Schlossschänke Kaibitz in Kemnath

On a Monday evening, it's sometimes not so easy to find a restaurant open that serves local cuisine. A quick Google search led us to the Schlossschänke Kaibitz. We received a friendly welcome, and on the landlady's recommendation, we opted for the Sauerbraten with dumplings and red cabbage, and the Cordon Bleu with fries, cucumber salad, and carrots. An excellent choice, as it turned out. The Sauerbraten fell apart on your fork, and you always felt like you wanted to scoop up a little more sauce with the dumpling. The Cordon Bleu was homemade, and the fries were delicious and crispy. Both portions should satisfy even the most hungry guests, and at a perfectly fair price. A real recommendation from us.

The Schloßschänke Kalbitz is a wonderful destination and a fantastic restaurant. The warm Eibisch family and their super friendly team are fantastic hosts. We always love coming back. Great food and excellent service are always guaranteed. Best wishes from Fichtelberg

A beautiful location. Both inside and out. The staff and the landlady were very friendly, had a good sense of humor, and were really quick on their feet. I had the pleasure of playing music for a wedding and received excellent support from the staff. The food was lovingly served and tasted delicious. I'd love to come again if I'm in the area. Fantastic ambiance. Staff were on the same level, very courteous and helpful. And the food, good, home-style cooking, was simply a dream. Highly recommended!

Martina and her team provided us with a dream wedding celebration in June 2019. The food and service were top-notch! We love coming back and have never been disappointed. Today we were with the Eibisch family again, and it was amazing again. Top quality, service, and ambiance.

Unfortunately it has been closed for a long time. Is not up-to-date!

Very nice landlady, very nice staff, good food. The long journey from Schleswig was worth it.

Only opened occasionally and irregularly.

We had a successful, wonderful birthday party. First upstairs in the knight's hall and later downstairs in the bar/lounge area. Both the delicious food and the perfect service combined with our cheerful guests made the party what it was - simply great!

Super Lokation für Feiern jeder Art sehr zuvorkommendes absolut nettes Personal und Betreiber. Immer wieder gerne. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Kenne die Location nur durch ein geschlossene Firmenveranstaltung und da lief es wie am Schnürchen. Schön schattige Plätze im Garten.

Es ist ein sehr schöner Restaurant mit sehr freundlichen Mitarbeitern und das Essen schmeckt echt super. Komme immer wieder gerne vorbei.

Wir sind immer dort, wenn es etwas zu feiern gibt. Wegen Corona haben wir das Essen zur Selbstabholung bestellt. Gutes Essen, nette Menschen und alles zu zivilen Preisen. Was will man mehr.

Des war ja mal super lecker! Haben zum abholen einfach nen Topf mitgebracht aber transportbehälter gibts von denen auch!! Alle super nett und es essen schmeckt auch klasse!!!

Lediglich aus praktischen Gründen wurde der Name noch nicht an die neue Rechtschreibung angepasst (Schlossschenke Keibitz).

Das Ambiente ist sehr schön...zum Essen ist es nach meinem Geschmack nicht zu empfehlen 🤷🏻‍♀️
