I don't know if the chef changed or something else happened, but the food feels like it doesn't taste like anything. €15.80 for a meal that I have to add seasoning myself to get any flavor at all is pretty disappointing.

It's a very cozy and friendly restaurant with good service, a quaint decor, and a very wide range of food. We've been going there for years when we want a quiet meal (as a couple or with a large group) – I have only good things to say, and so have everyone who's been there with us. Five well-deserved stars!

The small buffet, which cost €21.00, didn't impress us. Used plates weren't cleared away, so you had to take them to the counter yourself. When I checked out, I was only given the total amount, and I had to ask for a written receipt.

The selection of dishes was very meager and overpriced at 21.80 euros per person The Kaiser Buffet should be renamed the Diarrhea Buffet. Because even before we left we all had stomach cramps. We shit our hearts out all night long. If you want acute diarrhea, you should eat here.

I went to the Peking Garden in Neuss-Reuschenberg with great expectations, but unfortunately I was massively disappointed. The food seemed cheaply produced, tasted bland and had nothing to do with authentic Chinese cuisine. A lot of it tasted like ready-made sauce and frozen food – exactly what Sebastian Lege repeatedly uncovers in his research. The buffet was carelessly prepared, lukewarm and consisted mainly of fried mass-produced goods. Even classics like crispy duck or fried noodles had neither bite nor flavor. The service was also rather lackluster and inattentive. If you're looking for good food, you should give this restaurant a wide berth. Unfortunately, this is more about quantity than quality.

We first went to Peking Garden 20 years ago and the food was great back then. Yesterday we visited this restaurant again after a long time for the buffet. The quality of the food is terrible, no spices, lukewarm, the duck used earlier a highlight was dry and bland. The dessert selection was best, but for €21.90 you can also visit a good pastry shop. We will not visit this restaurant again.

Unfortunately not even worth one star. Ordered the food and picked it up. At home everything wasn't even lukewarm. We had 5 different dishes, nothing tasted good. Everything was very tasteless, there was a lack of spices and the sauces were very watery. Crispy duck was limp, the baked chicken had a very strange taste, as if it had a sting. Everything ended up in the trash can. Really a waste of money.

I haven't seen such a bad, completely inauthentic Chinese buffet with so little sensible choice in a long time. Almost all frozen and convenience goods (chicken nuggets, squid rings, fries, store-bought spring rolls, cheese balls, fried, fried Oreos, fried banana, meatballs in tomato sauce) everything was super oily and just not tasty. Unfortunately, even the nice service and facilities can't save it.

Unfortunately, this buffet restaurant cannot keep up with the competition. You can't expect much from the food because it doesn't taste much. The restaurant was very full and you had to ask for your drink several times. The products are mostly convenience and not sufficiently filled for the volume of the seats. You have to put away the used plates yourself (I'm used to it differently from buffet restaurants). The price is not appropriate for what is offered.

We wanted to try the buffet. We were there shortly after 5:30 p.m. It's a small, good selection, but it was replenished quickly. My husband only gives 3 stars for the food because some hot dishes were not hot, but lukewarm. (Warmed from below and above, according to the employee). I was also surprised by Dutch Poffertjes. It also takes getting used to the fact that the used plates should be placed in a specific place. Next time we will take a dish off the menu.

We went here for a dinner buffet with our child. Here children pay 1.20 euros per year of life, which is really great because children usually eat less and a meal a la carte would be more expensive. Price for adults 21.80 euros. The rooms are decorated in a typically Chinese style, the furniture appears old-fashioned. The toilets are not signposted and are at the front entrance. Were clean, but the doors are very old with holes and difficult to close. Everything could be a little more well maintained, but they are also very large rooms. Piano music was playing on a continuous loop, which was actually a bit annoying after a while. The buffet is not huge, but sufficient and is always filled up quickly. There was Peking soup, chicken skewers teriyaki, chicken wings, poffertjes on the right. Attached to it is a small sushi corner with really well decorated sushi with tuna, salmon and vegetables, which they rolled themselves there. The rice could have held up better though as the sushi fell apart. Taste okay. Then there were various salads with different dressings to choose from (e.g. Chinese coleslaw, farmer's salad, seaweed salad). In the middle is the console with the warm dishes (duck with onions, chicken with vegetables, mushrooms in soy sauce, fried rice, fries, noodles, chicken nuggets, 8 treasures, breaded fish, breaded chicken, shrimp, spring rolls, breaded calamari, baked Sushi etc.) So a lot of fried food. Warm desserts such as baked banana and baked Oreos could also be found here, along with honey. For the main courses 3 different sauces: peanut, soy, sweet and sour. The dessert buffet was the best and our child enjoyed it. Chocolate fountain with fruit skewers or sweets to dip in, various cakes, jelly puddings, creams, ice cream bar with sprinkles and sauces to decorate. That was a highlight. It was okay for the price, the food tasted good, but it wasn't anything special and there wasn't enough Chinese food at the buffet. There is also a huge menu from which you could order individual dishes. However, we found these to be too expensive in terms of price. The staff is quick and could definitely use more please, thank you or similar politeness. Plates from food should be placed in a place on a cupboard close to the kitchen. Makes sense if there are only a few staff and they don't have to constantly collect plates. It's not something you're used to, but it's okay. The restaurant is on a main road and we found a parking space on the shoulder.

In my opinion best Chinese restaurant in Neuss

I ate there for the first time with my family. We all decided on the buffet. We then ordered our drinks and waited for them. My mother then said, look there are spider webs hanging on the curtains, I didn't say anything but look how much and how big it is. My brother then noticed that the mirrors on the pillars were completely dirty and smeared and said that that had nothing to do with cleanliness, but that shouldn't be the case. When our drinks arrived we grabbed something from the buffet and ate it. What we all noticed was that it was very quiet and we really enjoyed the food and the peace and quiet. However, we had to take away our empty plates ourselves. The food was very good and I can recommend it. I tolerated everything and that's not always easy for allergy sufferers. And the desserts were to die for. The selection at the buffet was a bit limited but there was something for every taste. But we will definitely eat there again. I deduct 2 points for the cleanliness and the fact that you have to clear the plates yourself, so I only give it 3 stars.

Klassisches Chinarestaurant. Übersichtliches Büfett aber auch ala Kart ist möglich. Gemütliche,nicht zu groß und vor allem nicht zu laut.

No lunch menu for vegetarians/vegans, little menu selection, vegetarian not vegan. Unfriendly service, not even being looked at, only speaking to older people who keep coming back. My husband's food was fried in a meat pan (you can taste it, (absolutely insulting), in my case you could see the fat eyes in the sauce (more like soup). Tofu was simply added from the block. Umami, they still have to invent it. If When it comes to paying, then Madame can talk, no, not recommended for those without meat,

Mini buffet, but what's there tastes good. In addition, it is not overcrowded, so there are no lines in front of the buffet. No matter how busy the restaurant is, it is always very quiet. Therefore, I find it very pleasant for an all-you-can-eat restaurant.

This restaurant in Reuschenberg has been around for a long time. We don't really like China Buffet so we chose from the menu. Everything was to our satisfaction and we will come back.

We were in the restaurant for the first time yesterday. The food was very good, crunchy vegetables, the duck was crispy and dry, as it should be without any mushy fat. The different sauces were nicely seasoned. The buffet was very rich and fresh. The service was courteous. Really highly recommended. We will come back.

There were two of us last night and we decided on the buffet. It was an absolute disaster. The offer was never completely there, it was only sparsely replenished, which was by far not enough for the mass of people who decided on the buffet. Added to this was the unfriendliness of the service staff, which was experienced again and again. We will definitely take a different approach in the future.

We ordered Peking duck twice. The food and rice were on the table after a short time. It was very tasty, the portions were generous. And it was very tasty. We will be back.

Update New Year's Eve 2023: Like many others, we wanted to start New Year's Eve by going out to eat. Since the number of guests was really enormous, we had done well to reserve a table in advance. This is particularly recommended for larger groups on a day like this, as almost every table was occupied shortly after we arrived. One can therefore also assume that the restaurant could have prepared for this rush. Unfortunately, this was not the case, at least during the “peak hour” between around 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. When we arrived, the service seemed stressed. The orders were taken quickly... then that was it for now. We had to wait 30 minutes for our drinks, although the guests at the neighboring tables had a similar experience. Questions from other guests were either answered with a curt “coming soon” or “there’s just a traffic jam”. After 40 minutes we were finally able to receive our starters (spring rolls). Surprisingly, our main courses arrived after another 15 minutes. The dishes were served hot and were overall OK. Nobody expects culinary highlights in a Chinese restaurant, but a minimum level of friendliness and service should still be expected. Unfortunately, there were clearly deficiencies in these points, so the conclusion of this evening can be summed up as a rather adequate performance. Positive: On-site parking, barrier-free access. We were here for lunch. There are enough places available. The reception was cautiously friendly, the menu was handed out promptly, and drinks were also quickly at the table. A bit irritating: there is no specifically designated vegetarian dish on the lunch menu. OK. you could order a lunch dish without any meat or fish ingredients (except vegetarian noodle soup with a price over €10)... but you would probably inevitably ask yourself the question of how to prepare it. (My girlfriend therefore chose from the normal menu). My starter soup was served hot and tasted OK. Both of our main courses were served warm, but unfortunately my fried noodles with chicken were a bit oily. Overall, both dishes tasted good and couldn't be completely "finished" due to the richness. When you clear away the items, you will automatically be asked whether the rest should be packed up. Overall recommended for a reasonably priced lunch.

ABSOLUT NICHT EMPFEHLENSWERT!!!!Geschmacklich schlecht,Warmspeisen am Buffet lauwarm bis kalt.Bei der Bitte der Rechnung gebeten ein Kind rauszurechnen da höchstens nur 3 Pommes gegessen Unverständnis gezeigt und uneinsichtig diskutiert. Hier wird der verdiente Euro höher gesetzt als der Service und das Essen.Die schlechten Rezensionen sind hier absolut gerechtfertigt. Uns sieht dieser Laden nie wieder...SERVICE &ESSEN EINFACH NUR WIDERLICH!!!

Wie viele andere auch wollten wir den Silvesterabend mit dem Essen gehen einläuten. Da das Gästeaufkommen wirklich enorm war, hatten wir gut daran getan, vorher einen Tisch zu reservieren. Gerade für größere Gruppen ist dies unbedingt an einem solchen Tag zu empfehlen, da kurz nach unserem Eintreffen nahezu jeder Tisch belegt war. Man kann daher aber auch davon ausgehen, dass das Restaurant sich auf diesen Andrang hätte vorbereiten können. Zumindest in der "Stoßzeit" zwischen ca. 18.30 - 20 Uhr war dies leider nicht der Fall. Bereits bei unserem Eintreffen wirkte der Service gestresst. Die Bestellungen wurden zwar zügig aufgenommen... dann war es das erstmal. Wir haben 30 min. auf unsere Getränke warten müssen, wobei es den Gästen an den Nachbartischen ähnlich erging. Nachfragen anderer Gäste wurden entweder mit einem knappen "Kommt gleich" oder auch "es ist halt Stau" beantwortet. Nach nunmehr 40 min. konnten wir dann endlich unsere Vorspeisen (Frühlingsrollen) in Empfang nehmen. Erstaunlicherweise kamen unsere Hauptgerichte dann bereits nach weiteren 15 min. Die Gerichte wurden heiß serviert und waren insgesamt i.O. Jetzt erwartet sicherlich niemand in einem chinesischen Restaurant kulinarische Highlights, aber ein Mindestmaß an Freundlichkeit und Service sollte dennoch vorausgesetzt werden können. An diesen Punkten hat es leider eindeutig gehapert, so dass sich das Fazit dieses Abends mit einer eher ausreichenden Leistung zusammenfassen lässt.

Vorwort: 4 Sterne bei Google?! Verstehe ich nicht im Ansatz! Ich würde vielleicht einen für den Parkplatz geben 😅🙈 Bei Ankunft trafen wir auf eine gestresste Bedienung in einem abgerockten Lokal. Es ist wohl Irgendwann, ein Teller herunter gefallen, welcher beim verlassen des Lokals immer noch in Einzelteilen herum gelegen hat. Wir haben uns das Buffet angesehen und trotzdem, dass der Laden nicht ausgebucht war und das Angebot überschaubar knapp waren einzelne Dinge leer. Der Schokobrunnen war überhaupt nicht in Betrieb und sah auch nicht gut aus. Das ganze Essen war nicht ansprechend, wenig Auswahl und ein ungepflegtes Lokal, mit gestressten Personal. Ich habe das erste mal ein Lokal ohne zu Essen bzw. sogar ohne zu trinken wieder verlassen. Nach Willich zum China Sea Garden, Bewertung findet sich dort. Auf jeden Fall kein Vergleich 😉
