war nach langer Zeit mal wieder im Schneider Weißbräu. Es hat sich gelohnt, ich war rundherum zufrieden.

The place is crowded, so expect shared seating with strangers. Despite this, my wife and I had a wonderful meal. Our waitress was great, the food and drinks were excellent, and the atmosphere was fun. I would definitely recommend this place. I had the viel schnitzel and my wife had the oxtail stew. Delicious!!!!

Good Bavarian delicacies at fair prices.

Waited for a full hour for two sausages in a jug. Very bad and ineffective service. Ambient and the sausages themselves were the only redeeming factor.

My boyfriend and I tried to sit down to eat. From the beginning the service towards us was terrible: they offered us to sit at the corner of a table that was actually already occupied and when we asked a waitress where we could sit, she almost shouted at us in annoyance saying that they were her colleagues to take care of them...once we were "seated", another waitress joined us to take the order less than 2 minutes after having received the menu and when we told her that we were not yet ready she also responded in a polite manner annoyed that he had other things to think about. We understand the fullness of the place and we understand the amount of work behind it, but it is always sad to see that the treatment is always worse for tourists

This Bavarian restaurant is one of my favorite restaurants in Munich! It offers authentic Bavarian food, and the quality is always excellent. I especially love their soups, but also their beers, which are really good and go perfectly with the food. Every time I have visitors in Munich, I take them there to have a true Bavarian experience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy traditional Bavarian cuisine and beer in a cozy and welcoming atmosphere.

Absolutely worth trying... even if there is a queue it moves quickly so don't be discouraged... it's worth it...

Location, atmosphere and beer are great. Service was super friendly and quick, compliments. Prices are ok. Food, it seems to me, has declined somewhat over the years. In any case, I can't recommend the Bräuhaus burger that I had.

A great Weissbier spot in Munich that serves really good Bavarian food. The place is buzzing but they would find you a nice place to seat and enjoy proper Bavarian food. Go for their Bavarian sausage mix and their Bavarian Weissbier selection.

We were discriminated against because we were Italian, the welcome was very rude and careless. After having made us sit down, always making us feel unwelcome, the owner showed up in the room in a rude and aggressive manner, shouting at us and ordering us to leave for the sole reason that we had applauded to celebrate the birthday of one of our friends (applause to which, among other, all the customers present in the room also joined warmly and joyfully). We do not recommend this place because they ruined our evening, we had never been treated so badly, we did not cause any inconvenience or annoyance to those present in the room. Being tourists we expected a different welcome. We were really disappointed.

Real german restaurant with very tasty food. Would come here again. The staff is very nice.

Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to test the food. CHILDREN UNWANTED!!!! We should leave our stroller at the entrance! - our toddler sat in it. When my husband asked me in astonishment whether the stroller should be parked there with a child (child needs the stroller!!!), the ladies smiled and said, um, well that's a new rule. Strollers MUST be parked there!

We have been clients for more than 10 years. Everything is recommended, the food, the atmosphere. We are very friends with the manager. However tonight, a middle-aged, blonde, heavily tattooed waitress was rude, aggressive and intrusive. We told her, correctly, that we wanted to pay by card, she didn't like it because she preferred payment in cash, and she alone let the electronic payment system be blocked. He made us wait a quarter of an hour to make the payment, which was finally made by card. He spoke loudly without any composure or respect. An unpresentable and disproportionate attitude that no client deserves. Thank you very much for your response. It is a highly professional act. We will certainly return, but we will never deal with this "employee."

The service was terrible with very long lead time. Food was very disappointing given the price was €20++. The service lady was of course so pleased when we “had” to offer 10% service tips which she almost pushed the machine to our face to press the button. Dont book this one if you are tourists who want to have nice experience

On New Year's Eve, despite numerous requests, we managed to eat here without a reservation. Fast and friendly staff, the shank and potatoes dish was excellent. They also speak in English. Recommended for a typical last minute Bavarian dinner!

Traditional Bavarian food, super busy on a Monday morning but it was holiday season. We had the white sausages (need to order by 12pm as they are a breakfast delight), sweet mustard, pretzels and beer. Make sure to remove the skin from the sausages. You choose the total number of sausages and pretzels for the table and then get stuck in! Delicious with great Bavarian service and atmosphere. Having a Weiße beer for breakfast was a fun experience. Staff very helpful and prompt. Bathroom facilities available, have English menus if required, lots of seating, accept card payments accepted.

Sehr schönes, traditionelles Münchner Wirtshaus. Wir waren am Silvesterabend da, da war es natürlich sehr voll und entsprechend lebhaft. Der Service war zügig und freundlich. Die Speisen waren sehr gut, die Portionen ausreichend; ein klein bisserl mehr hätte es an Beilagen sein dürfen, dann hätte das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis noch besser gepasst. Alles in allem aber eine klare Empfehlung. Ein Wirtshaus, in dem ich vor 25 Jahren schon war und das ich auch heute noch gerne besuche.

They only have 2 vegan options and 1 was sold out. What I had was basically some tomatoes on rice. Super boring! And at 17 euro a total rip off! The beer and pretzels 🥨 are good. Leave the rest!

After a solid hour of waiting, our food order was finally taken. Stupid answer, everyone would have to wait. Guests after us were served beforehand. The staff was simply hopelessly overwhelmed. It's a shame if the management doesn't take this into account when making reservations. Addendum: According to our comment, service has noticeably improved. Thanks for that.

Overall, our visit to this typical Bavarian inn in the valley was a very pleasant experience. Although the restaurant was busy, we immediately got a table for six people without making a reservation - not a given in Munich. However, there was a small drawback: we were assigned a table on the first floor and the corresponding table number was given on the door. Unfortunately, the service staff there was not familiar with table numbering, which led to confusion. This lack of organization was somewhat unfortunate. From this point on, however, our evening became great: another waitress took over and far exceeded our expectations. We have rarely experienced such attentive, fast and friendly service. Orders came quickly and every dish was excellent - from quality to preparation. We can highly recommend this inn. Despite the small initial difficulties, it was a wonderful experience. We'd love to come back!

We just stayed and what a disappointment. All because of a waitress who treats the locals well but tells us foreigners to shut up and wait in bad manners. We didn’t have any reservations for dinner. But the restaurant was kind to accommodate us with fellow guests who didn’t have a reservations. While we shared a table, it didn’t feel very open (like we had no privacy) as we had individual bills and our own space on the table. The beers are amazing. I would definitely visit again.

(!!!) My friend took a plate with white sausages. 6 hours later he got a FOOD POISON. It was 100% because oh this plate as he didn’t eat something else before and after this meal. (!) Very rude service.

Great option of german food by Marienplatz, with great typical food, nice portion size and fair prices. We had the schnitzel and pork knuckle for main dish, as well as kaiserschmmarn and apple for dessert. All very good! It's also worth trying the wheat beer.

I enjoyed my time here and would recommend as a beer hall to visit in Munich! My family and I ordered the pretzels and beer to start. We enjoyed trying the different types of beer on their menu. My brother and I split the burger and one of their December specials that was potato pancakes, lox, dill and mustard. Both were extremely delicious and I would order them again. We also ordered the apple fritters with vanilla ice cream. They were out of this world delicious and super enjoyable to end our meal with. I would recommend having reservations, but if not try to go before dinner time around 4-5 and see if they have a table. This beer hall is definitely more relaxed than Hofbräuhaus and not as chaotic, so it was a nice change of pace.

Today we ate with our family at the Weisses Bräuhaus im Tal and were overall disappointed. Although the food was really tasty, the service left a lot to be desired. Our reservation for 6 people at 7pm was made in advance, but when we arrived we were faced with the choice of either sitting at a table for 4 or sitting at a large table with 4 strangers - which was anything but pleasant was. The service started with a rude incident: We had to ask for cutlery, whereupon the blonde waitress simply said that it was “next to us” - which was simply not the case. It seemed like we were responsible for our own utensils, which we didn't expect. As the evening progressed, further misunderstandings happened: we were served the wrong beer and a dish was swapped, which unnecessarily extended the waiting time. The waitress who looked after us all evening tried hard, but was also rather inattentive and unfriendly when it came to correcting the mistakes. However, the food itself was really good - the dishes were tasty and fresh. Unfortunately, the poor service couldn't make up for the overall experience. In a restaurant of this price range you would expect more attention and professionalism. Conclusion: If you are looking for good food, the Weisses Bräuhaus is definitely a good choice. However, if service quality and a pleasant ambience are just as important, it might be difficult to have an overall positive experience here.

Average to disappointing food quality. Food price/quality ratio disappointing. The beers are good. The staff is kind. The shop is very touristy with all that implies. In the end, nothing special for my taste.

Hatten ein Weißwurtsfrühstück und mussten 0,5 eine halbe Stunde auf die Würste warten. Als sie kamen, waren diese lauwarm bis kalt. Das bin ich vom Brauhaus nicht gewöhnt. In der Regel passt alles!

Tipical Bavarian restaurant, very nice atmosphere and live music. The food was good as well as the Weiss bier. Friendly staff and good and quick service. The prices are average, and table sharing gives an opportunity to chat with new people. So far, one of the best places visited in Munich.

The economy is a true pearl of Bavarian hospitality. The menu is a delight for all lovers of Bavarian cuisine. My personal favorite is the roast pork with potato dumplings and coleslaw – a poem!

Very nice restaurant, not quite as touristy as many others around Marienplatz

This place doesn’t even deserve a single star! While traveling in Europe, I felt racism that I had never felt before. It ruined my mood during a fun trip with high school and middle school kids and a couple of friends. When I told the employee at the counter at the entrance that there were 4 people, he bluntly told me to go up to the second floor. We went up, but no staff guided us. I sat down wondering if I should just sit down, but many of the employees didn't even look at us. When I tried to ask him, he said something in an annoyed tone and walked away. It was around 4pm, it wasn't crowded with customers, and there were only more than 5 employees on the second floor. Even though we sat there for 30 minutes, they treated us like invisible people. In the end, I got so angry that I left the store. When I came down, I saw that there were no Asians eating at the table. We were angry too, but we can't imagine the humiliation the children must have felt. It was definitely racial discrimination. While we were sitting and waiting for the staff, some Chinese people came up and ran into the 2 staff who were trying to go down to the first floor and told them there were 6 people, but they ignored them and went down as if they had not heard them or seen them. The Chinese people were puzzled and sat down, but I think they would have suffered the same thing as us. Really the worst store! Never go there! Unless you want to ruin your fun trip! The reputation of being called one of the top three beer bars in Munich doesn't suit it!

Perhaps the best Brauhaus in Munich. A friendly atmosphere and very hospitable service. Actually as it should be. Also some special beers that you normally don't come across. Recommended! We didn't eat here but it looked fine.

The Weisses Hofbräuhaus, also known as Schneider-Brauhaus, offers regional, authentic and very good Bavarian cuisine. Roast pork and pork knuckle are tasty and definitely recommended. The selection of beer specialties is enormous and diverse. When we are in Munich, the Weisses Brauhaus is our first choice😁.

It is a typical inn nicely furnished. The service was also really excellent. The food was also great, but it was simply too loud for me. At the end you're left with the feeling that you were simply in a beer hall.

Super creative menu (where else in Bavaria can you find pork chin), excellent food and one of the very few inns that doesn't serve the food completely over-salted as standard. Service went like this. The problem with bad air is catastrophic. And so bad that when you breathe you notice that there is no more oxygen in the air. We then had to leave the restaurant early and needed 20 minutes in the fresh air to acclimatize again. It's a real shame that this long-known problem isn't finally being addressed.

Best traditional pub in Munich. Be sure to come by on Sundays because there is a white sausage breakfast with tavern music. Super nice service. Simply great!

The service so bad, i was want to have a nice dinner in this place but the servants so rude . I mean ? I was try to ask her something and she just like “please wait! It’s so busy!”. I understand how busy it is but?? Can she speak in the nice way?? I wasn’t try to rush her and why can’t she just hear me for a bit?! I ended up just got a drink and leave . Good luck!

Last night we had dinner with 4 people, unfortunately our food didn't arrive right away, which I thought was a shame. The place was very busy, but something like that shouldn't actually happen.

We experienced extremely rude service at the door and poor service overall (practically no service at the table apart from simply bringing food and leaving it). We walked in with a one-year-old and, despite the cold weather, queued at the door for a seat where we could have some space for the baby. Initially, a female staff member attended to us, but shortly after, a male staff member completely ignored us, instead addressing and seating a white male customer who arrived after us. Despite us clearly being ahead in the queue, the male staff then turned to ask how many people were in our party, raising concerns about possible racial bias. When we were finally seated, the male staff directed us to our table with a visibly impatient attitude. I asked if there was a baby seat available, to which he curtly replied that they had only five baby seats and it was a busy restaurant. As I hesitated, unsure how a one-year-old could sit safely without a baby seat, he rudely shouted at my mother—who was moving a stroller to make space for others—as if we were being unreasonable. Not speaking German isn’t our fault, but shouting instructions in German without making an effort to assist guests who clearly don’t understand is unprofessional and disrespectful. We’re from London, and it’s unclear why the staff assumed we wouldn’t understand or communicate in another language. At the table, there was no real service to speak of—a stark contrast to Hofbräuhaus, which is larger and much busier yet still manages to provide excellent service. For example: • My mother ordered hot water, which was charged €3.90 as “tea.” • When I asked if they could warm up baby food, they responded dismissively and said no. Additionally, the restaurant is completely unsuitable for families with young children and maybe also unfriendly to Asian guests (❗️). There is no baby-changing facility in the toilets—not even in the accessible toilet—and the staff showed no empathy or understanding for a woman bringing a young baby.

Good food, quick service, very full, therefore rather noisy and the atmosphere suffers a bit.

If it's full and you don't have a reservation, you may be seated at a table with strangers. That's not a problem in principle, but if the waitress simply ignores everyone who isn't sitting directly on the aisle, it becomes a strange evening. The food and beer are still very tasty.

Eating and drinking was super delicious.

Great place for food and drink, we went on a busy evening mid week when there was a football game on and had to wait for a seat as it was packed. Once seated we ordered fairly promptly given how busy it was and the food and drink was all great.

Excellent weisswurste, pretzel, traditional Weissbier Original and service. A special shout out to wonderful waitress Ursa who made us feel so welcome and at home.
