Schwester Kumpir in Hamburg

My mother had been there a few days earlier with a friend, and they enjoyed it so much that she wanted to bring us (her daughters) for a nice dinner. We ordered online and waited for our order, but there was no call or bell to let us know the food was ready. The food was so incredibly cold that it was completely unusable. We asked them to heat it up, and two minutes later it arrived cold again. We had actually wanted to order other things, but after the cold food, we didn't feel like eating anything else. Perhaps it was also due to the unfriendly and grumpy woman at the counter; she just didn't seem to care about anything. There were two young boys there when my mother was there. Besides, the order didn't look the way it should have.

The menu has been expanded, very good, and it tastes good too.

Both cups we ordered were cold. When we complained, we received an arrogant reply: "Well, that's just how it is." Outrageous! That's the last time we'll ever go to that store. We used to be regular customers. But we don't have to put up with such arrogant service!

As if they don't want anyone in the store. Charging €10 for a waffle is one thing, but it's another to only put a tiny strawberry and a hint of chocolate on top. If you mention it, you're treated like an idiot.

Any negative review is completely unjustified in my opinion. I was in Hamburg and we spontaneously stumbled upon this place, and I have to say it was the best Kumpir I've ever eaten. 10/10 in terms of selection. I haven't found a place as good as this one in Berlin yet. If I'm ever in Hamburg again, I'll definitely be back!

The food is certified halal, but the meat is from the Brandt Brothers or something. They also sell pork, etc. That's a scam. Everyone should decide for themselves whether they eat halal or not. Because we were hungry, we chose a vegetarian baked potato. It tasted okay.

Wow! Super tasty. Great vegan options. The Kumpir are really great, but you should be hungry. The waffles are really something to feast on here. Sister Kumpir, I will visit you more regularly now. I can only recommend the food and the relaxed atmosphere.

Good offer, which was also recently expanded. Every now and then the orders take a while in a larger group and special requests are forgotten. But it is always resolved very politely and courteously. Only annoying when things have to go a little faster.

**5 stars – A real highlight in Hamburg! best buddy!!!!** I was with *Sister Kumpir* today and am absolutely thrilled. The buddy I had there was fantastic! I enjoyed it with a delicious combination of fresh salad, spicy kisir and crispy breaded breast fillet. Every bite was a real treat. There was also a *New York Roll* with *Chicken Roll*, which also tasted excellent – ​​freshly prepared, aromatic and perfectly balanced. The store itself is a real eye-catcher. The design is modern, inviting and very clean. You immediately notice that a lot of emphasis is placed on a pleasant ambience. The staff are extremely friendly and competent, which made the visit even more pleasant. You immediately feel comfortable and welcome. I thought it was particularly great that the store also thinks about the little guests. There are many activities for children, from coloring books to games to books - there is something for every age group. This means parents can enjoy their meal in peace while the children have fun. All in all, a fantastic visit – I will definitely be back and would highly recommend Sister Kumpir to everyone!

Very nice and friendly staff, good interior design and appetizing food. There are different toppings for potatoes. The potato comes straight from the oven and can be used e.g. Topped with arugula, bulgur salad, red cabbage, cucumber, tomatoes, cheese and much more. In terms of price, it is completely in line with other Kumpir stores. Wonderful for a relaxed evening/lunch.

There's nothing to complain about. Except it was so delicious and you wish you had a double portion. Nice shop, really. The quality of the ingredients and the overall dishes are great. Unfortunately there was nothing there for our little daughter. A kids menu with a few fries or something similar would be nice.

The store leaves a very well-kept impression. Everything is clean and tidy, which contributes to the pleasant atmosphere. The selection of halal meat is impressive. The Kumpir construction kit is a great idea. Unfortunately there were a few small problems: the QR code on the table didn't work and one of the employees seemed a bit overworked. This resulted in a longer waiting time and a slight mix-up when ordering. The meal itself was satisfying. I hope these small flaws will be addressed soon as the potential for a great experience is there."

I think prices are not appropriate. A potato with a few fillings shouldn't be more expensive than a kebab that you can get a few meters away. The price list is on there somewhere, but you can also make the customer aware of it. For two buddies without drinks over €16 is quite steep.

Always friendly, good prices and all sauces except the sour cream are vegan. Vegan cheese, meat substitutes and vegan butter are also available. I can only recommend it 👍

Truly fantastic New York Rolls!

When I was still working in Wilhelmsburg, I would eat there every now and then or take a kumpir (baked potato) with me. I was always very satisfied. Very tasty potatoes and toppings.

Kartoffeln sind gut, Bedienung freundlich, Zutaten langweilig und fast alles aus der Dose oder Glas wie zb Champignons... Das ist schade, warum nicht frisch? Vielleicht liegt es an Corona? Wäre zu hoffen. Verpackung für takeaway kostet Aufpreis (!) ohne konkreten Hinweis (erst auf Nachfrage), das ist nicht okay! Immerhin kein Geschirr benutzt etc... Habe ich in der Form noch nicht woanders erlebt.

Dieser Laden ist eine kleine Perle in Wilhelmsburg. Der Service ist toll, die Atmosphäre ist ruhig und entspannend und das Essen sehr lecker. Absolut empfehlenswert. Das einzige, was nicht jedermanns Geschmack ist, ist die Musik. Doch die hab ich für das gute Essen leichtfertig in Kauf genommen. Das war es wert. ☺️🤤

Eines der schönsten Lokale in Wilhelmsburg. Neben super leckeren Kumpir und frischen Waffeln kann man auch die moderne und sehr angenehme Raumgestaltung genießen. Immer wieder gerne!

Nette Mitarbeiter, es schmeckt gut aber die Soßen können evtl geändert werden bzw. Etwas flüssiger. Bei Kumpir sollten verschiedene Sorten angeboten werden.

Interessanter kleiner Laden in Alt-Wilhelmsburg für den kleinen Hunger zwischendurch. Kartoffeln sollte man schon mögen, denn Alternativen zur Kumpir gibt es hier nicht, und das ist auch gut so. Dafür kann man aus vielen verschiedenen Toppings auswählen, nettes Ambiente und freundliche Bedienung gibt's gratis dazu. Das kleine Lokal macht einen gemütlichen und persönlichen Eindruck. Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung.
