Schlemmerei Kitzingen in Kitzingen

I've just been back. It's the best place for me in Kitzingen. I'd happily go back anytime. I'm already looking forward to the next visit and will continue to tuck into the menu.

We were here a week ago with our daughter, who has celiac disease. The staff went to incredible lengths and were very knowledgeable about this topic. Our daughter was served a completely gluten-free meal, including her beloved fries, for the first time in a long time, and she tolerated everything wonderfully, for which we were very grateful. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed it very much! Even our special requests were fulfilled immediately. We discovered the restaurant on Tripadvisor and chose it because it was close to the highway, we were passing through, and because it had such good reviews. We'd be happy to go back.

We had delicious tagliatelle with beef tenderloin tips and chanterelle mushrooms in a cream sauce for under €20 a portion from the "daily special." There were plenty of chanterelle mushrooms and beef in the portion, and, a rare occurrence, we had a taste sensation on our tongues. What looked like pieces of tomatoes must have been pickled; in any case, it was very tasty, and a large portion, too.

We were here for lunch. Firstly, there's no menu... but there's a blackboard in front of the snack bar. That was the end of the service. Zero service... We could have... well... The noodles weren't exactly delicious... for one thing, they were very underseasoned and also sticky and dry. One meal went straight back to the kitchen. Otherwise, it would have been nice if everything had been perfect.

Unfortunately, it was worse than expected! The sea bream was salmon with potatoes, not tagliatelle and vegetables. Veal strips with canned mushrooms and fried spaetzle. The dumplings were pan-fried, and the veal strips were very dry. I don't think we'll eat there again!

Ganz tolle Küche mit einer Speisekarte, die genau die richtige Größe hat. Saison abhängige Tagesgerichte, momentan mit Spargel. Wir haben den Saibling mit Spargel sowie den Salat mit Rinderfilet spitzen gegessen. Fantastisch! Sehr freundliches Personal und eine außerordentlich liebenswerter Inhaberin.

Oh yes, every time we head towards southern Germany we stop at Schlemmerei Kitzingen. WoW the food always has a poem, e.g. homemade spaetzle ✌️

We (8 adults & 5 children) went there for dinner on Christmas Day. The atmosphere is very appealing and the service is very courteous and friendly. If we wished, we were able to have the kids' food come a little earlier, which was very nice. The food for the adults also came promptly or at the same time so that we could all eat together. Everything was very tasty and, above all, served hot. Even if it looks inconspicuous from the outside, you should stop by for a good meal.

Die angebotene Speisen haben keine Wünsche offen gelassen und ebenso gut schmeckten diese auch. Wir wurden bemerkenswert freundlich empfangen und bedient. Wir können das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen.

Very pleasant atmosphere, great and friendly service. Unfortunately, you don't always get the food you order the way you ordered it. Everything was very tasty, only the side dish was wrong and the steak (medium) was cooked through, see picture.

We made lunch reservations for 8 adults, 1 seven-year-old child and two small children. The requests for gluten-free options were responded to in a friendly and professional manner. The dishes on offer left nothing to be desired and tasted just as good. We were greeted and served in a remarkably friendly manner. We can only recommend the restaurant.

The food is really very good! The waiting time was very long, which was a bit of a shame because we were the second guests that day. The map is written very small and is quite confusing! I would change that. The prices are sometimes very high, which is okay for me, but wasn't okay for others. And one water was overcharged, which unfortunately we only noticed when we got home. Still worth a visit.

Wir sind durch den sogenannten Zufall auf dieses Restaurant gestoßen. Der erste Besuch war schon recht ordentlich, eine angenehme Atmosphäre, extrem freundliche Mitarbeiter, eine gute Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken, obwohl uns das Urfränkisch Dunkel überzeugt hat. Bedauerlicherweise ist es in NRW nicht zu beziehen. Wir fahren mittlerweile zweimal im Jahr nach Kitzingen um in der Schlemmerei eine schöne Zeit zu verbringen. anlässlich einer Städtereise besuchten wir das Restaurant Schlemmerei. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und genossen als Vorspeise gebackenen Ziegenkäse mit Salat auf Preiselbeeren. Als Hauptgang Spagetti mit Trüffel und Parmesan Sauce bzw. Bandnudeln mit Pfifferlingen und Rinderfiletspitzen. Begleitet von einem Glas Weißburgunder. Wir waren sehr zufrieden....

From the outside the restaurant looks quite inconspicuous, so we initially walked past it. When we decided to eat there we were very pleasantly surprised.

Had dinner today. The service was unobtrusive but very professional. The puberty's food requests were responded to quickly and flexibly, and the food came quickly. The chef knows how to cook rump steaks appropriately. The chanterelles were fresh and very aromatic! Gladly again!!!!! Value for money was great

Last night we had dinner with our friends at Schlemmerei (reservation recommended). For example: Vitello tonato, saltim bocca of monkfish with vegetable tagliatelle and saffron foam, chanterelle cream soup and Wiener schnitzel with fried potatoes, attentive service, local wines. Everything was very tasty (the soup maybe a bit too thick) and actually too cheap for the quality. Great restaurant can definitely be recommended.

Yesterday we were at the Schlemmerei restaurant for the first and not the last time. The name really applies here. Not only the dishes but also the courteous and extremely friendly staff/owner actually deserve more than 5 stars. You really feel comfortable here. There is a small, manageable menu with high-quality and excellent dishes. This restaurant is a must, reservation is recommended.

We went there for lunch on a Saturday by bike. The tagliatelle and the salmon fillet were simply top, I would even give this more than 5 stars. The currant and grape spritzers are also highly recommended. The absolutely great lunch was perfectly rounded off by the very friendly and personable staff. A very clear 5 star recommendation from me. If we come through here again, we will definitely go here again.

This restaurant has a great position in the centre of the historic town, very close to the bridge over the river. It's not a big place but has a lovely atmosphere with tables outside also. Staff are friendly, helpful and professional. The food was really delicious. Pfifferlinge (chanterelle mushrooms) were in season when we ate there and they made great use of them in a variety of dishes. My cod was perfectly cooked and was so tasty.

Das Lokal wurde gut bewertet, also nix wie hin. Und dann, die schönste Überraschung in ganz Kitzingen: eine feine Menu-Auswahl, sehr gute Küche und das gesamte Personal überragend. Hier sind leidenschaftliche Gastronomen am Werk, die einem den Abend zu etwas besonderen machen. Und weil es so schön war, sind wir am zweiten Abend noch mal hin. Reservierung dringend empfohlen, es lohnt sich.
