Schulzi in Heidelberg

We only stopped here because our hotel was nearby. We've never had such bad pizza. *Octupussi* Without cheese. The menu said olives and garlic. Unfortunately these were missing. The tomato sauce has no taste, the base is hard. The second pizza* salami* was only better because the salami was seasoned. The ambience - not nice! There is an unpleasant smell of urine. The chairs are uncomfortable, the ceilings were probably forgotten after the renovation and were not plastered. It's supposed to represent an old ambience of a pizzeria but it didn't work! Complaint about the pizza was only regretted, nothing else was offered! The service was nice and quick. Certainly student help. There are definitely no Italians cooking here. The name Schulzi makes you curious, but that's all.

There were 10 of us and the store was pretty empty. We had to wait over an hour for 8 pizzas and 2 salads. Both parties with salad immediately developed a gastrointestinal illness. There was no soap in the women's toilet and not even a soap dispenser in the men's room. I've never eaten so badly.

Always happy to eat Italian here - delicious and cheap. Nicely decorated, young crowd, only short waiting times for food. And really inexpensive. Parking on the street is problematic, but the Nordbrückenkopf parking garage is fine. Tram stop around the corner.

Pasta unfortunately tasteless... Pizza tastes okay but too dry.

After a long wait, I asked if I could place an order. A young lady rejected my order because they were busy. You weren't even asked what you ordered or offered a small dish/drink. Very bad service!

The staff is friendly but also inattentive. The chefs are not Italian, but the pizzas taste quite good. The sanitary facilities are relatively unclean. You can see and smell a lot of urine everywhere. Overall, the ambience is not used style but, if you look at it soberly, simply used. Overall impression ok, but wouldn't necessarily come back.

Great pizza (Margarita), great pasta dishes ("Schulzi wants Meer", I thought it was a pizza, but it was a very fine pasta dish) and all of this surrounded by very friendly service and a great ambience with the open window facing the street. .. And the drinks were excellent too! Direct hit!

Unfortunately, expectations were not met: We had to wait a long time because the pizza was already cold. It would be nice to be informed when the pizza to go is ready or how things are going in the store. What a shame! Unfortunately we stood in the shop for a long time and were noticed but not spoken to (even though the pizza was already ready). And then part of the order was forgotten :( But the cashier was at least very nice - what a mouse. PS: sexy mustache

A great pizza. It's great that you sit right next to the oven. But I wouldn't recommend this on hot days! :D No, really a great restaurant. It wasn't my last visit. Some people don’t like this “misshapen pizza”. But I think she's great. It also tasted very good.

Good food, nice cozy atmosphere

Your pizza and salads are great! And we will definitely come back. With children it is really practical to sit at your cozy windowsill. Yesterday there was a lot going on at the castle lighting and it's understandable that not every order gets through. Next time I would like to have a larger selection of non-alcoholic drinks that I can also enjoy as a pregnant woman ;))

Ich bin bisher gerne gekommen, das Essen war toll und der Service großartig. Beim letzten Mal allerdings gab es trotz ca. 4 jungen Servicekräften bei leerem Restaurant ( gg. 17:00) nahezu gar keinen Service. Wir haben ca. 40 Minuten auf Getränke gewartet ( mit Erinnerung), Bestellung wurde nicht erinnert, dann kamen nach ca. 1,5 Stunden innerhalb von 10 Minuten zwei Mal exakt die selben falschen Pizzen ( gebracht von unterschiedlichen Servicekräften).. Die weitere ( in der Hoffung aus Lernen aus Fehlern) Getränkebestellung wurde dann auch direkt mit Verlassen des Tisches erstmal vergessen.. Da wir drinnen saßen waren wir auch nicht außerhalb des Blickfeldes, sondern haben mitbekommen, dass man sich untereinander gut unterhalten hat und kein Interesse am weiteren Geschehen hatte. Fazit: Pizza gut, aber solange der Service nicht weiß was er eigentlich tun sollte kann man dort nicht länger hingehen. Schade.

On crowded days, it can take up to an hour for a pizza to arrive. The service is friendly and it has a nice atmosphere with dim lighting.

Atmosphäre sprach uns an sich an. Doch wir wurden von den Studenten-Angestellten erst oft ignoriert, bevor uns ein Tisch zugewiesen wurde. Dann mussten wir nochmal länger warten, bis wir nach Essen und Getränken gefragt wurden. Das ließ dann mindestens eine halbe Stunde auf sich warten (Getränke und Pizzen). Drei Mal gesagt, dass die Pizza ohne Käse kommen soll… sie kam mit Käse. Und eine andere völlig verbrannt, schwarz von unten und an den Seiten (das sollten wir einfach „abkratzen“… ging natürlich nur mühsam). Zweiter Versuch, nochmal kam sie mit Käse… den wir dann auch einfach runterkratzen sollten… Überhaupt nicht zu empfehlen. Ein Freund und zwei Bekannte hatten ähnliche Erfahrungen, besonders bei der langen Wartezeit und dem unfreundlichen, unzuverlässigen Service.

Very cute pizza place 🍕 I loved the atmosphere and the vibe of the restaurant! 😘 The staff was super kind and helpful with choosing the food! If you’re coming on Friday/Saturday/Sunday I’d definitely recommend you to book a table in advance! 🤝🏼 The pizza arrived super fast 💘 and it was very delicious!! Especially loved the salami 🍕😍 We also tried the home made lemonade which was very good aswell 🫶🏼 Overall I was very satisfied with my experience and I don’t have anything to complain about 🤗🤗 Definitely make sure to step by! 💓

Der Abend fing gut an, als die Getränke kamen. Das Essen war leider eine Enttäuschung. Pasta mit Chorizo und Salsica mit Fenchel war leider nicht gut. die Nudeln schwammen im Öl, es war eine Art Suppe. Nach der Reklamation wurde der Teller einfach abgeräumt und ohne zu fragen, ob man eine Alternative anbieten könnte. Auf der Rechnung war die im Öl triefende Pasta selbstverständlich drauf. Man erwartet schon wenigstens eine Rückmeldung.

Unfortunately a big disappointment, apart from the friendly service, no good and carelessly prepared food. The dough on our pizzas was dry and the toppings weren't very tasty; the vegetarian pizza, for example, consisted largely of vegetable puree instead of real vegetable pieces. We also had the impression that no real or inferior cheese was used. The appetizer plates were okay in terms of taste, but the amount of vegetables, especially with the vegetarian ones, was very manageable... and at very reasonable prices!

I used to be a big fan of the restaurant, but unfortunately the visit is no longer justifiable for me thanks to the outrageous pricing policy. Just as an example: the Parma Protz pizza has increased from €14.5 to €17.5 within 2 years; While the price itself is extortionate for a pizza in Heidelberg, the increase cannot be justified by the often-presumed inflation or taxes. Other restaurants, despite expensive ingredients/quantities, increased less or were creative in offsetting the VAT withdrawal, for example by offering a discount for cash payments or discontinuing card payments. It's a shame, I'm happy to ignore the operational problems because of the nice service, but not the pricing anymore.

I returned after having eaten excellent pizza this summer, almost like in Italy. It was a total disappointment. I took a the day after tomorrow. Small pizza, poorly seasoned, dry and hard dough. I only ate it because I was hungry. They would do better to remove the word pizzeria, because that wasn't a pizza. Never again. It's a shame, because the service is very good and the place is also very nice.

The pizza was outstanding! Both the ambience and the service were great. I will definitely come back and recommend it!

Service made a lot of effort. They're just inexperienced. The food (pizza) was once very tasty, unfortunately this time you had to look for the chorizos and a date was simply added upon request even though it was part of the meal.

I recommend do not try the day after tomorrow, you are also forced to give tips.

We were looking for a new pizzeria in Heidelberg and came across Schulzi. Mainly because the homepage advertises Neapolitan pizza. The pizzas themselves are a little more unusual, which is partly what the name suggests. The prices of the pizzas are a little on the high side. We ended up ordering "Magnums IP" and "Speckenwolf", which is basically a pizza with pineapple (no further discussion here ;-)) and a pizza with bacon, mushrooms, tomato, mozzarella and red onions. We had ordered to pick up. Both pizzas were very sparsely topped. In addition, the crust was very, very hard and had nothing to do with the advertised Neapolitan pizza. Which is a great pity. I know that this pizzeria uses good Caputo flour (the red one), with which you can make really great pizzas. But apparently this is not the case here. Conclusion: very good ingredients are used to make a bad pizza. The price-performance ratio is not right.

Been there a few times and so far satisfied. Ultimately, however, I was presented with a lasagna that was completely inedible in every respect. What you could eat was very dry and almost tasteless, just tasted like dough. And the base was the crowning glory: we thought it might be baking paper, but it was just very hard dough that you couldn't get through with a knife (see picture). I don't know how this "dish" came about, but maybe you don't want to know. Any 5-minute tarine lasagne etc. beats this one by far! By the way, the salad was also bland, limp and tasteless but good. When I politely reported back, it was signaled to me that the chef doesn't like it when you criticize the food, hmm. I don't know exactly what's happened since the last time, but for me never again Schulzi to eat.

Wonderful Pizza at this beautiful restaurant! The food was delicious and I could imagine this place in Italy. Good Service as well.

Leckere Pizza, leckerer Salat und freundliche schnelle Bedienung innschönem Ambiente innNähe des Zentrums und der Neckarwiese. Was will man mehr!

Das Restaurant liegt in einer süßen Gasse und hat ein nettes Ambiente. Von der Pizza waren wir leider nicht wirklich überzeugt. Der Boden war lecker, aber der Belag hat uns nicht umgehauen (leider!). Popeye Olive und Pizza Salami empfehlen wir daher nicht. Der Service war ok.

Ohne Reservierung wird man an kleine Tische (völlig ok) im totalen Durchzug gesetzt. Aufrede Karte wird als Pizzabelag Kräutersaiblinge angegeben, auf der Pizza liegen dann aber massig Dosenchampignons. Hauptsache billig und lässt auch Zweifel am Rest der Zutaten.

Alles Tip Top! Ich empfehle die Alles andere ist Käse mit extra Chorizo. Der Knaller - und sehr bekömmlich :-)

Pizza zum Vergessen. Die komische Salami passt nicht zur Salami Pizza. Der klumpige Käse passt nicht zur Quattro Formaggi. Bei aller Liebe, aber da fehlt mir die Liebe zu sehr.

Wunderschönes Restaurant. Das essen war der Hammer, der Service war schnell und super freundlich. Und auch im Sommer ist es schön drinnen zuspitzen da für gute Temperaturen gesorgt wird. Es hat ein entspanntes Ambiente und ich kann es jedem empfehlen.

That's my favorite pizza in Heidelberg. Think crust full of flavor and crispy. The staff is very friendly as well. I love their spicy pizzas and my daughter loves their pesto.

Gutes Essen, preislich voll im Rahmen.

In den Nebenstraßen Neuenheims findet man zwischen Feigenbäumen und alter Baukunst gelegen Schulzis warmherzige Pizzeria. Begleitet von zwei alten Freunden bewerten wir unseren heutigen Besuch als nahrhaft und sättigend.

Die Pizza war wirklich sehr lecker. Weniger begeistert war ich allerdings vom Beilagensalat, der völlig durchtrieft in Jogurthdressing ankam. Ich konnte ihn leider kaum essen. Ansonsten aber sehr nette Kellner und tolle Lage! Die offene Küche gefällt mir besonders gut🙂

Ich war heute (Montag) da. Die Türen waren groß auf, eine gute Stimmung herrschte. Der Primitivo war wirklich lecker! Trocken aber nicht zu schwer. Die Pizza Hellboy war auf dem Punkt. Ordentlich spicy. Es gibt auch eine super Aperitif-Karte. Der Service ist super nett, offen und aufmerksam. Ich denke nur, dass die Terrasse etwas ausgebaut werden könnte mit passenderen Möbeln. Wenn ich nochmal in Heidelberg bin, komme ich direkt wieder.

We were looking for somewhere cozy and romantic for my husbands birthday and we stumbled upon this local restaurant near to our hotel. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and helped us with the menu due to us not speaking German .. Food was excellent .we had a sharing board then 2 stunning pizzas with fresh ingredients .we didn’t feel rushed and enjoyed a great evening sampling the local house red wine and local German beer .. it was such a nice change to be in a more local rustic setting ..we had a memorable night

Sehr schöner Laden. Mussten recht lange (circa 30 Minuten) auf das Essen warten, obwohl nicht viele Gäste da waren. Pizza war gut, aber auch nicht besonders.
