Schneider Bräuhaus München in München

We visited Weisses Brauhaus in the center of Munich because it has great reviews on Google Maps, and it definitely lives up to them. We specifically went for the traditional Munich breakfast, and it was fantastic. The place is very beautiful, with a cozy and authentic atmosphere. The food and drinks didn’t disappoint at all. The only thing I would mention is that when you enter, the waiters can sometimes take a little while to attend to you, but it’s nothing serious. Overall, a highly recommended spot!

The food quality was unfortunately abysmal; we all had stomach problems after our visit. The cheapest ingredients were used, reheated straight from the supermarket and served lukewarm. The ambiance was quite nice and the service okay.

Traditional beer house with excellent beer and traditional Bavarian cuisine, including tender and tasty pork shanks. The waitress, with beautiful dark, curly hair, was friendly and even knew how to advise in Italian. A must-try when I visit Germany.

I went for breakfast two days in a row. Both days, I had the breakfast menu, available from 9 a.m. to noon. I had Weisswurst (boiled white sausage), a pretzel, and a Strammer's Jab (number 243 in the photo). They were all delicious, and I especially recommend the Strammer's Jab. The pressed pretzel topped with leverkase and sunny-side-up fries made a wonderful combination. I tried Tap 4 and Tap 7, and Tap 7 had a long, rich finish, while Tap 4 had a dry finish. I recommend Tap 4 because it's a bit more unique. Oh, and be sure to peel off the Weisswurst skin and try the sweet honey mustard provided on the table.

The food was delicious. The portions could have been a bit bigger for my taste, but it was plenty. The service was very friendly. If I'm ever in Munich again, I would definitely go back.

Cozy and an absolute must for beer lovers. The selection of wheat beers is perfect. The menu is concise, but the dishes are Bavarian and simply delicious. The prices—well, they're typical for Munich's city center. In short: Highly recommended for visitors from out of town.

Been here on 2 other trips to Munich….quite disappointed this time. We were sat in the far back on the right side room. Our waitress was rude. While we realize she had 6 tables and all with 5 plus people a little smile would have been nice. 5 of us got our food(clearly prepared ahead it came out 3 minutes after we ordered) and the other 3 had to wait over 10 minutes for their food. What used to be a fun authentic place is now a move them in and out as fast as you can place. Without a smile. Food was luke warm and was fine.

Traditional Bavarian restaurant. Right in the heart of Munich. Food: The pulled pork burger actually tasted good. What was unpleasant, however, was that a cold slice of tomato and a cold coleslaw were placed on top of the meat, making the burger lukewarm. You could barely taste or feel the sauce, as it was completely covered by the cold coleslaw. The chef should consider a different presentation. Service: The waitress we had was quick, friendly, nice, and attentive. Atmosphere: Old building, beautiful interior. But sitting down comfortably here, having a quiet meal, and chatting is virtually impossible; it's comparable to a beer tent atmosphere – extremely loud and uncomfortable for sitting for any length of time, and perhaps having two or three drinks after eating.

I was there on Sunday and ordered roast pork. Unfortunately, the food wasn't even lukewarm, the meat was dry and tough, not good at all. The portion was also very small, with thin slices of meat, very stingy. The dumpling was overcooked! I sat not far from the entrance, behind the cutlery rest. I was freezing; it was cold and drafty. There was no curtain at the entrance to protect me from the cold, nothing. The entrance was dirty, with cigarette butts and dirt on the floor. The toilets weren't clean either. And finally, the staff was very sluggish and not at all interested in the guests. It was also very loud, and conversation was difficult. I didn't enjoy it! Sincerely, What a waste of money! Stopped in here for a quick meal and a beer, and the beer ended up being the highlight — really good and surprisingly smooth. The food was solid as well. Service wasn’t bad, but as a solo traveler there wasn’t much engagement, and they didn’t offer many recommendations when I asked. Still, it’s a good spot overall if you’re in the area and want something traditional with a good drink.

We had a team event at the Weisses Bräuhaus a few weeks ago. It was simply a fantastic experience. We were given a history of the brewery, followed by a tour, and were all very impressed. Everything was so clean and sustainable, and it speaks volumes about the company that the employees have been working there for so many years. The food was excellent. And the beer, of course. We had the pleasure of trying the "LoveBeer." I immediately bought a case. Unfortunately, the case is already empty. This means I'll soon be making another trip from Tegernsee to the Schneider Bräuhaus :)). I'm looking forward to seeing the great team again.

Excellent (wheat) beer, as is well known. Add to that a truly traditional Bavarian pub cuisine with many specialties that are sadly hard to find elsewhere (at prices that are, unfortunately, not so traditional). A typical Munich restaurant atmosphere with down-to-earth, humorous service: Highly recommended.

We went there to eat pork knuckle. After waiting 10 minutes (which wasn't a problem since we didn't have a reservation), we got a table. Unfortunately, the heating was broken that day, so it was very cold at the end of November. In addition, the door kept opening for new guests, letting in a draft of cold air. This could have been mentioned beforehand. The pork knuckle was also much too dry.

This restaurant is occupied by over 90% locals. The beer and sausages are delicious. They do ask for tips, but the prices are reasonable, so it's easy to overlook. They accept credit cards, so a 5% tip is fine. (Even the locals tip.)

If tourism once again takes precedence over tradition, then anyone who enjoys a game of Schafkopf (a Bavarian card game) should find another pub; card games are clearly frowned upon. The service was perfect, but unfortunately, the manager's position is questionable!

The atmosphere was great, local and welcoming. The service was good, quick, and the food quality was decent. I ordered pork knuckle, and it wasn't bad, but it wasn't amazing either (8/10). Overall, good value for money.

We went there for a Bavarian breakfast. The white sausages were delicious and cost €3.10 each. The pretzels were €1.50 and also worth the price. We especially want to commend the service – extremely attentive, competent, and friendly. All in all, we enjoyed it so much that we reserved a table for dinner the next day.

I visited on Friday, November 14th with my son. The service was quick, friendly, and efficient. After a friendly greeting, she brought the menu, good beer, and the food (roast pork and venison ragout).

The ambiance is lovely, rustic, and inviting! Despite its size, it feels spacious and cozy. The service is quick, and you're refilled before you know it. Unfortunately, the staff lacked a smile or a friendly demeanor (despite the high volume of customers). The food was okay, but a salad with a bit of pumpkin for over €17 is too much—just a leaf salad, albeit nicely presented, but unimaginative. However, despite these shortcomings, you won't go wrong with a visit.

Had dinner at Weisses Bräuhaus im Tal in Munich and loved every part of it. The weissbier was cold, crisp, and full of character — one of the best I’ve had in Germany. The traditional Bavarian dishes were delicious and perfectly portioned, with that homemade taste. The atmosphere was vibrant, with locals and travelers sharing long tables, creating that unmistakable Munich beer hall energy. The staff were friendly and efficient even during the busy hours. Highly recommend this place if you want to experience real Bavarian beer culture and hearty food right in the city center.

We were shown to a table yesterday after a short wait. The food was very tasty, the portions were ample, and the service was very friendly. The cleanliness of the restrooms wasn't great. What shocked us, and apparently other guests as well, was the arrival of a fraternity who seemed to have a reservation upstairs. (They were all clearly wearing their distinctive headwear.) I don't even want to know what they were celebrating before Kristallnacht (November 9th). I find it shocking that they let such people into the establishment!

A truly fantastic Bavarian restaurant. We ate here twice. Last time, I had the goulash soup as a starter. It was absolutely delicious. Wonderfully seasoned, incredibly tender beef—perfect for me. It couldn't be better. For my main course, I had the daily special: veal with mushroom sauce. The sauce and the mushrooms were superb. The meat was okay, but there was room for improvement. My companions had roast pork with sauerkraut and spicy meat strips with bread dumplings. I thought both dishes were very good, and everyone enjoyed them. The additional photos show dishes from last year. They had the Josefi Schnitzel, and quite honestly, it was the best schnitzel I've ever eaten. It was so good that I absolutely wanted to come back. Unfortunately, it seems it was a dish that could be replaced. To finish, we naturally had Kaiserschmarrn. I've had better, though. It's okay, but it's made in a baking pan, which is evident from the shape. Then it's reheated later, and as a result, the outer walls of the pieces caramelize too much. So, only mediocre. The beer here, however, is very tasty, as you'd expect from a good brewery. The server is incredibly friendly and always smiling, even though she was serving at least 15 tables with 50 guests at once. She left a really good tip. That was truly top-notch work from the lovely lady. The ambiance is exactly what you'd expect in Bavaria. Rustic, with slightly darker wood, quaint, and quite lively, as all the guests are drinking beer and enjoying their food. For me, that's Bavaria at its finest. In conclusion: even though there's one or two things that could be improved, I think this place is fantastic. The food is usually excellent, the beer is always great, and on top of that, there's a wonderful atmosphere and first-class service. Everyone should definitely check it out; it's absolutely worth it...

Delicious food and good beer! Worth a visit.

I can only say good things about the food: we came here to try a typical Munich breakfast and found it very tasty and lived up to expectations. It was our first time in Munich, so I have no basis for comparison, but everything was undoubtedly very good. But let's get to the thing that left us with a bitter taste in our mouths: when it came time to get the bill, the waitress put the card in front of us with the explicit request for a tip. Where we come from, tipping is something unusual: we often round up the change, but it's absolutely not required. And I say this as someone who has always worked in the restaurant and in customer service, and who has always strived to be as polite as possible (not to get a tip, but because it's part of my personality and the job for which I'm already paid by my employer). Well, we're a bit taken aback by this explicit request: in our country, it would be considered rude, but I can understand that in other countries it's the norm. I should point out that it was our first time in Munich, and we weren't aware of this custom. We opted for the "no tip" button: we were there for a very short time, and our interaction with the waitress was limited to ordering and bringing us our food. At that point, the waitress became truly rude to us, so much so that I was left feeling distraught the entire day. I would have preferred if she had kindly explained that it's customary there to leave a tip: it would have seemed strange and out of line with our habits, but I would have done it. Or she could have politely asked if there was anything that could be improved, if she had interpreted that gesture as a "punishment" for her work. Instead, the (false) kindness she had shown up to that point quickly turned mean. We stood up mortified, certain that we won't be returning.

What an amazing experience. We not only were treated with great, friendly service, as well as first rate Bavarian food. On Sunday the Bavarian music and singing was the highlight of our afternoon.

If you want loud, German, fest-style food, this is the place. We have had different dishes here for different occasions. All good, not excellent. If you want to have a conversation, this is not the place. If you are hosting a large group wanting to experience Bavarian cuisine, this is a great place.

The service was terrible. We called the waitress five times, but she walked right past us and ignored us. The food arrived after a minute. That is to say, it wasn't prepared, just reheated. We were in Munich for a short trip at the beginning of September and ate at the Weisses Bräuhaus twice because the food was so delicious. The service was very friendly and attentive, and despite the outdoor seating area being full, we received our food without a long wait. The bread dumpling with creamy mushroom sauce, the pork knuckle, the roast pork, and the baked apple fritters were all excellent, just as you would expect good Bavarian cuisine to be. They also had a great selection of beers. Highly recommended all around!
