Ambience quite ok. Service was nice. A little more expensive in price. The food was really not good. I would say it was the worst schnitzel I have ever eaten. And the spaetzle was quite greasy. There were three of us and none of us enjoyed the food.

I was eating at Schwabentroll on Wednesday. Ambience is like that. The volume is definitely too much, but the worst thing for me was a fingertip of a black glove in my food. When I asked the, mind you, unsympathetic chef about it, all I got was a mischievous grin. This is not acceptable. Therefore I cannot recommend this location.

Hello Schwabentroll team. Unfortunately I have to give my review now. Was your guest, the first impression was average. The environment was far too loud. Unfortunately the food was just average for the price. I found the loud music from the kitchen to be very disturbing, and I also found the cook to be very intrusive and unhygienic. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend your establishment.

Service wasn't that friendly, the atmosphere on the day was tense and not professional, slightly bitchy

We were there with a small group to have something to eat. We called 30 minutes before and there was still space. The selection of food is good. I had the rump steak with baked potatoes. The meat was fried to perfection (medium rare) and was very tender. Really good meat, no tendons or anything like that. Just good. For starters I had a mushroom soup, which was also very tasty. My friends had Philly Chees steak, schnitzel and stuffed schnitzel. Everyone said it was delicious. The service was very friendly and the food came quite quickly. Highly recommended. What you should also know is that after 7 p.m. you can no longer get in through all the doors of the parking garage. You can only get in at A3. This door is directly in front of the restaurant.

Were there on a Friday evening. There was a lot going on and therefore very loud that the sound had to be raised even when ordering. The food came on time. I've had worse side salads. We both had the Cordonbleu (Gfüldes). Me with fried potatoes and my companion with tavern fries. Both Cordonbleu were much too light. NO roasted aromas, not a bit crossy, just mushy - perhaps briefly turned in the pan and then finished in the convection oven? The filling consisted of a mixture of cheese, which reminded me very much of processed cheese. The meat was very thin, yes I know that's the case with real Wienerschnitzel, but it was a pork cordon bleu. After I had tasted the fried potatoes at lunch a few days before (I had a really delicious flatbread soup) and they were really great, I was really looking forward to them. Unfortunately this time they were almost unseasoned, monster thick (2-3 times as thick as the meat) and just plain bland. What we also noticed with meat. Thanks to the sauce we ordered, there was some spice to it. What should be emphasized is that the Wirtshaus fries were extremely tasty. Of course you wonder how such a stark difference can arise... possibly there are 2 chefs on different shifts... Oh yes, another tip: the entire kitchen staff should NEVER forget that it is a glass kitchen and that it doesn't work so well if you watch people eating from different containers... Conclusion for us, the price-performance ratio is not right at all

Nice tavern atmosphere. The food is very tasty, but unfortunately there are very few vegetarian options. This can definitely still be improved! The vegetarian dumplings are highly recommended

Super delicious food and very nice staff

I had an amazing experience here. Along with our order, to our surprise, they served a complementary soup for the kid, which i thought was a wonderful gesture. The food was delicious, and the service was exemplary. After our meal, they surprised us with a delightful desert that the kid loved. The staff were incredibly attentive, checking on us often to ensure everything was perfect. Overall, it was an exceptional dining experience!.

I was there for dinner on the public holiday and I was more than thrilled. The atmosphere was great, the service was super nice and the open kitchen where you can watch the chef Daniel and his team was simply excellent and the food was very, very tasty. Unfortunately we live in Munich otherwise we would be regular guests here. But we'll be back.

We had lunch at Schwabentroll for the first time today and certainly not the last time. We received a very friendly welcome from the staff and were served competently. The lunch menu is good value for money with soup and dessert. The restaurant was very busy and the staff had everything under control. The food was delicious and the portions were typically large. Keep it up, a very clear recommendation from us.

Was there 4 or 5 times. The meat was always delicious. But last visit we shared an appetizer. Various main courses. All 3 had stomach problems the next day. The shop is pretty. Almost all of the waitresses were super nice and quick.

You can eat there, but you can eat better next door. The Philly Style Burger tastes boring. The accompanying coleslaw had way too much caraway, the side salad was OK. The fries, however, were delicious. The currywurst tasted a bit strange.

The Schwabentroll Restaurant is simply fantastic! From the warm welcome to the last bite, everything was perfect. The traditional Swabian cuisine here is at the highest level - we were particularly impressed with the Maultaschen and the onion roast. The ambience is cozy and invites you to linger, while the rustic decoration gives the whole thing an authentic touch. The service was attentive and very friendly, which made our visit thoroughly enjoyable. A real gem for lovers of Swabian cuisine. Clear 5 stars and an absolute recommendation!

We were very positively surprised when we were here for the first time. The Roman gallery isn't that great, but the restaurant itself is very nice and modern. The food is really excellent. They are really good at schnitzels, steaks and burgers. The kitchen also always provides very tasty variants for variety with the daily menu. The service staff is always very friendly and accommodating.

Perfectly fried, crispy Wiener Schnitzel, delicious homemade potato salad, great unobtrusive service, nice and quiet atmosphere (was there for lunch and sat inside, so not very busy). I'd love to come back! Yummy!

We visited this restaurant on Tuesday, where there was a promotion with a schnitzel platter for 2 people. Unfortunately the portion was very small and could easily have been twice as big (for around €23). The waitress, however, was very friendly.

The meat was okay, the sauce came from a package and the spaetzle wasn't homemade either. Unfortunately, the glasses smelled of dust, which indicates that they had been sitting on the shelf unused for too long.

Clearly the best successor for the Reishaus. Super friendly staff. Food came quickly and was great. Ambience also very nice with a small beer garden. Definitely again!!

The restaurant is in the former rice house. Parking in the underground car park is ok. Good home-style food with unusual ideas that are very tasty. Schnitzel is fried with clarified butter (yummy). The kitchen is visible and the ambience is very cozy with beautiful wood. Unfortunately, when it's full, it's very loud - there are no noise-absorbing partitions. Nice terrace in the courtyard. We like to go to the Schwabentroll because the food is always excellent! The staff is always extremely friendly, (which unfortunately isn't found everywhere these days). Yesterday, July 17th, around 2:30 p.m We were served outside by a service person, which we really liked: She also fulfilled special requests professionally, was very attentive and above all friendly. Brauhaus feeling with charm and a cozy ambience. All the service staff are really very courteous and friendly. Special requests are also taken into account. It's something different! The food, consisting of German cuisine, is ok, the service is good and the prices are a bit higher. Since the tables are not set up next to each other like in other restaurants, you can relax a bit while eating. The transparent kitchen testifies to the quality delivered. Conclusion: Fits, all in all. Recommendation: Wiener Schnitzel with gravy.

I ate the “Veggi salad” and fried potatoes there. The salad was very varied and with a very tasty dressing. The service was very good and the atmosphere was nice. We'd love to come back!

The ambience was really nice, but that was it. The large salad consists of 50% mixed salad and 50% potato salad from the bucket. Potato salad actually has no place in a mixed salad, at 50% it should at least be on the menu.

Home-style restaurant with good food quality and a nice interior ambience. Unfortunately the view from the outside (main street) is not that appealing. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We were even given three desserts as a gift even though we hadn't ordered a meal of the day. Thank you very much for that! It's a shame that no additional star is possible. Ate Wirthausschnitzel for the first time today for 17 euros. The outside edge is dark brown and very light in the middle Such a schnitzel used to be called PNP schnitzel: breading, nothing breading......... Significantly more breading than meat.... The breading was very greasy. I estimate the thickness of the meat to be around 3 mm... Sorry. The quality and the price-performance ratio are not right at all. A pity.

Went here for the first time with friends. The ambience is great and everything is tastefully and lovingly furnished. Parking is great. The parking garage is just below. The service was super nice and accommodating. The food was very tasty and everyone was full. Price/performance simply great. We'd love to come back.

Ambience: The ambience is quite modern and nice, but has virtually nothing to do with the “Swabian tavern” look, which is why the corresponding flair is unfortunately missing. Service: Nice, friendly and attentive. Eat: The selection is large and I also really like the seasonal weekly menu as well as creative dishes, such as the cheese spaetzle sushi - brilliant idea. Unfortunately the food only tasted mediocre. The dumplings, the potato salad and the sauce were standard for my taste, just like you can get it as a ready-made product in any supermarket. That was a bit disappointing. I would rather have a smaller selection on the menu than get the impression that not everything is freshly cooked. The selection of drinks includes well-known brands from large corporations, even the mineral water comes from hundreds of kilometers away - so unfortunately no Swabian regionality here.

The restaurant is very nice and has a pleasant atmosphere, the staff was very friendly and the food came quickly, even though it was busy. I had the black forest burger and it was incredibly tasty. I have nothing negative to say about the restaurant. The prices are a bit high but reasonable in my opinion. Would definitely recommend Schwabentroll.

Haben uns am Abend dazu entschlossen aufgrund guter Bewertungen im Schwabentroll essen zu gehen... 3 Personen...1 Radler,1 Pfefferminztee und 1x Icetee... 1x Blackforest Cheeseburger 1xSchwappasbrettl und Bruchetta Menge war reichlich...alles sehr lecker. Nette Bedienung und gutes Ambiente... Haben für alles 65€ bezahlt...gern wieder..

Quite okay, but there are much better beer gardens. Prices rather high. Maultaschen were lukewarm, currywurst wasn't to my taste. Service friendly. Don't come back again.

Well, with the best will in the world, I can't understand how such good reviews come about, yes the ambience is nice, the beer garden certainly is too... unfortunately I can't say anything more positive... there were 7 of us who reserved a table, outside... nothing came of it and then we ordered "good Swabian" from the menu. Unfortunately, the end of the song was 7 uneaten plates because the onion roast and its sauce were simply not edible...funnily enough, it was the same with the pork knuckles and the same unspeakably bad sauce that tasted like nothing but greasy with the schnitzel in two different versions....Summary of the evening...the knuckles were partly raw, the sauce was always the same tasteless mush and for the first time in my life I hadn't finished my roast roast...to the staff:...you could There was little to do with the criticism and one had the impression that it wasn't very interesting... Conclusion:. If you want to comfortably enjoy a tarte flambée or burger with a beer, this can definitely be the right place on a good day. If the name suggests that you will get good, hearty Swabian food, you should stay away!!!

We were there with our Krav Maga instructors (approx. 10 people) and was in the Schwabentroll for the first time. I speak on behalf of everyone here and we were absolutely thrilled. Great food, very nice atmosphere and the staff was super friendly and uncomplicated. We will definitely come back and can recommend the location with a clear conscience.

Even if there is little activity on a Sunday evening ..... the guest expects that the menu will still be offered in full. He doesn't expect that the first information before the actual order is that a large part is no longer available. At least in a Swabian-style restaurant, the roast should still be available around 7 p.m. Especially since essentially convenience food (ready-to-eat food) is offered. A pity.

It was our first time there, our expectations were rather muted and then this: schnitzel freshly pounded and breaded. Homemade spaetzle, a gravy that is definitely homemade, clean toilets and friendly service round off the concept. Please please keep it up!

The restaurant is in the city center which is an advantage. The food is adequate and tasty. The wooden plate and the wooden tools are old and worn out. The place could use an update.

The spareribs all u can was excellent. Very tasty and lots of meat on it. Huge portion, so you actually feel full. The service was very courteous and humorous. That's the way it has to be. The atmosphere is very inviting, nice and open. Only the chairs are basically falling apart and are uncomfortable, hence 1 star deduction.

Were here for the first time. The four of us were extremely positive. There were very generous portions, as well as delicious Schwappas (small pans with various Swabian specialties). The waitress (Ellen) was super personable, extremely attentive and accommodating from the first moment. The toilets were also nice, creative and clean, and the same goes for the large, open restaurant area. We were really happy and it's worth coming here. :)

Der Schwaben Troll befindet sich in einem kleinen Einkaufszentrum in Leonberg. Das Zentrum hat vermutlich schon mal bessere Zeiten gesehen, jedenfalls ist es nicht mit ähnlichen Häusern in bekannten Großstädten vergleichbar. Bin zumindest nicht sehr begeistert gewesen von der Umgebung des Restaurants, in das ich von Bekannten zum Abendessen eingeladen wurde. Der Troll befindet sich im 1. oder 2. OG (bin mit dem Aufzug gefahren und habe nicht auf die Stockwerke geachtet), ist barrierefrei erreichbar und halbwegs gut beschildert. Das Lokal selbst ist sehr groß, modern-rustikal und weitläufig eingerichtet. Leider sehr laut, selbst wenn es nicht gut besucht ist: Dröhnender Lärmpegel durch das ganze Restaurant. Es waren nicht alle Tische besetzt, trotzdem mussten wir uns deutlich lauter unterhalten als in ähnlich vergleichbaren Lokalen. Es gibt schwäbische Gerichte, die durch verschiedene andere Klassiker der deutschen Küche ergänzt werden. Dazu regionale Weine und die üblichen Weichgetränke der bekannten Hersteller. Cocktails runden das Flüssigangebot ab. Der Service war sehr flott, gut organisiert und sehr freundlich. Kompliment. Das Essen kam schnell, war heiß und sah appetitlich aus. Leider ist es das auch schon für mich gewesen. Das Wiener Schnitzel vom Kalb war mehr Panade mit einem Hauch Kalbfleisch dazwischen, dazu ein großer Berg Pommes. Die Soße war langweilig, es fehlte das, was man gewöhnlich ‚Pepp‘ nennt. Die Preiselbeeren waren zuckersüß, jedenfalls nichts für mich. Der Espresso nach dem Essen: Hmmm… was soll ich sagen? Einfach nicht so, wie ich es kenne. Die Preise für das gebotene Essen sind vielleicht etwas zu hoch, aber trotzdem im Rahmen. Vielleicht war es einfach nicht mein Geschmack an diesem Abend? Die Menge der Gäste lässt auf ein scheinbar beliebtes Restaurant schließen. Meins ist es nicht. Es war nicht schlecht, aber auch nicht gut, eher unterer Durchschnitt. Man wird satt, was ja der primäre Grund für den Besuch eines Restaurant ist. Leider war an diesem Abend nicht mehr drin. Schade. Aus diesen Gründen kann ich den Schwaben Troll nur bedingt empfehlen. Wer einen schönen Abend mit gutem Essen erleben möchte, der sollte nicht hierher kommen.

Nice modern and above all clean restaurant! The atmosphere is really nice, you feel very comfortable. The menu is Swabian modern - an absolute insider tip is the Wiener Schnitzel, and the Swabian tapas are also highly recommended. A very special thank you to our waiter **Tarek** - I wish that every restaurant had such a great, funny, personable and humorous waiter. He was present at all times and always there at the right moment - he was able to read our wishes! Please keep it up!

Maultaschen were good. Unfortunately, spaetzle and schnitzel are some of the worst I've ever had. We also ordered a portion of spaetzle from the children's menu for a two-year-old. It was so peppery that even my mouth burned and we had to replace it.

Everything was very loud and hectic. Has no flair. Too few waitresses for too many tables. Food wasn't great. Schnitzel was big but that was it. Unfortunately, tarte flambée was cold and burnt at the bottom.

Location itself is ok but unfortunately very loud. Food is way too expensive for what you get. In my opinion, the fries were in fat that was too old. The tarte flambée took on the woody flavor of the Brett and was cold from the start.

Lokation an sich ist ok aber leider sehr laut. Essen für das was man bekommt viel zu teuer. Pommes haben meines Erachtens in einem zu altem Fett gelegen. Der Flammkuchen hat den holzigen Geschmak des Be retten angenommen und war von Anfang an kalt

We ate at Schwabentroll for the first time today and it was really great. The all-you-can-eat spare ribs with fries were really tasty. Three portions were just right for two people, but we could have gotten more portions without paying more. The service from Ellen and Samuel was very friendly, they both made us laugh every now and then 😀 We will be back definitely!

We were at Schwabentroll for a family celebration at the weekend. Everything was very uncomplicated, we were allowed to sit a little apart and the lovely waitress looked after us well. The food was really tasty, we liked the rustic style of the restaurant and of course the underground car park is also very practical! ;) Ellen (our waitress) was really nice, laid back and funny and made the afternoon a relaxed and fun one. Thank you very much! Above all, I can personally recommend the homemade lemonades. Hopefully we'll get a place again when we come to the area.

Central location, good parking in the house and in the immediate vicinity. Large, well-attended restaurant. Good, attentive and fast service. Delicious food. Price acceptable. We like going there and have always been satisfied so far.

Nice atmosphere. Unfortunately we had to wait almost an hour for our food. And it wasn't even really warm and the quality was rather mediocre. It's nice to have a drink with lots of friends because it's very spacious. But I wouldn't go there for the third time because I've already been disappointed twice.
