We were there spontaneously on Saturday evening. Super nice service and boss, good, fresh, home-cooked food. Unfortunately, this is no longer a given. It certainly wasn't our last visit with you!

First impression was rather simple but nice and shady and quiet, a bit remote. But then it was just great. The landlord and everyone who works there are super nice and friendly. Because we had to wait a little longer for our food, we were given a starter plate for free and the Balkan board for three people had extra meat on it. Food was amazing, super tasty and large portions. Balkan boards and Balkan burgers are highly recommended, as are the pancakes and iced coffee. At the end there was a schnapps for everyone and a small cola for the children to toast. We will definitely come back.👍😋

Is idyllically located in the forest with beer gates. We almost turned around because we were in the middle of nowhere. It would have been a real shame. Very nice hospitality and excellent food.

Balkan Grillgarten is the best location for excellent Balkan cuisine. Zoran is very hospitable and makes everyone's wish possible. Private parties also find an open atmosphere, great service and the most important thing: flexibility when planning :) Thank you very much for your effort and work, dear Zoran. Good luck!

Very hospitable, all the food is made completely fresh, very good quality and the four-legged friends are also lovingly provided with water. The best Cevapcici and Co thanks to the loving preparation and fresh ingredients. The ambience cannot be beaten, just outside the town with parking. Everyone gets a homemade Slivovic or other spirits on the house.

Strangely, there were no other people there at a time when you would have expected them to be and there was no foam on the beer because it was probably washed with detergent. BUT: The people were very welcoming, the food was excellent and we felt very well looked after. On top of that, there were a few free treats. Would go back at any time.

We were there for the first time. The staff was understaffed because the weather was actually forecast to be bad. The very nice innkeeper had warned us that it would take longer, so it was ok. The food was delicious, absolutely okay for the price.

We ate for 36 for two. Quality of food good, quantity very poor. Pljeskavica was served on an old, unhygienic wooden board (colored from previous dishes). This can be done better! After the Balkan Grill we first went to Markt Schwaben to see the pizza man so that we were full. Anyone who praises Spezi should also serve original Spezi and not discounter junk! Beer garden very unkempt, a shame about the beautiful location.

I just ate the best cevapcici I've ever had here. The Slivovic that came with it was also brilliant. I would have liked to try the Kaiserschmarrn as well, but unfortunately I didn't have any more room. I'll probably have to try it next time😋 I'd love to come back.

Service terribly slow. We waited for an hour until someone finally asked what we wanted to drink. We waited 45 minutes for two glasses of water. The food arrived after 90 minutes. Complaints were not addressed. A pity!

This restaurant is very wonderful and they have delicious food and they have grilled meat dishes and Bosnian food similar to Turkish food and it is a quiet place similar to a tourist village. As soon as you enter the restaurant you are greeted by the warm hospitality of the team. The ambience is inviting and cozy, and the rustic decor creates a warm atmosphere. But the real treasure of the Balkan Grillgarten is hidden outdoors, in its enchanting beer garden. Here you can dine al fresco, surrounded by lush greenery and a relaxed atmosphere. The menu is extensive and includes an impressive selection of Balkan dishes, from grilled meats to delicious vegetarian options. We started our feast with a selection of starters including cevapcici, followed by a mixed platter of various grilled skewers and lamb chops. The quality of the meat was excellent and seasoned perfectly. The side dishes were fresh and tasty, and the portions were generous. The highlight of the evening, however, was the "Pljeskavica", a huge, juicy minced steak stuffed with onions and cheese - a real culinary delight! As far as the service is concerned, I can only report positive things. The head of the house is always friendly and accommodating, and his wife, the good soul of the kitchen, conjures up true taste experiences on the plates. The entire staff was attentive and always had recommendations for us. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and that nothing was missing. All in all, the Balkan Grillgarten in Markt Schwaben was a culinary adventure with a pinch of family warmth. The quality of the food, the cozy beer garden and the friendly staff make this restaurant a place that I can fully recommend. My salad was a bit salty, but that's more of a matter of taste. I've been eating foods that are low in spices and salt for many years, so personally it was too much salt for me. But the ambience was very nice, the service was very friendly and the food was also very tasty, especially the homemade bread was particularly tasty. You can also take a digestive walk. A kind of avenue offers enough space. There is a regular dance event on Tuesdays if you are looking for something to dance to.

Everything perfect! A beautiful, cozy beer garden. The food and the service were excellent. Here we still cook properly and don't rely on convenience food! I have rarely experienced such good Balkan cuisine in a restaurant. We will be back!

The restaurant is really very remote and not that inviting from the outside. You are greeted very friendly. There aren't many tables, so be sure to reserve in advance! The food is very good and the price is right too. I highly recommend it.

Our food was very tasty 😋 everything was freshly prepared and the meat was on point. The location is perfect for a little walk after dinner as it is beautifully located on the outskirts of town. A great and authentic location with excellent dishes (e.g. from the grill). I really liked the ambience inside and outside. The beer garden/outdoor area is surrounded by trees, so it offers shade and, above all, plenty of space. My meal was fantastic, simple but perfectly cooked, truly a treat. The hospitality was great, uncomplicated and very friendly. We'd love to come back!

Unfortunately we didn't like the grill plate, the rice was very mushy and didn't taste good at all, although I love it in other Balkan restaurants. The sausages and meat are also too oily and overall we have had better food elsewhere, including grilled dishes at Balkan restaurants. Also quite expensive for small portions. Top service and ambience.

Prices are ok too My friend ate turkey strips salad According to him, mine was delicious but he was still hungry afterwards.. I ordered a keiserschmarn without almonds... Well, what do I get? A keiserschmarn with almonds Very sad, you are lucky that I don't have an allergy, I just had an extremely bad stomach ache afterwards and they are still there so I find it very bitter...very bad of them... I'm disappointed and won't be coming back.

Very nice beer garden with a lot of local color. Went there spontaneously after a walk in the Schwabener Moos. Friendly and quick service, good food (Cevapcici - but for that price there could have been a side salad) and when paying (and that basically makes up for the lack of salad ;-), there was a really good Slivovitz on the house.

This small family beer garden is located in the middle of nature. We ate authentically and very tasty. If you want to enjoy your food in a place of relaxation and friendly service then you have come to the right place. Individual wishes are also happy to be fulfilled. Wir waren vor zwei Jahren mal mit einer guten Freundin dort. Leider könnten wir bis her nicht mehr hin kommen, denn ohne Auto von München nach Markt Schwaben ist eine halbe Welt Reise. Wir fanden es sehr sehr schön dort auch das Essen war richtig lecker besonders das Schnitzel. Leider habe ich gelesen, daß der Mooserwirt schließt. Deshalb wollte ich einfach noch einmal meine Bewertung hier lassen.
