Restaurant Georgenhof in Markt Schwaben

We were there yesterday. The female waiter was very friendly and tried very hard. The male waitress didn't understand German - there is a shortage of staff everywhere. But unfortunately the food was nothing. The carpaccio was thawed in the microwave until it was gray. Starters and main courses came at the same time. But unfortunately each starter came individually, so we didn't eat together. The pasta was cooked soft, the skewers were dry, the scampi wasn't peeled (intestines!), the first chicken burger was burnt black, the second one wasn't cooked through yet. All in all not recommended, unfortunately.

Once and never again... Burger buns dry and hard like cookies. Parties dry. Lamb skewer chewy and, to top it off, an extra side dish of grilled vegetables (about 2 tablespoons full) for €5.

The new operator of this restaurant is just great. The food tastes great and is so fresh and seasoned so deliciously. We had the mixed starter plate and 3 different meat dishes which were all excellent.

Giving one star for the extremely slow service. Took more than half an hour just to order. The drinks came half an hour after and the food after another half an hour. The place was not completely full, but there seems to be a lack of staff. The menu we got, was very different from the one captured in other reviews here. There were much less options, especially for vegetarians.

Bad thing The restaurant has been operating as Restaurant am Georgenhof since July 7, 2023. My wife and I tried it for dinner today, Friday. There were two guests in the garden besides us. My wife ordered the Cesar salad, I the sea bream with fried potatoes. There is only light beer and wheat beer on tap, which we found out after ordering, because the undoubtedly willing but unfamiliar waitress brought us two 0.3 bottles of Pils so we could choose a variety. Until the food came we noticed that the tables were not being wiped/cleared. Everything is just as it was left by previous guests. My wife's salad gave the visual impression that the vegetable chop from the supermarket had been swept up after work, the dressing was any kind - not the kind that comes with a Cesar salad. The fried potatoes with my fish were OK, the poor sea bream ended up in a convection oven that killed it extremely hot. Nothing more and no taste. The cook, whom the waitress called to help, stood up and explained to us that this was all the way it should be. We didn't expect anything else. It's a shame, because we could have visited our favorite Italian restaurant. We will definitely never be unfaithful to that here again.

Italian and Greek in one restaurant. There is something for every taste. And it tastes good! Over and over again.

Ugodan i intiman hotel - restaurant.

Sehr schönes Restaurant direkt am Hotel Georgenhof angeschlossen aber mit eigener Führung. Top Qualität der Produkte und Speisen. Italienische Küche. Speisekarte als Bild dabei. Sehr nettes zuvorkommendes und hilfsbereites Personal. Schneller Service. Günstige Preise. Mitnahme von Speisen möglich. Telefonische Bestellung wird gerade eingerichtet. Erst seit dem 09.09.2017 mit einem neuem engagierten Pächter neu gestartet. Separater Raum für Familienfeiern vorhanden für ca. 50 Personen. Ein Besuch ist sehr empfehlenswert.

Super lecker und frisch, gerne wieder!

Sehr gute Pizza und fantastische Pasta. Da lohnt es sich auch abzuholen anstatt einem Pizza Taxi
