Schloss-Grill in Nürnberg

The food was very good. The pork medallions with fries and mushroom cream sauce were very, very good. The meat was perfectly cooked and juicy. The mushrooms with sauce were flavorful. The fries were legendary. The restaurant is like a cafeteria where you get food on a tray and then pay at the cash register. The selection of food and drinks is varied, with hot main courses, cakes and tarts, salads, and desserts.

Unfortunately, the food was disappointing this time. The salad was almost inedible – bitter and very coarsely chopped. The chicken was dry, and the portion was significantly smaller than before (only three small pieces). It seems the chef has changed, because the quality used to be much better.

A very well-kept pub where I would have happily given it 6 stars. The service is outstanding, simply unique.

Super delicious and, above all, affordable food. Highly recommended is the roast duck in mango sauce.

The food was very good and the staff very friendly, beautiful view of St. Sebald.
