The pork knuckle is extremely good. Juicy well-done, great, consistent crust. The bread dumplings were the hidden champion. The Kaiserschmarrn rounded it off nicely. Crispy, not fresh, but very pleasant. Thank you Claudia for taking such good care of us!

Our second visit - and probably not the last. Delicious food: the pork knuckle was juicy and had a crispy crust. The fried liver loaf was combined with a fried egg and potato salad. Simple but convincing. Finally, a caraway schnapps and an Eisbock liqueur. There wasn't room for more.

My visit to this restaurant was in June 2024 during the Euro Cup 2024, the atmosphere was dynamic and fun as everyone was watching the matches. The food was nice, make sure to try the Schweinshaxe, Bavarian typical porc knuckle! Service was fast !

I'm sorry to give such a poor review. The meal was good but the service was terrible. We were served by a waitress who was very disdainful towards us and who rolled her eyes as we understand neither German nor English! She pushed my 10 year old son who was in her way! The worst was when I paid her...she took the change, I told her thank you and left without a word! We really felt lower than the earth!

It ruined a really good mood in an instant. I experienced clear racism. The waiter, who was looking at all the tables, did not make eye contact with us until the end and ignored us until the person sitting next to us told us to go. Even though we told him our meal wasn't finished, he covered it with a napkin and tried to clean it up. And when I stopped him from doing so, he said he couldn't speak English and acted like he didn't know anything. However, we tried to make eye contact for 20 minutes to order a beer, but he didn't look at us even when we were next to him, and in the meantime, he visited every table we didn't call to ask for additional orders and paid for us, so we couldn't shake the feeling that we were ignored. It was truly the worst restaurant. The important thing is that the restaurant wasn't very busy. It was around 6pm and a third of the chairs were empty. I'm really so disappointed.

The staff was incredibly rude and confront us pressuring us to give a tip although the service was not good. The woman was around 30 years old, sadly I don't recall her name, we seat close to the entrance.

Unfortunately, the food was not typically Bavarian (in terms of quality). There was no roast pork and the Kaiserschmarrn was also dryer than average. It's a shame, because the waitress wasn't particularly friendly and when asked what it was like, they had to justify themselves verbally. Very unpleasant. Addendum: A really very unprofessional answer. The roast pork was over!

I was there during the week for the Weißwurst breakfast. The sausages and also the pretzel and the wheat beer were super tasty. The service, however, was very disappointing. Although there wasn't much going on, the girls who served were very inattentive and preferred to sit at the table as regulars rather than take care of my forgotten pretzel. I had to wait 10 minutes for my pretzel, after repeated requests I picked it up from the kitchen myself. If there's a lot going on and something is forgotten, that's okay. But to be treated like that as a woman who is there alone for breakfast is really a shame. Some of the ladies in service also seemed very unmotivated; there wasn't even a small smile. It doesn't seem "necessary" to be friendly to "tourist guests" here. This works better and I would have liked it differently.

Food good, beer fantastic, restaurant traditional. Toilet definitely needs to be replaced. The landlord kept his word. Toilets have been renewed and everything is sparkling clean. The renovation of the tavern and the guest area at the tavern was wonderful. Congratulations.

Based on the many visits, I can say with conviction that a stop here really is part of Munich. A brewery that suits Munich. The waitresses are on their toes and you can tell that they enjoy doing their job. When it comes to beer, you have a perfect selection. I've never had anything to complain about when it comes to food, a perfect brewery menu with really tasty dishes. On Sunday mornings there is even brass music to accompany the Weißwurst, what more could you want. See you next time! PS: Thanks for the answer to my review!

The English menu is good and the food is delicious. Be sure to try the white sausage Weißwurst. I was at a loss because I didn't know how to talk to my friend, but an elderly couple sitting next to me kindly taught me. Although they asked for a tip when paying, I was willing to pay because the service was so good.

We went with my wife and 3 friends on Monday evening and it was an enjoyable evening for us. It has a nice atmosphere, there is a wide variety of beers, the service is fast and we really liked the snack we ate in the form of potato balls. A place to be recommended in Munich.

We were there spontaneously with 9 people and were lucky to get a place. I recommend making reservations... The food and beer were very good but the incredibly friendly service topped everything. Very quickly and despite the noise and the many people, she was incredibly nice the whole evening.

None of the waiters/hostesses offered a seat, and after we sat down at a free, unreserved table, the waitress said that our baby stroller was in the way of the next table. When we asked where we could sit so that the stroller would not get in the way, they did not offer us anything. She turned around and left. We did the same.

Amazing atmosphere, on Sunday many people were there in traditional costumes and with musical instruments. The food came quickly and was extremely tasty. The service was polite, nice and accommodating. Highly recommended!

A beer hall where you can enjoy Munich's local cuisine. There was a little line up on a Friday night, but we got in safely! The shop is cute and the customer service is good for a German beer hall, so it was easy to enter. The target is Schweinehakse, a Munich specialty made from roasted pork shank. It was served as a chunk of pork with the skin still attached, and the skin was crispy and the gelatinous part underneath was also exquisite, making it one of my favorite dishes! The stewed offal was also recommended, and it was also melty and delicious.

Horrible service, we have waiting for more than 30 minutes for ordering food. We just complain about the waiting time, and the server lady is very irritated. Such kind of people should be laid off. Just saw the restaurant owner reply which is very rude and I also read a few other 1 star comments, it seems this restaurant indeed have rasist problem against east asians. Schade für Deutschland.

The five of us had dinner. The service was friendly and efficient. We had three Wiener Schnitzels at the table. Unfortunately that was rather average and we expected more. Presentation, taste and side dish can definitely be improved. The Kaiserschmarrn was tasty, but should have been served fresh as it had been there for a while. Overall it was good average in the Bräuhaus, but nothing special.

We were at the Weisses Bräuhaus for the second time today and couldn't be happier. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was great. But above all our service person Jozefina sweetened our evening. Courteous and absolutely friendly, it couldn't have been better! Best regards :)

It's an okay restaurant. The beef is good, but the desserts are terrible and the staff are not attentive. They do not ask if the food is good.

We liked Weisses Bräuhaus so much that we went there for dinner on two days. The light tastes a little different than the usual Bavarian light beers and you should definitely try it. In addition to the standard dishes, the menu also has something unusual to offer, for example the Kronfleisch cuisine with sour kidneys (very tasty) or Kalbskron and Kalbslüngerl. On our next stay in Munich we will visit this brewery again because of the slightly different menu but also because of the very nice and friendly service.

Very warm welcome and the dishes served metzgerplatte and the Schneider aventinus are of good quality and tasty I do not recommend the apfelstrudel which warms you up

The service was very unfriendly, so we almost had the feeling that we were disturbing them with our presence. The portions of the food were very small for the price and unfortunately it wasn't really tasty either. I wouldn't go there again, pure mass processing and tourist shop. Definitely not worth the money, neither nice service nor good food…

🇩🇪 Try four types of German sausages at once 🍫 On my first night in Munich, I randomly searched online for restaurant recommendations, and finally chose a 🇩🇪 restaurant with an authentic appearance that is close to the city center for dinner~ 🍽 Butcher’s platter 😋😋😋😋 I made 🇩🇪 sausages for dinner, and I chose a platter with 4 types of sausages on the 🧐 menu. I can’t tell you which 4 types are on the menu. Based on the editor’s knowledge, I recognized them as Frankfurter sausages, Nuremberg sausages, Munich black and white sausages & Vienna sausages~ Most of it tastes like pork, but the texture is soft and the spices are different 🤔 Although it comes with potatoes 🥔 and sauerkraut, but halfway through the meal, I felt that the sausage was a bit salty~ 🍹 DOC Schneider’s - lemon pop (0.5) 😋😋😋😋 After eating such salty sausages, I always choose lemonade as a drink which is safer 🤪 Dinner 💶💶💶💶💶 About €25/person 💁🏻‍♀️ The space and atmosphere of the restaurant are good, but the waiter at the reception is not friendly 😐 I don’t know if it’s because I am alone, but they are beer restaurants that do not take the initiative to arrange seats. Delicious food, good selection, great staff

Despite many tourists, this place gives an original feeling. Food and atmosphere are just great! In every visit to Munich I go to Weisses Bräuhaus.

Good food, beers of all kinds. Very crowded at lunch on Saturday. We queued but it was rush hour and it lasted just 10 minutes. The staff manages customers very well and immediately assigns free seats but, given the large turnout, it may happen that you share your table with other people. Sausages of all kinds. If you want a weisswurst (large white sausages) after breakfast time they don't serve them. Overall it's nice because it's frequented by locals and not just tourists and the chatter is pleasant and brings joy. The structure is ancient and very beautiful. It is located immediately after Marienplatz, the brewery is on the corner.

Prices a bit high, unfortunately a bit loud, but otherwise everything was fine. We'll be back. 👍👍👍👍

The only place we went to more than once during our Munich trip. Tap5 beer oh my god, I drink 2 of them and Munich is getting better. Tap6 is also pretty nice. Love beer is also pretty good. The food is also top notch. If there was wifi, I would call this place my home. We want the internet not to surf social media while drinking beer, but to find the hotel when we get up. After tap5, mvv is like a 5000-piece puzzle... number one.

We had a wonderful evening, apart from the delicious food, I would especially like to mention our waitress Adelina. We visited as a group after watching the Munich vs. Freiburg game. We went with 8 people without making a reservation and were guided to the second floor. The female server served us like a superwoman and served us very quickly and kindly, telling us that she would be back soon whenever she left the table. Haksen was also delicious. Helles beer was also delicious.

Thanks to Adelina, we had an incredibly great evening, rarely experienced such friendly and fast service. Adelina lives this job and it shows! Gladly again!

So first of all, Schneider weisse is one of the best wheat beers!! However, I didn't think the brewery was that good... at least not if you went there as a couple. You are sat at the table somewhere with strangers in the farthest corner, or rather stacked up. It wouldn't be a problem if you had enough space. But the employees there don't really care. The knuckle and cheese spaetzle were very tasty, but I can't recommend the Wiener schnitzel. The waitresses were absolutely overwhelmed and irritable that evening. That doesn't work at all in service. Update 01/29: Reply to reply: As already mentioned, the fact of sitting at the table with strangers is not a problem at all, we are well aware of this tradition. But you should make sure that a table for 4 people doesn't have to have 7 people sitting at it, so you have almost no space to eat and drink comfortably. hence my wording “stacked”!

I was looking forward to a crispy knuckle, then I got a mushy warmed knuckle and also half a knuckle, terrible, the price/performance ratio doesn't fit at all, I spent 32 euros with a drink and left still hungry...

To be honest, I can't understand how the Weisses Bräuhaus ended up on the SZ's list of recommendations. The Gröstl was dry, the potatoes in it were mushy, the meat was dry and hard and there was no trace of egg. The bratwurst from our own butcher shop first came cold and not well cooked. After complaining and waiting for 15 minutes, a new one arrived, which was well fried but still tasted like nothing and was fat. Sauerkraut with it was also almost tasteless. How people do such simple dishes so poorly is beyond me. It's a shame especially for all the foreigners who go here and get such a bad impression of Bavarian cuisine.
