Sehr schöner Ausflugsort. Zum Wandern, Radfahren und Wassersport geeignet. Das Restaurant ist urig eingerichtet. Nettes Servicepersonal. An den Speisen müsste noch nachgebessert werden. Schnitzel dünner klopfen, Soße zur Wurst war geschmacklos. Senf hätte genügt. Vielleicht bisschen mehr leichte Küche anbieten. Das wäre optimal.

Location ist ok, aber alles andere ist extrem schwach. Das Essen kann man für den Preis absolut vergessen. Service ist unter aller S.. Nie wieder !!!

Angenehmer Ort , Erbsensuppe mit Bockwurst für 9 € und auf dem Plaste Teller serviert ist viel zu teuer

Hallo, der Standort dieser Lokalität ist einmalig. Wasser, Wald in unmittelbarer Nähe. Aber... Der Kiosk, zur Gaststätte kann ich nichts sagen!, Der Kiosk ist unterirdisch. Die Dame in der Küche wirbelt wie verrückt, macht den Service am Tresen aber nicht besser. Die Tresenkraft am Ausschank sollte sich einen neuen Job suchen, wenn ich nicht mal nach dem Angebot fragen darf. Auf eurer Tafel vor den Kiosk könnt ihr statt "Kiosk" auch das Angebot draufschreiben, dann gibt es keine doofen Fragen. Auch eure Speisekarte könntet ihr so auslegen, dass ich mich nicht erst am Tresen duchfragen muss. Und ja, ich habe ne dreiviertel Stunde für gefühlte 10 Kunden gewartet und mich nicht beschwert. Aber nachdem ich mich für Currywurst und Pommes entschieden habe, und die Qualität und Ausführung letztendlich unter aller S... war, kommt hier und heute mein Kommentar dazu. Was kann man an Pommes falsch machen? Die waren nicht mal lauwarm. Die Currywurst ist ihr Name nicht wert. Ich weiß auch hier nicht, was ihr da gemacht habt. Das waren irgendwelche Gummidinger in kalter alter Gewürzsoße. Am Ende habe ich dafür, es gab euch noch einen Kuchen mit Schlagsahne, der sehr zu empfehlen ist, also am Ende dafür fast 17€ bezahlt?! Also mein Fazit: Standort super, Essen ist nicht empfehlenwert, Service: eine einzelne Person kann alles runter reißen, nicht tragbar. Ich komme bestimmt wieder und werde mich gern eines besseren belehren lassen.

Wir waren zum Essen dort. Super freundlich umd zuvorkommend bedient. Nicht zu penetrant, genau richtig. Teller waren vorgewärmt, Essen frisch und Geschmack ein Genuss. Ich werde es weiterempfehlen und wir kommen jetzt öfter.

Super süßes Restaurant etwas abseits... Super freundliches Personal. Karte übersichtlich und gute Preise... Empfehlenswert 👌 Hatte Heidesuppe und selbstgemachte Nuggets mit Pommes. Super lecker.

Die Schnitzel sind ok, der Schwarzwildteller eine kulinarische Überraschung, sehr gut und lecker. Der selbstgemachte Kuchen wird warm serviert, toll 👍.

Ein sehr schön gelegenes familiär geführtes Gasthaus in der Rostocker Heide mit rustikalen und gemütlichen Gastraum, das Essen ist hervorragend. Im Sommer lädt draußen die Terrasse sowie der Imbis mit schönen Sitzgelegenheiten zum Verweilen ein. In der Umgebung kann mal spazieren gehen, Fahrrad fahren oder auch mal zum Wasser schauen. Wir kommen immer wieder gern hierher.

Wir waren an Weihnachten mit einer großen Gruppe zum Weihnachtsbuffet in der Schnattermann Gaststätte und leider insgesamt sehr enttäuscht. Für einen Preis von 55 € pro Person hatten wir deutlich mehr erwartet. Das Buffet war geschmacklich extrem schwach – vieles wirkte, als wäre es kaum oder gar nicht gewürzt. Besonders enttäuschend war, dass auf der Buffetkarte Scholle angekündigt wurde, auf die sich viele von uns gefreut hatten, diese jedoch gar nicht serviert wurde. Die Soßen waren durchweg sehr wässrig und nahezu geschmacklos. Die Ente war zwar auf den Punkt gegart, hatte aber ebenfalls kaum Geschmack. Die Putenkeule war leider ungenießbar. Insgesamt entsprach die Qualität des Essens in keiner Weise dem aufgerufenen Preis. Zusätzlich kam ein bestelltes Getränk erst nach über einer Stunde, was bei einem Weihnachtsbuffet mit vielen Gästen absolut nicht akzeptabel ist. Alles in allem war das Weihnachtsbuffet für uns eine große Enttäuschung. Wir können das Weihnachtsbuffet hier leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

Schönes kleines Ausflugs Lokal was selbst zu Weihnachten ein tolles Buffet hatte. Es war alles sehr fein. Es werden sonst kleine Feiern und Hochzeit auf diesem Gelände ausgerichtet. Die normale Karte ist gut sortiert so das jeder was findet. Die neuen Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und gehen auf Ernährung Probleme ein. Es ist ein Besuch wert!

Wir waren heute zum Mittagessen im Lokal. Sehr uriges Ambiente, tolle, nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Trotz eingeschränkter Speisekarte bekamen wir ein hervorragendes Mittagessen. Linseneintopf mit Wildknacker, frisches Brot und Schmalz. Klasse. Gerne wieder. LG Torsten und Sandy.

Ein wirklich schönes Lokal - liebevoll und im Detail mit Geschmack eingerichtet. Die wilde Heidesuppe ist die Spezialität des Hauses und absolut lecker.

Wir waren vor zwei Wochen im Restaurant zum Geburtstagsessen. Der rustikale Stil der Einrichtung ist einladend und gemütlich. Der junge Mann im Service war stets höflich und bemüht, allerdings fehlte etwas der Überblick. Von zwei gleichen Vorspeisen (Suppe) wurde eine nach ca. 45 Minuten gebracht, die zweite noch später auf Nachfrage. Die Suppe sah vielversprechend aus, hielt dies geschmacklich aber nicht. Auf die Hauptspeisen haben wir dann insgesamt 1,5 Stunden gewartet! Wahrscheinlich standen die Teller schon längere Zeit in der Küche, denn das Essen war nur noch lauwarm. Einzig das Fleisch vom Wildschmorbraten war etwas wärmer und schmeckte auch gut. Zudem fehlte bei einem Preis von 25 - 30 € bei jedem Essen ein Salat bzw. wenigstens eine frische Garnitur auf dem Teller. Wir haben die Bedienung auf das abgekühlte Essen und die sehr lange Wartezeit hingewiesen mit der Bitte, wenigstens einen preislichen Nachlass zu erhalten. Die Antwort im Auftrag des Chefs war: ein Kaffee auf Kosten des Hauses. Den haben wir dankend abgelehnt, denn wer weiß wie lange dies gedauert hätte. Schade, der erste gute Eindruck konnte nicht bestätigt werden. Wir kommen so schnell nicht wieder.

Wir haben spontan in Familie einen Ausflug in den Waldgarten unternommen- eine wunderschöne Naturoase. Die Krönung aber war das hervorragende Mahl im Schnatermannrestaurant- alles war sehr ansprechend angerichtet und hochwertig zubereitet. Der Wildschmorbraten war oberlecker. Lieben Dank an das Team - es war ein rundum gelungener Tag

Yes...but the garden area is huge, not the schnitzel...

The Schnattermann is a very nice restaurant with beautiful grounds and many options. The owners are still finding their feet. Last year, I loved the little musical performances and the snacks. This year, when I was there, there was "upscale dining" and a self-service bar next door, which was a shame. I preferred the casual setting.

A lovely day trip for the whole family... Pure nature. The food was delicious, but we waited over an hour to finally get our food. Unfortunately, they don't offer children's meals, so we had to get a meal for our son for €18.50 (pasta bolognaise).

The restaurant's garden is quite pleasant, if you stick to drinks. The self-service area, which families with children usually use for a break during a hike, is wildly overpriced. For example, a bland schnitzel with fries costs €16.50, and pasta Bolognese is also in the same price range. Drinks for two adults and two children will set you back €80. Who wants to spend that on a quick stop? Why aren't there any inexpensive options—grilled bratwurst or a Bockwurst/Wiener with bread? The small play area is rather uninspired and unimaginatively designed. However, the surrounding area is wonderful for hiking, and the beach area on the Warnow River is ideal for families with small children thanks to the shallow water.

The cozy atmosphere has unfortunately been put to an end by the closure of the outdoor kitchen. However, the restaurant has reopened (we'll see for how long). Prices, especially in the self-service area, have risen considerably. It's a shame. I can't comment on the hotel.

Highly recommended, this idyllic spot where you'll find everything you need for both small and large appetites. Self-service is the order of the day, but that's perfectly acceptable, as the quality of the food is crucial, and it is 👍. The outdoor area is beautifully decorated and well-maintained. Plenty of comfortable seating in a large space (including on the lawn) practically invites you to take a break. We stopped here on our way from the "FGS Schnaterman" because we were curious about the restaurant, and we weren't disappointed; in fact, we were very pleasantly surprised. We'll definitely return here when we get the chance.

We went on a bike ride to Schnatermann today. The place is so beautiful and cozy. But then we ate pea soup for €8.50, the price was outrageous. It was a large plate, but there was very little. Then I asked if they had Bockwurst. The lady replied rudely and annoyed that they didn't have any. The portion of fries, €4, was soggy and unsalted. It couldn't be worse. Then we talked to another guest who said the pea soup was a joke. Experience the pea soup for yourself. Never again. Rude staff

A destination for all ages. Best to take the paddle steamer to the other side and enjoy. Good food, fair prices, and pure nature☀️

Wir sind sehr zufrieden gewesen. Wer hier Schlechtes schreibt führt einfach nur Böses im Schilde. Die Bedienung war genauso vorzüglich, wie die Speisen. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, sollte unbedingt dorthin fahren.

Unfortunately, I can't really rate the rooms, but I'm pretty sure they're nice and well-maintained. Incredibly friendly staff, delicious food, reasonable prices, kids can run around freely, there was live music, both indoor and outdoor restrooms were clean and tidy, and the location is, of course, fantastic. We cycled from Rostock, stopped briefly to refuel before continuing on to the Hohe Düne ferry and cycling back to Reutershagen via Warnemünde! A fantastic day trip!

We happened upon it by chance; we weren't hotel guests; we were just having a bite to eat. A secluded, idyllic spot with a large beer garden. Delicious homemade cakes and friendly staff.

We must have chosen the wrong day, Father's Day or Ascension Day, and we didn't enjoy it at all. It was loud and more like a drinking party. This place is definitely an oasis on other days when you want to enjoy the forest. We'd love to come back another time when the service is also on the ball and doesn't forget your drinks. 😅

Super quiet location on the water, except yesterday, Father's Day, when there were thousands of people out and about, many with bicycles

A wonderful place for excursions by boat, on foot, or by bike. They were closed, but after asking and a quick chat, coffee and cake were waiting for them. It was a dream. That's what hospitality is all about. We'll definitely be visiting again when they're open.

Great scenery,!!! But!!! The "Schnaterman" pub is a disaster. Completely overwhelmed and unqualified staff. The food is average, but the dishes and service are better if they were in-house. Avoid this place.

Location and surroundings beautiful! Unfortunately we were unlucky not to be served. Only when guests who came after us had already had their drinks did they pay attention to us when we asked. As a result, our food, which was good, came very late. Our ship from the pier at Schnatermann was gone. It's a real shame that it was like that.

Richtig uriger Gasthof mit romantischem Fachwerk-Ambiente. Ist innen samstags und sonntags von 11-18 Uhr geöffnet. Der Herbstbrenner hat super durchgewärmt. Das hausgemachte Essen ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet und schmeckte uns bis jetzt immer sehr gut. Wir kommen regelmäßig her. Es ist sehr familiär und ruhig. Am besten finde ich die Ecke mit Blick zum Kamin oder am Aquarium. Dass der Schnatermann jetzt außerhalb der Öffnungszeiten eingezäunt ist, ist mehr als verständlich, da dort privat gewohnt und gelebt wird und sich ein Stück Privatsphäre wünscht.

The Schnaterman. I am always speechless because of the way I was received there. Everyone is warm, cosmopolitan and tolerant. The food is very tasty and the prices are reasonable. Accommodation was very good. You have peace and quiet, a large forest that is a nature reserve right next to it. The grounds are spacious and well maintained. There are seating options everywhere and there are many trees on the property that provide shade. I didn't want to leave because the stay was relaxing and relaxing. Repeat factor: 100%

We went there with our 6th graders (40 children) for a week-long school trip. The children moved into the bungalows and enjoyed their privacy, as they also had a shower and toilet. The accommodation was very nice, fantastically equipped and comfortable for the children. The food provided was regional, healthy and very tasty! Both the teachers and children traveling with us enjoyed it really well. The organizers also responded to all of the children's wishes regarding food. Due to the location close to nature, the paddle steamer that departs right next door and the wonderful connection to Warnemünde or Markgrafenheide, the location offered us the opportunity to easily make a climbing park, beach, boat rental and shopping in Warnemünde possible for the children. In addition to the generally quiet and beautiful design with lots of play options, the Schnatermann team also organized an incredible disco atmosphere on the last evening: our children danced for 4 hours with lights and smoke machines and celebrated their school trip. All in all: a huge thank you to the team and a clear recommendation to make this the goal of the next school trip!

Beautiful place, quiet location, very warm and familiar atmosphere... Worth a trip for every age group. And the food is super delicious! I love the Schnatermann :)

Traditionsgasthof mit langer Geschichte. Unsere Eltern waren dort. Später Wir alle zusammen mit unseren Kindern. Viele schöne Erinnerungen. Heute alles eingezäunt.. bewacht von Kampfhunden,die alles auf 4 Beinen dass vorbei geht mit Drohgebärden begleitet. Kein Sitzen unf schwelgen in Erinnerungen mehr möglich. Wieder eine Tradition mit Füssen getreten.

A small, fine, rural overnight stay is possible in the house. In a calm neighborhood. Clean, smartly furnished rooms. Right on the lake, for swimming, your own nice swimming area. Boat dock, horses And dogs are very welcome. Perfect

For half a herring and 4 old jacket potatoes, €10 is too much.

Table reservations are only possible for groups of 50 or more. Despite prior written communication, the information about payment in cash only came on site. Since we were a birthday group of around 16 people, the shock and disillusionment was great. Only self-service, you should also know that for possible celebrations. The food on offer was good, the cake was sold very quickly due to the large number of guests, it was baked later, but this takes time. The staff was generally friendly, but there was a lack of sensitivity here and there.

Everything should be new and better... and then they announce a spring festival on "Men's Day" starting with Mother's Day. But logistically completely overwhelmed. Waiting in line forever to get something to eat or drink is not possible. 50 meter long queue at the grill and there is no progress. This is no way to convince guests to come back!

This place is known to all Rostock citizens since childhood. A place to visit with history. It's nice that it's like this again. You can relax here in a cozy atmosphere. Whether in a friendly atmosphere, for a cool drink or a snack, everything is possible at Schnaterman.

It was a warm destination. Steamer only drives when you register. Founded terrain. Restaurant still closed. Too bad, it used to be very nice, with animals, playgrounds and hiking trail.

Schöne Gegend. Nah am Wasser. Essen und Getränke sehen sehr gut aus. Konnte leider nicht getestet werden, weil nur Barzahlung möglich war. Antwort war, dass es keine Verbindung gibt...mein Handy funktioniert doch auch super...

Wir haben während einer Radtour im Biergarten vom Schnattermann Rast gemacht und wurden gut versorgt. Das Hotel ist leider geschlossen. Schade, dass das Hafenfelände so eingezäunt ist...
