Sehr schöne Lage. Gutes Essen und Service. Hüftsteak vom heißen Stein mit Rosmarinkartoffeln! Parkplätze kostenfrei.

Wir mussten etwas sehr lange auf unsere Getränke warten. Das Restaurant war nur auf der Terrasse gut bewusst. Die Pizza war okay ☺️

Gemütliches Restaurant mit außenbereich und Blick auf den See

Ich habe normales Wasser ohne Eis und Zitrone bestellt, aber sie haben mir Wasser mit Eis und Zitrone gebracht.

Essen war Geschmacklich sehr gut Salat gut nur die Speisen mit Meeresfrüchten sehr wenig auswahl

Wunderbar! Wir kommen fast jedes Jahr im Urlaub hierher und lieben es! Exquisites Essen, hervorragender Service und der See direkt vor unserer Haustür zum Abkühlen. Wie es sich für gute Spanier gehört, hätten wir das Bier gern etwas kälter, haha.

Ein idealer Ort, um zu entspannen und den Überblick über den Tag zu behalten. Ich kann ihn wärmstens empfehlen.

Nachdem wir im Winter nach langer Zeit sehr positiv überrascht waren, waren wir gestern umso mehr enttäuscht. Außer verbal ("natürlich und klar, das bekommen wir hin"), hat überhaupt nichts geklappt und das Essen war absolut nicht überzeugend. Auch das Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis war nicht angemessen. Schade.

Alles Top. Man darf sogar auf der Terrasse rauchen.👍

Sehr schön im Sommer. Essen sehr gut, freundliches Personal, sehr schöne Location.

Vor ca. sechs Monaten waren mein Mann und ich im Seehaus essen. Unsere Rechnung belief sich auf 64 Euro. Bezahlen wollten wir mit einem 100 Euro Gutschein, den wir geschenkt bekommen haben. Der Kellner hat uns darauf hingewiesen, dass er kein Restgeld herausgeben kann. Er könne aber auch nicht den Restbetrag auf dem Gutschein vermerken. Daher hatten wir lediglich die Möglichkeit den restlichen Wert des Gutscheins verfallen zu lassen oder bar bzw. mit Karte zu bezahlen. Uns wurde gesagt, wir sollen beim nächsten Mal einfach mehr konsumieren. Letztes Wochenende waren wir dann mit unseren beiden Babys am Klosterweiher um beim Anbaden zuzuschauen. Im Seehaus haben wir dann etwas trinken wollen. Leider wurden wir mit den Worten "ihr könnt auf der Terrasse nicht sitzen, weil ihr mit dem Kinderwagen die Laufwege blockiert. Aber im Lokal könnt ihr einen Tisch haben." abgewiesen. Bei 26°C im Schatten wollten wir aber auf keinen Fall drinnen platz nehmen. Auf der Terrasse waren zu dem Zeitpunkt min. fünf Tische frei.

Schöner Ort mit einem entspannten Ambiente und sehr netten Personal. Blick auf den See inklusive. Mann kann den Café genießen oder auch sehr gut essen. Hier wird viel auf frische Zutaten gesetzt. Viel Parkraum zur Verfügung. Kann ich nur empfehlen...

Leckere Salate, habe nun mehrfach den Salat mit Ziegenkäsetaler gegessen, der ist einfach tolll. Die Pastagerichte sind sehr lecker aber nicht besonders groß von der Portion her, also eher als Vorspeise angelegt wie in Italien üblich, dafür dann aber recht teuer. Pizza ist super, Service gut und die Lage natürlich toll!

Wir waren zwei Mal dort, weil das Essen und der Service ausgezeichnet sind.

Zum Muttertag haben wir einen Tisch reserviert. Als wir ankamen war es sehr ruhig im Restaurant. Wir wurden zum Tisch gebracht welcher direkt an der offenen Türe zum Garten war. Nach Anfrage wurde die Türe geschlossen. Die Auswahl der Speisekarte war ganz OK. Die Kellnerin war sehr freundlich und auf Anfrage ob wir für unsere Tochter Tortellini in Sahnesoße bekämen hatte Sie super reagiert. Die bestellten Gerichte kamen sehr schnell aus der Küche, leider vor unseren Getränken. Auf Nachfrage kamen Diese dann auch. Die Pizzen waren ok, aber kein Highlight. Ich vermute sogar das die Hollandaise auf der Spargelpizza aus dem Tetrapack stammt, muss aber nicht sein. Meine Lachs mit Gorgonzola Pizza wurde am Gorgonzola maximal vorbeigeschoben, aber auf der Pizza war nichts. Hauptsache unsere Tochter bekam ihre Tortellini. Beim Bezahlen dann die Überraschung. Die Convenience Tortellini wurde mit Hausgemachte Ravioli mit Steinpilzen für 18.50 auf der Rechnung aufgeführt. Beim Nachfragen wurde verlegen gelächelt, die Schuld auf die Kellnerin geschoben und ein Schnaps angeboten. Der Chef sagte noch das könne nicht korrigiert werden obwohl auf dem Beleg Zwischenrechnung steht. 2,50 wurde mir Bar ausbezahlt. Das geht absolut gar nicht! Wie können dieses Restaurant absolut nicht empfehlen.

The salads and pizzas were delicious. Unfortunately, we had to wait a bit for our drinks because the restaurant was very busy. However, the food arrived very quickly.

The Seehaus has a pleasant atmosphere, with plenty of seating both inside and outside. From Tuesday to Friday, there are lunch menus (starter: salad and two main courses) that change every week. Prices range from €10.50 to €11.50. The staff is very friendly.

A very disappointing experience; I absolutely cannot recommend this place. We arrived and ordered our food. We ordered a pizza and the house special, ravioli with chanterelle mushrooms. They were sold out of chanterelles, so we ordered spinach ravioli instead. Several other guests arrived right next to us, having ordered their food about 10-15 minutes later. Guests at other tables received their food before us, even though they had also ordered pizza and pasta. We waited and waited, but no food arrived. When we asked the server if we had been forgotten, she went into the kitchen and then came back to tell us, "No, we haven't been forgotten; the order slip is still hanging in the kitchen." After waiting for about an hour, our food finally arrived. By then, the guests who arrived after us had finished eating. The pizza was tasty, but the ravioli were not only oversalted, but the portion size was also outrageous: 6 ravioli for €15.90. That amount was perhaps enough for an appetizer, but certainly not a main course (see picture). It was a very disappointing restaurant experience and I absolutely cannot recommend it.

The food was good, the service was satisfactory. Overall a solid experience, but with room for improvement in the service.

A lovely restaurant right on the water, very nicely decorated. Reservations are recommended as it's quite popular. The food is delicious; I would recommend the pumpkin ravioli. The staff is very friendly, and the food is prepared quickly.

A recommended place to eat in the evening

Of course, depending on the workload, there are service peaks, where you need to be patient and should be. This isn't a "fast food" restaurant. The food is very good, especially the value for money...and the service and management round out the successful visit. Highly recommended.

We were there today. The atmosphere was very nice with a view of the lake. I had a Seehaus steak, the beef was delicious, served on lava stone. It was supposed to come with rosemary potatoes! There were two schnitzels, potatoes, and a bit of vegetables, and that was it. I won't be visiting this restaurant again and can't recommend it to anyone.

A fitness salad for €18 is a joke! It's not a main course, just an appetizer! Pizza was okay, but unfortunately there weren't enough varieties of margarita.

A quiet space to rest and swim. Plenty of shade and a very easy and accessible area for non-swimmers. Floats and platforms throughout the lake.

Expectations not met!! The Seehaus has a beautiful location by the pond and a cozy and shady outdoor terrace. Unfortunately, we found the food disappointing. The steak, which is the house recommendation, didn't taste like Angus and was tough. I find steak from Aldi much better. The grilled vegetables were too tough and blandly seasoned, and they scrimped on the feta. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio here isn't right. For the high prices, we expect good food. Pizza seems like a better choice here.

Today, I was at the Seehaus with a cycling group of 8 people for lunch. It wasn't possible to choose seating for 8 people. Two people were supposed to sit separately at a table. It wasn't possible to put three small tables together, which the waiter explained to us in a rather unfriendly manner. Some would have liked to have something to eat, but their appetites had vanished after this unfriendly start. We were allowed to have another drink after the waiter returned insulted. From what we observed, other guests had a similar experience when choosing their seats. If you don't mind being bossed around when choosing a seat and don't mind unfriendly staff, you'll definitely feel at home. We won't be coming back anytime soon.

I had piccata Milanese. It was probably a frozen convenience product. It was dry, pressed meat. It came with spaghetti that was a bit overcooked. In my opinion, the whole thing wasn't worth €24 (plus €7.50 for a salad). Service wasn't very attentive. The location was really nice. It's a shame; I was looking forward to a delicious evening and was disappointed.

We ate there today with our Schlemmerblock (a group of friends). The atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Truly excellent, and we'd gladly return.

I have to give it 5 stars in all areas! We came across this restaurant through the "Schlemmerblock" (gourmet blog)... We received a very friendly welcome, the restaurant is beautifully decorated, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the restaurant offers a beautiful view of a small lake. My wife and I ordered an Argentinian bastard steak on a hot stone with a Primitivo. You couldn't have ordered anything better! We were there with our dachshund, and the waitress immediately brought us a bowl of water! We felt very comfortable, and despite the distance (Tuttlingen / St. Georgen), we've saved this address for our next visit! Many thanks to the entire staff! See you soon!

The Seehaus is highly recommended, but reservations are advisable. The service is excellent and very attentive. Go and see for yourself.

We held our funeral service at the Seehaus last Tuesday. The service was incredibly fast and always polite. The food was simply amazing, and the prices are reasonable too. I can only recommend it.

The food was cold and tasted like ready-made products. The service was also bad; we had to wait a very long time.

It's outrageous that from one day to the next you're no longer allowed on the terrace if you swim there, when before that it was never a problem for years. Please explain what street clothes are if I'm standing there in a T-shirt and not allowed in.

We really enjoy coming here. Everything's perfect, except for the requirement that card payments are only accepted for amounts over €30. This is a minor drawback, as you'd expect to have card payment restrictions in restaurants of this size these days. Everything else is always good: food, staff, ambiance.

The price-performance ratio isn't quite right. The salads are very, very small and comparatively quite expensive, which is a shame! Pizza prices are okay.

I recently went to the Seehaus for dinner. I ordered a small mixed salad with a pizza. For that price, I would have preferred a side salad with the baked bread (it was still available about 8 months ago). Unfortunately, the pizza had a few burnt/black bubbles. The manager apologized, but if I were him, I would have felt guilty about it when I paid. (They could have also offered a small scoop of ice cream on the house for dessert as compensation.) You can sometimes hear the loud noise of the kitchen staff. The ambiance, as always, is unbeatable. There is plenty of free parking. Service was okay. Price a bit too high. Conclusion: I can recommend the Seehaus, even despite some negative experiences. The food is definitely edible. I think you can tell. I'm also complaining at a high level.

We took a short lunch break here on the way to Lake Constance. Many regular guests appreciate the inexpensive lunch menu, and the Mediterranean menu also offers a good selection. The service is friendly and quick. Gladly again, especially when the wonderful terrace at the monastery pond is open when the weather is nice. Very nice and decorative collection of old dual record players (used to come from St. Georgen)

There are delicious dishes, weekday lunch menus, very friendly team. Cozy, especially when the weather is good when you sit outside.

We were there for a late lunch and two of us ordered off their specials. I ordered a seafood bowl with a pastry crust on top. The broth was delicious, well, the whole thing was delicious! Then the homemade ravioli was amazing. So good and worth the cost. Four people with drinks and two had desserts. Was just over 100 euro.

I was there with my family. Despite the restaurant being quite full, an incredibly quiet and pleasant atmosphere. The staff always greets you with a smile and the food is simply excellent! I rarely write reviews, but this restaurant is really worth it! Thank you for this nice evening!

The only good thing was the friendly, competent service. Salads and starters only came after the main courses had already been served. Salads not dressed at all, not worth the money. They then had to stand on chairs and benches because there was no more room on the tables. Daughter had 2 small (frozen) schnitzels, one of which was almost raw. I would have a raw steak, 2!!!!! Potato wedges, i.e. half a potato and 2 pieces of pepper, 1 piece of zucchini as a side dish - and that for just under €40.... Second daughter a limp, under-baked pizza. Have been there 3 times now and have never been satisfied. Kitchen incompetent! Unfortunately, good service cannot make up for this

Are here on vacation. We spontaneously drove straight here from the highway. On December 26th We spontaneously got a table. The pizza was very tasty. The salad was attractive and very good. For children there are pens, coloring books and books to look at. Which we think is very good. The children would like to come back here and so would we. Oh and price performance is top 👍.

It was very tasty (pizza, pasta and salad) and the service was also very friendly! We were served quickly and friendly and the food was delicious!

Once again we ate at the lake house and again under new tenants. First of all, the experience this time at the Seehaus was the worst so far. I had a dish with mushroom cream sauce and a tomato soup first. The tomato soup was hot water that tasted like tomato. The mushroom cream sauce was completely watery and there were three half mushrooms on the edge of the plate. The waiters are overwhelmed, have no overview and sometimes roll their eyes when you order another drink. The prices are clearly too high for what you get. You shouldn't spend any money at all for the quality and this service. We'll wait for the next tenant change before we go there again. ‐---------------------- Old review: A few weeks ago we ate at the Seehaus for the first time since the change of tenant. Ambience is the usual. At first glance, nothing significant has been changed. The memory card has changed significantly. Our food was very tasty! But the portion sizes are very small! Even my friend, who rarely finishes her portions, was still hungry afterwards. This is not acceptable at over 20 euros per dish ordered.

We were at the lake house on December 7th, 2024. Great restaurant, great service, great food. I had grilled pike perch with grilled vegetables and baked potatoes. Homemade tiramisu for dessert. Simply great. The restaurant is located directly on the lake in St. Georgen. Very idyllic. I can only recommend this Italian restaurant.

Catastrophic cuisine, no appealing way of dealing with justified criticism, poor quality of meat in the Seehaus steak, vegetables are served cold, which used to be good but unfortunately can no longer be recommended at all

Restaurant is sympathetic to the staff of service. Par contre les fries étaient trop salées.. nous reviendrons autre jour afin de corriger les notifications... Nice restaurant and service staff. On the other hand, the fries were too salty. We will come back another day to correct the reports. Sequel follows...

First the positive: the atmosphere is really nice. You can sit very well on the terrace with a view of the pond. The guests at the next table had a pizza that looked delicious. Then the negative: We just wanted to enjoy an ice cream sundae and had ordered a "Hot Love" ice cream sundae and an eggnog cup. In the eggnog cup you could hardly taste any of the eggnog and the other cup came without a single raspberry...just a little sauce. The cream tasted like spray cream from a can. The cups both cost over 7 euros and they were definitely not worth it We tried to explain the raspberries to the waiter, but we didn't get the impression that he understood us. If you want to enjoy the ambience it would probably be great with a meal, but we would advise against an ice cream sundae.

The restaurant is part of the Naturdeebad. Unfortunately, you can only enter this restaurant, which is located in the outdoor swimming pool, in street clothes. I find it a bit inconvenient to have to change your clothes again and again just to eat or drink something. Therefore no rating

Sitting on the terrace when the weather is nice is really like being on holiday. You sit incredibly nicely. The staff is really friendly and very attentive. The waiting times were absolutely okay. The food is good, but unfortunately not a highlight. The salad didn't convince us and the pizza was just a bit too overloaded with toppings - but that's also a matter of taste. I can't rate pasta, we didn't have it. Despite the average food, an absolute recommendation when the weather is good. We'll definitely be back!
