We had the grilled platter for two today. Absolutely delicious. Huge portion and very tasty. Highly recommended!

A pub for academics. Anyone looking to converse at the highest academic level with doctors, journalists, and lawyers has come to the right place. Furthermore, the selection of hop-based brews is remarkable.

We, a couple, were there for breakfast. They now offer a buffet, but we opted for à la carte. The menu is a loose collection of sheets on a clipboard, which doesn't hold very well. It took almost 10 minutes before our order was taken. The coffee arrived quite quickly, but the breakfast itself didn't arrive for about 25 minutes. The quality of the cheese, cold cuts, and jam was acceptable. The rolls were fresh from the bakery. One scrambled egg was a lovely yellow and fluffy with chives sprinkled on top. The second one seemed to have been forgotten in the pan. It was dark to very dark and without any chives. Since the server (who was generally very friendly) never reappeared, we couldn't order another coffee. Like other guests, we paid ourselves at the till. I noticed that the upholstery on some of the chairs was torn and hanging off underneath.

A classic kebab shop with exceptional food. It's very good. The staff is also extremely friendly. The baklava is highly recommended.
