Alfons Hauf in Freystadt

A very cozy Bavarian beer garden. It's lovely to sit outside under a chestnut tree. We ate a snack platter and a sausage salad - both excellent, as they still do their own slaughtering here. We would definitely like to come back. .

Very tasty seasonal food, beautiful rooms and beer garden and very friendly staff.

Village inn, menu ordinary, parking in the yard and along the street, really nothing special.

I've been there at least 10 times and have always had very good food and service. Price/performance fits.

I bought half a chicken in Hilpoltstein on November 26th, 2022, never again, the seller was grumpy and almost incomprehensible. Price €5.50 and bone dry, the taste was also a bit strange.
