We're always extremely satisfied; we've tried many dishes and have never been disappointed. The service was friendly and very attentive. We'd be happy to come back.

Perfect place for a morning pint. We came here for a few wheat beers and a white sausage breakfast. Anyone who's tried Schneider's Weisse knows what to expect in terms of flavor. The white sausages were truly delicious, and they came with fresh pretzels. The atmosphere is lovely, just like you'd expect from a brewery. Unfortunately, the service was a bit poor; we sat there for 15 minutes with our empty beers and no one came to serve us.

We had a wonderful Saturday morning. Weisswurst and wheat beer. Absolutely fantastic. The food here is always very good. We look forward to coming back. Please keep up the good work. See you soon!!!!!!

Tradition meets modernity! A wonderful inn with a fantastic atmosphere. It was my first time at the Weisses Bräuhaus in the valley—and I was absolutely thrilled. Hats off to the makers! I'll definitely be back...

The ambiance and the main courses are highly recommended. Unfortunately, we're used to better desserts from our Austrian vacation. The Kaiserschmarrn still has a lot of room for improvement; the caramelization made it completely sticky and far too sweet. But that's a matter of taste, of course.

The waitress took a photo of us without asking when we wanted to step outside for a quick smoke. When asked about it, she said that many people just leave without paying, hence the photo. Absolutely no-go.

We were just there, and the pressed sausage, meatballs, and grated potato dumplings were delicious. The service seemed a bit rushed, but the waitresses were very friendly, and the food didn't take long to arrive. Highly recommended!

We always come here when we visit Munich. Excellent service from Mrs. Markthaler, but terrible and shameful from the employee Julia, who today treated us violently and aggressively, snatching the napkins from my husband's hand. This is the second time she's behaved this way toward us. It happened a few months ago when we were checking out. They shouldn't have employees who treat customers this way. It's unacceptable, and we won't be returning.

A true Munich original! Schneider Weisse is absolutely worth a visit – and not just for wheat beer lovers! The beer is first-class, especially the original TAP7, a true classic with plenty of character. The atmosphere is rustic and cozy, typically Bavarian, and the service was very friendly and attentive despite the packed place. The food was also excellent – ​​the white sausage was cooked to perfection, and the bread was fresh and crispy. If you're looking for an authentic Munich experience, this is the place to be. A definite recommendation!

Fantastic food! The pork is prepared similarly to chicharrón, so it's crispy and juicy, and the beer sauce is delicious. We also had cheese noodles (käsenudeln), and the potatoes were prepared like dumplings. It was a memorable meal, and my biggest disappointment is not going back soon enough to eat more. Thank you!

Schneider Weisse – Weißes Bräuhaus im Tal 🍽️🍺 A lovely stop in the heart of Munich – ideal if you only have a short time! Friendly and quick service, very attentive even when the place is full. The menu is traditional Bavarian and is complemented by a seasonal selection – in the photo: Bavarian sausage salad and pork medallions with spaetzle – both delicious! They also served a cold lemonade – just what you need in summer. One small downside: Unfortunately, there's no non-alcoholic 0.0% beer on the menu. In summary: Solid Bavarian cuisine, fast service, good location – recommended for a stopover!

Sonia is the best bartender ever, she deserves the world, 5 stars for her. The food is very expensive and not so good. It would be nicer with music. I would not recommend for those people who dont like children screaming in the restaurant. Its better to go a bit later and have only beer than going for dinner

The food was good, but the service was really terrible. There were three of us at the Weisses Bräuhaus on Saturday evening. The place is beautifully decorated, the food was okay too – but the service was a real bummer. Two meals arrived quite quickly, but the third took 40 minutes. We sat there and couldn't eat together – our plates were, of course, already cold. And while we waited, the waitress – a sturdy, blonde woman – was smoking outside. Whether it was the kitchen's fault or hers, I can't say. Unfortunately, I don't have the receipt, otherwise I would have written her name on it. When we were paying, she pointed out to us that tips weren't included in the bill and that we could have added 10, 15, or 20%. I find that really cheeky – tips should be voluntary, depending on how the evening went. It's a shame, because the restaurant itself is really nice.

I came here because of the reviews, and I was dissapointed... The waitress who was not wearing the Bavarian outfit, first ignored me, refusing to prepare my table. I brushed it off thinking it is busy. She then proceeded to yell to guests who called her "Geduld!" (patience!) In German), which made some of them leave. I don't think I was the only one bothered by it. As for the kitchen, I don't recommend the steak tartare, there are better places in Munich to have it. But the duck looked good

Despite the central location, the food is really good, and the prices are still absolutely fair. Lots of locals. Better than most other breweries in the city center.

In my opinion, the best brewery in Munich. The food is absolutely delicious, and the beer is by far the best in Munich. Excellent service and very friendly staff, always there when you need something. Unfortunately, you don't experience that in all breweries. Schneider's Bräuhaus is simply perfect and highly recommended. Because it was so delicious, we went there every day of our stay. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

Four of us went there for dinner – unfortunately, it was disappointing. Two schnitzels: dry, slightly burnt, and barely edible. The knuckle of pork was tough as rubber, the roast pork was cold with dry gravy and dumplings. The "house bread" was rock hard – edible perhaps only for the mice that roamed around there. They probably had the most fun with it that evening. The only good thing: the beer – excellent, as always.

The steak didn't have any taste no salt no pepper the pulled pork hamburger was very salty the salad sauce took over the taste of the salad ! Recommendation:AVOID!

This place sucks. Their food is absolutely garbage except the bread and sausage, and their "meat loaf" is just a chunk of fried spam. The "crispy" pork is more like "stone" pork, the crust is so hard that it took multiple tries with a knife just to break it. The staff were very unfriendly, and the tables were so dirty that the floor might be cleaner. I would give this place zero stars if it was possible. Overall, this place is trash, trash, and trash.

Unfortunately, a single employee ruined our entire experience. She was unfriendly from the start. When someone at the next table ordered a non-alcoholic drink, she even said he was in the wrong place for it, but then brought him one anyway. We wanted to save time by ordering drinks and food directly, but we weren't allowed to. The spaetzle on my sauerbraten weren't cold, but they weren't warm either, so that's overlooked. I don't know exactly what it was, but there was something under the vegetables that didn't belong there (apart from general vegetables with sauerbraten and spaetzle), and so every sixth bite tasted like a McDonald's cheeseburger. As a Swabian, I don't know if that's what's intended in Bavaria; I didn't like it very much. The sauerbraten itself, however, was very tasty and extremely tender! When I asked if she could pack up the rest after she took the plates from the table without asking, she rolled her eyes. The ambiance, however, is 5 out of 5 stars, exactly as it should be. There's a quieter area in the back. I'm 100% sure it would have been a better experience with a different server. I actually wanted to go to the Hofbräuhaus, but a companion preferred somewhere less crowded. Oh well, you learn from your mistakes.

Once top-notch – now unfortunately disappointing. For years, we were always very satisfied with this Bavarian restaurant in Munich – good food, friendly service, and a pleasant atmosphere. But on our last visit, things had unfortunately changed completely. The staff were unfriendly, and we felt more brushed off than welcomed. Particularly disappointing: the roast pork came in a mini portion – but the prices were significantly higher than before and no longer in proportion to the quality. The sauerbraten was almost cold! It's a shame how things have turned out. That's not how you win back regulars. We're disappointed and won't be coming back for the time being.

A solid restaurant in Munich, but one that caters more to tourists than to locals. The prices are a bit high, in my opinion, and the food is nothing special. The interior is beautifully decorated in Bavarian style, but it's very loud and the staff is very stressed. There are far better restaurants in Munich where you get more quality for your money.

Super cool traditional inn in the heart of Munich! The weekly specials are always very varied, and you can try everything. The white sausage Maultaschen were especially delicious!

We went here this evening for a meal as it looked nice .. it’s on the main strip and was lively .. we were really disappointed.. especially disappointed with the service. The waitress was very grumpy and appalling service. We were never asked was everything nice or did we enjoy our meal etc. she had a very grumpy hostile rude persona. She banged the plates on the table and walked off . Never checked back. Never said thank you. We still tipped (only 5%) but really felt we shouldn’t have tipped. She never thanked us for a tip she didn’t deserve. Everyone can have a bad day but manners don’t cost anything.. food was average at best we left most of it .. Would not return.

We went there for the first time yesterday. The service seemed overwhelmed and not particularly friendly. The food was expensive and the quality wasn't even average. The soup was cold. The kids' burger was poorly prepared. The kids' schnitzel was dry. The game plate was also dry and cold. The beer and ambiance were okay. It's a real shame, as I really appreciate the beer. Update: I apologize, it was my wife's hunter's plate. However, the name doesn't change the quality. Apparently, I also just imagined the burger from the kids' menu. Regardless, the kids' food wasn't good. That's roughly in line with some of the very poor reviews.

I love this place. Mostly because of the Weisse bier, but also the food is usually very good. Today I sat outside on the terrace with a friend for a few beers. The lady who served us was very friendly and I can highly recommend this venue.

The customer service is very poor. A fly flew into my beer (3/4 full) and drowned but they were not willing to replace my beer for me (whatever I had left in my glass). In the end, I had to still pay the full amount of money.

Went there for a white sausage breakfast. The white sausages were okay, but not outstanding. The sweet mustard was also good. The pretzels were rather dry and not that tasty. The value for money was okay.

Eighteen euros for four ready-made Maultaschen from the freezer and a bit of arugula. A tourist rip-off. Edit: If they were handmade, then fine. But then I'm really sorry, they were very dry.

I ate a knuckle of pork that was a bit too dry in places. The taste was a bit better in Pfronten. The atmosphere was great. Restrooms not quite as good.

The food could have more flavor. Otherwise, a great place. Wooden benches and chairs without cushions, not suitable for long periods of sitting.

Authentic Bavarian food—and a bit more sophisticated than other restaurants in Munich. I particularly like the changing daily specials with seasonal dishes. Tripe, brain, and tongue are also on the menu. Suitable for large groups, often even without reservations. The only criticism: The large room is very noisy. Tip: Ask for a seat upstairs in the dining room.

Wiener Schnitzel is not recommended. It tastes of old fat, a lot of breading, and tough meat. The potato salad is also very mushy.

So, I don't know what happened to that lovely brewery? Wait to be seated, why is that? A long line stretching out into the street, packed with people with reservations and those without, all in the narrow entrance area. Ordering beer and food at the same time... no, drinks first... what an announcement. Then the food, cheese spaetzle, hmmm, convenience food through and through, salad had to be ordered separately, of course. He talked to me all night long; the cabbage must not have been the freshest. It's a shame, I've always loved coming here, for at least 40 years, but I think that's over now.

MICE CAME AROUND THE TABLES! STAY AWAY! Health bomb! as soon as we finished our meal and were chatting I noticed not 1 but 5 mice running around the place! No one cared! We got up and left immediately and on our way out we saw mice on our plates eating the leftovers! I used to think it was a great restaurant but I wouldn't recommend it to my enemy anymore!

May2025 After arriving in Munich, I headed there with my suitcase. Weisswurst and beer, the best hospitality to start the day! Sep2023 I visited before 11am looking for Weisswurst. The terrace was pretty full. It's fun to be able to drink beer even from lunchtime in Germany! I ordered two Weisswurst each. They were hot, fluffy, soft and delicious! The sweet mustard went well with them. The ham was also delicious, so the beer went down well. It's a restaurant I'd like to visit again.

1 Star – Unfortunately, Not What It Used To Be We've been out and about in Munich a lot in the last few days, as we had friends from the US visiting. Naturally, we wanted to show them the Weiße Bräuhaus – a place we used to really appreciate. But what we experienced this morning was truly disappointing. A few weeks ago, we were curious and visited the new branch in Kelheim – we were also very disappointed there and had already shared our impressions in a review. Back then, we thought it was an isolated incident. But after today's experience, we have to say: Unfortunately, the Weiße Bräuhaus is no longer what it used to be. The service this time was disastrous. The situation was particularly unpleasant when the waitress actively and directly asked for a tip – arguing that her salary depended on it. You might be used to something like that in the US, but in Germany – and certainly not in a traditional establishment like this – it's completely unacceptable. We find this kind of begging disrespectful and unprofessional. We're truly sad about how this once wonderful place has turned out. Two negative experiences in such a short time are enough for us – this was definitely our last visit to the Weisses Bräuhaus.

A nice restaurant. We had a very nice pork knuckle for dinner. The dumplings and the sauce were delicious. The pork knuckle was quite crunchy. It wasn't soft enough, but the skin was nicely crispy.

One of my favorite places to go, just for the beer. The atmosphere is also great and in the heart of Munich. Food always come quickly after ordering and have always been impressed by the quality of food. Always a winner.

This was probably the worst service I’ve ever experienced in Munich. Living here since 10 years I’ve never seen anything like it. I was hosting a group of friends from Brazil and wanted them to try the nice Weizenbier variety they have there. Bad idea… The waitress was insanely impatient and disrespectful and kept asking us to choose another restaurant next time, because we were asking questions about the menu. When paying we needed to split the bill and she made sure to say we were fooling her and asked us to leave without giving tips. For someone working in such a touristic area she seemed very impolite and rude. I talked to her in German at all times to try to understand what was going on but she couldn’t bend and kept being arrogant and managed to make everyone on the table feel uncomfortable. Will never ever return. And absolutely never bring my guests ever again. We were a bunch of friendly Brazilian people interested in her Bavarian culture and she managed to destroy the last impression of hospitality since that was their last dinner after a week of great experiences. Basically, a shit show of service.

For an authentic Bavarian experience in Munich, Weisses Bräuhaus im Tal is good option. We got a table in about 5 minutes without a reservation, which was great. It's convenient to pay by card, and they even have an English menu. We did have to ask for cutlery, but it was quickly brought over. The atmosphere is crowded and lively. And yes, their Weissbier is good.

We had a room for 20 of us. Friendly and attentive service. We had appetizers (Obatzda, spreads, etc.), which were fresh and delicious. Unfortunately, the beer platter for the main course was sold out, but my roast pork was absolutely delicious. We'd be happy to come back with larger groups. The location is also great.

My partner and I enjoyed a perfect morning pint at the Weisses Bräuhaus last Sunday. Delicious white sausages, crispy pretzels, sweet mustard, and a tasty wheat beer... what more could you ask for with a Bavarian heart? The service was prompt yet warm and attentive, and we were well looked after. And when you add in authentic Bavarian folk music live and the traditional costumes gather at the regulars' table, then a Bavarian morning pint is perfect! The Weisses Bräuhaus also stands for authentic Munich Kronfleisch cuisine and preparations you don't often find anywhere else! We would love to come back on our next visit to Munich!
