We received a warm welcome, and the staff was generally very friendly. We didn't have to wait long for the food, and it was delicious. The prices are reasonable. I really can't complain. It was a great end to our Baltic Sea vacation.

The schnitzels were good, except for one of the four that was a bit stringy. When we pointed this out, we were kindly compensated. The staff was friendly, and booking a table wasn't a problem. The only thing I found very odd when I looked into the kitchen was seeing an employee opening the frozen food bag with his teeth instead of scissors.

Super friendly, and the food was freshly prepared and delicious. I'd love to come back.

We stopped by today on a whim and were completely satisfied. The food arrived quickly, which is always important with kids. The service was incredibly friendly. Our schnitzel and burgers were amazing. Perhaps they could consider adding a smaller burger to the menu for the kids. But we were really satisfied.👍🏻

The two of us went there for dinner and were looking forward to a delicious schnitzel. We each ordered an XL schnitzel with fries instead of hash browns and a bit of mayo. The waiter asked again if he had noted everything correctly, which we confirmed. However, we each received a mini schnitzel without mayo and not the promised 400g schnitzel. There was no sign of the waiter, so we waited, and it took a long time before he appeared again. He came to me with a few fries in his mouth and asked what he could do for us. I pointed out to him that we had each ordered an XL schnitzel, whereupon he left and went to get his boss. Apparently, he booked it incorrectly... After a short while, we received the "leftover," but the mayo was still missing. When asked if he remembered, he said yes and brought a small portion. Not two as ordered. But we didn't want to call again and just accepted it. Not recommended as the food is rather below average.

We went there for dinner on a Tuesday, and that was probably our last visit. The ambiance was more like a high-quality snack bar. Service and friendliness were mediocre. I had a salad plate with chicken breast fillets, which were unfortunately too dry and tough. Otherwise, cheap iceberg lettuce with peppers, tomatoes, and onions (all rather tasteless) with ready-made dressing. My mother-in-law had herring with fried potatoes and remoulade...unfortunately, she started throwing up after two hours and also had abdominal pain and diarrhea. This may not be related, but I don't want to leave it unmentioned in light of my visit and the impressions I gathered.

We went out to eat as a family of seven. First of all, I'd like to say that everyone enjoyed the food, and the portions were very generous. The waitress was in a bad mood from the start. We had to pay an extra fee for a side dish change (fries instead of fried potatoes). We also asked for a second plate for the children, which we were also charged for. We haven't experienced this in other restaurants. We also ordered a regular portion of creamed schnitzel and were mistakenly served an XL schnitzel. We had to pay for this despite notifying them that the order was incorrect. It's a shame about the poor service. Given the circumstances, this was definitely our first and last visit to this restaurant.

We were there on a Thursday (schnitzel day). It was quite busy, but we waited less than 10 minutes for drinks and less than 30 minutes for the food, which was delicious. If we're ever back in Zingst, we'll definitely be back. 5 stars for the food. The one thing that's a little lacking is some background music, but otherwise, it's great.

We wanted to have lunch there for "schnitzel day." We were neither greeted nor even noticed. The tables and windowsills were anything but clean. There were even cobwebs on the tables, and quite a few of them. I can't say anything about the food because we left after 15 minutes.

We had breakfast there and received very friendly and prompt service (we were also the only ones there). The breakfast was relatively simple. They only offer a sweet option with two rolls, butter, nougat spread, and jam. Or a savory option with a wheat roll, a wholemeal roll, butter, two slices of plain Gouda cheese, a slice of salami, and a slice of Jagdwurst sausage. It would be nice if there were alternatives, such as ham or scrambled eggs or something similar. The price/performance ratio was okay. The selection of hot drinks was good.

We sat outside, relaxed and comfortable, and had a 200g schnitzel and a 400g schnitzel. From ordering to eating, it was a truly entertaining experience. The schnitzel was very well prepared and extremely tasty, truly handmade! It's worth a visit; the selection is plentiful.

Unfortunately, the food is very poorly prepared, and the price is too high for what you get, compared to the surrounding restaurants. The outdoor area could also be more attractively designed. You have to help yourself to cutlery and napkins from a small wooden box. When paying, the waitress assumed we were leaving a tip and almost forgot to give us the change. We only received it after we asked for it. An unpleasant situation. All in all, we wouldn't visit this restaurant again.

Relatively large menu. There's something for everyone. Special offer day for fish and schnitzel. The food is simple. Frozen goods (at least the schnitzels). Garnishes like in the GDR days :) But you can sit nicely on the dike.

Good, plentiful food at great prices. We were there on Monday and took advantage of "Schnitzel Day." On this day, there's a 20% discount on all schnitzel dishes. Schnitzel is available in 200, 400, and 600-gram portions—the 600-gram portion is particularly generous. Paired with fried potatoes and a salad as a side dish, it's a high-quality lunch at a great price. The meat was tender, and the fried potatoes with bacon were delicious. Highly recommended—especially for those with a big appetite. Only the outdoor furniture, which is mostly made of plastic, feels a bit "cheap."

So, we can't agree with the negative reviews. We were there on Monday (20% off) for all the schnitzels during the summer holidays and had our drinks in about 5 minutes, and our meal (3 schnitzels) arrived in about 30 minutes. AND I have to say, ALL the tables were occupied. The food was great and the portions were more than sufficient.

We went there last night with 8 people for dinner, having pre-ordered. We had to wait forever for our drinks to arrive. It also took a while for them to arrive. Normally, the food order is taken then...unfortunately, that's when it wasn't. It took a while again. The appetizers arrived in a good amount of time, but the main courses took so long that we asked about it. Now for the food. The appetizers were only lukewarm but okay...no more than that, unfortunately. The main courses looked okay. Overall, the food was very bad. Broccoli was just a stalk. The chicken burger was tough as hell. The seasoned meat was unfortunately not good. The fries were bone-dry. Etc. The real shocker was that the main course arrived and the appetizer plates were only half cleared...I sorted that out myself. We've had a good meal there every year at the end of our vacation, but this year it was absolutely garbage. They then gave us a discount on the price, but of course that doesn't change anything about that... evening.

We were there yesterday... the restaurant was very busy, and with a bit of luck, we managed to get a table for two. It's a very cozy atmosphere, the food is incredibly delicious, freshly prepared, and the portions are huge... the food is definitely cooked with love. We were also impressed by the service. As a thank you, we even got two "Verdauer" (alcoholic drinks) and returned the favor with Hungarian beer. 🥰 We will recommend it and will definitely come back.

Four of us had breakfast here today. It's a good thing the sausage and the bit of cheese were taken out of the packaging. I've never had such a lousy breakfast before. The staff were also overcharged. The price for two glasses of sparkling wine was as high as if we had drunk champagne. We can't recommend the breakfast or anything else.

The Schnitzel Kaiser is a place to eat where you can't go wrong, but you shouldn't expect anything more than a beer garden atmosphere.

The food was okay. There were nine of us there, and almost everyone ordered schnitzels. They were okay. Unfortunately, you have to be very careful when paying! Unfortunately, we only realized a day later that we had paid for 11 portions instead of our usual nine!

The schnitzel with fries was good, and the liver with mashed potatoes was even better. The service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere was like a snack bar, but that's not meant to be derogatory. We've been there several times on vacation and were satisfied.

Our visit was a complete disaster. We wanted to have lunch there. The place was completely empty, the floor dirty, and the staff were busy serving lunch in the dining room. After they hesitantly brought our menus to our table, nothing else happened. I can't comment on the food, as we never even ordered. We left the place after about 20 minutes; no one there was interested in that either. I wouldn't recommend it.

The boss should perhaps consider supporting his team or getting involved himself... many guests left because the only waitress was completely overwhelmed with everything... as long as this continues, I will unfortunately no longer visit the Schnitzelkaiser, even though the food was always delicious... I can't rate the food because we couldn't place an order. We waited 20 minutes for the menu, and after another 25 minutes, we left without seeing the waitress. Surely the waitress was alone, but then you can be honest and let us know. We're at the Greek restaurant now and already have our salad and drinks within 20 minutes.

If you like schnitzel, this is a must.

There is a strong smell of freshener coming from the toilet. I would avoid tables in front of the toilet. Ambience looks carelessly furnished. Cables are still visible. You can eat but nothing special. A better disguised snack bar, you could say.

Service was nice and tried hard, that's why the two stars. I had herring (you can't go wrong with it if you buy good ones), nicely presented, but tartar sauce from the packet, fried potatoes drowned in oil. My wife had a fish burger (frozen fried fish pretty darkly fried in burger bread). The fries were quite limp and unseasoned and also had ketchup from the no-name segment. When I knocked over my water glass and asked for a rag and bucket, the staff initially seemed helpless. After I had cleaned up the mishap on and under the table, the cloth was black... Last but not least, a regular guest came in who insulted the staff, ordered his food, and then wanted to start strange discussions with the guests sitting around. Very interesting evening 😐

Unfortunately, despite the opening on the homepage, we found ourselves standing in front of a locked door and no information on the phone. The building is open daily from 12 p.m. At the door only from April 12th. Of course it's not high season yet, but an addition that the opening times are different during a certain period would be nice and not so frustrating for holidaymakers.

We wanted to have dinner there this evening. The restaurant was “closed” when we entered...”there was nothing going on all day today...” Too bad!!!

We got a table spontaneously. It's best to make a reservation. Very friendly and the food was also fresh and tasty.

We were really very happy with the Schnitzelkaiser. Great service. Friendly, accommodating. Food very tasty, large portions. We rolled home more than walked. Dogs are allowed and welcome. Everything is possible for small children. The ambience is okay, it's just a normal restaurant, not a 5 star shop. But everything is clean and tidy.

Large portions, very tasty. Unfortunately the ambience doesn't really suit my taste. Very simply furnished, artificial flowers and a few cobwebs on the wall lamps, no light came on in the toilet.

In May '24 we went to the Schnitzelkaiser unannounced for the Schnitzel Day offer with 8 people. Unfortunately everything was full at 6 p.m., but the nice waiter reserved a table for us at 6:45 p.m. Accordingly, a walk on the beach was still possible. The food was very tasty and a lot! My husband almost overextended himself with an XL schnitzel. 😄 Very nice service, food really tasty! We'll be back tomorrow and we're excited to see if it's still as good! ☺️

We were there for the second time now. (We promised it on the first visit) This time I took the liver and was initially shocked by the amount on the plate, but it was so delicious that everything was gone in the last bite. You sit in the farthest corner. If a reservation is necessary, you should also go to the homepage, for example. E.g. point out. Employees attack each other and sometimes prefer smoking before service.

Frozen chicken with frozen fries that costs 15 bucks in Ica. I pay SEK 149 for fresh food, not frozen food that costs you 30 bucks in total to produce, SEK 119 for the chef who fried frozen chicken in the kitchen?

The atmosphere has the feel of a better chip shop, the service was very friendly, the schnitzels were definitely freshly fried and not frozen goods. I had the mushroom cream schnitzel with fried potatoes and my friend schnitzel Viennese style. Overall tasty and reasonably priced (we still had 20%). Clothes had to be aired at home first 🙈😉

A rating outside the usual range, as the four of us wanted to stop here to eat delicious schnitzel, but left the restaurant without eating. From the outside, the facility looks somewhat inviting, but there is more that can be done to attract hungry guests. We were guided by the name of the restaurant and stopped in anyway. In any case, the interior looks marginally better than the first impression from the outside, which is the only reason why it's given 3 stars. The four of us sat down, studied the menu and at this point we were already disillusioned: a restaurant with the name “Schnitzelkaiser” and then a very manageable menu with about two handfuls of schnitzel dishes. We are definitely used to more failure in other places There wasn't a single schnitzel dish with chicken on the menu. That's a really poor performance. This was topped off by the fact that when we asked if there was also chicken schnitzel, the service employee replied that in principle was possible, but there would be an additional charge of €6 to €7, as the chicken was more expensive. To understand: the cheapest Viennese style schnitzel at the time cost €19.80 without a discount This tends to cost over €25.00 - €30.00 and more, depending on the schnitzel dish you choose. This argument and handling was met with incomprehension by the four of us, so we all left the restaurant to go to another restaurant. For this reason there is only a total of 1 star for the “Schnitzelkaiser”. All in all, the "Schnitzelkaiser" doesn't even begin to deserve his name. Given the way business is conducted, the title of emperor is completely unreasonable and even the rank of lackey would be inappropriate. I can't comment on the quality of the food or the service yet, as we moved on due to the banter beforehand. If you have very few expectations of a schnitzel restaurant and your stomach is in the back of your knees, you're probably in good hands there. Otherwise, our recommendation is clear: Please try your culinary luck somewhere else!

Even if I would like to write something else, the staff was really nice and friendly and, even after such a stressful day, still kind, polite and accommodating. And now unfortunately for the negative part of this review, we ordered schnitzel Hamburger style, 🙈 the Champion sauce was instant, the fried potatoes were soggy, and as a highlight on top there were raw onions. In terms of the atmosphere, spiders were running around the entire facade of the building in the evenings, crawling on my shoulder to see what there was to eat. Therefore, from us once and not again.

Schnitzel Kaiser should have been called something else. You come with great expectations and look forward to a schnitzel and then you get the menu. There were 5 schnitzel dishes on the menu and all schnitzel only had pork. When I asked if you could also get chicken schnitzel, you got an annoyed expression on your face and the sentence: "Then I would have to charge you an additional €7 more. For a dish that already costs €20. So don't hold it against me, but I only wanted a turkey schnitzel with fries, not duck with stewed cabbage and dumplings. Then we went and ate something different. So I can't say anything about the taste.
