Die Aufmerksamkeit zu meiner kleinen Geburtstagsfeier (wir waren zu zweit) war sehr besonders, da so noch nie erlebt. Das Essen vorzüglich, schnell und dem Ambiente entsprechend serviert. Ein sehr schöner Mittag bei dem nicht nur die Sonne strahlte. Ein besonderes Mittagessen, das ich so gerne in Erinnerung behalte. Die ausgewählten Speisen waren Zwiebelrostbraten und Krustenschweinebraten. Die Beilagen Kässpätzle und Kräuterkartöffelchen sowie die Salate, ebenfalls alles hervorragend.

Die Perle am Ammersee ! Wir haben uns wieder sehr wohlgefühlt, besonders gut gegessen, mit grosser Freundlichkeit umsorgt , Danke !

3 out of 5 stars I was at Schreyegg on Lake Ammersee today. The ambiance is truly beautiful—right on the lake, very cozy, and with attentive, friendly servers. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to my expectations. The fried chicken tasted a bit like old fat, and the potato and lamb's lettuce seemed more like a convenience product than freshly prepared. At €29, I think the price-performance ratio is a bit too high. It's a shame, because the restaurant itself and the service are truly top-notch—perhaps the kitchen just wasn't having a good day today.

Here, you can sit beautifully with a view of the lake and unwind. Since we only stopped briefly for a cool drink, I can't comment on the food. Drinks were available at a well-organized self-service bar.

We've been coming here for some time now, during our holidays in Landsberg-Pitzling. For us, it's all about enjoyment, not just tasting a lot. There's no accounting for taste. That's never been the case here. We always leave happy—and even full.

We ate at the restaurant on Sunday. The food was very good. We also got the reserved window table. The only thing we found a shame was that the reservation stated that they would come up with something nice for our 40th wedding anniversary, which we had listed as the reason for our reservation. It's a shame, but that wasn't the case. The ambiance is very nice. Unfortunately, the waiter wasn't particularly friendly. A little more friendliness would have been nice.

Beautiful beer garden right on the water. BUT anyone who actively requests a tip on the reader before paying by card in the self-service area (which you have to refuse in front of the staff) doesn't deserve a rating better than two stars. This new tipping culture is outrageous and has spilled over directly from the USA. Tipping for self-service is a bad joke. Especially since the beer already costs €5.

The location on the lake is, of course, fantastic, and the food is OK, but way overpriced. Here, you're simply paying for the location, which ultimately turns out to be a drawback: we couldn't find a parking space nearby.

We celebrated our civil wedding there, and it was absolutely beautiful! Amazing food, a beautifully set table, attentive service, a wonderful ambiance, and a stunning view of Lake Ammersee. And it's dog-friendly, too. The best decision :)

When we visited the restaurant, we encountered an extremely rude waiter. He immediately expressed his displeasure at the fact that we had only ordered coffee and drinks and no food. When it was served, the sugar fell right out of the plate – the coffee was placed in front of my wife, but the sugar landed at the other end of the table. Overall, a very unpleasant experience.

The price-performance ratio is not right. A salmon patty with potato salad for €18 and then asking for a tip at the self-service cash register in the beer garden. We won't be back.

Unfortunately, we have to lower our previous praise. After an unpleasant experience with a waiter who angrily slammed the menu on our table twice to explain that the dessert trilogy was only for one person, even though we were able to show him on the menu that the option was also available for two people, he responded with correspondingly negative facial expressions and gestures. What's so difficult about an order that reads "1 x Trilogy for 2 people" is beyond our comprehension. Even the table next to us was very irritated by the waiter's behavior and just shook their heads. Unfortunately, when we later looked at the bill, we discovered that he had overcharged us €27 on top of our actual meal using the "surcharge" option. We like to tip generously and had done so that day (although we hadn't looked at the receipt beforehand), but we would like to decide the amount ourselves. These unpleasant incidents have now led us to remove Schreyegg from our list of regulars. In our opinion, something like this shouldn't happen in a restaurant of this price range. It's a real shame. However, we maintain that the food has been of high quality so far, and the rest of the team can't be held responsible for a colleague who behaves this way. One last thing: this wasn't the first time the waiter had acted unprofessionally.

We've been coming to the Seehaus for a while now. Unfortunately, the food has declined in our opinion. They've also raised their prices considerably, despite understanding the current situation for restaurants; we don't eat here as often in the winter either.

Beautifully situated directly on Lake Ammersee with mountain views. The venue is tastefully decorated inside and out, typical of the region. There are numerous options for celebrations, including a cozy wine bar in the basement. The dishes are skillfully prepared with a modern twist, featuring more than just Bavarian classics. Therefore, the slightly higher price is justified by the quality and location.

The food was fantastic, the service was super nice and friendly. We'll be back. The ambiance is gorgeous. I highly recommend it.

Sehr gutes Essen, absolut freundliche Bedienung - schnell-diskret-super nett Preise relativ hoch - auch dem besonderem Ambiente am See geschuldet - aber im Rahmen in Bezug auf die Nähe zu München .. Parkplätze gibts eigentlich viele, nur im Sommer bei gutem Wetter wird deutlich knapp. Behinderten- Parkplätze sind in der Nähe leider nicht vorhanden. Viel Zeit zum Parkplatzsuche einrechnen bitte

€17 for a salad in a cardboard box that's not even well-made or filling – even the great view doesn't make up for that. Especially when the fisherman next door can do a decent job in the beer garden for €11. As a thank you, you're forced to tip at the cash machine, and you have to actively opt out. Extremely disappointing!

We were guests today. First of all, I would like to mention the excellent service. They look you in the eye when you order, which is very important to me. They also make a point of ensuring that guests lack nothing. The ambiance and the view are priceless. The food is perfect. The price is impressive! We were completely satisfied. We'll be back.

Wir hatten heute einen wunderbaren Abend! Exzellentes Essen - wunderschön angerichtet und top Service! Wir waren 6 Personen und fast alle hatten unterschiedliche Gerichte, die hervorragend geschmeckt haben. Mein Mann hatte heute Geburtstag. Ich hatte online über Open Table reserviert und der Tisch war liebevoll dekoriert und zum Schluss wurde als Überraschung ein leckerer Geburtstagskuchen serviert. Wir kommen bald gerne wieder! Vielen lieben Dank an das ganze Team! Die Lage am See ist so schön und wir hatten Glück mit dem Wettern und konnten den Aperitif draußen genießen.

The location is indeed very nice, and the positive thing is that you're not as crowded together as in the shops next door. The food was only partially convincing. The tuna and the "Bagyu" (Bavarian Wagyu) were well-balanced in terms of flavor, but the beef was unfortunately much too cooked. A real shame! You can't offer that in the higher price range. The service is unfortunately the absolute weak point here! We were there during the week, so not all the tables were occupied. All the waiters walked past us without acknowledging us. We had to wait at least 15 minutes for the menu – a disgrace! It took even longer before we could order. Being served while we were left high and dry is probably part of the deal. After we finally ordered, the food arrived very quickly. Our server was consistently uninterested, but when paying, she very confidently pointed out the tipping option for card payments. It's simply embarrassing!

We like coming here on Wednesday evenings and love the artichokes. We won't leave for less than €140. Unfortunately, this is the second time that the waiter (tall, slim, short white/gray hair, glasses) isn't particularly friendly. You can clearly tell when he's stressed or in a bad mood. This also affects his customer service.

The food here is very good. I would have liked to see a few more Bavarian classics on the menu. But that doesn't detract from the quality of the food. It's a more upscale restaurant, and you can tell that right away. You get the best meat and interesting dishes. My roast pork was superb. I even thought I tasted a hint of truffle in the dumplings. All in all, highly recommended. Unfortunately, it rained during our visit. I hope the weather cooperates next time and we can enjoy the food in the beer garden :)

My visit to the Seehaus Schreyegg beer garden was a disappointing experience. While the food wasn't a revelation in terms of taste and the prices were very high, I would like to point out that the staff at the Steckerlfisch (fish on a stick) were very friendly. This was a pleasant aspect that enhanced the overall experience somewhat. Nevertheless, I will look for beer gardens in the future that offer both high-quality food and consistently friendly staff. I would not recommend it. Update August 2025 We ate in the outdoor area of the Seehaus Schreyegg restaurant. The food tasted okay, but the prices were, in my opinion, high and not entirely in keeping with the overall experience. At this price level, I would have expected consistently attentive service. In my opinion, some service procedures were not optimal, the wine wasn't sufficiently chilled, and minor details, such as mismatched toilet seats, seemed out of place with the otherwise well-maintained surroundings. The restrooms were clean, but the restaurant as a whole gave me a somewhat dated impression. For me personally, today's experience no longer has the special charm of past visits. ⸻ Conclusion: In my opinion, there is room for improvement in terms of value for money, service quality, and attention to detail. I will not be visiting the restaurant again for the time being.

Great beer garden, that's how it is in Bavaria

A very nice place to eat. We were in the beer garden, where it's self-service. The giant pretzel was delicious and fluffy.

We were invited, but when we saw the prices, we couldn't order any food. Every bite would get stuck in your throat. You wouldn't want to do that to an 80-year-old on a medium pension. €22 for Käsespätzle, hello, what's in that? When we got our drinks and the waitress asked us what we wanted, she got really angry when we explained that we'd changed our minds. She slammed the drinks down on us and then said, "Drink it and leave." We did well, and honestly, we'll never see that place again.

Quite possibly the best European food I’ve had on the continent. Lobster soup is a must. My veal was perfect with the berry sauce (I wished I’d gotten the large). Vegetarian friends were happy with their food. Went in unplanned because it was about to rain. Party of 4 in casual clothes and while others were a bit more polished, the restaurant didn’t seem to mind at all. They were so kind to the toddler in our group and the pup. Class without pretense!

I give it 3 stars because the location is beautiful, but the prices are far too high. I can only agree with what the previous reviewers have said. It seems like they're taking it for granted because they have the privilege of a great location and are unrivaled. Almost 10 euros for a fish sandwich or 17 euros for a banal tuna salad is simply unacceptable. On top of that, the place is self-service. Fair is something else entirely...

We were privileged to celebrate our wedding at this dreamy location and are still overwhelmed! The afternoon on the beautiful lakeside terrace and in the beer garden was a real highlight for us and our guests, with a relaxed atmosphere, a fantastic view, and a perfect start to this special day. Our guests were thrilled! The dinner was excellent. The advance organization with Christian Rid was always pleasant and uncomplicated. We would also like to particularly highlight the service: always attentive, yet discreet and pleasantly unobtrusive, exactly what you would want for a celebration. The evening party was the crowning glory. A thoroughly successful celebration in a unique setting. We couldn't have imagined a better place for our day and can wholeheartedly recommend the venue. Wir hielten für ein Mittagessen am Ammersee an und fuhren nach Stegen. Ich kannte von früher die Restaurants und Bars im diesem Eck. Wir gingen ins Seehaus Schreyegg und bekamen einen schönen Platz direkt an der Seemauer im Biergarten. Der Kellner war sehr freundlich und wir bekamen sehr zügig unsere Getränke. Leider machte uns das Wetter einen Strich durch die Rechnung und nach der hervorragenden Vorspeise mussten wir ins Lokal wechseln, da ein Sturm auf zog und es zum Regnen anfing. Im Lokal genossen wir ein vorzügliches Essen. Der Raum ist komplett mit Holz verkleidet und hier ist die Zeit stehen geblieben, dennoch sind die Tische sehr stilvoll und schön eingedeckt. Wir kommen gerne wieder und beim nächsten Mal hoffentlich mit einem besseren Wetter. Preis-Leistung hat gepasst und es ist gehoben.

Nice lounging in the gazebo, super delicious food in the restaurant. The park is beautifully landscaped and the Seehaus is a perfect place to recover from the bike ride around the lake.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed. A non-alcoholic shandy only allows one liter, or you can get two half-liters. We only wanted one half-liter. That didn't work. The prices were absolutely overpriced. My father is in a wheelchair - accessible restroom in the basement - I mean, hey, how are we supposed to get down there? A shrug. I was directed to the kiosk in the parking lot. 800 meters further on - unbelievable how discriminatory that was for my father, who urgently needed to use the restroom. Absolutely unacceptable. Never again. It's absurd not to have an accessible restroom at ground level.

The location right on the lake is, of course, top-notch. The currywurst and fries taste great. The price, however, is a bit lower, especially for self-service.

YOU MADE MY DAY! We always enjoy visiting the waterfront beer garden. Delicious food and drinks fortify us on our bike rides. The staff is always friendly and attentive. On one of my last visits, I lost the spare lenses for my sports glasses. I was actually able to get them back today from a very friendly employee. Beautiful view, mediocre food, hefty prices. We sat in the outdoor area of ​​the restaurant, overlooking the lake. It was surprisingly quiet, and the service was friendly and prompt. The food selection is traditionally southern German, nothing particularly remarkable that you can't find in most Bavarian restaurants. The food preparation and quality are also average and rather one-dimensional, nothing outstanding. The pricing is correspondingly surprising. Given the high prices, we would have expected a taste experience from the selection and, above all, the quality, but we were unfortunately disappointed. Furthermore, when we paid the bill by card, we were automatically forced to add an additional "tip," which I find presumptuous. Aside from the beautiful lake view, it's only moderately recommended.

I'm only writing about the self-service at the beer garden, and it's unbelievable how much you get for a roll here. It borders on rip-offs of tourists in Italy, not a beer garden in Bavaria. For example, a fish roll costs 9.20 with self-service. The pictures of the roast roll speak louder than words :-( Sad for Bavaria and this beautiful region.

Wir hatten ein Tisch für unser erstes Date reserviert( konnte man angeben), wofür frage ich mich, wenn man dann doch einen Tisch bekommt, an dem man wenig Privatsphäre hatte. Nach der Getränkebestellung hat man uns vergessen und wir winkten und versuchten auf uns aufmerksam zu machen, nichts half. Nach ca30 min. kam die Kellnerin auf uns zu und entschuldigte sich, mit dem Satz, sie hätte uns vergessen. Schön und recht… das Essen kam wie versprochen, sehr schnell, leider alles lauwarm, Portion sehr überschaubar- w. 52 kg- ich esse kleine Portionen- und war danach nicht gesättigt. Ich hatte Zwiebelrostbraten: Bei der Bestellung wurde auch nicht erfragt, welchen Gargrad das Fleisch haben sollte. Zum Glück mag ich es blutig! Aber ein anderer hätte es womöglich zurückgehen lassen. Die Käsespatzen fühlten sich wässrig an, sehr weich, kalt und geschmacklich lasch! Enttäuscht bezahlten wir bar, da das Kartenlesegerät nicht funktioniert, man konnte uns nicht rausgeben, da zu wenig Bargeld… Kosten: 73 Euro+3 Euro Trinkgeld= 76 Euro/ 80 Euro gegeben und 3 Euro zurück erhalten! Nun, ohne ein Geschmackserlebnis und positiven Eindruck verließen wir das Restaurant, mit der Gewissheit, dort nicht mehr zu reservieren. Leider….

Restaurant with a beer garden right on the lake. Upscale prices, unusual dishes on offer. We had a Wiener Schnitzel in the restaurant. The meat quality was good, but the size was a bit disappointing for the price. We had been to the Seepost in Schondorf a few days earlier; the quality was the same, but it was significantly larger. Fried parsley was served as a garnish. Since it uses a bit of butter after frying, you could skip it or opt for a Parmesan chip. There's also a self-service beer garden attached to the restaurant. We were there during the week. I think you should make a reservation on weekends.
