I went to dinner with my siblings for my birthday because the food and drinks were great. The staff was attentive and funny.

For us the best restaurant with Bavarian cuisine in the area. Loving and tasty dishes, a very varied daily menu and an overall familiar, friendly atmosphere. --- The only drawback: Unfortunately, there are no longer any pork schnitzels for adults on the menu.

Tired from the journey back from vacation, we were able to eat a crispy roast pork here late at night, which was simply delicious. Everything is consistent and of very good quality. Repeat factor... again and again.

Very cozy atmosphere! Regional dishes, Bavarian menu and everything is really delicious! Added to this are friendly staff and reasonable prices. A reservation is highly recommended because the restaurant is always busy. Which speaks for the very good quality.

Essen war okay. Aber der Service ging mal garnicht!!!! 1. Ein Hemd in passender Größe, wär zu empfehlen. 2. Sorgt man dafür, dass ein Besteck und Servietten vorhanden sind. Ein Krug mit 3 Messern ????? Sonst nix!!!! 3. Besteck selbst organisiert, beim abräumen moniert (außerdem hat Besteck gefehlt), darauf der Kommentar, Das hoffe ich! WIR wurden nicht danach gefragt ob es geschmeckt hat! Also garnicht zugehört was wir gesagt haben. 4. Beim vorbeigehen des Servicmitarbeiter haben wir gesagt wir möchten zahlen....... sofort stehen geblieben und das abzuräumende Brett mit Resten drauf, von einem anderem Tisch bei uns abgestellt und abkassiert. Da vergeht einem alles!!! Da mag man auch kein 2tes Getränk bestellen. War MAL guter Service!

Food was okay. But the service wasn't working at all!!!! 1. A shirt of a suitable size would be recommended. 2. Make sure that cutlery and napkins are available. A jug with 3 knives ????? Nothing else!!!! 3. Organized the cutlery myself, complained about it when clearing it up (also the cutlery was missing), followed by the comment, *I hope so!* WE weren't asked whether it was tasty! So you didn't even listen to what we said. 4. When the service employee passed by, we said we would like to pay....... we immediately stopped and put the board that was to be cleared away with leftovers on it from another table near *us* and collected it. Everything goes away!!! You don't want to order a second drink either.

We were there in a large group. Everyone actually enjoyed the food, but I've certainly eaten better and seen larger portions, so there's no top rating here. Cordon Bleu was tasty, but as I said, it could be better. Side dish of potato salad was okay, but not enough... Kaiserschmarrn was too dry for me! Again, the portion was too small for the price. Unfortunately, some drinks weren't cold. Unfortunately service has deteriorated compared to last year... Toilets are clean and look high quality, just like the rest of the ambience. You feel very comfortable there.

Have been there for dinner several times. Service and ambience good as always. Unfortunately the food didn't reach the usual standard. Dumpling variation was bland and the wild sow was partly boiled hard.

Very good food with a very good service! The price/performance ratio is very good! The Kaiserschmarrn was a bit much for dessert, but very, very tasty! There's a bit of wood in the restaurant, but that's part of Bavaria.

At a conference in Munich we didn't feel like going to the evening program there and the three of us stopped at Schinken-Peter. Great restaurant(s), nice Bavarian ambience. It also has a great menu and we had a really great meal here. Pretzel soup and venison goulash with bread dumplings and cranberries and red cabbage, fillet pancakes with cheese spaetzle, baked potatoes with garnish. So delicious. And of course tasty beer too! Excellent price-performance ratio! A real reason to come back to Munich quickly. Definitely on nice warm days, because the beer garden also looks great. The food wasn't that good considering the price, it was just okay. The beer garden has a nice atmosphere outside and the team is really quick, helpful and friendly.

Beautiful garden and outdoor terrace, friendly and helpful staff who tried to speak Croatian. The breaded meat and side dishes were delicious, but the spetzle were unsalted and tasteless, a shame because I was looking forward to them the most.

2022: Price/performance: 9/10 Taste: 9/10 Ambiance: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Veggie: 9/10 Update (2023): we were here again and this time we sat inside. We love the store. For 15 people everything went very quickly with a full house, we were always served quickly and the food came quickly and was again super tasty. Recommended: the Kaiserschmarren, awesome! Here again a year later (2024): We are still thrilled. Everything fine.

I am writting this as I am still here, for the second night. This place is amazing. Great food (loved the Nurnberg sausages, the Wiener Schnitzel and the Kaiser desert, the Cordon Bleu). Everything is just perfect. The promot and kind servicea, the food, the beer. Great atmosphere and great staff. 10 stars for the cook.

Top Bavarian cuisine and the terrace is really great!

The staff was super friendly. They spoke English and even though they didn't have an English menu they walked us through all the best options. The Cordon Blue was amazing. Even the simple Roast Pork was amazing. Can't recommend this place enough.

Food and dessert were bomb. I have never experienced such confident, funny and friendly service. Price-performance is extremely good. The atmosphere was nice and we were particularly impressed by the menus. Even with a full restaurant, the wait was pretty short. Gladly again!

Looking for a place near our hotel after a long day of sightseeing. Found this little gem and our party of 5 set out for dinner and beer. When we arrived, an extremely nice man greeted us and after some small talk, took us to our table. Since we ate Americans and the menu is in German, he explained some of the dishes we told him we liked. Talk about going above and beyond, he did just that! Our nice waitress took our orders. Beer quickly arrived. The place has grey beer by the way.. Food was fabulous. I had schnitzel w mushrooms, hubby had the pork and potato dumplings. We both could have licked the plate clean! My friend had a salad on a board. The salad was almost too pretty to eat! 2 more of my friends had the chicken cordon blue and both sai how yummy their dishes tasted! When we were ready to pay, I couldn't believe how reasonable the bill was! I wish we had a place like this in the states! It would definitely be one of my favorites!

Spaetzle was cold, service was unfriendly and listless, Spezi tasted like Cola mixed with Fanta but the restaurant was nice

What a fantastic neighbourhood place. Big, yet so warm and personal. We are visiting München for two days and ate here both nights. Great food, cozy atmosphere, serving staff is so warm.

Actually, the four of us wanted to have dinner, have a drink and then have sheep's heads (and continue drinking). The beer was cold, the pork knuckle crust was crisp, then the bad news hit us: even if we were children, we would be forbidden from carting. The website untruthfully claims: "Bavarian tavern culture is at home with us!" Next time I'll stick myself to the beer garden chair with my leather pants and spruce resin.

The service is slow and the food is slow, but the atmosphere is great and the people are friendly. The special pig's feet are a good deal, although the skin is not crispy.

Hello! Last night we made a reservation at 21:30. We got a table outside and the guy at the table beside us started smoking and we got all the smoke while eating. We told the waitress and asked her to change table and she told us that this is normal in Germany. She knew the people at that table and she even sat there for a while and she smoked with them. We couldn’t believe it. When we asked to get some dessert the waitress told us that the kitchen was already closed. I think she could have informed us about that. The place is really nice and so is the food althought a little expensive to be outside the touristic area.

If you want to visit a wonderful, family-friendly Munich beer garden, then you've come to the right place. Food and drink are top at reasonable prices. Very nice and careful service. We both felt at the ham Peter!

We were visiting there as a group of 7 from the Dortmund area. It was very nice service and very good food. The princess had a great way of dealing with her guests. Keep it up, we'll be happy to come back on our next stay in Munich!

We reserved a table for 6 people for our 80th birthday on June 30, 2024. First of all, on the positive side: the table was nicely set, the service was okay and friendly. 3 out of 6 meals were subpar. The so-called Wiener Schnitzel of veal (29€) was a disgrace. The schnitzel didn't even deserve to be called a Viennese schnitzel! The breading was burnt and stuck to the meat. It seemed as if the schnitzel had been waiting to be picked up for quite some time. In addition, the meat was never veal because it was dark like beef. We complained about it, then a new one came along. Meat was still dark, flaxy and the breading was gritty and falling off the meat. This schnitzel was also returned! - the schnitzel was later not taken into account in the bill. But she also went home hungry. The Böfflamott from the daily menu consisted of flaxy meat and the two hard bread dumplings were completely over-salted. In the case of the salad with chicken breast, the salad was fresh but the chicken partly consisted of small, stale pieces of meat. It's a shame that the birthday was such a disappointment in terms of taste... We definitely won't be coming back.

Leider kann ich diesen Besuch nicht gut bewerten, waren am Wochenende abend 17 Uhr dort , essen und trinken, war zwar schnell da aber... das Getränke Radler usw war viel zu warm und das essen Schweinebraten war zu kalt. Der kellner fragte wie es den war, nach dem ich sagte warmes Getränk und kaltes essen, meinte er nur ihm hätte es geschmeckt, tja Getränke und essen fast alles stehen gelassen, er fand es nicht nötig näher darauf einzugehen und ich zahlte den vollen Betrag und ging. Wenn ich nochmal knapp 45 € übrig habe, geh ich bestimmt nicht mehr zum schinkenpeter.

Nach unserer Anreise nach München verspürten wir am Nachmittag Hunger. In der Nähe unseres Hotels fanden wir diese Gastwirtschaft, die auch nachmittags geöffnet hat. Wir bekamen traditionelle bayrische Küche und ein leckeres Bier im Tonkrug. Das Essen war gut, nicht außergewöhnlich, ich würde es als „münchner Standart“ bezeichnen. Der Service war nett und freundlich. Wir mussten nicht lange warten und man kam auf öfter vorbei. Aber es war auch am frühen Nachmittag nicht voll. Das Ambiente war gemütlich bayrisch. Bei schönem Wetter wären wir gerne im Biergarten gewesen.

I celebrated my birthday there. For anyone who wants to do this, be sure to let us know in advance, there will be a surprise! I had the roast pork. It was sensational, but was unfortunately surpassed by the unbelievable fillet pancake. Both were really a poem, but the Pfandl was better than the roast pork. Although he was really very good! The mixed dessert “Bavarian Heaven” was the last straw for the taste buds. Seldom eaten so well at such a price. Finally, I would like to thank our wonderful service. We were always served promptly, there was no rush and everything was served with kindness and honesty. Absolute recommendation and I look forward to my next visit. P.S. The bottle of house sparkling wine is really worth it!

Ci siamo affidati alle buone recensioni trovate su Google e siamo andati a cena in questo ristorante. Siamo stati accolti da una signora gentile che ci ha fatto accomodare...ma.subito dopo inizia l'odissea, ci attende una cameriera ordiniamo da bere e ci porta sola l'acqua per i bimbi, vediamo che attende gli alti tavoli e chiediamo dove sono le nostre birre. Ci dice che è finita. Rimaniamo pietrificati.Dopo 10 minuti arrivano i piatti per noi adulti e per i bambini chiediamo un piatto vuoto per poter condividere quanto ordinato. Alla terza sollecitazione finalmente arriva il piatto per i bimbi e a sorpresa vediamo passare vassoi con delle birre ci passa davanti e procede dritta. Alziamo la mano e diciamo sono le nostre, la signora quasi scocciata si gira e ci pone le birre. Stupidi e delusi da questo trattamento paghiamo e c'è ne andiamo. Ho lavorato per anni nella ristorazione e il rispetto devo essere reciproco. Ovviamente non abbiamo lasciato la mancia, la maleducazione di questa signora è stata inspiegabile e ingiustificabile

We relied on the good reviews found on Google and went to this restaurant for dinner. We were greeted by a kind lady who made us sit... but immediately afterwards the odyssey begins, we order a drink and she brings us water for the children but not our beers. We wait for the dishes to arrive (very good) and remind her about the drinks. She informs us that the beer is finished. We remain petrified. We ask for an extra plate for the children and at the third request the plate finally arrives. After a while, to our great surprise, we see the other waiters pass by and also the lady who was waiting for us with trays full of beers passes in front of us and proceeds straight ahead. Let's raise our hands and say: they are ours! The lady, almost annoyed, turns around and hands us the beers. Stupid and disappointed by this treatment, we pay and leave. I have worked in the restaurant industry for years and respect must be mutual. Obviously we didn't leave a tip, this lady's rudeness was inexplicable and unjustifiable

Very good food, super friendly service - even when dealing with children. The beer garden has a very nice atmosphere and the quiet location, despite the bus stop right in front of the front door, is a welcome change in the urban climate of Munich.

Unfortunately I can't give a better rating. Dinner in a larger group clearly exceeded the capabilities of this restaurant. Dishes served irregularly, portions incomplete, unfinished. Food quality very average.

Very nice beer garden. The service was very attentive and friendly. I chose the beer coach goulash. The beer was really delicious. The food itself was very good, but the portion was very small. A piece of meat hidden under the scrambled eggs, with two bread dumplings and sauce. Unfortunately no side salad or anything similar. I expected more here.
