The three of us ate there. It was okay, but not quite to my taste. I wouldn't go back. The service was very friendly.

The varied menu offers a great selection, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the prices are much fairer than in most comparable establishments in the region. If you celebrate here, you'll receive great support with planning decorations and customized menus. Everything just fits together!

Even during the planning phase, we felt in excellent hands. Kerstin and Shkelzen took plenty of time to listen to our wishes and contributed their own creative ideas. They both have a wonderful and warm personality; you just feel at ease. At our wedding itself, everything went smoothly. The team was very attentive and always had a smile on their faces, which created a relaxed atmosphere. The venue was beautifully decorated, exactly as we had imagined, and the organization left nothing to be desired. We can absolutely recommend Kerstin, Shkelzen, and their team. The food was good, the prices were reasonable. I had a steak with fries, but you have to order the side dish separately. My tip! Two slices of cucumber and a piece of tomato would definitely have looked better on the plate than just fries and meat.

Yes, absolutely! We did have to wait an extremely long time for drinks, food orders, and payment, but the waitresses were busy and the place was very busy! The food was delicious, the portions a bit small, but the quality was very good! As an apology, we were given a delicious coconut rum liqueur.

My mother wanted to surprise my father with a meal at the Schützenhaus in Oftersheim. The reason was that they had celebrated their wedding there 30 years ago (back then under different management). The service not only made it possible to accommodate the special occasion, but also set the table with great warmth – in the truest sense of the word. The five of us ate our way through the entire "recommendation menu" and were completely satisfied! I would just like to briefly note (and after reading some other reviews) that we were served by a very friendly server, who, according to her, had only started working two months ago. We definitely don't agree with the negative feedback about the service. A very pleasant lady. All in all, I have to say that I felt very comfortable, well served, and excellently fed. Despite the long journey, it is definitely worth another visit.

Great location, we had a very pleasant seat in the green surroundings in the perfect weather. Service was excellent, with a very personal touch. The food, especially the rump steak, was top-notch. The Schützenhazs is highly recommended!

Great food. I ordered the Argentinian rump steak with Mediterranean vegetables. Very tasty. As soon as I sat down, the friendly waitress was there and took my order. The food was there in no time! What more could you want? Beautifully located on the edge of the forest in Oftersheim, great location. Enjoyed the last rays of sunshine outside. My thanks to the boss and the staff. We were there on Saturday evening without a reservation and despite several groups we managed to get a spot. The service staff were all very courteous and attentive, we never had to wait long. It didn't take much time until the food arrived - Black Forest schnitzel with almond spaetzle and grilled pike-perch fillet with saffron sauce on a parmesan pagetti - and it tasted very good. We will definitely come back.

Went with 13 people on December 25th. there. Table ideal for 10 people, but far too cramped with 13 chairs. Only sales were seen here. There should have been at least 20 fewer people in the entire room. Unfortunately, the staff isn't really skilled either. It was claimed it was the Wiener Schnitzel. The staff should be trained here. It's not a calf. Schnitzel was incredibly bad. Cheap frozen goods. Staff refused to tell the kitchen. Unfortunately, an absolute failure. Salads were good.

Delicious food at reasonable prices

Unfortunately, the sauce was poured over my schnitzel, which was baked with ham and cheese. I don't like that at all. All the sauces looked the same. There wasn't a single peppercorn in my pepper sauce. The sauce was very powerful. I think the sauce should be extra for schnitzel and fries.

We celebrated my birthday party on November 23rd, 2024 in the Schützenhaus, and everything went great. We could also choose the table. Very friendly staff, very good cuisine and the great ambience, so everything was perfect. We would love to come back 😊

Friendly service, plenty of parking, pleasant atmosphere, sanitary facilities clean and modern. 🐕 Dogs can be taken along. Medium price range. Possibility of long walks in the Hardtwald, which borders directly to the southeast. Food is good, portions are definitely sufficient, seasoned appropriately.

So I was really in the Schützenhaus and not in the Schützenhaus's catering establishment. The Oftersheim shooting club is a friendly club with interesting people and a good shooting range. I'm currently thinking about joining the club here.

Cheapest ingredients frozen schnitzel

This was our second (and last) time eating in the restaurant. The first time it could have been a “slip”, but unfortunately it wasn’t. The meat in the dishes we ordered was very tough and the sauce tasted like almost nothing. The fries were okay, but you really can't go wrong. The wine spritzers ordered with it felt like they were 90% water, so you had to interpret the taste of the wine into that. The crowning achievement was the Averna ordered, where the glasses were filled exactly to the calibration mark. However, with ice cubes and a lemon slice, without these it wouldn't have been 2cl by any means. It's a shame about the lovely atmosphere, we definitely won't be coming back.

Super friendly staff, the food is absolutely excellent and the prices are very moderate, something you rarely experience. We had: Chef salad Bread dumplings Pork medallions Children's schnitzel Everything really really good. When we visited, the terrace was busy and the temperatures were around 30 degrees. The staff didn't notice this. Thoroughly warm and friendly. It's a shame that it's not around the corner for us.

The schnitzel will fall off as soon as you pierce the meat with a fork. The Penate is too coarse and too hard. The turkey steak tastes like nothing. The mushroom sauce had a taste. Conclusion: The first and last time.

If you want a quiet but luxurious ambience, this is the right place for you. The food was first class, the gnocci in honey pepper sauce was outstanding. The service was very friendly, professional and down to earth. But it is better to reserve a few weeks in advance as it is very unlikely that you will be able to get a table for several people in a hurry. Parking is ok, there is an upper and lower parking option.

We celebrated our confirmation with 30 people in the Schützenhaus and I can only say everything was PERFECT! The food, the service, the ambience everything was great. All of our guests felt very comfortable (aged 4-91) and especially raved about the good food. This was definitely not our last visit and I can recommend the restaurant 100%.

We were downstairs in the restaurant for an event, very nice location to celebrate. Food had 8ch schnitzel with fries was quite good. In any case, we will come back to try other dishes.

There were around 20 of us eating here during the week. The staff was very unfriendly. One even insulted a colleague by calling her (girl). 90 minutes had passed before the food was served. That was before Christmas and during the week. So there probably wasn't much to do. The food was okay, but it's not even worth going if the staff stays like this.

Liegt außerhalb des Ortes am Waldrand. Ideal um feiern. Man kann toll spazieren gehen. Gaststätte im Innenbereich sehr schön modern eingerichtet und Raum ist teilbar.So ist man im vorderen Bereich dennoch ungestört. Weiterer Raum zum feiern im unteren Bereich ,rustikal eingerichtet. Service sehr nett und aufmerksam. Essen auf den Punkt und sehr lecker.Wünsche werden erfüllt. Großer Außenbereich.Einziger Minuspunkt-schlechte Außen - Beleuchtung von Terrasse zum Parkplatz.

Werte Freunde der Geschmackswunder, euer Neviolino.....(ihr wisst was kommt, lest meine anderen Rezensionen!). Heute soll es um das Restaurant "Schützenhaus Oftersheim" gehen und vorab: Hier handelt es sich Gott sei Dank mal wieder um ein gaumenverwöhnendes und gleichzeitig stilsicheres (!) Etablissement. Kommen wir nun denn, abseits der üblichen Gedächtnisakrobatik meinerseits, zur Rezension, auf die ihr alle sicher sehnsüchtig in euren Träumen gewartet habt. Ambiente und Service: Das Schützenhaus liegt unweit der B291 kurz bevor man in die Unweiten Oftersheim eintaucht in einer ruhigen Gegend in der Nähe eines Sportschützenvereins. Warum erzähle ich euch den Schmarrn, Maps öffnen könnt ihr sicherlich selbst? Ganz einfach: Der Standort sorgt dafür, dass man hier nicht wie in anderen Verkostungsbuden, die sich Restaurant schimpfen, mitten in der Stadt parken muss. Häufig muss man in sowieso schon vollen Wohngegenden parken, die Nachbarn haben schon kein Bock mehr auf die Fremden mit anderem Kennzeichen und man selbst wundert sich auch, wo die Idylle bleibt. Das alles - hier nicht! Ausreichend Parkplätze, ruhige Gegend, wirkt naturverbunden. Marschiert man nun mit Hunger gequältem Magen zur Lokalität, fällt einem direkt das Ambiente auf. Recht schlicht, dennoch sehr schön mit Pflanzendeko ausgestattet und schöner Belichtung. Zweifelsohne glänzt das Restaurant jedoch von außen. Die Plätze innen wirken zwar auch schön, das Flair kommt im Außenbereich jedoch besser zur Geltung, weshalb ich empfehlen würde, draußen zu verweilen (Reservieren, da gut besucht!). Der Service war vorzüglich. Schnelle Bedienung, Vor- und Hauptspeise in angemessenem Abstand zueinander serviert und insgesamt top - großes Kino. Euer Neviolino wäre aber ja nicht euer Neviolino, wenn er nicht die Toiletten begutachten würden. Die Toiletten waren gemäß dem Andrang in Ordnung, jedoch war der Boden etwas nass (hoffentlich nicht das, was ich denke) und das Papier war leer. Nichtsdestotrotz lädt die Toilette dazu ein, zu verweilen und Klaustrophobie bekommt man in den Kabinen auch nicht. Ambiente: 4/5 Sterne Service: 5/5 Sterne Der Service verdient zweifelsohne die 5 Sterne. Das Ambiente war zwar sehr passend und rundum gelungen, vom Stuhl geschoben hat es mich aber im wahrsten Sinne des Worten nicht, auch wenn alles sehr bequem und die Musik gut abgestimmt war. Sehr schönes Ambiente (vor allem im Außenbereich) und in ruhiger Lage. Speisen: Die Vorspeisen waren wirklich sehr gut. Sowohl geschmacklich als auch die Menge war angemessen. Klar, preislich nicht ganz günstig, aber absolut in Ordnung, geschmacklich wirklich sehr lecker und hat Lust auf mehr gemacht. Die Beilagensalate hingegen fand ich recht Standard. Nichts herausragend positives, aber auch nichts negatives - ist im Vergleich zu den anderen Vorspeisen aber eher im Hinterstübchen. Die Hauptgänge waren auch gut. Für mich nicht sehr gut, da hat etwas gefehlt, was den ausschlaggebenden Punkt gegeben hätte, aber wirklich gut und auch deutlich besser als viele andere "Restaurants", die eher mit Schulkantinen oder schlechten Bistros vergleichbar wären (Stichwort Servierwagen). Das Fleisch war sehr lecker, vor allem die Bratwurst. Die Schnitzel waren oberes Mittelmaß. Die Beilagen waren in Summe auch gut, ein kleiner Wermutstropfen waren jedoch die scheinbar nicht frisch hergestellten Spätzle. Die Spätzle waren zweifelsohne gut gemacht und lecker, frische wären jedoch noch besser gewesen. Die Nudeln waren auch sehr lecker, wirklich alles gut gemacht und vor allem hatte man das Gefühl, dass das Küchenteam versteht, was es da treibt. Die Portionen waren ordentlich, hätten bestimmt auch etwas größer sein können, aber in Kombination mit der Vorspeise sättigend. 4/5 Sterne Preise: Bei Hauptspeisen angemessen, Vorspeisen könnten etwas günstiger sein. Preise der Speisekarte im Internet stimmen jedoch nicht mit der vor Ort überein, bitte anpassen. Summa Summarum: Das Restaurant bekommt von mir in Summe wohl verdiente 13/15 Sterne und ist daher eine Empfehlung wert! Herzliche Grüße Euer Neviolino

Jeden ersten Mittwoch im Monat bietet Familie Schala ein besonderes Event. Chris Lindner mit seiner Band spielt life auf. Einfach Spitze. Meist mit einem "special guest" welcher das Event noch toppt. Zudem bietet Familie Schala eine ausgesuchte Speisekarte an.
