After several visits we have reached rock bottom today. So far, the dishes have always been halfway okay and you could enjoy the delicious beers despite the mediocre service. Not so today: the dishes (steak plate, fried fish and children's fries/nuggets) were all barely edible. The fat will most likely not have been fresh. H&S also praises the fried fish as hoppy (beer batter?) and fresh of the day. None of that came true. The fish and side dishes were most likely convenience products. Unfortunately, it was also very dirty around our table. If H&S openly communicated that they were a gastro system with a convenience food offering because they focused on the beers, I would be fine with that. But the menu reads as if they value using good products and cooking fresh. That wasn't the case today.

I was there last time with our married couple and ordered #255 - Steak Salad. I've had this dish twice before. Both times before, the strips of grilled roast beef were borderline tempered. But this time the roast beef strips were definitely too cold. I let the entire dish go back and made it clear that I didn't want to eat anything else that evening. I only stayed at the table until our group was ready to leave. After paying, I expressed my negative experiences from the evening to the “most experienced” waiter. Instead of apologizing for the kitchen mishap, he blamed me for not giving them a second chance. I made it clear that I simply had no appetite afterward. I will no longer list his replies. However, I wonder to what extent they informed the kitchen and management about my complaint. Because I believe we all make mistakes at some point. The art is to learn from it. Which in my case I doubt.

I bought a kebab here again for a long time. I ordered a large (half) one and paid €8 for it. CONCLUSION: Homemade bread that was easily 3 days old - warmed up briefly and therefore neither crispy nor tasty. It was tough. The meat had a standard taste, but was unfortunately completely free of grilled taste. The sauce was tasty, but unfortunately there wasn't enough, so the kebab was dry overall and had no trace of juiciness. The vegetables were fresh. The portion size was not appropriate for €8 - little meat, little sauce. No kebab shop that picks you up positively. There are plenty of better ones. SORRY
