Great steaks; attentive service; ambiance a bit dated, and still in the grip of COVID-19 restrictions, so it needs renovation. Given the prices, surely it's doable?

Filet Grillspieß bestellt, bekommen habe ich etwas... aus verschiedenen Fleischsorten gebratenes, ohne Spieß, war auch kein Loch drin. Vom Fleisch her war es wohl beim Schweinefilet Kassler, die anderen Sorten konnte ich nicht erkennen. War aber ein Stück Rind und ein Stück Pute - denke ich... Ob jetzt hier wirklich Filet von besagten Fleisch dabei war... eher fraglich und das für den Preis. Alles Recht trocken. Es wurde bei der Bestellung auch nicht nach dem Gargrad der verschiedenen Fleischsorten gefragt. Pommes waren gut. Und die extra dazu bestellen Beilagen waren auch in Ordnung, schlagen aber auf den schon teuren Preis vom Hauptgericht essen drauf. Vielleicht hab ich ja das falsche essen gewählt und hätte eine Steak nehmen sollen. Wer weißt, selber testen...

Ordered fillet grill skewer, I got something made from different types of meat, without a skewer, and there wasn't a hole in it. In terms of meat, the pork fillet was probably Kassler, I couldn't recognize the other types. But it was a piece of beef and a piece of turkey - I think... Whether there was actually fillet of the meat in question... rather questionable and that for the price. Everything's pretty dry. When ordering, no questions were asked about the degree of doneness of the different types of meat. Fries were good. And the side dishes that were ordered separately were also okay, but added to the already expensive price of the main course. Maybe I chose the wrong food and should have had a steak. Who knows, test it yourself...

The staff is friendly, attentive and knows the dishes very well. You can tell that people work here with passion. The advice on choosing meat and the wine recommendation were excellent. Ambiance: Whether inside or outside – the Schanzer Steakhouse offers a cozy atmosphere. The furnishings are stylish and invite you to linger. The inner courtyard is particularly beautiful and is perfect for warm summer evenings. Drinks: In addition to a great selection of beers, there is also an excellent wine list with perfectly matched accompaniments to the steaks. Conclusion: If you want to enjoy a first-class steak in a cozy atmosphere in Ingolstadt, you've come to the right place! The food is always excellent. Best steak in town.

Absolute recommendation! The meat seems to be of high quality. The kitchen staff definitely knows what they are doing. My fillet steak was perfectly cooked and buttery soft, the lamb was very tender and tasty, the side dishes were also very good. The waitresses were very friendly. On weekends you should make a reservation in the evening as the restaurant is busy.

Classic steakhouse with no frills. The furnishings are a bit old, which detracts from the general atmosphere. But the food tastes definitely good. The map and the cuts offered are manageable but well done.

Was at the Schanzer Steakhouse for the first time yesterday (December 17th, 2024). We made a reservation (there were four of us) and were kindly brought to the table. We all chose the beef fillet and it was clearly the right decision. The fillet was very tasty and so were the side dishes! Waiting time for food is very short. Hello everyone. We were here for our company Christmas party. The selection of steaks is small, but the chef gets to the point with the selection (I had a ribeye). The wine with it was also very good. The service was great and you felt very comfortable. I would definitely come again.

The store is anything but inviting. The Buntic plate was ordered, which contained a fillet steak, a rump steak, 3 cevapcici and some potatoes. Unfortunately, price/performance doesn't fit here at all. Unfortunately, my fillet steak was "English" instead of medium as requested, and I expect more from a steakhouse. And we don't need to talk about the prices of the side dishes (French fries €6). Not recommended for me. There are better steakhouses in Ingolstadt

Nach halbjähriger Pause, beruflich in Ingolstadt, zog es mich direkt wieder ins Steakhaus. Meine Erinnerungen wurden übertroffen. Freundlicher Service, begrüßte mich freundlich, mit sichtbaren Wiedererkennen. Und er erinnerte sich, an meinen besonderen Getränkewunsch. Das Steak war auf den Punkt. Bratkartoffeln wie bei Muttern und der Salat knackig frisch. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis Fair und OK. Beim nächsten Besuch der Stadt, gerne wieder Schanzer-Steakhaus. Für mich auch ein Grund wiederzukommen.

Food was good, but far too little for the expensive price. Steak for 31 euros without a side dish or small salad. Only a small piece of garlic bread included. Had to order extra fries, where they charged 6 euros extra for a handful of fries without sauce . It's never happened to me that I left a restaurant hungry for 37 euros.

There were six of us and we had steaks and cevapcici as main courses. These tasted very good. But the steaks were extraordinarily expensive and side dishes cost extra, so it was at least 35 euros per person. The side salad was very "hearty", basically half a kilo of mayo slapped over sliced ​​iceberg lettuce. The starter plate for two was outrageous at 22 euros, but you weren't served much more than two slices of ham on melon, four breaded small pieces of cheese and a few slices of soggy baguette - everything tasted more like frozen food. The atmosphere in the restaurant was reasonably cozy, it's just old and everything is very tired. A new coat of paint and a more modern table decoration would be appropriate given the prices (a garden table with two folding chairs was added to a table for four for the six of us). The service was ok and quick, but not particularly friendly or motivated, you had to say loudly if you wanted something. All in all a good basic base as the main courses were very good. Given the prices, one would expect that everything around it would be more impressive. Since there is very little love in it, it was overall rather too expensive.

Have been eating here again for a long time. Service was very nice and the food was absolutely great!! Even if it's not exactly cheap, it's definitely worth a visit!

We stood in the entrance area for 5 minutes without being welcomed or escorted to the place because the service in the kitchen was going on with our cell phones. Drinks were only consumed after 15 minutes. Steak was ordered medium rare. Was served entirely in English. When asked, but then fried, the rest of the food was very good.

Not sure is one of the oldest restaurant in Ingolstadt, but it is definitely one of the best one! Amazing meat quality, and wonderful cooking skills in preparing the steak! Strongly recommend the fillet or T-bone if you have the appetite 😄❤️

Bestes Steak seit langem. Kein argentinisches Dry-aged Tamtam, sondern ehrliches, super zartes Filet vom bayrischen Jungbullen. Klasse - weiter so!

Leider war der Besuch am Sonntag den 20.05.23 um 19 Uhr eine Enttäuschung. Es war unser dritter Besuch der Lokalität und bisher war das Essen und der Service immer top. Zum Essen: Bestellt haben wir ein 300 g Rumpsteak, welches medium english gewünscht war, aber so ziemlich gut durch und auch ein wenig verbrannt ankam. Die Pommes als Beilage waren nicht gut durch. Außerdem Garnelen mit Pommes und Salat. Pommes ebenfalls nicht durch. Garnelen leider zu fettig gebraten. Der dazugehörige Salat hat gefehlt. Zur Bedienung: Der junge Mann war sehr nett und bemüht, auch wenn er ein bisschen verwirrt schien, total sympathisch und nett. Der Herr mit tätowierten Armen war nach seiner Nachfrage, ob das Essen geschmeckt habe, nicht wirklich daran interessiert unsere Meinung anzunehmen, sondern schnell abzukassieren. Auf Ketchup haben wir gut eine halbe Stunde gewartet, und auch erst nach mehrmaligem Nachfragen. Fazit: Ich hoffe es war nur ein schlechter Tag, denn für einen stolzen Preis darf man gutes Essen und guten Service erwarten. Ich vergebe gute 2 Sterne, weil das Essen und der Service bisher immer gut waren, aber gestern absolut katastrophal. Beste Grüße

Ein Vatertagsgeschenk unseres Sohnes. Beide bestellten wir Rib-eye-Steak. Das Steak des Sohnes war absolut in Ordnung; meines war auch gut, enthielt aber einige Flachsen, die den Genuss etwas einschränkten...

Das Schanzer Steakhouse ist genau der richtige Ort für Steak-Liebhaber wie mich! Die von kroatischen Gastgebern geführte Lokation bietet nicht nur fantastische Steaks, sondern auch eine herzliche Atmosphäre, perfekt für gesellige Abende mit Freunden. Die Qualität des Fleisches ist hervorragend, und Beilagen und der Rest sind ein Gaumenschmaus. Die Beilagen sind köstlich und die Weinauswahl ist beeindruckend. Der Service ist herzlich und zuvorkommend. Im SChanzer Steakhouse habe ich einen sehr entspannten Abend mit Freunden verbracht und werde ganz sicher wiederkommen. Ein absolutes Muss für Steak-Fans und Freunde, die gutes Essen und Gesellschaft schätzen! Es liegt relativ zentral in Ingolstadt, daher ist die Parksituation zu berücksichtigen. Aber ein Besuch ist absolut empfehlenswert.

Wir waren letzte Woche im Schanzer Steakhouse mittags zum Essen. Es gab eine Mittagskarte mit zahlreichen Angeboten. Das Essen war sehr lecker (bis auf das Kräuterbaguette). Die Bedienung war allgemein nicht ganz so herzlich und die Einrichtung ist auch nicht besonders einladend. Es ist schon sehr dunkel und rustikal eingerichtet. Für ein Mittagessen werden wir dennoch wiederkommen.

Spontane Entscheidung hier zum Essen zu gehen. Super nette Begrüßung und Top-Service! Umfangreiche Karte, da sollte für jeden was dabei sein. Das Steak und die kroatische Spezialität waren einsame Spitze! Das Knoblauchbaguette war ebenfalls exzellent! Preis-Leistung stimmen hier! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!!

Nach zahlreichen früheren Besuchen in der Vergangenheit erlebte ich dieses Mal eine sehr herbe Enttäuschung. Das Fleisch des Grilltellers war nicht nur "durchwachsen", sondern zäh, sodass ich es nach dem ersten Bissen beiseite schob. Die Cevapcici waren trocken. Der Service (junger Mann) war völlig unmotiviert und arbeitet sichtbar nicht gern. Nach jahrelangen guten Erfahrungen ein totaler Reinfall. Man sollte sich wieder etwas anstrengen.

Typisk tysk gasthaus med tunge møbler, mørke vægge og ganske solid tysk mad. <lidt vanskelihed med at fange tjeneren, men det var en travl aften. Til gengæld solidt måltid med rigelig portion og godt i den traditionelle stil.

Essen sehr lecker, leider ist der Service unmotiviert,unfreundlich und nicht besonders aufmerksam. Wer so viel Geld bezahlt, kann auch eine entsprechende Bewirtung erwarten.

Ich gebe hier zwei Punkte weil ich mit dem Essen sehr zufrieden war. Jedoch hat an diesem Tag das Servicepersonal wirklich alles getan um nicht gut in Erinnerung zu bleiben. Über die Art und Weise wie lustlos man Speisen und Getränke aufgenommen und serviert hat, hätte man noch drüber wegsehen können - aber den Abend zerstört haben die Ignoranz beim Nachschub der Getränke (wir waren früh da und es haben sich zu dieser Zeit höchstens noch 4 andere Kunden im Lokal aufgehalten) sowie der abschließende Bezahlvorgang. Ich möchte im Detail nicht öffentlich darauf eingehen - nur soviel, seinen Ärger sollte man nicht so unprofessionell und offensichtlich zum Ausdruck bringen. Inneneinrichtung ist ok - eine geplante Modernisierung wäre jedoch keine schlechte Entscheidung.

Wie immer ein absoluter Genuss. Beste Qualität und freundlicher Service. Das Fleisch kommt auf den Punkt.

Food was good, my boyfriend had a T-bone steak, it was really nice, I stole a piece hehe. I had snitzel, that was good too. The staff is polite. Was this the most amazing dinner of my life? No, but it was a nice meal and it's worth checking out.

Eigentlich wollte ich mein Steak medium-englisch, da ich dieses Restaurant aber zum ersten Mal besuchte, bestellte ich dann vorsichtshalber doch lieber medium und das war auch besser so, denn das Steak war fast bleu. Die Fleischqualität, obwohl zart, weiß ich nicht so richtig zu bewerten, da das Steak beim Schneiden doch außergewöhnlich viel Saft verlor. Das Lokal hat ein urtümliches Ambient und war voll besetzt. Der Service war eher unpersönlich.

Die Bedienung ist echt eher nicht vorhanden, man bekommt nicht mal ein "Hallo" wenn man rein geht, sondern wird schweigend zum Tisch gebracht. Als wir mit essen und trinken fertig waren, kam gut 10 Minuten keiner um zu fragen ob man noch was möchte oder bezahlen will, obwohl der Inhaber (der auch abrechnet) mehrmals an uns vorbei gelaufen ist. Haben dann selbst gefragt. Bis die Rechnung kam, dauerte es noch 10 Minuten. Die Atmosphäre ist eher rustikal und alt, widerspricht die Preise. Das Fleisch ist aber m-e-g-a lecker und auf Punkt richtig gegart, da kann man nichts sagen. Preis-Leistung von Fleisch ist top, der Rest ist viel zu teuer (zB. keine Vorspeise unter 9 €).

Ihr müsst hier unbedingt vorher reservieren, vorallem im November/Dezember und am Wochenende! Es ist immer voll besetzt. Geführt wird es...
