Schöll’s Hähnchen und Haxengrill e. K. in Freystadt

I bought half a chicken in Hilpoltstein on November 26, 2022. I'll never order it again. The seller was grumpy and almost impossible to understand. It cost €5.50 and was bone dry. The taste was also a bit strange.

This was the second time we had Schöll's rolled roast chicken for a special birthday. And what can I say? This time, too, both the meat and the dumplings/potato salad were extremely delicious. I highly recommend it to everyone. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you for the delicious food. We'd be happy to come back anytime...

The appearance? The car is dirty. Cooking grease is dripping from the roof down the sides. The chicken truck, whose lettering is already peeling off, gets its power from a noisy generator. All in all, the whole place seems very unhygienic. The website even states that the cars are cleaned daily. That's definitely not true! The salesman? The younger of the two salesmen is incredibly unfriendly. Even if you greet someone politely, you're initially ignored while he calmly hangs up your chickens. This can sometimes take five minutes. When he does turn around, there's no "hello"—at most a "what's up?" No thanks, no please. The food? The chicken tastes awful. The skin isn't crispy, the chicken is dry throughout, and overall, poorly seasoned. No wonder no one ever lines up to buy anything here. I've been there twice and will definitely avoid buying anything there again.

I was at the stand in front of Norma on February 19th at 2:20 p.m. in Burgfarrnbach. The Schäuferli and Haxn weren't ready, and the Giggerla tasted awful. It's been better! The young salesperson was very unfriendly, and this wasn't the first time! I don't need any more of that!

Unfortunately, you can't believe the sales driver's statement because he sells a lukewarm, dried-out chicken as hot and freshly sliced. I don't want to have it again.......
