Unfortunately, I was disappointed. A non-alcoholic shandy only allows one liter, or you can get two half-liters. We only wanted one half-liter. That didn't work. The prices were absolutely overpriced. My father is in a wheelchair - accessible restroom in the basement - I mean, hey, how are we supposed to get down there? A shrug. I was directed to the kiosk in the parking lot. 800 meters further on - unbelievable how discriminatory that was for my father, who urgently needed to use the restroom. Absolutely unacceptable. Never again. It's absurd not to have an accessible restroom at ground level.

The location right on the lake is of course great. The food, currywurst with fries, tasted great. The price, on the other hand, is less, especially for self-service.

YOU MADE MY DAY! We always enjoy visiting the waterfront beer garden. Delicious food and drinks fortify us on our bike rides. The staff is always friendly and attentive. On one of my last visits, I lost the spare lenses for my sports glasses. I was actually able to get them back today from a very friendly employee. Beautiful view, mediocre food, hefty prices. We sat in the outdoor area of ​​the restaurant, overlooking the lake. It was surprisingly quiet, and the service was friendly and prompt. The food selection is traditionally southern German, nothing particularly remarkable that you can't find in most Bavarian restaurants. The food preparation and quality are also average and rather one-dimensional, nothing outstanding. The pricing is correspondingly surprising. Given the high prices, we would have expected a taste experience from the selection and, above all, the quality, but we were unfortunately disappointed. Furthermore, when we paid the bill by card, we were automatically forced to add an additional "tip," which I find presumptuous. Aside from the beautiful lake view, it's only moderately recommended.

We were invited to a wedding at Seehaus Schreiegg and were absolutely thrilled! The location directly on the lake is simply stunning – a wonderful backdrop for special occasions. The service was outstanding: super friendly, professional, and always attentive. Guests felt truly welcome. The food was also very good – fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented. There was something for everyone, and the quality was consistently top-notch. Overall, an absolutely successful celebration in a fantastic location. I'm only writing about the self-service at the beer garden, and it's unbelievable how much you get for a roll here. It borders on rip-offs of tourists in Italy, not a beer garden in Bavaria. For example, a fish roll costs 9.20 with self-service. The pictures of the roast roll speak louder than words :-( Sad for Bavaria and this beautiful region.

I celebrated my birthday at the restaurant. The planning process was straightforward, and the staff was always flexible and accommodating to my requests. The food was served promptly and tasted excellent. A successful event, I'd love to do it again!

We celebrated our mother's 90th birthday. It was perfect. In the afternoon, we were able to enjoy a wonderful coffee outside on the terrace. Restaurant with a beer garden right on the lake. Upscale prices, unusual dishes on offer. We had a Wiener Schnitzel in the restaurant. The meat quality was good, but the size was a bit disappointing for the price. We had been to the Seepost in Schondorf a few days earlier; the quality was the same, but it was significantly larger. Fried parsley was served as a garnish. Since it uses a bit of butter after frying, you could skip it or opt for a Parmesan chip. There's also a self-service beer garden attached to the restaurant. We were there during the week. I think you should make a reservation on weekends.

Very unfriendly service. We wanted a quick bite to eat and a coffee, and we were directed to the beer garden, even though there were plenty of free tables. If I wanted to go to the beer garden, I would have been there, too.

The price-performance ratio should really be good, but we were proven wrong. The prices are very high and we thought the food should taste good, but we were proven wrong. The roast pork was very tough; you couldn't eat half the meat. The sauce was packet sauce. You had to search for the dressing and the anchovy in the Caesar salad, and there was only one. The only thing that was halfway decent was the onion roast beef, but the cheese spaetzle were simply disgusting with ready-made seasoning. Really disappointing. For a restaurant like that to serve guests such rubbish for that price. Once and never again!!!

I was so looking forward to something good to eat because I've known Seehaus Schreyegg for a long time but haven't been here for a long time. As nice as the ambience is, the food is more like a meal. A fish roll for 9€ Where there's a sourcream sauce on it, it's cheaper and better at Oktoberfest. The meat planter is roughly equivalent to what we give our dog out of the can to eat every evening. Potato salad from the bucket! And that in a Bavarian economy. They should be ashamed! You could actually just puke if you could only eat enough here...

We were invited there yesterday for a 60th birthday. As a former self-employed restaurateur, my wife and I were totally thrilled. Service is celebrated here, as well as great cuisine. Right on the lake with a beautiful view. Obazda was great with fresh pretzels on Sunday.

While passing through, we briefly visited the empty beer garden (due to the weather). For small, unfortunately lukewarm meals (salmon and meat patties and an Obatztden, almost 50€ is not appropriate even for the Swiss ☹️

Food expensive. Salad is terribly bland. Burgers fried to death. Service? It's just a self-service beer garden anyway.

Stopped here for the first time after a tour of Ammersee. The food is amazing, the staff is very nice and accommodating, the boss himself was there a few times and chatted with us, we got tartar that was on the house, all in all the best restaurant in Stegen. Edit: I was there again recently, the tartare is still great, it was served in a hollowed-out beef bone, very unusual, great idea.

We ordered schnitzel. The lemon or the net in which the lemon was was covered with white and black mold. The nets are likely to be used more often, but that shouldn't be the case in a clean restaurant. Either you should change it regularly or leave it out completely! Unfortunately for us, we found two hairs in the food, so we got a new schnitzel. The service was a bit annoyed after the complaint, but very fair. We didn't have to pay for the two schnitzels. Unfortunately, our appetite was a bit spoiled after the mold and the hair… There was also a strange smell in the women's toilets and the soap was empty. The location is nice and you have a direct view of the lake. Unfortunately we won't be coming back.

We were there as a couple on the first sunny day of the year, so there was a lot going on. We didn't make a reservation, nor did the four people who arrived at the same time as us. We were sent away again because everything was supposedly reserved outside with the beer garden half empty. Strangely enough, we were looking for a place with the other 4 people, who also said no to the question about a reservation. When we asked if we could get a seat inside there was only one table occupied by 6 people, the rest of the room was empty. We were informed very unkindly that there was a closed society there. I can understand it if you don't have enough staff and you're just looking for profit somewhere and would rather take 4 people instead of 2 guests. But then it should be communicated openly.

Absolutely excellent veal liver and great schnitzel, the price of the main courses is right. Personally, I would recalculate a small lamb's lettuce for 14 euros.

You don't need to add anything else. We originally reserved the table for two people, but our guests quickly invited the supervisor and tour guide. No problem for the team. Extremely friendly contact. Any company that wants to score a hit with important guests and customers and leave a lasting impression should let them be guests at Seehaus Schreyegg!

Price-performance ratio is simply not right at all. You simply pay for the location on Lake Ammersee. I was alone and paid over €100 for the first meal, main meal and dessert. Didn't have a steak or an exceptional main course. .

Wir waren am See spazieren und wollten eine Kleinigkeit essen. Der Biergarten dieses Restaurants ist in einen Selbstbedienungsbereich und einen Bereich mit Bedienung aufgeteilt. Ich finde das sehr gut. So kann man, abhängig von der Zeit, die man sich nehmen möchte, entscheiden. Die im SB-Bereich angebotenen Speisen haben ein gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis und schmecken. Die Lage direkt am See ist sehr schön. Das Personal nett. Kurz gesagt: Für einen SB-Biergarten wirklich empfehlenswert. Wir freuen uns darauf auch das Restaurant bald auszuprobieren.

The beer garden is really beautifully located right on the lake. But for fries 4.90 and for a currywurst with fries 12€ - although the fries weren't particularly special and the sausage was almost cold - I don't have to have them again

Food was delicious! However, prices are at a high level. A bit overkill for the quality. Due to the lack of alternatives on site, it is a good place to go for a good meal occasionally.

Like in previous years, I would have liked to book a table for 6-8 people for Christmas. Now only with email and with little emotion for the guest on the phone. Why doesn't the inn send us an email? No service, you wait for the customer to take action. Why? You immediately accepted that you would therefore not visit the inn. No alternative was suggested. Very poor service for a lot of money spent there. There is still a lot to learn from fine dining. It's a shame that individual employees destroy the reputation of a restaurant. .

Great restaurant. Excellent food - not exactly cheap, but very good across the board, very good service. There were almost 20 of us with a few children. The entire staff is very child-friendly and accommodating. Even the dog immediately got a water bowl. We can warmly recommend Schreyegg.

We often come to the beer garden with our dog for a drink and a view of the lake. Always my pleasure. Unfortunately, the drinks you get yourself are overpriced. We still treat ourselves :-)

It was a great lunch, shrimp with pasta and a good glass of wine. But we wonder why we weren't given bread with butter at the beginning. We already expected that for this (price) class. Maybe the waiter was a bit absent and forgot.

We had our family wedding dinner here and absolutely loved it. We received great support and advice right from the start. The food and service were excellent, and the ambience with a view of the lake was unique. The staff was extremely friendly and authentic. And the table was lovingly prepared. Our two dogs were also very welcome. We can fully recommend Seehaus Schreyegg and will 1000 percent come back for a special occasion. We were invited to a wedding on September 20, 2024. We were greeted so wonderfully by the staff and treated to delicious tarte flambée bites, draft beer, sparkling wine and other fine drinks. The weather was wonderful and we were able to spend the afternoon in the beautiful outdoor area, right by the lake. Afterwards there was a delicious meal, great drinks and lots of satisfied guests. Schönes Lokal. Bedienung effizient und freundlich. Essen entsprach nicht dem Preisniveau (aus der Mikrowelle?) und die Portionen waren ziemlich klein. Trinkgeld gebe ich eigentlich immer, aber wenn man bei der Kreditkartenzahlung praktisch genötigt wird 10 oder mehr Prozent einzutippen, ist halt nix..

Die tolle Lage des Restaurants kann es leider nicht ausgleichen: Sehr durchschnittliches Essen zu hohen Preisen. Selbst Brot und Butter sind separat zu bezahlen. Insgesamt wirkt alles sehr lustlos dort. Da muss man nicht hin …

Went to the Seehaus Schreyegg restaurant today with two business people. The service from the ladies and the waiter was excellent. You're not used to something like that anymore. The food tasted fantastic and was plentiful. In my opinion, the prices for such a meal are more than justified. The menu was also incredibly extensive and varied. We can definitely recommend this restaurant. Just hope the chef stays. But as I learned, it is the boss himself who manages the kitchen.

We celebrated our wedding here with coffee and cake and a 4-course meal. Contacting Mr. Rid went smoothly. We were also warmly welcomed during the direct conversation on site and Mr. Rid took a long time to address our concerns. We said yes with good conscience and were not disappointed at the wedding itself. The table was beautifully set and the ambience was more than just tasteful. A waitress was appointed especially for us and took care of our wishes very unobtrusively but very conscientiously. The menu in the evening also exceeded our expectations. Prepared to a high standard with many regional ingredients and lovingly prepared, we were pampered here. We'll be back - definitely for the 1st anniversary!

Very good food mixed well with Bavarian, seafood and other world dishes. The price is high but the quality and presentation are right. Special recommendation for the seafood platters, whether cold or warm, always a pleasure. If you have 3-4 hours to spare, you should try the pampering menu and your accompaniment will always be impressed. There are also very tasty and professionally mixed long drinks and cocktails, especially the Gin Berry. In addition, a 1 A service, friendly, very accommodating and entertaining. The ambience speaks for itself. For me, Schreyegg is the top location on Lake Ammersee. Always a nice experience!
