We were invited to a wedding on September 20, 2024. We were greeted so wonderfully by the staff and treated to delicious tarte flambée bites, draft beer, sparkling wine and other fine drinks. The weather was wonderful and we were able to spend the afternoon in the beautiful outdoor area, right by the lake. Afterwards there was a delicious meal, great drinks and lots of satisfied guests. Schönes Lokal. Bedienung effizient und freundlich. Essen entsprach nicht dem Preisniveau (aus der Mikrowelle?) und die Portionen waren ziemlich klein. Trinkgeld gebe ich eigentlich immer, aber wenn man bei der Kreditkartenzahlung praktisch genötigt wird 10 oder mehr Prozent einzutippen, ist halt nix..

Die tolle Lage des Restaurants kann es leider nicht ausgleichen: Sehr durchschnittliches Essen zu hohen Preisen. Selbst Brot und Butter sind separat zu bezahlen. Insgesamt wirkt alles sehr lustlos dort. Da muss man nicht hin …

The food was good, the service was really very good. However, I think the prices are too high. The ambience is down-to-earth and rustic, as is the offering. However, they try to raise the level and so the price level with a few “tasties”. Too bad

Went to the Seehaus Schreyegg restaurant today with two business people. The service from the ladies and the waiter was excellent. You're not used to something like that anymore. The food tasted fantastic and was plentiful. In my opinion, the prices for such a meal are more than justified. The menu was also incredibly extensive and varied. We can definitely recommend this restaurant. Just hope the chef stays. But as I learned, it is the boss himself who manages the kitchen.

We celebrated our wedding here with coffee and cake and a 4-course meal. Contacting Mr. Rid went smoothly. We were also warmly welcomed during the direct conversation on site and Mr. Rid took a long time to address our concerns. We said yes with good conscience and were not disappointed at the wedding itself. The table was beautifully set and the ambience was more than just tasteful. A waitress was appointed especially for us and took care of our wishes very unobtrusively but very conscientiously. The menu in the evening also exceeded our expectations. Prepared to a high standard with many regional ingredients and lovingly prepared, we were pampered here. We'll be back - definitely for the 1st anniversary!

Very good food mixed well with Bavarian, seafood and other world dishes. The price is high but the quality and presentation are right. Special recommendation for the seafood platters, whether cold or warm, always a pleasure. If you have 3-4 hours to spare, you should try the pampering menu and your accompaniment will always be impressed. There are also very tasty and professionally mixed long drinks and cocktails, especially the Gin Berry. In addition, a 1 A service, friendly, very accommodating and entertaining. The ambience speaks for itself. For me, Schreyegg is the top location on Lake Ammersee. Always a nice experience!

The location right on the lake is of course great. The food, currywurst with fries, tasted great. The price, on the other hand, is less, especially for self-service.

An incredibly beautiful experience of gastronomy par excellence! Friendly and courteous service followed by a menu that leaves nothing to be desired - but is not overwhelming in its abundance. The homemade lemonade is a worthy signature of the house. With an aperitif, lemonade and sunset, the high-quality and very well-crafted food was excellent to enjoy! The char or the onion roast with cheese spaetzle was perfectly prepared. It's a shame we didn't have enough time with us. But that doesn't stop us from coming back!

So value for money is really not okay. Little food for hefty prices.

I rate the beer garden: I was born here by the lake and am tired of paying completely overpriced prices just because of the lake! A shepherd's salad, which consisted of 90% ready-mixed leaf lettuce and 2 pieces of pepper, a few hard-to-find cucumbers, a few capers and 7 cubes of sheep's cheese for €17.00, picked up in the cardboard box! Honestly: OK for €11 in the self-service beer garden, but €17: that was the last time! And you could count my husband's fries at a glance! The view of the lake in no way justifies these high prices!

Great location, very attentive staff in the restaurant, food was very tasty. Ok, cheap is different but honestly you can eat worse somewhere else for the same money and without this beautiful location, so it's fine. We'd love to come back! Thank you very much!

Great beer garden in an idyllic location right on the lake. Lots of shade to linger and enjoy delicious snacks. Everything clean and tidy. Friendly staff and fast. Highly recommended

I'm happy to pay for good food. Everyone had to deal with the prices being high - understandable. But when I go to a beer garden and pay €12.90 for a Swiss sausage salad, I think it's absolutely excessive. And then it was a mini portion where 50% of it was onions. It wasn't really a treat for the palate. My fiancé had the currywurst. Also very expensive - the taste was okay, but nothing special. I was rather disappointed after this meal and with the prices.

It's always consistently good. Very tasty, but not cheap either. But worth the money.

Very good food, price/performance sometimes not so good. Service deduction, as the preset tips of 15, 20 or 25 percent are very bold. If that changes, I'll give you full points. The service is usually very attentive and friendly. Update: unfortunately prices continue to rise. The dessert, for example, has already become more expensive two or three times this year. Other “permanent dishes” on the menu as well.

Stopped there on our way through. Great location next to the boat dock, with a view of the lake and Zugspitz, cozy beer garden with bar and self-service food, we weren't in the restaurant area. However, the great location is very noticeable in the prices. And then a big disappointment: what is sold there as "Bosna" is basically a lukewarm giant bockwurst with garnishes. This has nothing to do with a real Bosna.

In the self-service area, where you can pick up and dispose of yourself, excessive tipping options are given at the checkout when paying... Oops…self-service! Very bold 😡 Sanitary area is very dirty and unhygienic... should be fixed.

The ambience is beautiful. But it remains a beer garden. This would also be appropriate when determining the price. A Swiss sausage salad just the size of a side salad for €12.90 is, in my opinion, absolutely excessive.

Nice, not too big beer garden with a great view over Lake Ammersee towards the mountains. However, the food is a bit expensive. The currywurst was quite firm, but the fries were good and the roast pork was a bit too dry for 18.90. The Ammerschorle was very tasty.

I ordered a "Bosna" which turned out to be a long frankfurter in a roll. Otherwise quite ok in terms of service and ambience

Nice location with bad food. The worst roast pork I've had in a long time. The dumplings tasteless and without salt. The sauce tasted sour. The meat has a strange consistency.

We wanted to eat Steckerlfisch in the Biergarten but it was too early for it so we thought we'll try the restaurant. After one week holiday in Austria the prices here were high but we expected delicious food like we had there. My husband got Käsespätzle and I went for the Lasagnete with lemon. His dish was considerably smaller that in other Restaurants (for Example Ruf in Seefeld, Sepperl Wirt in Mailing). My pasta was definitely not worth 32 euro. Maybe other dishes are better but for us that lunch was highly overpriced.

We reserved a table there for lunch on the occasion of my birthday. When the staff realized that we had arranged to meet for my birthday, we were offered a table right on the bank. The three of us ate the fish and seafood variation and were very impressed by the quality of what was on offer. The service was also extremely friendly and attentive. At the end, as a little birthday surprise, I was served a small Bundt cake with fireworks at the table, which made us all very happy. Yes, the restaurant is expensive, which has already been criticized by some reviewers here. But every visitor can find out more on the Internet or the menu in advance and, if necessary, they can also go to the Schreyegg self-service beer garden, which is also highly recommended. Our conclusion: We'll be back.

Original entry: We always go to Seehaus Schreyegg - especially with visitors, as the food always impresses us. We all enjoyed it this time too, although the prices have risen considerably compared to last time. As always, I ate cheese spaetzle - the small portion and was surprised that it was quite large because I remembered it being smaller. At first I thought that the waiter had written down the normal portion, but then I paid a small portion and I was stuffed. Everyone else liked it too. As written, the prices have risen considerably. The food is good, the location is great. The staff always friendly. For us the price-performance ratio is no longer quite right. Especially since we live in Munich and have to drive to Ammersee to eat here. There are plenty of alternatives in the surrounding area.

The beer garden is nice and shady. The food is good and the service is friendly. This is the first restaurant where you can order a large portion, and the service is also very friendly and quick. My dachshunds were given water and a treat without saying anything. The food tasted very good and both of them enjoyed it.

Seit nun 35 Jahren war das Seehaus Schreyegg in vielen Lebenslagen ein Ankerpunkt für mich. Nach längerer Zeit war ich nun gestern wieder dort, voller Vorfreude auf dieses schöne Restaurant. Wie ein Schlag hat mich die neue Speisekarte getroffen, die aus meiner Sicht ein Speisenangebot zu völlig überzogenen Preisen bietet. Krustenbrot Fassbutter & Meersalz als Starter für 6 €, Kässpätzle für 23 €, Spaghettini Trüffel zu 38 €, 7 Stangen Spargel mit einem 150 Gramm Thunfischsteak und 12 kleinen Kartoffelhälften für 53 € usw. usf. Zu den auf der Karte ebenfalls aufgeführten Speisen wie Hummer, Kaviar, Austern und den dazugehörigen Preisen möchte ich mich nicht auslassen, da ich damit nichts anfangen kann. Ich habe schon Verständnis dass es der Gastronomie aus vielen Gründen nicht besonders gut geht, dass hier aber ist für mich auch betriebswirtschaftlich nicht notwendig. Ich bedauere das außerordentlich und würde mir sehr wünschen, dass seitens der Betreiber eine Korrektur erfolgt.

Es war unser erster Besuch im Restaurant, den Biergarten kannten wir bereits. Unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Das Essen war ein absoluter Genuss. Der Service sehr angenehm, und das Ambiente ist chic und trotzdem gemütlich. Wird nicht unsere letzter Besuch gewesen sein.

Hervorragendes Essen in einem sehr gepflegten und stilvollen Ambiente. Der einzige Wermutstropfen war , dass es dort- obwohl in Bayern- keinen einzigen Frankenwein gab- denn das gehört für uns zur Regionalität dazu! Beim nächsten Besuch würden wir uns über einen VDP- Frankenwein, z.B. Wirsching aus Iphofen-sehr freuen!

We treated ourselves to lunch in the beer garden. When we paid at the beer garden counter, we were very surprised that people were forced to tip here. When paying by card you had to choose 10%, 15% or 20%. The cashier was very decisive, since when do I have to do self-service, which also included tidying up the tray... giving a tip??? With a bill in the beer garden! of 90€ () because you still have to ask for a tip... We also didn't find any indication that a tip is a must. No more with us... it's a shame that you can't shake the feeling of being ripped off...

Getting a table outside at 12 o'clock on May 1st in bright sunshine was of course... ambitious. The new argument was that an hour wouldn't be enough for me because the food would take so long because there was a lot going on. So please stay inside. The inn is beautifully located on the lake, you can still see the lake from the inside, so it's not that bad. The positive thing is the motorcycle parking spaces right next to the house. I ordered one of my favorite meals, which isn't available that often: ox cheeks in red wine sauce. And surprise, the food was in front of me in 15 minutes. Everything had probably already been pre-cooked in the kitchen and just had to be put on the plate. The portion was OK, but the food was only lukewarm, the meat, the sauce and the potato gratin without any taste or seasoning. The vegetables were overcooked. There are still three points, because you just don't find them that often. I was out again well before 1 p.m., so there would have been enough time for food in the beer garden. The price was appropriate for the location. Overall, it's a shame, I don't have to have it again.

Really nice place to chill by the lake. We were actually already on the way back, but being right on the highway, it was a perfect stopover. There are enough parking spaces available (not expensive). You can go for a walk, lounge on the lawns or, if the weather is really right, even go into the water. There is delicious food in the Seehaus. You can make yourself comfortable in the beer garden or visit the restaurant. Definitely worth a stop.

Yesterday we had dinner with ten friends. The fish variations were to die for. We couldn't manage the amount with just two of us! I think four people would have been fed! Sabrina's service was sensationally friendly. You felt like you were at home with friends! Finally we met Jimmy Hartwig, who showed us his own gin which is available in the restaurant. A little more expensive but of great quality

A catastrophe in terms of price. Food, location, service - everything was great. Ambiance: difficult because you were almost alone there, which always seems a bit uncomfortable. Given the prices, no wonder. The latest trick in gastronomy: calculate side dishes separately. This brings you to around €65 for a small meat dish with two side dishes and a sauce. Didn't know whether to laugh or cry. In hindsight we should have left better. It's a shame, it was and is a great restaurant in a wonderful spot, but the prices just make me feel ripped off. The restaurant charges €260 for a 'team fillet' (child has to have a name...). A kilo of beef fillet costs around €65-70 when purchased normally. 'Farmer Cut' also costs a kilo of entrecote in Schreyegg for €216 and for purchases just under €40. It's clear that calculations have to be made and location, staff etc. have to be taken into account, but the purchase prices haven't changed that much, only the prices on the menu. Therefore, as a customer you feel completely ripped off. Luckily, there are other local and beautiful stains that remain on the carpet. It's a shame, I liked going to Schreyegg, but it was the last time

The ambience and location is almost unbeatable. But that was it. Service ok to grumpy. Food was okay but incredibly expensive. Quality good but not outstanding. For a burger without a side dish €32? Are you crazy? Pasta €28? Well… I don’t need it anymore. When it comes to tipping, you are almost urged to press a selection button. I almost feel like it's coercive. Wirtschaftswoche writes: “The fact that the service provider doesn’t have to say a word about it in person, but instead holds out an electronic device that the customer then has to allow himself to be harassed by, disguises the begging and makes the customer either stupid or stingy.”

Very nice view. But that also comes at a high price!!! Wiener schnitzel with fries 39 E!!! Onion roast 39E!!! A small salad 9 E!!! It was tasty, yes, but NEVER again!!! The prices are simply outrageous!!!! 2 stars just because it's too expensive! Sorry!!!

It's nice to sit outside by the lake and drink a beer and an Aperol - but also pretty expensive. 15 € is already a word. We paid inside as we left, as the (quite rude) waiter wasn't in sight for a long time. Well, you can treat yourself.
