27, 2025, 4:10 p.m. The server came to our table relatively quickly. She was friendly, our order was taken at 4:20 p.m., with the note that the kitchen wouldn't start serving until 4:30 p.m. The food arrived at our table at 4:35 p.m. Sparribs—I wasn't impressed. Not quite hot, very greasy, not grilled, at best, piping hot. To me, they weren't spareribs, but prime rib. My husband ordered a burger, which was very tasty and ample and beautifully presented. After we finished our meal, we sat with our plates for 25 minutes. No one came to clear away or ask if we wanted anything else. I then got up and spoke to a server. I also expressed my displeasure. The young man said he was sorry. A no-go for us. So at that time, only four tables outside were occupied. Inside, the staff were busy chatting with each other. Will Frieso's review (camping check rested?) be taken into account? We think that's a real shame, which is precisely why we went to Falkensteinersee. And even more regrettable, because the ambiance of the restaurant is very nice.

You can feel the owner's soul. Delicious food is served in a friendly manner and with a smile. We really like the place and have been there several times. Always a wonderful time for us. Wow We ate at table 68 today, on the terrace. Besides the beautiful ambiance, we felt completely at home. The restaurant is located in the middle of the campsite. Access and parking are free. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. The entrance to the restaurant, the terrace, and the restroom are wheelchair accessible. Cleanliness is a top priority. Bravo! The service is very friendly and fast. High praise for the kitchen. There was no criticism. We were passing through and found the SeeHuus using Google Maps. We'd love to come back again when we get the chance!

Not recommended at all. We wanted to eat inside with our children and were told it would take a while, and that it would be quicker outside. The waitresses were unfriendly and showed no understanding. After a long back and forth, the pizza didn't arrive for an hour, and there was no compensation.

Not recommended. At first, we were skillfully ignored at reception. After we were finally assigned a table, it took 25 minutes until we were allowed to order, despite repeated requests ("Can we order?" "Not now"). The food was delivered just as late as it took us to pay. This, too, didn't go smoothly. We had to ask several times. The payment process took just as long. Conclusion: We might come back again to see for ourselves that things can be done differently.

Actually a great restaurant, but yesterday an absolute disaster. For a Jägerschnitzel with fried potatoes €22.50 and the portion is smaller than a children's plate, not ok and unreasonable after a personal complaint. Too bad, never again.

Price-performance doesn't fit at all anymore. Portions very, very small. Very unfortunate.

I can only recommend this restaurant to a limited extent. The food was delicious, the service was very friendly and accommodating. The location is beautiful. Unfortunately the price/performance ratio is not right at all. The food tastes good, but the portions are extremely small. 8 shrimps (the size of a thumbnail) with 3 small slices of baguette bread for €14. You can have this in fine dining, but not in a restaurant attached to a campsite. In any case, I won't recommend it.

The development of Lake Falkenstein is amazing and beautiful to watch. Anyone who knows the campsite and lake from before knows what I mean. My mother had a permanent place here for around 18 years.

The food is always delicious. There is something for everyone. Be it vegetarian, vegan or “normal” food. Unfortunately, we personally found the portions too small. But that varies from person to person. Nevertheless, we would like to come back

The food was good, but not great. The portions were okay. I had the schnitzel. The service was super friendly and fast. Great decor, lovely terrace by the lake. What I personally didn't like at all were the surcharges for absolutely everything. I wanted the schnitzel without pineapple, and I had to pay a €1 "reorder" surcharge. The schnitzel came with fries, and the waitress asked if I wanted ketchup or mayo. I chose mayo, which was an 80-cent surcharge, of course. I wanted to take some leftovers to go, and of course, without any prior notice, I was immediately charged €1.50. I don't think at these prices (schnitzel topped with cheese and ham = €18), it doesn't leave me with a good feeling to live with all these surcharges... What a shame!

We were in a larger group because of the food. At the same time, the food was good, the service was friendly, everything was great. You can also drive through the barrier in winter to the restaurant and back out again. No problem at all, if it wasn't too far away we would come back.

The starter plate is sad and far too expensive for 26 euros There are 4 slices of baguette bread, which is rather little for a starter for 2 just like there are 2 kibbeling bites and 2 squid rings The hummus that is served is very thin and tastes more like a sauce Grill plate 3 Musketeers is fine, but why the cast iron plate with a wooden top is not used so that the food is served on it while still hot is a mystery to me The sauce is thick and sweet Kassler is 3 half slices, the mashed potatoes are more coarse than creamy, a layer had already formed on the sauce for both main dishes and everything was rather lukewarm only the red cabbage was really hot The service was nice and helpful, so the service didn't fail The shop certainly gets a lot of customers who are only there because of the lake However, the view and the location are great only the restaurant was rather disappointing
