The first time, we stumbled upon the Schnitzelkaiser by chance, and it was simply delicious. Today we went again, and it was simply fantastic again. Super friendly service, delicious food, and every special request from our child was fulfilled. When we're back in Zingst, we'll definitely be back!

The welcome was poor: For the first few minutes, I was simply ignored, and then I was rudely seated. The varnish on the table was peeling, and everything wasn't exactly clean. The food came quickly, but the fried potatoes and fries were cold and soggy. The place looks like anything but a restaurant, and the entrance looks like a back entrance. That was definitely the first and last time!

We had reserved a table because it was very busy last year. We were very pleasantly surprised and completely delighted yesterday. Friendly service, who had everything under control. She even immediately needed a bowl of fresh water for our two dogs. We got our drinks quickly, and so did the food. It was delicious and plentiful. My husband is a big eater, but he only managed half of the fried potatoes. He had an XL onion schnitzel, and I had a regular-sized schnitzel with salad, which was also very plentiful and delicious. Thank you very much, we'll be happy to come back.

Unfortunately, not recommended! The owners should urgently revise their cleaning policy, if they have one – and the sanitary facilities definitely can't stay the same!!! The food – well, the fried potatoes were reheated, perhaps burnt from the day before – was inedible, greasy, and inedible. The decorative orange was dried out, the frozen vegetables only had the stalk, and now for something positive!!! The schnitzel was well cooked and enjoyable. The staff was friendly. In conclusion, the location is great...but we won't be back.

Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. I ordered takeout and discovered when I got home that it was the wrong dish. Instead of offering compensation, they only brought me new fries when I asked for them, and I received the already old and cold food. This shouldn't be customer service – mistakes can happen, but how you handle them makes all the difference.

You can sit inside or on the terrace; it's very comfortable, the portions are very generous (luckily we ordered a regular portion). Friendly staff, very good value for money, and above all, IT WAS DELICIOUS.

We were here on vacation and the food was really great, absolutely delicious, and the staff was great. The price/performance ratio was more than acceptable. However, the concept and opening hours, including breakfast, are completely crazy and confusing. It's hard to understand what they're trying to do. And the fact that the chefs and staff sit outside on the street and smoke during their breaks isn't exactly nice. Of course they're supposed to take a break, but please not like that.

The schnitzels were good, except for one of the four that was a bit stringy. When we pointed this out, we were kindly compensated. The staff was friendly, and booking a table wasn't a problem. The only thing I found very odd when I looked into the kitchen was seeing an employee opening the frozen food bag with his teeth instead of scissors.

We stopped by today on a whim and were completely satisfied. The food arrived quickly, which is always important with kids. The service was incredibly friendly. The two of us went there for dinner and were looking forward to a delicious schnitzel. We each ordered an XL schnitzel with fries instead of hash browns and a bit of mayo. The waiter asked again if he had noted everything correctly, which we confirmed. However, we each received a mini schnitzel without mayo and not the promised 400g schnitzel. There was no sign of the waiter, so we waited, and it took a long time before he appeared again. He came to me with a few fries in his mouth and asked what he could do for us. I pointed out to him that we had each ordered an XL schnitzel, whereupon he left and went to get his boss. Apparently, he booked it incorrectly... After a short while, we received the "leftover," but the mayo was still missing. When asked if he remembered, he said yes and brought a small portion. Not two as ordered. But we didn't want to call again and just accepted it. Not recommended as the food is rather below average.

We went out to eat as a family of seven. First of all, I'd like to say that everyone enjoyed the food, and the portions were very generous. The waitress was in a bad mood from the start. We had to pay an extra fee for a side dish change (fries instead of fried potatoes). We also asked for a second plate for the children, which we were also charged for. We haven't experienced this in other restaurants. We also ordered a regular portion of creamed schnitzel and were mistakenly served an XL schnitzel. We had to pay for this despite notifying them that the order was incorrect. It's a shame about the poor service. Given the circumstances, this was definitely our first and last visit to this restaurant.

We went there for dinner on a Tuesday, and that was probably our last visit. The ambiance was more like a high-quality snack bar. Service and friendliness were mediocre. I had a salad plate with chicken breast fillets, which were unfortunately too dry and tough. Otherwise, cheap iceberg lettuce with peppers, tomatoes, and onions (all rather tasteless) with ready-made dressing. My mother-in-law had herring with fried potatoes and remoulade...unfortunately, she started throwing up after two hours and also had abdominal pain and diarrhea. This may not be related, but I don't want to leave it unmentioned in light of my visit and the impressions I gathered.

We wanted to have lunch there for "schnitzel day." We were neither greeted nor even noticed. The tables and windowsills were anything but clean. There were even cobwebs on the tables, and quite a few of them. I can't say anything about the food because we left after 15 minutes.

We were there on a Thursday (schnitzel day). It was quite busy, but we waited less than 10 minutes for drinks and less than 30 minutes for the food, which was delicious. If we're ever back in Zingst, we'll definitely be back. 5 stars for the food. The one thing that's a little lacking is some background music, but otherwise, it's great.

They only offer a sweet option with two rolls, butter, nougat spread, and jam. Or a savory option with a wheat roll, a wholemeal roll, butter, two slices of plain Gouda cheese, a slice of salami, and a slice of Jagdwurst sausage. It would be nice if there were alternatives, such as ham or scrambled eggs or something similar. The price/performance ratio was okay. The selection of hot drinks was good.

Unfortunately, the food is very poorly prepared, and the price is too high for what you get, compared to the surrounding restaurants. The outdoor area could also be more attractively designed. You have to help yourself to cutlery and napkins from a small wooden box. When paying, the waitress assumed we were leaving a tip and almost forgot to give us the change. We only received it after we asked for it. An unpleasant situation. All in all, we wouldn't visit this restaurant again.

Relatively large menu. There's something for everyone. Special offer day for fish and schnitzel. The food is simple. Frozen goods (at least the schnitzels). Garnishes like in the GDR days :) But you can sit nicely on the dike.

Good, plentiful food at great prices. We were there on Monday and took advantage of "Schnitzel Day." On this day, there's a 20% discount on all schnitzel dishes. Schnitzel is available in 200, 400, and 600-gram portions—the 600-gram portion is particularly generous. Paired with fried potatoes and a salad as a side dish, it's a high-quality lunch at a great price. The meat was tender, and the fried potatoes with bacon were delicious. Highly recommended—especially for those with a big appetite. Only the outdoor furniture, which is mostly made of plastic, feels a bit "cheap."

We went there last night with 8 people for dinner, having pre-ordered. We had to wait forever for our drinks to arrive. It also took a while for them to arrive. Normally, the food order is taken then...unfortunately, that's when it wasn't. It took a while again. The appetizers arrived in a good amount of time, but the main courses took so long that we asked about it. Now for the food. The appetizers were only lukewarm but okay...no more than that, unfortunately. The main courses looked okay. Overall, the food was very bad. Broccoli was just a stalk. The chicken burger was tough as hell. The seasoned meat was unfortunately not good. The fries were bone-dry. Etc. The real shocker was that the main course arrived and the appetizer plates were only half cleared...I sorted that out myself. We've had a good meal there every year at the end of our vacation, but this year it was absolutely garbage. They then gave us a discount on the price, but of course that doesn't change anything about that... evening.

So, we can't agree with the negative reviews. We were there on Monday (20% off) for all the schnitzels during the summer holidays and had our drinks in about 5 minutes, and our meal (3 schnitzels) arrived in about 30 minutes. AND I have to say, ALL the tables were occupied. The food was great and the portions were more than sufficient.

We were there yesterday... the restaurant was very busy, and with a bit of luck, we managed to get a table for two. It's a very cozy atmosphere, the food is incredibly delicious, freshly prepared, and the portions are huge... the food is definitely cooked with love. We were also impressed by the service. As a thank you, we even got two "Verdauer" (alcoholic drinks) and returned the favor with Hungarian beer. 🥰 We will recommend it and will definitely come back.

Four of us had breakfast here today. It's a good thing the sausage and the bit of cheese were taken out of the packaging. I've never had such a lousy breakfast before. The staff were also overcharged. The price for two glasses of sparkling wine was as high as if we had drunk champagne. We can't recommend the breakfast or anything else.

The schnitzel with fries was good, and the liver with mashed potatoes was even better. The service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere was like a snack bar, but that's not meant to be derogatory. We've been there several times on vacation and were satisfied.

We ordered takeaway food here. We received our food right on time. From ordering to pickup, the friendly staff handled everything without any issues. The food was delicious, well-seasoned, and fresh. We would order from here again.

Our visit was a complete disaster. We wanted to have lunch there. The place was completely empty, the floor dirty, and the staff were busy serving lunch in the dining room. After they hesitantly brought our menus to our table, nothing else happened. I can't comment on the food, as we never even ordered. We left the place after about 20 minutes; no one there was interested in that either. I wouldn't recommend it.
