The food was absolutely delicious, the restaurant was very comfortably furnished, and the junior manager was very friendly and accommodating! However, the senior manager should resign from the restaurant (we've never experienced such treatment of paying guests). It's a shame for such a great restaurant! Our evening was ruined, despite the excellent food.

We haven't had such good fish in a long time. It was very well cooked, and the tagliatelle with pesto was delicious. The dessert was also amazing. We'll definitely be back.

The owner of this very nice restaurant is so unfriendly that the place completely loses its charm. A real shame. Why can't they serve a small beer six minutes before closing (9 p.m.)? His surly manner, even when ordering food, made him unpleasant.

We visited twice during our vacation. It was fantastic: friendly service, delicious food, and great seating both inside and outside. At the end of each visit, our son received a surprise from the treasure chest. It's a bit inconspicuous from the street.

Not recommended for e-bikers. Batteries can't be charged here, even though we wanted to have dinner. There are plenty of power outlets across three floors. The employee wasn't willing to compromise. We also wanted to pay for charging.

One of the best restaurants in Prerow. The fish and service are simply top-notch. No frills, just incredibly good. We went there three times in one week and wanted to go back a fourth time, but couldn't get a table. If you're looking for great fish and friendly service, you should eat here! 🤗

Four of us and two dogs visited this restaurant, which we had booked in advance. We received a friendly welcome and were served with charm and humor. The food was divine. The appetizers and the various fish dishes that followed were incredibly delicious and lovingly prepared. Unfortunately, there was no room left for dessert 😉. Incidentally, in addition to the wines that complemented the fish, they also served a very good sea buckthorn spritzer. We'd love to come back the next time we're in Prerow.

At 7 p.m. in mid-November, we were the last and only guests here. We received a very friendly welcome. The host even took time for a short chat about the country and its people, which was very nice. The ambiance was also beautiful with a maritime feel; all the decor was authentic from that time, as we learned. Santiago's music is a matter of taste, but it fit the bill here;) We really enjoyed the food. The fish was superbly seasoned and juicy, and my salmon lasagna arrived bubbling hot. The dessert, a chocolate parfait with cookies, was soooo delicious. It's a shame it was our last evening in Prerow, otherwise we would have come back here. But it's a good reason to spend our next vacation on the Darß island again:))

Our first evening here was just as most people have described it: incredibly delicious food and really friendly service. We were so impressed that we decided to spend our last evening here again and even bring some friends with us. Our landlady had reserved a table for us for 5:45/6:00 p.m., or at least that's how she told us. We arrived shortly before 6:00 p.m. and were greeted very warmly by the junior manager. Unfortunately, our friends were running late and didn't arrive until around 6:30 p.m. No problem according to the junior manager. However, the senior manager had barely sat down when we came to the table and said we really had to order, as the table had been reserved for 5:45 p.m. and the place would soon go up in flames because we were so much later. The two of them didn't even have a chance to look at the menu in peace. Since one of them doesn't know much about fish, he asked for a recommendation, which unfortunately didn't come. Quite the opposite: the reaction here was very rude. I have never experienced a host treat their guests as unfriendly as was the case here. The second incident was when my father waited what felt like an eternity for his second beer. Things like that can go unnoticed. Usually, you'll hear a brief apology here. Instead, we were made to feel like we were being too impatient when we asked. The third absolute no-go moment was when my husband unfortunately had to complain about his second glass of wine. He had a Pinot Noir, and the first glass was really delicious. The second came from a new bottle, and the wine was unfortunately not okay. That can happen, and it's always annoying. Not every bottle is of the same quality, that's the way it is, unfortunately. For a host to come to the table and essentially portray the guest as an idiot who's just being stupid (other people like the wine too), is still something that is absolutely unacceptable! Then the comment, "You don't have to drink it..." (Of course it was on the bill.) Sorry, that's not how you treat guests. We certainly felt unwanted and like second-class guests tonight. And even though the food was delicious again, we definitely won't be coming back. I have no idea if the senior was just having a bad day or if he's always like that. Ultimately, it doesn't matter; it really ruined our last evening of vacation.

It was truly delicious. We had scampi and cod with delicious fried potatoes. We'll definitely be back. Note: Table reservations should be made at least two days in advance.

Spicy fish soup and the seafood platter with three kinds of fish and scampi were a fitting end to our vacation. The maritime ambiance and the very friendly service added to the perfect finishing touch. We'll definitely be back next year!

We have been guests at the Seeteufel for years and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent, the service is very good. We'd love to come back.

We have been spending our summer holidays on the Darss for years and have been guests in the restaurant at least twice during that time. It always tastes very good and we are also impressed by the ambience. However, a reservation in advance is definitely necessary. The restaurant is not that big and always has a lot of guests. We are already looking forward to our next visit in the summer.

We had dinner there on a short vacation. A quaint restaurant with friendly and entertaining service and delicious food. It is a bit remote and therefore not overcrowded with tourists. We can highly recommend the monkfish.

Child-friendly, rustic and simply delicious! At the recommendation of my parents, we ate at “Seeteufel” today. The guest room is cozy, rustic and typically Nordic furnished. No fancy Micki - just great! I can only say one thing about the service: such a friendly and warm manner - unfortunately this is no longer a given, especially with the children! The children thought it was great - something to do while they waited AND a little surprise from the treasure chest after the meal. Family friendliness 100%! The food was incredibly delicious - everything was beautifully prepared! Thank you for this nice evening! We would come back at any time!

You have the feeling of sitting in a cabin, wonderfully furnished in a "sea bear" style, with many details typical of a ship. Simply cozy. You get the feeling you're visiting friends 🙂I've rarely eaten such good salmon!! The operation is wonderfully simple. Price/performance definitely appropriate! Be sure to make a reservation, as there aren't many seats and guesthouse guests often eat there too. It's a shame that we didn't discover this restaurant sooner 😔But we made a reservation for a second evening straight away☺️

I've never eaten so deliciously. The fish was always fried and steamed to perfection. It's a shame that we don't have such a great fish restaurant. The side dishes were also absolutely delicious. There is a changing dessert (e.g. Pina Colada Parfait, Chocolate-Pineapple Parfait) that cannot be beaten. The ambience is just a place to feel good. Fish dinner in a sailor atmosphere with Santiano music. I can only recommend it.

Great main courses. Only the fish soup was more like broth, which didn't justify the price of over 10 euros (cup). A shrimp, 4 small pieces of fish, some vegetables and broth. A pity. Everything else great.

Perfect 😃 smoked salmon starter 😍 homemade is homemade! As a main course, on the one hand, the delicious spicy fillet pot (very tender meat with noodles👍) and the fish platter: not to be beaten! Very nice, cozy, family-run restaurant with a nice maritime atmosphere. You will be warmly welcomed, friendly and served quickly. The food was simply great, delicious and freshly prepared and even small special requests were addressed immediately. We were so impressed that we went there three times in the first week of vacation in April 2024. If we are in the area again, we would be happy to do so. Small, mega exciting “pirate nest”. Reservation of a table is recommended. Food was super delicious (the menu is clear, but the quality is excellent!!!) We had feta in bacon as a starter, then plaice and catfish fillet for the main course and then a Pina colada parfait for dessert... It's been so delicious for a long time!!! Service was also great. Conclusion: it's a bit hidden, but you should definitely visit when you're in Prerow!!!

So gut zubereiteten und frischen Fisch hab ich glaub ich noch nie gegessen. Auch die Einrichtung im Lokal ist sehr besonders und man hat etwas zum Staunen. Der Wirt ist sehr freundlich. Wir würden bestimmt jede Woche hierher kommen, wenn wir hier wohnen würden. Ein echter Geheimtipp!

Leckeres Fischrestaurant in 2.Reihe hinter der Touristenroute. Es ist ratsam einen Tisch zu reservieren, da das Restaurant nur über eine begrenzte Anzahl von Tischen in Innenraum verfügt. Lecker Fisch zu angemessenen Preis gegessen. Keine schnörkelige Garnierungen, dafür aber gute leckere Hausmannskost. Nette Bedienung, stimmige Einrichtung mit Charakter. Gern wieder.

Das Essen ein Träumchen. Wohlfühlatmosphäre pur. Hier die versprochenen 5 Sterne. Und ein Extralob, endlich mal eine Lokalität, in der es Metalltrinkröhrchen gibt. Ich komme nächstes Mal wieder.
