Oh yes, every time we head towards southern Germany we stop at Schlemmerei Kitzingen. WoW the food always has a poem, e.g. homemade spaetzle ✌️

We (8 adults & 5 children) went there for dinner on Christmas Day. The atmosphere is very appealing and the service is very courteous and friendly. If we wished, we were able to have the kids' food come a little earlier, which was very nice. The food for the adults also came promptly or at the same time so that we could all eat together. Everything was very tasty and, above all, served hot. Even if it looks inconspicuous from the outside, you should stop by for a good meal.

Wir haben für 8 Erwachsene, 1 siebenjähriges Kind und zwei Kleinkinder für ein Mittagessen reserviert. Auf die Wünsche nach glutenfreiem Angebot wurde ebenso freundlich wie fachkundig reagiert. Die angebotene Speisen haben keine Wünsche offen gelassen und ebenso gut schmeckten diese auch. Wir wurden bemerkenswert freundlich empfangen und bedient. Wir können das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen.

Very pleasant atmosphere, great and friendly service. Unfortunately, you don't always get the food you order the way you ordered it. Everything was very tasty, only the side dish was wrong and the steak (medium) was cooked through, see picture.

We made lunch reservations for 8 adults, 1 seven-year-old child and two small children. The requests for gluten-free options were responded to in a friendly and professional manner. The dishes on offer left nothing to be desired and tasted just as good. We were greeted and served in a remarkably friendly manner. We can only recommend the restaurant.

The food is really very good! The waiting time was very long, which was a bit of a shame because we were the second guests that day. The map is written very small and is quite confusing! I would change that. The prices are sometimes very high, which is okay for me, but wasn't okay for others. And one water was overcharged, which unfortunately we only noticed when we got home. Still worth a visit.

Wir sind durch den sogenannten Zufall auf dieses Restaurant gestoßen. Der erste Besuch war schon recht ordentlich, eine angenehme Atmosphäre, extrem freundliche Mitarbeiter, eine gute Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken, obwohl uns das Urfränkisch Dunkel überzeugt hat. Bedauerlicherweise ist es in NRW nicht zu beziehen. Wir fahren mittlerweile zweimal im Jahr nach Kitzingen um in der Schlemmerei eine schöne Zeit zu verbringen. Nice restaurant with nice service. The food is excellent we had steak with vegetables and goat cheese with pear chutney. Since I have to avoid carbohydrates, I asked for a change. No problem, I was immediately offered a salad or extra side vegetables, for example. Great!

anlässlich einer Städtereise besuchten wir das Restaurant Schlemmerei. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und genossen als Vorspeise gebackenen Ziegenkäse mit Salat auf Preiselbeeren. Als Hauptgang Spagetti mit Trüffel und Parmesan Sauce bzw. Bandnudeln mit Pfifferlingen und Rinderfiletspitzen. Begleitet von einem Glas Weißburgunder. Wir waren sehr zufrieden....

From the outside the restaurant looks quite inconspicuous, so we initially walked past it. When we decided to eat there we were very pleasantly surprised.

Last night we had dinner with our friends at Schlemmerei (reservation recommended). For example: Vitello tonato, saltim bocca of monkfish with vegetable tagliatelle and saffron foam, chanterelle cream soup and Wiener schnitzel with fried potatoes, attentive service, local wines. Everything was very tasty (the soup maybe a bit too thick) and actually too cheap for the quality. Great restaurant can definitely be recommended.

Had dinner today. The service was unobtrusive but very professional. The puberty's food requests were responded to quickly and flexibly, and the food came quickly. The chef knows how to cook rump steaks appropriately. The chanterelles were fresh and very aromatic! Gladly again!!!!! Value for money was great

Yesterday we were at the Schlemmerei restaurant for the first and not the last time. The name really applies here. Not only the dishes but also the courteous and extremely friendly staff/owner actually deserve more than 5 stars. You really feel comfortable here. There is a small, manageable menu with high-quality and excellent dishes. This restaurant is a must, reservation is recommended.

This restaurant has a great position in the centre of the historic town, very close to the bridge over the river. It's not a big place but has a lovely atmosphere with tables outside also. Staff are friendly, helpful and professional. The food was really delicious. Pfifferlinge (chanterelle mushrooms) were in season when we ate there and they made great use of them in a variety of dishes. My cod was perfectly cooked and was so tasty.

We went there for lunch on a Saturday by bike. The tagliatelle and the salmon fillet were simply top, I would even give this more than 5 stars. The currant and grape spritzers are also highly recommended. The absolutely great lunch was perfectly rounded off by the very friendly and personable staff. A very clear 5 star recommendation from me. If we come through here again, we will definitely go here again.

Das Lokal wurde gut bewertet, also nix wie hin. Und dann, die schönste Überraschung in ganz Kitzingen: eine feine Menu-Auswahl, sehr gute Küche und das gesamte Personal überragend. Hier sind leidenschaftliche Gastronomen am Werk, die einem den Abend zu etwas besonderen machen. Und weil es so schön war, sind wir am zweiten Abend noch mal hin. Reservierung dringend empfohlen, es lohnt sich.

Very tasty food, very courteous service and a pleasant atmosphere. We had tagliatelle with chanterelles, the famous salad with fillet tips and my son schnitzel. All very tasty. Special requests for dark cyclists were also fulfilled.

Absolut empfehlenswert! Wir hatten zwei Hauptspeisen. Ein Fleischgericht und ein Nudelgericht. Es war mit Abstand das beste was wir seit langer Zeit serviert bekommen haben! Wer auch immer dort in der Küche arbeitet, versteht sein Handwerk!!! Auch von den Gerichten mal eine etwas andere kreative Auswahl! Weiter so, besser geht es nicht.

The food we had was outstanding, the best we had in a long time. Everything was tasty. The chicken was tender and juicy accompanied by roasted vegetables and an oven potatoes. Even the small salad was delightful and surprisingly fresh and tasty. The pasta dish was another highlight. We highly recommend this restaurant. You better reserve a table ahead of time as this restaurant is very popular.

Very inconspicuous small restaurant with a terrace in the pedestrian zone. I caught my attention because of the unusual dishes on display. And the gut feeling was right. Very good quality of food, very friendly staff and, above all, a very good price-performance ratio that has become rare. Absolutely recommended and a pearl in the catering industry. The food is excellent. There is a weekly menu and a fixed menu. Not that big but everyone should find something there. Everything was very fresh. The service was very good...but unfortunately we didn't get our main course until about 45 minutes after the starter. Definitely not common...so it doesn't matter too much. To be on the safe side, always reserve.

A really great restaurant with a small menu of selected starters, main courses and desserts, but always very tasty food. There is also a day ticket. The service is very good and very friendly. Standing with your motorhome on the parking space in Kitzingen and looking for a delicious restaurant on Google Maps. After we decided on “Schlemmerei Kitzingen”, all I can say in retrospect is that it was exactly the right choice. We were warmly served, every wish was fulfilled and the food was excellent. Super lecker Essen und Wein. Wir sind nach einer Wanderung hier zufällig vorbeigekommen. Eigentlich wollten wir nur was trinken. Die Karte war ansprechend, so haben wir was zum Essen bestellt.
