Schweinske Bergedorf in Hamburg

Fried potatoes, schnitzel and onion soup were cold and, when advised, were only warmed up in the microwave and served again. The portions were far too small and carelessly packed on the plate. The worst Schweinzke I've ever been to. Never again in Bergedorf.

Gaumengraus, eine glatte 6!!! Wir waren gestern zum Mittag mit meiner Familie dort Essen. Wir hatten damals in Hamburg gewohnt und waren öfters dort mal essen. Es war immer eine Adresse die man empfehlen konnte, uns hat es immer sehr gut geschmeckt. Kann man mal wieder hingehen dachten wir aber es wurde aus einem „Gaumenschmaus ein Gaumengraus“ Man musste kein Sternekoch sein, um festzustellen das dass was gestern dort aufgetischt wurde eine glatte 6 war! Erstmal hatte ich einen schwarzen Johannisbeere Saft bestellt, was kam eine Schorle! Paprika Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln bestellt, was kam das ganze mit Pommes!? Die Schnitzel Größe war auch ein Witz! Die Bratkartoffeln wurden auf Nachfrage nachgereicht…ja…was soll ich dazu! In fett schwimmende fertig Bratkartoffeln! Die Schnitzel waren kaum durch, lag daran wenn sie vor dem braten nicht geklopft werden, wird es eine zähe Masse und somit kaut man sich fest! Die Pommes waren naja…hell, weich, das war auch nichts. Jetzt kommen wir zur sogenannten Paprika/Tomaten Sauce…warum macht man diese nicht selber? Geht total einfach! Es wird stattdessen Letscho aus dem Glas serviert! Salat war im Dressing getränkt schmeckte nach nichts. Fazit: Atmosphäre war ok, Essen ungenießbar, Servicekräfte ok. Preise sind völlig unrealistisch! Das war somit der letzte Besuch in dieser Restaurantkette.

The toilets are not clean, without soap and towel paper. There is no heating in the restaurant and it is cold and no music. Service and kitchen are ok.

I was at this restaurant for the second time and the food was delicious the second time. I can't say a bad word about the service... but the condition of the toilet the second time was just as bad. There was toilet paper lying around on the floor near the toilets, there were no paper towels to dry hands after washing. I don't understand how other women can leave such dirt behind, but it would also be nice if the courage workers took better care of the toilet conditions, since there wasn't that much going on. But I don't know if I would dare to eat there again if the toilets were in such a condition.

Unfortunately, the whole walk was free, no EC payment was possible, it was written at the door. 15 years self-employed and never had a failure. Incomprehensible to me. Addendum 24.12: and once again no EC card payment is possible. I drive past here on the bus all the time and always have the same problem. Don't think this is due to technical problems 😉. You can also lose guests!

We absolutely cannot understand the bad reviews. We didn't have to wait long, we were greeted very friendly, served courteously and my wife's special request was fulfilled without any problems. The schnitzel was crispy and tender. The fries were perfect and my wife's salad was fresh and delicious. We were very satisfied and will definitely come back.

A group of 12 people ate in a relaxed atmosphere in the evening. Super nice, reliable service person. Food prepared very quickly and well by the kitchen, although all guests order different things. Gladly again.

We were here by chance. The service was nice, but there were no soft drinks because the system is broken. There was also only cash payment and that in 2024 because the device is broken. Maybe send a technician there? Food is solidly mediocre, but no drinks and no card payment is really a joke. Above all, you should mention this again BEFORE ordering. Unfortunately we were placed in the children's blanket. Even though the store wasn't full, the service needed a lot of improvement. For dinner...we had kale with smoked pork and cabbage sausage. Unfortunately, the kale was only lukewarm and the cola was non-carbonated. The Kassler was grilled, something you don't know. We won't be visiting this piggy anymore.

Very good restaurant, free tables even without a reservation, the menu is extensive and the drinks menu is also sufficient, you could perhaps integrate the drinks menu into the menu to provide a better overview. The service is also impeccably nice and answers all questions. I waited less than 20 minutes for the main course. Great again

I find it difficult to leave a star here at all. If, as a family with a child, after waiting almost an hour, you are told off for another 15 minutes and then 40 minutes later you are still told it will take a while, then you shouldn't be surprised if the guests leave and probably don't come back. Worst Schweinske experience in all these years and from experience, unfortunately this is not an isolated case.

Unfortunately the food was anything but good, but the chef couldn't do anything about it. We ordered the schnitzel and the grilled plate and sat diagonally at the food counter. The waiter ran through half the shop and took orders, unfortunately he forgot to pick up the food and bring it to the tables and when he finally noticed that there were already 8 meals there, he ran from table to table with the plates and didn't know what else to do who ordered what. After an hour we got our plates and everything was completely cold. I told him that we don't eat it that way, so I went back to the kitchen, put it in the microwave and got out again, the sauce bowl was really hot but the sauce itself was still cold, the meat was dry and hard and the fries were soggy. It's a shame about the money but it's even sadder that it wasn't a nice evening

!! Danger !! Get proof! Recently they come to the table without a receipt and say a higher amount than what is on the bill and 2 more drinks were simply added to the bill. Food but normal as always, service very dull, forgetting things on the go and constantly throwing things down.

Schnitzel with fried potatoes. The schnitzel was ok, the dip was delicious, the fried potatoes were of dubious quality: unevenly cut, poorly fried, barely brown, despite onions and a bit soggy. Bacon almost tasteless. The service was a pleasure: friendly, approachable, asked for feedback and apologized for deficiencies.

Schweinske now also offers deliveries via Lieferando. However, no one appears to be monitoring the computer that displays the orders. After a wait of 1 hour and 20 minutes, my order was canceled - probably only noticed when the computer was turned off at 9 p.m.

Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed and disgusted!! I would prefer to distribute 0 stones here. The food I ate was disgusting! The paths tasted like cardboard fried in old fat and the schnitzel was so hard that it was very difficult to cut. The breading on the schnitzel has also fallen off as if the schnitzel had simply been warmed up. Carelessly done and really disgusting, sorry but I have to say that. So this restaurant is not sour, not to mention the floor. Unfortunately, I regret that I didn't head for the exit after seeing the guests' seats and instead spent 55 euros on disgusting food. My friend had the grill plate with 3 fart-dry pieces of meat. Can anyone even cook in this kitchen anymore? It's all finished anyway and the fact that it's still going to be messed up is super embarrassing. The menus, which tens of people touch and hold in their hands every day, were as greasy as the table! EVERYTHING WAS DIRTY! Salt and sugar pepper shakers just yuck! I would like to see if the health department gets involved Honestly, that's embarrassing... What's wrong with the people who work there? And when I stupidly read the comments that were written 5 months ago afterwards, unfortunately nothing has changed. If you continue to work and "cook" like this, the shop can be closed in the next few years. So I wouldn't think it's that bad.!! Very bad!!!!

The service was very friendly and quick, but we were very disappointed with the food... we have eaten at Schweinske several times in different branches in Hamburg. The pepper sauce for my schnitzel didn't taste homemade, like it came out of a bag, chemically...the consistency was also questionable...the schnitzels were cooked very unevenly...it's a shame

Unfortunately there is no wheelchair accessible toilet. Otherwise great like every pig I know.

We were probably there when new service staff were training. Things didn't go quite smoothly and we had to wait a little longer. Nevertheless, we should all be grateful that there are still service staff. We both chose a schnitzel dish, which was excellent in terms of freshness and taste. Because things weren't going well yet, we got the bread with the main course. Without dip. Of course that didn't fit and we left the bread untouched. It's actually a good thing, because otherwise we wouldn't have been able to finish the schnitzel dishes 😀 Conclusion: It was very tasty 😋 and we would definitely eat there again.

Great pork in a well-known good quality. Unfortunately, the schnitzels are no longer as big as they used to be, but the prices have increased 😂 Sitting outside by/on the water is fantastic. We'll be back.

Nice, friendly service, large selection of freshly prepared dishes and the waiting times were below average. The lumberjack steak was well seasoned and well fried. My burger was tasty and juicy. The commitment of the staff (there should actually be more for the size of the restaurant) is amazing. Don't let negative opinions get you down. We really enjoyed it and enjoyed it. We can only recommend the restaurant.

This one star isn't for the waitstaff, but for Management that thinks it's okay to have a single waiter cover an entire restaurant alone for the breakfast shift. The poor man tried to do his best, but with 2 inexperienced "assistants" that could barely clear tables, there was simply too many people to serve.

Delicious food, but where to park? It's certainly a great restaurant for locals, but if you're a non-local person, first looking for a parking space and then walking there can be a challenge. The menu offers variety, drinks like normal, but also cocktails and non-alcoholic variations. The service is friendly and attentive, even if you were inattentive 😉 it's noticeable and you correct yourself 😊. Tips on the composition of the dishes and how to choose the best side dish are given. Reference is made to special offers and the guest is treated in an exemplary manner. We liked it and will remember it if the path takes us here again. No photos today...I was probably too hungry and unfocused to think about it 😘

Became worse and worse each time. There were times when we liked being in Bergedorf near Hamburg near Schweinske on the B5. Today for the very last time. The tables are super dirty! Yuck!!!

So the service was a 10/10! The gentleman who served us had a great sense of humor and was friendly and cheeky as expected! Unfortunately the food was a bit cold and little! I would always wave to the gentleman from service!

Nice restaurant, food was ok. Vegan citizen with wedges was well done. Schnitzel with fries was very simple, sauce was tasteless. Ambience was okay, minus the cleanliness in the restaurant. The price-performance ratio is very good - 35 euros for 2 dishes and 1 drink each.

So sorry, but if you keep this up, the store won't last much longer. We only got our drinks 45 minutes after ordering and the food didn't come until over 90 minutes later. It doesn't work at all. You really feel sorry for the experienced waitress, she tries very hard, but you can't do everything on your own. The “temps” stand around useless while she does everything. They definitely either need to be trained better or let go, sorry. The food was actually quite tasty, but of course the negative aspects outweighed the negative aspects.

TOP restaurant with beer garden on the water. Cozy atmosphere. Great selection of food/drinks and friendly, attentive service. There was a lot going on during the visit, but the staff still had everything under control, even if there was a bit of a wait (with an announcement). Recommendation! 1A!

We always liked staying here because the price was right. Unfortunately that wasn't the case today. Really carelessly prepared and it tasted bland. I didn't think it was appropriate for a baked potato with dry turkey for 10 euros and a really small amount of sour cream and the chicken breast with the fries was also a very small portion. We won't be coming back any time soon. But the service was very friendly.

Der schwimmende Biergarten im alten Hafenbecken ist genial. Hier fühlten wir uns super wohl. Service war ebenfalls klasse. Essen war reichlich, preiswert und gut. Bei unserem 2. Besuch regnete es, so dass das Schwimmdeck geschlossen war. Im Restaurant war mir persönlich die Musik zu laut. Auch hier war der Service aber wieder bestens. Alles in allem ein Restaurant, wenn man abends schnell und reichlich zu moderaten Preisen etwas essen möchte... oder wenn man laue Sommerabende bei kühlen Getränken an einem schönen Ort genießen möchte.

My fried potatoes were cold and some of them were still raw inside. The side salad no longer looked fresh either. Overall, I'm absolutely disappointed with this pig. The one in Lohbrügge is miles better. Today the lights weren't even turned on outside as it got darker. Correction: Calculation was correct.

Unfortunately, we were only greeted after the waitresses behind our table had finished their long smoking break. Unfortunately, the tables were not cleaned and were only cleaned when requested, but the waitress was very accommodating and friendly. In contrast to the service.. unfortunately we were only able to order drinks once even though we sat for over 2 hours, and that was at the beginning.. the glass was cleared away but we were not asked if we wanted something more to drink.. we then had to pay for the bill come to the store independently. It could have been a really nice evening, but was unfortunately shortened by the service.

We were here for a late breakfast. The atmosphere is modern and clean. The waitress was at the table immediately and brought us the menu and asked for drinks. The choice is a lot on a brunch burger and the cheese mess with 3 buns. The brunch burger looked delicious, I was a bit surprised because the cheese was too big for my big fluffy buns. A small corner of Camembert, 3 slices of cheese, a blob of jam and 1x cream cheese and 2x butter adorned the plate, which was much too large. The star also disappears here. Everything tasted good, but there was far too little, I asked for 1x jam, which was brought straight away, but is that necessary? The Camembert wasn't even enough for half a roll. Everything was fresh and tasted good.

Waitress said "If you had said something straight away we would have redone it" Well, and then wait another half hour? And will it get better then? - Because of the waiting time, we previously asked for the usual side bread. "The kitchen is busy and can't get the bread up." was then the justification. After another 10 minutes it came. The small side bread looked as if the children in front of us hadn't finished it... Waitress "It just looks like that because we always pick it and serve it like that" Ah yes...yum...sorry for asking... The crowning glory of the service was the payment. “No card payment possible” "Oh? We didn't know. But we have cash, just a moment please." "YES THAT'S AT THE FRONT!" "We just didn't see it. You could have said it more kindly." The waitress then took the cash and hissed at my companion, “Well, what are you doing to me now??” And walked away...Of course the boss wasn't in the house. Well ladies and gentlemen: this is Schweinske in 2024 👍 I will never visit this store again and certainly won't recommend it to others.

Pure Katastrophe!!! Waren vor 4 Tagen mit meiner Familie zu 6 dort Essen. Erstmal dauerte es 20 Minuten bis ein Kellner kam. Nachdem wir endlich die Bestellung abgegeben hatten, kam das Essen früher als die Getränke. Grund: Barman war mehr mit dem telefonieren beschäftigt, statt unsere Getränke zu machen!!! Essen war lieblos angerichtet und hat absolut nicht geschmeckt! Schnitzel war kaum durch und die Wedges steinhart! Nudelpfanne war eher ne Nudelsuppe und die Sourcream hat sauer geschmeckt!!! Nachdem wir eine 2. Runde Getränke bestellen wollten, war keine Servicekraft im Laden. Alle waren sie zusammen Rauchen. Auch das dauerte weitere 30 Minuten, obwohl nur 3 weitere Tische da waren!! Fazit: Atmosphäre war ok, Essen ungenießbar und Servicekräfte unaufmerksam! Dieser Laden ist absolut nicht weiter zu empfehlen!!! Jahrelange Stammgäste verloren!!

New owner and unfortunately not so good breakfast for us. Omelette with thick pieces of cheese and pieces of cucumber. Scrambled eggs slightly watered down. Drinks had to be served upon request. Otherwise staff attentive.

Kwam binnen, ging zitten en werd kort daarop redelijk nors aangesproken. Van het gestelde, uiensoep en geschnetzeltes maat daarbij friet, viel de uiensoep wat tegen en ontbraken de Spätzle bij het Geschnetzeltes. Men dacht dat ik die niet wilde daar ik ook friet bestelde. Geschnetzeltes smaakte overigens uitstekend. Prijs redelijk aan de hoge kant. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Gutes und preiswertes Essen und Getränke. Die Portionen sind qualitativ und quantitativ ausreichend. Das Personal war an verschiedenen Tagen, an denen wir dort waren, mal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam bis völlig desinteressiert.

It took a long time to wait until our food finally came, and unfortunately it wasn't convincing. The salmon was too dry, the asparagus wasn't peeled well but was flaky, and the potatoes were super dry. Dropping almost 50 euros on two sodas doesn't feel adequate.

Service was very quick, unfortunately they didn't listen and didn't bring what was ordered despite asking. Schnitzel was far dry, just like the chicken crossies. But the worst thing is that, unlike other Schweinskes, this one doesn't offer a barrel brew. Conclusion: only conditionally recommended!

The quite large restaurant is close to the H4 Hotel, which is why we decided to eat here at short notice. The menu is similar to that of similar system restaurants. The prices are reasonable. The restaurant wasn't full and we were served nicely and very quickly. What is there to complain about, why only 4 stars? The schnitzel would have deserved a little more time in the pan, and the fries could have used a little more time in the oil. The sauce for the schnitzel was tasty, but somehow indefinable and thin. We would have hoped for a little less fat in the meat when frying. But overall everything was ok. And we could have easily done without the rolls that were served in advance. We liked the fact that you can be flexible when choosing the side dish. Small addendum six months later: my chicken schnitzel with teriyaki sauce was delicious, the fries were hard and the baked potato was cold. It's probably a matter of luck to get good food.

Great location! Service and food very casual. A clear recommendation! A special feature worth mentioning is that the boss stands behind the employees and good performance is rewarded.

First the really positive thing, our waitress did everything herself 👌👌👌👌 very hard-working woman 👍 However, the price-performance ratio has really decreased compared to before 😒😒😒😒my husband had the cheese mess for €8.80 🙈 it was a packaged small camembert and fresh cheese as well as 3 slices of cheese, that's not possible 👎 luckily we don't eat anymore so much so that he was full. Luckily he also ordered extra fried eggs for €3.40 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 . I had the morning grouch with extra meat, it was okay but there were only 4-5 pieces of onions on the extra meat 🫤🫤🫤🫤 I was really afraid to ask for more onions, they would definitely have cost extra 😟 The place was so clean. However, I have to say that Schweinske is done for me, the prices are not right.

I hadn't been to the Schweinske for a few years and was looking forward to it... Unfortunately, the schnitzels, which Schweiske is actually famous for, are no longer what they used to be. I'm not a chef, but for me it was fried molded meat. There used to be beaten pieces where the breading came off crispy. It's a shame, but I won't eat schnitzel here again.

Our visit from March 24, 2024 at 7:30 p.m Overall it was never that good... Burger tasted very good... My schnitzel was okay and my wife's schnitzel didn't taste good at all. The "best" thing, however, was the fact that the light above us went out and we were pretty much in the dark (children's play area). The problem is known, however, in an empty restaurant (both service "staff" for the Xth time during the smoking break), at least before the defect, we were initially not served at all, then in order to draw attention to the matter, only the kitchen was there (! ) and in the end the helpless and incompetent service couldn't or didn't want to turn the lights back on or give us a discount or anything like that. So I have to admit that I certainly wasn't able to make the restaurant chain appealing to my wife and that we'll probably visit the nearby BlockHouse again on our next visit to Hamburg, because there's only positive things to report...😋👍 Many greetings from the Spreewald where service is still written with a capital "S"...😃☝️
