See - Café / Beach Grill in Hannover

The snack bar has a new owner. The selection is great, with friendly service and fair prices. We sat on the new terrace overlooking the meadow. We'd love to come back!

Very, very tasty fries. Cold beer. Looks nice.

We pass by there on our bike rides. So far, we've only had cakes there, and they're delicious. The prices are OK, too.

How can you waste so much potential? The food on offer is a bad joke: currywurst, fries, meatballs, potato salad - that's it. The entire area is run down and the toilets are disgusting. With a decent offering, the snack bar would be a gold mine given the crowds at the lake. But in this way you really force the guests to feed themselves.

Were at the lake again these days. Had a quiet coffee with cake. Very pleasant. We liked it again. Idyllic!

Nice sun terrace, simple but well maintained. Drinks, coffee & cake, fries + currywurst on a plate with cutlery. Friendly innkeeper. Only the mayo is somehow a bit cheeky at 70 cents. But I'm happy to pay it and consider it a tip. :-)

HOST makes a lot of effort. Much better and friendlier service than in previous years.

Currywurst smells unpleasant and tastes sour. Be fresh goods. I do not think so. Environment is nice, owner friendly.

It says "Open until 6pm". But unfortunately it was closed today.

If it were possible to give no star at all, I would do it!!! The owner of this location harasses emergency services during a large-scale exercise. I hope nothing ever happens to him where he needs their help. Just cheeky

The lake is nice for walking.. The name See Cafe/Beach Grill promises a lot, but that's not quite true. On the outside everything looks pretty unkempt. The smell of old grease wafts out through the sales window. On a sunny spring day we wanted ice cream. It was sticky and greasy, like last year. Apparently he had just gotten the ice cream fresh. We each got new ice cream. The first impression was deceptive. That was nothing either. It was then discarded. We didn't want to go back then. Tuition money... It's a shame about this beautiful area where so much could be possible if you knew how to put it together.

Was here on 9/8/23. I ordered a cup of coffee and a piece of cheesecake. Both were very tasty. The gentleman at the service was nice and friendly. Unfortunately there wasn't much going on. Maybe word of the improvement needs to spread first. So help the bistro, it's stupid without it.

Lots of nice seating options, lots of bike stands, super friendly staff and the food is also very tasty. 😊👍🏼

We read through the old reviews beforehand. Good thing there is a new operator on it. The food and drinks are good. Very, very friendly and attentive team. A bit old, okay. The city should renovate the toilet facility.

Für etwas kühles zu Trinken am See ist es gut

Der vermutliche Betreiber war zu Beginn des Besuchs leider sehr unfreundlich. Ich habe einen Cappuccino bestellt, welcher ebenfalls sehr enttäuschend war, da er keinen Schaum hatte. Das Ambiente von dem See ist super. Das Ambiente des Cafés ist leider eher ungemütlich. Auf den Tischen sind Schilder, welche aufgrund von Nässe unlesbar sind. Auch die Übersicht der Speisen sieht nicht ansprechend aus. Sehr schade, dass das Potenzial der Umgebung hier nicht genutzt wird.

Edit: Neuer Besitzer und zack geht es. Sehr nettes und sympathisches Paar - kein Vergleich zu vorher. Currywurst und Pommes sehr lecker. ____________________________________________________________ Ja Freundlichkeit müsste der Besitzer noch lernen, vor allem finde ich es dreist sich bei der Kundschaft zu beschweren das wegen dem Maschseefest zu wenig Kundschaft bei Ihm wäre.

Der Service ist sehr unfreundlich und die Zubereitung ist sehr langsam

Schöne Location, ideales Ziel für Spaziergänge und Fahrradtouren, schmutzige Tische und unfreundliche Bedienung (bloß nicht mehr reden als nötig)

Essen war bisher immer ok und preislich in Ordnung.

extrem unfreundlicher indischer verkäufer. ekehlhafter typ. und dann wird auch noch das falsche zubereitet . wenigstens wr der kaffee gut deswegen gerade noch 2 sterne.
