were passing through and made a short stop in Schwerin. Discovered the restaurant by chance. When the weather was pleasant, we chose a spot on the terrace. Everything modern and very nice and cozy. Makes a well-kept impression. Service was very attentive and we immediately brought water for our dog. Menu very extensive. Everyone will find something here. We were very satisfied with the drinks and food, but also with the service. If we are in Schwerin again, this restaurant will be one of our favorites.

We had to wait forever for our food. The quality of the food was mediocre and the price was not appropriate.

Unfortunately, the food came to the table almost cold, no one came to ask if it tasted good until it was supposed to be cleared away. Zero spices on the food and no salt and pepper on the outside terrace, the coffee offered didn't cut it. We were on their terrace on September 23rd, 2024.

The lunch menu looked promising at a reasonable price, so we took a seat at the table on the large, shady terrace. The waitress seemed overwhelmed and was difficult to understand. After ordering, wait, wait and wait. At other tables with 4 or more people, the food didn't come at the same time!! We got our food after 40 minutes. Then the waitress disappeared. The children's plate was not worth the money. The pasta was floating in the pasta water and the sauce was borderline bad. Both of our meals were not seasoned. The fried potatoes looked fried and tasted of nothing. We then looked for a waiter, paid and forewent a tip.

At first glance, the Herzogliche Dampfwascherei restaurant, hidden within venerable walls, promises more than it can deliver. The charm of the place cannot disguise the fact that the wine list desperately needs a good dose of common sense. The descriptions of the wines were so puzzling that it was only after the third attempt that I had something in my glass that didn't want to send my palate flying. Well, the chef must have conjured up a true work of art from burrata, melon and tomatoes - an appetizer that tasted excellent with its simplicity and freshness. But when the main courses arrived, I wondered what had happened in the kitchen in the meantime. They were by no means what one would expect after such a start. However, one thing has to be said about the restaurant: the service was so excellent that I was almost tempted to overlook all of the restaurant's shortcomings. But unfortunately a smile cannot improve the taste of the wine or enhance the main course.

We spontaneously went here in the evening while on vacation and unfortunately we didn't like it at all. The service was okay, the food not good. Lukewarm and unloving. The fries came with ketchup and mayo from packets. My pasta dish with spinach was sandy, which I also addressed. A short apology followed, that was it. The website suggests fine dining, which we cannot confirm. There is definitely more appearance than reality here.

Despite the Mercedes SL Cabrio Club's restaurant being full, there was a place for us. Service was very attentive and friendly despite the stress.

Food was okay, but not specifically changed for Christmas brunch - more like always in winter - we were here in November/December before, so we can judge it roughly. Unfortunately there is no disabled toilet - unfortunately this is no longer possible these days. We were here again and were definitely positively surprised, everything was perfect, super friendly and accommodating and everything was also set up for my mother in a wheelchair, thank you.

We ate in the garden area and so the ambience wasn't quite as nice as inside the restaurant. The service was excellent, very friendly and on point. The food was good so far, but unfortunately the bacon-wrapped pork fillets were no longer a delicate pink and were cooked a little too long. The rabbit was very small but tasty. The Wienerschnitzel had a little too much breading and unfortunately the fries were no longer crispy. The portions are rather clear and clearly laid out over several courses. Overall we were happy but not any more.

Ich bestellte das Steak raw, erklärte auf Deutsch: „blutig“ und kriegte dann ein sehniges Stück, das vollkommen durchgegart war. Der Weinkühler lärmte den ganzen Abend wie eine Dampfmaschine. Dazu lief belanglose Ambient-Music. Schade, denn Lage und Location würden sich für echt gute Gastronomie eignen. Positiv: grosse, kostenlose Parkplätze für Gäste. Trotzdem: Wir raten von einem Besuch ab.

The cook can't do anything. Ingredients appear to be from Aldi. Grill plate with roast beef that was tough. The rest dry. The fries were swimming in yesterday's gravy. The cucumber salad should get negative stars. Cucumber slices with salt and water. A little sugar. No trace of vinegar or oil or taste. How can you go wrong with cucumber salad? Operation complete disaster. First of all we would just be on your first name. Already cheeky. One lady always talked her way out of it. The next one always looked at me suggestively and touched my shoulder as if I was her buddy. But the crowning glory is the foreign specialist. He didn't know a word of German and what water with gas was, so he didn't know what sparkling water was. Worst restaurant ever. It's better to have a bockwurst at a gas station instead of paying the entire staff for trying it. And of course, in every bad recession, they come up with an answer instead of sending their staff on training.

The two of us were there on a Friday evening. We had to wait a terribly long time for drinks and food, even though the place was almost empty. The taste of the food was very good, I can't say anything about that, but unfortunately it came lukewarm. There wasn't the wine that I chose from the menu and there wasn't the side dish that was on the menu either. The service lady wasn't very polite, there was no smile when we arrived and politely asked for a table and the same lady didn't even look up when I walked past her and said goodbye. Unfortunately no experience there. We definitely won't be visiting again.

The service staff was extremely hard-working and attentive and yet not intrusive! The food was delicious and luckily the portions weren't too big.

After visiting the website we decided to stop in and have lunch. Unfortunately the fries were undercooked and unseasoned. According to my information to the waitress, there were new fries on the same plate, which were fine. Unfortunately, all four meals were only delivered lukewarm. The grill plate we ordered was very clear in terms of quantity. Eating something sensibly on the plate with some side dishes would be better...the eye eats too. Taste was okay. Ambiance is very good. Price-performance should be better.

Was there today. Called at lunchtime and booked a table. Nothing should be a problem. After waiting 20 minutes for service, I ordered drinks and food on site. After another 20 minutes the starter and drinks were served. That's it. After 60 minutes of waiting, we asked nicely. We should get some information shortly. After another 20 minutes we went to the bar and asked for the bill. In fact, they wanted €27.80 for drinks and a starter, even though they simply forgot the main course. I pay with a 50 euro and get €22.00 back. When I look at her, she asks me what else is going on. Then I calculated it briefly. In short, this company has no place in the catering industry. I can only warn and advise against a visit.

We were there after a funeral service. We had a separate room upstairs. The restaurant is very nice! The waitress was very excited and spoke very quietly, but was still super nice and regularly asked if everything was OK! There were sandwiches and goulash soup. The rolls were great, but the goulash soup was unfortunately too salty. The cake platter arrived late when everyone was already full and was arranged a little differently! We are all fed up. I can't say anything about the dishes on the menu. But prices are okay. If we're in the area again, we'd love to come by again.

Unfortunately, we were neither greeted warmly nor were their brunch concept properly explained to us. They charged us incorrectly there and a thermos flask of filter coffee costs 16 (!) € there. We won't be going there again and can't recommend it at all...unfortunately!

Waited 20 minutes for a service, the food that ended up on the plate had nothing to do with the pictures. We ordered veal schnitzel with fries and a cream sauce with fresh wild mushrooms. We waited 1.30 hours for the food and the vegan food was out of a can and almost cold. Not recommendable. I still had to go to Fries Ude and get something to eat.

We were there for brunch. Simply amazing.

The reception, if you want to call it that, was sparse. Quickly asked about a reservation, we answered yes and were then sullenly shown to a table that wasn't set. Although the restaurant was not well attended, we were given the cat table in the immediate vicinity of the toilet and cloakroom... We then lit the candle ourselves. Cards were briefly passed over the barrier in the aisle; it was probably too much for the service to make their way to our table. Oh well. We were determined to have a nice evening. The waiter in tattered jeans and a sweater brought us the drinks and then glasses... Starters, salmon rose on potato rosti, boringly presented and no taste, not worth the price at all. If this creation was homemade, it should be removed from the menu. You can do the same thing better at home with frozen food and packaged salmon. The carpaccio I had was ok, but tasted bland, and I had to order extra olive oil and spice mills. My LG's Wiener Schnitzel was just poorly made and presented. Breading soggy and gray, French fries and mushrooms with sauce on the side. No garnish, no serving, nothing. The icing on the cake was a sachet of mayo and a sachet of ketchup and a slice of lemon that looked like it had survived several plates…. We laughed a lot - gallows humor made the evening wonderful for us, and we couldn't resist asking the waiter that we didn't think of the saying that adorned the wall at the beginning: “Experience unforgettable moments in the steam laundry!” understood the threat. We would have liked to have been informed about this when we entered. After our question as to whether the chef was new was answered with “yes”, we quickly paid and left this restaurant as quickly as possible. Conclusion: You can run a restaurant like this, but don't be surprised if you don't even have 10% occupancy on a Saturday evening. We won't be coming back for a while. Shame about the money.

Ordered 3 starters. The first one came at a reasonable time. The other starters only 15MINUTES later. The colorful salad consisted only of a green lettuce leaf. The beef was rare instead of medium rare. So much went wrong. A pity. The ambience promises much more than the chef can deliver. I recommend a new chef!!

Sunday brunch is not worth the money. Only average quality of food, no signage about allergens, insufficient selection of vegetarian/vegan dishes. The friendliness of the staff alone saves the 2 stars.

Very, very good restaurant in Schwerin. We like to be here for lunch. But also family celebrations etc. soon to celebrate a 60th. The food is very good and the service is always friendly and nice.

The ambience is a nice location, the staff is attentive and friendly. Unfortunately we were still very disappointed. As soon as we entered we noticed an unpleasant smell, which intensified at our table. When I went to the toilets I realized where that smell was coming from. This smell intensified on the way to the toilets. We were also the only guests and yet it took an extremely long time until simple dishes like ice cream and apple strudel were brought to our table. The drinks, on the other hand, arrived quickly. Addendum related to your answers: I don't want to harp on it, but if it was the city sewer, why couldn't the smell be heard outside on the street? And yes, the toilets were clean. Maybe the odor traps in the toilet area were not OK!?!?

Best restaurant in Schwerin... With distance

Well, we were there today and I can understand the mixed reviews, first of all when we came in it was 16 degrees and the waitress supposedly turned on the heating. The final temperature was 17 degrees. So it didn't really get any warmer. All right, eating in a slightly colder place definitely strengthens your immune system. The ambience was okay. One waiter didn't know his own drinks menu because he said there was no decaffeinated coffee, but the female waiter brought it. The wine spritzer was completely forgotten and then we had to ask for it several times before it came. The food was okay, but that's about it and that for the prices, my food was too salty, the portions were more than manageable (where did you find your corn-fed chicken?), the cucumber salad tasted like nothing, the Swedish cup was the crowning glory , a scoop of ice cream (mind you, this is a sundae), the rest of the cup filled with applesauce and then whipped cream and I find that very cheeky. The cappuccino was just foam and a small puddle of drink. Schnitzel with fries €24!!!! and then my partner orders ketchup and mayo and these are also forgotten and the guest has to follow up again. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio here isn't right at all, but when I look at the operator's answers to the reviews, she seems to be completely resistant to advice. It's a very beautiful place, The food is of greater quality. The price is okay and neutral given today's conditions - the staff is very friendly. We had brunch, there was plenty of choice and the food tasted good. There's really nothing to say. However, I think that for brunch there should be a slightly larger selection and not even a lot of meat. Where we were there was only a fish platter and a game platter. For example, I was missing a smoked pork platter or... not much, just a selection more for those who eat a little less. Please don't misunderstand, there was a large and nice selection of the rest. We were there for the second time. We really enjoyed it again. Service staff always present, but not intrusive. Excellent 4 hour brunch. Enough of everything and tasty, and above all perfectly presented. The surrounding area invites you to take a walk by the lake. Playground for the little ones is also nearby. Schon sehr oft, vorzüglich mega lecker gegessen! Speisen kreativ und absolut schön fürs Auge angerichtet. Geschmacklich sehr gut, preislich völlig okay und Menge auch völlig ausreichend. Der einzige Wunsch wäre es, zwei drei weitere vegane Gerichte mit aufzunehmen! Schön sind die vielen jahreszeitlich inspirierten Gerichte!!!!

90. Geburtstag einer Dame, geladen 20 Gäste, darunter viele Senioren. Ein bis dahin fröhlich beschwingter Abend und dann kam das Katastrophenbuffet. Von dem Wenigen, was dort aufgetafelt wurde, war alles wohl gerade aufgetaut und matsch. Der Lachs sah roh aus und war mehr flüssig als fest. Fotos belegen das. Sogar das Brot war kalt, die Tomaten glasig und der Kartoffelsalat dazu gekauft. Dafür wurde die Pilzsuppe lauwarm und nur etwa bodenbedeckt im Topf hingestellt. So etwas wurde uns noch in keinem Restaurant geboten. Der Küchenchef wurde gerufen und sollte uns erklären, was auf den Tabletts angerichtet war. Wie peinlich. Auch fragte ich ihn, warum so wenig auf den Tischen angerichtet war. Er antwortete vor allen, die am Buffet standen, "wir sollten erst einmal aufessen, er hole dann noch was nach, es sei genug in der Küche." Unfassbar! Was geschah mit dem verbliebenen Anteil unseres Buffets in der Küche? Der Chefin erklärte er dann nach der Veranstaltung, er hätte eine Bratenplatte nachgestellt, die aber niemand von uns sah. Der Preis des Buffets 800,- Euro. Die Gäste waren beim Verzehr sehr zurückhaltend und der Großteil dieses "Buffets" ging natürlich zurück in die Küche. Die Rückerstattung eines Teilbetrages kam bis heute nicht zustande. Schade, wir waren immer gern zu Gast. 07.10.2023

Was war denn da los !?! Ich hatte mit meiner Abteilung Anfang Dezember in der Dampfwäscherei unser Weihnachtsessen. Das Essen war gut, die Portion zwar ziemlich klein, aber es hat den meisten wirklich geschmeckt. Der Gastraum war ordentlich und sauber. Das war es dann aber auch an positivem Feedback. Wir hatten vorab schon unsere Menüs gewählt, also brauchte sich der Service nur um Getränke kümmern. Es kamen weniger Personen als ursprünglich angekündigt, deshalb waren noch Gedecke übrig. Räumt man solche überflüssigen Gedecke und Gläser nicht mehr ab? Benutztes Geschirr wird auch nicht abgeräumt? Leere Gläser werden nicht abgeräumt? Fragt man nicht zwischendurch, ob alles in Ordnung ist?.... Leute, ihr hättet so viel Geld verdienen können, aber wenn niemand nach weiteren Getränkebestellungen fragt, dann geht das natürlich nicht. Bei einem Kollegen fehlte das Gratin, bzw. der Stampf... erst beim 4. !!! Mal nachfragen wurde es nachgeliefert. Und dann auch noch so frech. Keine Entschuldigung, nix. Es waren verschiedene Nationalitäten vertreten, doch eines sollte sie doch alle vereinen... guter Service! Denn das kann man schnell lernen...

Anreise von Berlin....wir hatten mehr erwartet. Personal überfordert, teilweise laut und Andrang wie auf einer Weihnachtsfeier (alle wieder raus zum Bus) Schade, bei der Historie. Das Essen war sehr gut, optisch wie geschmacklich.

Die Suppen und ein Hauptgericht versalzen . Reaktion der Küche: „Nein - ist nicht versalzen“. Das war’s. Für ein gutes Restaurant unangemessene Reaktion. Das Essen wurde trotzdem voll berechnet. Einmal und nie wieder. Keine Empfehlung.

Sehr aufmersames Personal, sehr schmackvolles Essen, wunderschönes Ambiente hergerichtet zum 75. Geburtstag meiner lieben Schwiegermutter. Vielen lieben Dank an das gesamte Team.

Wir waren am 19.11.23 eingeladen zum Brunch. Unsere Gastgeber hatte für 11:00 Uhr reserviert. Die Vorfreude war groß, die Enttäuschung nicht minder. Wir waren vor unserem Gastgeber da und es wurde uns gesagt, eine Reservierung läge nicht vor, man wies uns einen Tisch zu mir der Option Essen nach Karte. Es wurde schließlich die Reservierung doch bestätigt, aber Brunch war für uns nicht möglich. Die Speisen reichte wohl nicht aus. Wir ließen uns auf einen Kompromiss ein, wir feierten schließlich einen 70. Geburtstag. Es wurde uns eine Frühstücks- und Obstplatte gerichtet, Brötchen, Butter.... der Kaffee wurde erst nach mehrfachen Hinterfragen mit arger Verspätung gebracht. Insgesamt mußten wir bei Getränken mehrfach erinnern. Uns wurde für den Warmanteil die Wahl eines Gerichtes von der Karte empfohlen. Die gewählten Speisen waren schmackhaft. Aber wenn man sich auf das Probieren von Köstlichkeiten eines in den Medien hochgelobten Brunchbufets freut, hatte der Besuch einen bitteren Beigeschmack. Wir fühlten uns nicht willkommen. Schade eigentlich.

Wir haben heute einen leckeren Brunch erlebt . Es hat wirklich alles gestimmt. Vielfältige Auswahl an Speisen , super netter und aufmerksamer Service !!! 👍Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder 🍀

Auf den Punkt gebracht, Preis und Leistung stimmen hier überhaupt nicht. Das Essen war kalt, geschmacklich nicht gut und zum Glück wenig auf dem Teller. Mein Mann hatte Wildgulasch, was dort zwischen den Zähnen knirschte, möchten wir nicht wissen. Der Tisch war, trotz Reservierung, nicht eingedeckt. Sehr große Unprofessionalität. Fazit: NIE WIEDER!!!

War hier mit meinen Lieben zum Brunch. Ein sehr reichhaltiges Bufett.Kein Wunsch blieb offen.Ebenso war alles sehr toll dekoriert. Das warme Essen war ebenso sehr abwechslungsreich.Nur das Gemüse hätte mehr gewürzt sein können.Die Bohnen waren z.b. viel zu nüchtern&derRotkohl hätte etwas garer sein können. Die Eierpfannkuchen waren zu trocken & dieHerzoginnenkartoffeln zu papsig. Der Service war aber sehr gut&der Kaffee eine Sensation.Alle Süßspeisen ebenfalls. Immer wieder gerne. Ich war Mittags gegen 1330 dort. Das Ambiente ist hell und ganz ok. Leider wurde um diese Zeit schon für Abends eingedeckt, sodass es sehr ungemütlich wurde. Der Service hatte auch nur begrenzt Zeit für die wenigen Gäste. Abends mag das alles anders sein. Das Essen war hübsch dekoriert aber nicht außergewöhnlich.

Wenn man nur einen Cafe und Kuchen möchte, durfte man beim Eingang, Ausgang sitzen. Bei dem Wetter heute nicht schön. Die Suppe und der Kuchen, die Getränke lecker. Der Service grottenschlecht, wir hätten gerne nachgeordert, es kam nur keiner. Mit dem Bezahlen, hat gedauert, es kam keiner. Wir hätten ohne zu bezahlen gehen können, es hätte man nicht bemerkt. Wir kommen bestimmt nicht wieder

Sehr schönes Haus in Top-Lage am See mit vielversprechender Karte, aber auch ordentlichen Preisen. Wir waren mit einer Reisegruppe da und hatten nur eine Auswahl aus wenigen Gerichten, was auch ok ist um lange Wartezeiten zu vermeiden. Durchweg fanden ich und die Mehrheit meiner Mitreisenden das Essen zwar lecker, aber viel zu wenig! Die Kinderportion war genauso groß. Die Nudeln haben in eine Hand gepasst und glichen leider eher einer Vorspeise. Dadurch blieb noch Platz für Dessert, was allerdings über eine halbe Stunde auf sich warten ließ und dann unter Zeitdruck verschlungen werden musste (Thema Reisegruppe). Das Personal schien mir insgesamt etwas überfordert zu sein. 35 Personen und nur ein Kellner, der zudem noch schlecht deutsch verstand. Dementsprechend lange hat auch die Abrechnung gedauert. Hier ist eine bessere Einweisung bzw. Schulung des Personals dringend angeraten. Zusammenfassend muss ich leider sagen, dass ich mir beim nächsten Besuch in Schwerin vmtl. ein anderes Restaurant suchen würde, damit ich nicht eine Stunde später wieder hungrig ins nächste Bistro muss.

Wir waren am Sonntag bei Euch zum Brunch, früher waren wir gerne öfter bei Euch. Heute waren wir um 12:15 zum Reste Essen da, alles recht lieblos, alles recht sparsam, nicht sehr Anspruchsvoll, die Soljanka und Soße leer und ausgekocht, der Meerrettich am Fisch dunkelgrau, die Bohnen ohne Salz,....schade. Schaut Euch mal auf Eurer Homepage -Euer- Brunch- Buffet an. So kannten wir es von Euch. Wir werden wohl nicht mehr zu Euch kommen. Wir hatten den Eindruck es wäre ein anderes Haus, als das was wir kennen. Trotzdem alles Gute für Euch!!!

Essen wurde sehr schnell serviert, kaum das die Getränke da waren.

Die Speisekarte verspricht viel, das Essen hält wenig. Hokaido Schnitzel halb roh, Tagliatelle länger warm gehalten und oben schon etwas angetrocknet. Service ganz nett. Insgesamt viel zu teuer für die Qualität. Ambiente etwas ungemütlich und sehr hell.

Unsere Abendveranstaltung mit 60 Personen übertraf all unsere Erwartungen! Uns wurde ein sehr hochwertiges, vielfältiges Buffet mit zum Teil außergewöhnlichen Speisen geboten, dazu ein Top-Service! Großer Dank an Frau Messerschmidt und ihr großartiges Team… wir werden den Abend in der Dampfwäscherei in sehr guter Erinnerung behalten.

Wer in Schwerin etwas gehobenes Ambiente sucht, der ist hier gut aufgehoben. Die Küche ist gut und solide ohne allzu viel Schnickschnack. Preislich ist es in der Kategorie ok.

Vor Corona waren wir schon einmal in diesem Restaurant. Auch hier merkten wir den Personalmangel,der durch junge engagierte Asiaten versucht wurde,auszugleichen. Das asiatische Personal viel und in ganz Schwerin auf. So jung wie sie waren,konnten sie schon gut deutsch sprechen. Das Essen war und das ist Wichtigste,wie immer kulinarisch. Wenn wir wieder in Schwerin sind,kehren wir dort bestimmt wieder ein

Die beste Guacamole und hier hat es Holunder den es nicht überall hat. Und dann ist es auch noch einer der besten Holunder die ich je getrunken habe😍 bestes Restaurant ever.

Nicht zu empfehlen, am Blattsalat fehlte die Sauce, der Rotkohl im Sommer war versalzen, der Nackenbraten hart, den Kartoffeln fehlte ebenfalls die Sauce.

Kein wirklich schönes Erlebnis! Es fing schon beim Empfang an und setzte sich bei den Bestellungen fort. Zunächst nahm keiner der anwesenden Kellnerinnen eine Notitz von uns! Erst auf Nachfrage wurde uns Mitgeteilt, dass wir uns einen Platz suchen sollten! Die Getränkebestellung ging noch recht zügig! Die Essen konnte dann erst nach ca. 12-15 min erfolgen! Auch wurde ich bei der Bestellung nicht nach dem Gargrad gefragt. Gott sei dank wurden die beiden kleinen Stücke "medium" serviert! Geschmaklich und Fleischqualität ok aber kein Highlight! Im Großen und Ganzen, man(n) kann hier essen, aber dier Erwartungen, die durch die Preise geweckt wurden, sind bei weiten nicht erfüllt worden! Schaaade!

Meine Mutter hatte uns am 6. Mai 2023 zum Abendessen eingeladen. Die Tische waren niveauvoll eingedeckt. Das Restaurant war allerdings schon recht leer. (19:00h) Das Essen war nicht überragend aber in Ordnung. Der Service ebenso. Leider wurde ab 20:00 Uhr dermaßen laut und völlig rücksichtslos den Gästen gegenüber die Küche aufgeräumt, das Geschirr mit dem Besteck abgetrocknet, eingeräumt usw. Dies ging mehr aus eine Stunde. Sodass wir um 21:00 h fluchtartig das Restaurant verlassen haben. Schade, denn wir wollten mit meiner Mutter, die wir leider recht selten sehen ein netten Abend verbringen. Da hätten wir auch gleich in eine Kneipe gehen können, Unser Fazit: Wir werden hier nicht nochmals hingehen

Wir waren am 26.12.2022 dort zum Brunch. Und was soll ich sagen für einen Preis von über 35Euro pro Kopf nie wieder!!!! Als erstes wurden wir in einen völlig überfüllten Raum geführt wo es keinerlei Belüftung gab Corona ect. Lässt grüßen. Dann ging es los wir nahmen mit 10 Mann Platz und warteten ewig auf Servicepersonal um eventuell Getränke bestellen zu können. Als wie dieses dann getan hatten und auch unsere Getränke nach ca. 20min am Platz waren gingen wir zum Buffet. Am Buffet angekommen mussten wir als erstes feststellen das es keinerlei Zuordnungskarten mit Bezeichnungen gab. Raten war angesagt. Teller befüllt und zurück zum Platz. Zu den einzelnen Komponenten: Fleisch war wahrscheinlich Ente ließ sich leider schwer definieren da es sehr kleine trockene Stücke waren, so wie sie aussahen schmeckten Sie auch. Soße war eingefärbtes massiv übersalzenes Wasser! Wahrscheinlich um mehr Getränke zu bestellen wenn es denn Servicepersonal gegeben hätte. Gemüse war um 11Uhr bereits so zerkocht das es auf dem Teller zu Brei zerfiel. Das dort angebotene Kartoffelgratin war noch ROH und nicht genießbar. Als wir dann zwischenzeitlich mal einen Kellner treffen und Ihn baten abzuräumen tat er dieses zu Hälfte und war dann wieder weg so das wir unsere Teller auf einer Anrichte stapeln mussten. Zum Dessert leider waren dieses alles Fertigprodukte! Obstsalat ausm Eimer, Die Cremes waren Milch mit Pulver und dazu so schlecht verrührt das noch Restpulver auf dem Löffel waren. FAZIT: Von unseren 10Man waren alle sehr enttäuscht über so eine Qualität der Speisen für so einen stattlichen Preis, mal ganz vom fehlenden Service abgesehen. Am liebsten würde ich überall NULL Sterne geben. Für uns steht jedenfalls fest es war das letzte mal dort!!!!!!!!

Sehr schöne Ambiente , mehr Schein als Sein, burschikos-freundliches Personal, banales Essen, gelegentlich Dorfkneipematmosphäre Der Geschäftsführer am Empfang gab sich wichtig und ließ uns Gäste stehen, ohne uns eines Blickes zu würdigen, während er laut telefonierte und sich schließlich erbarmte mit barschem Ton einen Kellner herbei zu ordern. Wir wurden in dem noch leeren Lokal an einen knapp bemessenen 2 -Tisch geführt. Zur Speisekarte gab es keine Empfehlungen. Auf der Karte standen kaum nicht-alkoholische Getränke. Wir bekamen zwei Mal einen Gruß aus der Küche, das Schmalz war lecker, der Matjestartar langweilig. Zeitweilig wurde hinter uns am Tresen laut freundschaftlich mit Gästen geschnattert. Während uns anfangs von der offenen Tischseite serviert wurde, wurden wir nun kumpelhaft über eine Balustrade hinweg die Teller reichend abgefertigt. Die Gerichte, Maisgeflügel u. Ochsenbäckchen wurden schnell serviert und waren beide optisch völlig gleich bunt garniert. Das Essen war ordentlich auf gehobenem Kantinenniveau. Die Teller waren kaum vorgewärmt. Es wurde schnell abgeräumt, ohne uns zu fragen, ob es uns geschmeckt habe oder ob wir noch ein Dessert oder einen Kaffee möchten, wir blieben allein. Obgleich das Restaurant am frühen Abend kaum besucht war, behielt niemand vom Personal uns im Blick, so dass wir laut rufen mussten, um endlich bezahlen zu können. Zum WC führt ein langer, schmuckloser Gang. Das WC selbst war sauber, funktionell, wie in einer Badeanstalt- ein freudloser Ort.

Unsere Gruppe war zum Mittagessen angemeldet. Schnell waren einzelne Plätze auf der freundlichen Gartenterrasse unweit des gewaltigen Schlosses unter alten Bäumen und modernen Sonnenschirmen gefunden. Wir suchten unsere Gerichte aus der gut sortierten Tageskarte und wurden prompt bedient, der Service lief erstaunlich professionell und sicher. Auch die vielen diversen Getränke, die geordert wurden, waren schnell zur Stelle. Nur ein kleines Stück Butter, welches ein Gast nachbestellen wollte war nicht zu bekommen, dafür wurde aber ein Ersatz geboten. Trotzdem war dieser Aufenthalt, die guten Gerichte und der perfekte Service eine best gelungene Pause in unserem straffen Programm.

Die Kurzfassung: Essen gut, Preise ambitioniert, Service dem aufgerufenen Preis nicht angemessen. Lage in der Nähe des Schweriner Schlosses mit schönem Biergarten hat wohl zu etwas Überheblichkeit geführt. Wer sich an den Preisen und dem Service nicht stört, das Essen war gut und einfallsreich arrangiert....

War heute mit Familie zum Brunchen und bin enttäuscht.Das Frühstück war gut.Aber das Mittag nicht.Das Fleisch war hart, trocken und die Wärme fehlte dem Mittag.Ich war ja nicht zum ersten Mal dort,aber habe sonst immer alles gut befunden.Die Speisen waren nicht ausgeschildert.Bei der Nachspeise genauso.Hatte auf Fragen vom Personal dieses auch bemängelt.l

Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, die Gerichte waren ein Traum. Alles sehr lecker und gut zubereitet. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend und wenn wir wieder in Schwerin sind werden wir auf jeden Fall hier wieder einkehren.

Anlaß des Besuchs war eine Nachfeier zum Geburtstag. Plätze wurden vorab bestellt. Beim Eintreffen wurde ich sofort als Person fūr die betreffende Reservierung erkannt und mir wurde mitgeteilt, man hätte auf Grund des schönen Wetters sowohl drinnen als auch im Garten reserviert. Das fand Ich äussert aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Alle Gäste bestellten a la Carte und alle Speisen wurden zeitgleich angereicht, das ist zwar gastronomisches Soll, wird aber längst nicht überall praktiziert. Alle Gäste waren voll des Lobes und schwärmten über das schmackhafte Essen. Da freut man sich als Gastgeber natürlich extra und vor allem über die freundliche Bedienung. Preiswert ist dieses Restaurant nicht, aber das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt! Man gönnt sich ja sonst nichts!
