Schnell Imbiss in Neuss

I ate here because of the positive reviews. First of all: it was the worst experience of the last three years. The entire restaurant is very dirty and cheaply decorated. The food, however, is authentic Chinese, so it looks completely different from what you'd normally get at a Germanized Chinese restaurant. This piqued my interest. I ordered half a duck plus side dishes and a Chinese beer. The cold duck from the display case was taken to the kitchen and then served to my table on a plate. To my great surprise, it was cold, and the skin was as tough as rubber. It had also been cut into small pieces with a saw, but not the way it would normally be cut. Everything was full of bone splinters, and the cold and therefore tough meat was difficult to eat. The side dishes were good. Since the only people there were Chinese people in tracksuits, I assumed the food wasn't particularly expensive. In fact, I was charged €24 (€21 for the half duck, €3 for the beer). For such a run-down atmosphere, a cold duck full of bone fragments is an absolute joke, but I paid for it with gritted teeth. The woman who serves and collects the food doesn't speak German, so you can't ask questions or discuss things. I suspect the Chinese clientele sitting there doesn't pay such prices, and they have a two-tier pricing system. Never again. (I passed by there again on a nighttime stroll and took a photo of the entrance area. The four chairs in front of the door and the dirt pretty much say it all. It looks exactly the same inside.)

After ordering the noodles, I waited for 20 minutes and when I asked about it, the waiter told me that he had forgotten to place the order. He didn't even apologize. I will never eat at such a restaurant again.

The prices are so reasonable that you wonder how that's even possible. The service was excellent! Special requests (e.g., vegetarian) were also possible. The food was delicious and authentic. You feel like a tourist in a small Chinese village.

Very good food and a completely Asian clientele, which is always a sign of quality, at least for Asian food. True, there is little conversation and the conversation is already one-sided, but like everywhere else in the world, a smile and a few kind words help and the relationship suddenly improves. It's almost a must for us now when we're in Neuss

I can't rate the food because I was sent out because there is a break. The store must be doing incredibly well if customers are being sent out. If I were to do this with our customers, I would have a one-on-one meeting. Well, I'll never go there again

The food is absolutely authentic and tastes very good. To all the people who complain about the restaurant and the service... in China they don't attach much importance to the ambience. Anyone who was there will know this. It's purely about the food. Anyone expecting carpeted floors and upholstered birch chairs will be disappointed.

Legendarily BAD!!!! The shop looks so neglected! Chairs all over the place, tables not cleared even though no guest was in sight. Chairs not wiped down. But ok!! Hunger makes you forgive a lot. So we sat down. An unfriendly person almost immediately (after a questioning look) slammed two greasy cards on the table. Actually, we were already finished loading at that moment. But we still tried to place an order. After several attempts at looking, I spoke to the person. He also started moving quite unmotivated. When I asked if we were disturbing, I was answered with a strange sound. AHA I thought to myself, maybe he doesn't understand me. Next try in English!! ZERO reaction!!!!! Then it was over. We left the location. It was my worst restaurant experience ever. I once caught fish poisoning in Mallorca! That was more fun! Such businesses should be banned!!!

Worst service I have ever experienced. The waiter wordlessly throws the card on the table and leaves. After a while we asked if we could order. He came with the pad in his hand and looked at us without saying a word. When I wanted to place my order there was no response 🤷‍♀️. When asked if he understood us, nothing except turning his head away. A friendly attempt in English, nothing happened. We then left because it was hopeless to order. I've never walked out of a restaurant so stunned. Not recommendable!

Sehr lecker und preiswert. Wer authentisch chinesisch essen möchte ist hier genau richtig ! Parkplätze sind direkt vor der Tür aber nicht besonders viele. Mitarbeiter sind auch immer super drauf ! Klare Empfehlung

Die besten chinesisch originalgetreuen Suppen weit und breit. Der Laden ist immer voll mit Asiaten, das ist ein Kompliment für die Küche selbst. Bitte kein schickimicki ala Düsseldorf erwarten, gute Boden ständige und vor allem originalgetreue chinesische Küche. Guter Preis, frische Zutaten und viele Parkplätze ;)
