Loft’s Bar Bistro Steakhaus in Ingolstadt

Incredibly expensive; even Munich is cheaper. The quality and flavor of the meat left a lot to be desired considering the price. The cooking levels were poor and had been mixed up, which we only noticed later. The menu is too vague; the included side dishes weren't mentioned, so we ordered them separately, paid extra, and ended up with too much. Garlic bread would have been better than the garlic baguettes we got. That doesn't go well with a steak. The fries were very tasty, though, but without any sauce. The waiters spoke very unclear and poor German. The ambiance could be improved, especially the ceiling.

I recently visited Lofts and, despite the seemingly strained friendliness, I can't give it a high rating. There are essentially three main issues. 1. Hygiene. Cobwebs with spiders attached were hanging from the lamps and ceiling. The table was sticky. Fresh glasses had a slight odor. 2. Service professionalism. Friendly, but unprofessional and often disruptive. Food and drinks were mixed up, and when the dishes were being served and cleared, I felt afraid of being touched or having something dropped. 3. Value for money. Ribeye steak. €68. Herb butter was promised, and olive oil was brought. The steak had a very high fat content and some bone fragments. The cooking was satisfactory. The creative decor was unimaginative. In summary: There was no sign of care or attention to detail. And that's the main reason I go out to eat.

Maybe it tastes good, I'll never know. We left after waiting 1.5 hours for burgers and fries, after the table next to us received their order, which was placed 45 minutes later.

I recently visited this restaurant in Ingolstadt and I'm absolutely thrilled! The decor is beautiful and creates a cozy atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and attentive—you immediately feel at home. The steak was simply fantastic—succulent, perfectly prepared, and delicious! For me, this restaurant is clearly one of the top 3 in Ingolstadt. I'll definitely be back! 🥩✨

After several visits in recent years – both private and business – I've unfortunately found that the service and food quality are inconsistent. The only constant is the excellent beef tartare. The burger was once very good, but last time it was quite dry. Probably finished too early and kept warm. At least I got a shot of schnapps on the house after complaining. I haven't tried the steak yet because of these experiences and various reviews about poorly cooked food; I have my regular restaurant on Kupferstrasse for that. Service is similarly inconsistent – ​​sometimes passable, sometimes overwhelmed and inattentive. Overall, the price (burger with fries >€20) is not commensurate with the quality. A shame!

Three of us were at Loft's Bar Bistro Steakhouse on a Thursday evening, with a table reserved for 8 p.m. Unfortunately, the evening was anything but relaxing. The server was very hectic from the start – as soon as we were seated, we were immediately rushed to order drinks, without time to calmly look at the menu. A little later, we were rushed to order our main courses, even though we had just ordered drinks. So, we only had the appetizers first. Individual requests were apparently not welcome: My friend wanted her salad without dressing – according to the server, "not possible," the dressing was delicious, and "there wasn't much on it." In the end, the salad was practically swimming in dressing. The question remains: How can you not order a salad without dressing when it's actually only added shortly before serving? There was no flexibility with the side dishes either: Fried potatoes? They don't exist. Only rosemary potatoes – and you were supposed to just take them. There was practically pressure to order quickly. The appetizers were tasty and beautifully presented. But they had barely been on the table for five minutes when the main course arrived – an absolute no-go for us in a restaurant. The waiter even asked if he could clear the appetizers already – we were only halfway through eating them at that point. What was supposed to be a pleasant evening was over after 45 minutes because everything was rushed through far too quickly. We wanted to order dessert and asked for the menu. After we had chosen our dishes and the menus were lying closed on the table, we waited – in vain. Several waiters walked by, no one stopped, no one asked. We then decided not to have dessert and left the restaurant disappointed. It's a shame – the place looks good, and the food has potential. But the service was a bitter disappointment for us. We felt like we were in a fast-food restaurant, where the name says it all. That's not how you treat guests.

Great steakhouse, high prices but also excellent quality. If you have the money, you should definitely eat there.

The atmosphere was great and beautifully decorated. The only annoying thing were the benches, which were very annoying for a short person to sit on. Service was okay. We were called over from 3 meters away if we wanted something to drink while we were still chewing, and when we came in, we were asked straight away after 2 minutes at the table what we wanted. We couldn't even read the menu quickly, and it was generally very tiring. Food was okay. I had a steak, which was good in itself, but I found it tasted very similar to a cheap discount steak that you grill on a summer evening. I was very disappointed and didn't finish it. The spare ribs were good, just very fatty. So, overall, it wasn't that good.

I ordered a steak rare medium and received a dry, almost cooked steak. So I wouldn't recommend it.

Very attentive service, great appetizers and burgers. Parking suddenly becomes chargeable, but is advertised as free with license plates. This is inconvenient and seems very petty. Hence, one point deducted.

I had spare ribs, which are available as an all-you-can-eat option on Mondays. The spare ribs and side dishes were excellent. The service was, as always, very attentive. The ambiance, especially inside, is very pleasant. We had an all-around successful evening.

Unfortunately, the steak was too cold and very stringy. The burger was delicious. I would also recommend the pimentos.

Unfortunately, it was a real disappointment. The ambiance wasn't bad, but the meat had far too much fat. When we asked the waiter about it, he simply replied that we'd have to order a fillet. We didn't offer any further apologies, let alone an espresso on the house (and that was on a bill of more than €200).

I'm just leaving the restaurant now and have to write this review. The ambiance in the restaurant is really nice – stylishly decorated with comfortable seating, although the seating is a bit too low when eating, which is a bit inconvenient. The service was generally quick: The waiter came promptly to take our drink and food orders. Unfortunately, there were a few misunderstandings, but it was manageable. The steaks were a bit disappointing: We both ordered "medium rare," but they were served more like "medium" to "medium well." When I asked, the waiter confirmed that he understood "medium rare," but said that was how it was served – and thus quickly brushed us off instead of accommodating us in any way. Because I'm against food waste, I ate my steak, but it wasn't what I'd hoped for. When it was time to pay, a female waitress came over and asked if everything was okay. I explained my request. She handled it professionally, and at least she gave me a free shot. Still, I'm not leaving the restaurant happy. One minor point: The service staff's clothing could be a bit more stylish or appropriate – but that's more of a personal impression and really a high-level criticism. Conclusion: A nice restaurant with potential, but the execution – especially in terms of service communication and meat quality – definitely needs to be improved if you want to consistently impress in this price range.

I went for dinner with five friends last week. The online reservation worked well, and the ambiance was nice—although very loud and noisy. What bothered us, however, was that we waited over an hour for our food, and one of our orders was completely forgotten. My "large" salad with beef strips for €22 was anything but large. Nothing wrong with the taste, and the beef was also grilled medium, but for a salad in that price range, there was definitely too little on the plate—basically a side salad. It was also annoying that the head waiter and waiter were arguing in front of the guests. Most of the time, the waiter didn't know which table to bring the food to and wandered around the restaurant. When clearing the plates, not once was anyone asked how they tasted or if everything was okay. Let alone if anyone would like something else to drink. Overall, I think that if a restaurant offers food at these prices, the service and everything else must be top-notch. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Very disappointing. That was our last visit to the Lofts.

It's a bit of a shame that the prawns in my Surf & Turf are more reminiscent of frozen supermarket skewers, which is a bit disappointing given the price - hence a small deduction, but otherwise the taste is convincing!

I just had the spare ribs delivered to me at this restaurant for the first time and I have to say they are the best🙏🙏🙏 that I have ever eaten. The meat is cooked so tender that it falls off the bone. Good portions, the two of us ate our fill on one portion. The barbecue sauce is also a dream 😋😋😋 The baked potato went perfectly with it 🥔 I will definitely order again or eat in the restaurant when I get the chance 🍽️🍽️

Essen war sehr gut, auch wenn das Steakhaus sehr voll war. Hier erst mal ein Lob an die Küche. Jetzt kommt das aber: Wenn man als Gruppe reserviert und ein Stuhl am Tisch fehlt sollte sich die Bedienung ( Serviceleiter) und nicht der Gast um den zusätzlichen Stuhl kümmern. Des weiteren konnte man die Unhöflichkeit oder besser gesagt die genervte Art und Weise des Serviceleiter fast nicht ertragen. Sehr herablassend und auch seinen jüngeren Mitarbeitern gegenüber. Man konnte den gesamten Abend beim Essen gut beobachten wie unfreundlich er seinen eigenen Kollegen gegenüber war und das ist ein sehr unverschämtes Verhalten. Die jüngeren Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und gut in der Bedienung. Auch die beiden bekommen hier an der Stelle ein großes Lob. Dem Serviceleiter hingegen empfehle ich mal in sich zu gehen und über seine Art und Weise wie man mit Gästen und Personal umgeht, nachzudenken.

The ribs were too soft for me, but overall they were ok. But for a restaurant of this category, I expect the staff to take care of you even after your meal and not let you sit down. No repeat factor.

Unfortunately, cold food does not meet the expectations of a restaurant in this price range.

The steak was okay but the service was subpar. After the meal, no one came for more drinks or dessert, despite repeated signs and even though the shop was half empty. After 40 minutes we left.

As many others have mentioned, the service is really not good. For me, dessert is very important. I would almost say I'm a dessert expert. Unfortunately I can't rate the dessert here because I wasn't served after dinner. On the one hand, that's a shame for me because I would have liked to have dessert. On the other hand, an expert's opinion is now missing. In addition, the coleslaw was far too sour and, to be honest, tasted a bit like store-bought.

Disappointment at the Christmas party We wanted to celebrate our Christmas party here today with 15 people. When we arrived we were told it was closed today and our reservation had been cancelled. Supposedly we would have canceled ourselves, but that wasn't the case. Apparently the restaurant rescheduled and forgot to inform us. No solutions were offered. Very annoying.

I wanted to celebrate my birthday with my family and we were all looking forward to a nice evening. The fact that we had to wait 10 minutes for the table wasn't really a problem. Drinks arrived quickly and the service was very attentive. When the food came after 30 minutes, the herb baguette was burnt at the corners and all 10 pieces at the table were cold. The well-done rib eye was pretty burnt. That can happen. But the waitress's comment was. It's not burnt, it looks like that when it comes off the grill. Don't get me wrong. I grill at home once a week. Well done (inside) does not mean burned outside. I expect something different from a Steckhaus and if the steak costs 40 EUR I also expect a different reaction from the service staff. Don't even talk about coleslaw from the bucket. I've never experienced it in a steakhouse. The ambience is actually very nice. But due to the number of people it is very loud. From 8:30 p.m. onwards, additional music was played, which led to everyone speaking against the music. My flesh has been going back for 30 minutes now... the new one isn't in sight yet... it's probably not black yet... After 35 minutes, unburnt meat and warm baguette arrived. So it seems to be working after all...

Today was reserved for 7 people, if the weather was nice outside, if it was bad inside, then we come and it was great weather and it was set for inside... Okay then set up outside. -Then extra herb bitters were ordered with the steak, which didn't come -then espresso was ordered, the outside of the cup was full of coffee grounds and the bottom of the inside too -on the first two wheat, both glasses dirty -and last but not least: For half an hour no one came to ask if we wanted something to drink, all the glasses were empty.

The three of us had a very pleasant place where we were served by the very friendly and attentive boss. The food was really delicious and absolutely sufficient, and additional orders came very quickly. You can have excellent and good food here, even if it's not cheap.

The restaurant is very comfortably furnished and appears upscale. The waiters seemed very inexperienced and overwhelmed to me. This may be due to the older age. I ordered a steak medium and got it. After I asked the waiter about it, his reaction was "come into the kitchen and you'll see that it's medium rare." I didn't understand what he wanted from me at first. After a brief confusion and lack of clarity, I asked him what the connection was. He replied that the light in the kitchen was different and in the summer, especially when you sit outside, customers often complain that the meat is done. I have never heard such an absurd and senseless statement/explanation. The discussion was too stupid for me and didn't lead anywhere. To top it off, they wanted to charge us for a side dish that we didn't order. After inquiring about the dishes that were charged, the waiter said he hadn't charged us for the fries. However, the side dish we didn't order was about 50% more expensive than the fries we ordered. After asking for it to be billed correctly, the waiter was visibly annoyed and overwhelmed. First and last time!!

Es ist kaum etwas verstanden oder umgesetzt worden, Sachen vergessen…keine Einsicht. Und die Preise ziemlich stramm. Cocktails wurden irgendwie gemixt, selbst allergene Zutaten waren nicht angegeben, aber drin. Schade, denn die Küche war hervorragend und eine tolle Qualität und Komposition an Gerichten. Lecker wars total!

Ein wirklich schönes Lokal mit gemütlichen Ambiente und die Sitzmöglichkeiten laden zum verweilen ein. Man wird gebettet wie auf einer Wolke ☺️ nicht so schön das die Tische zu hoch oder die Stühle zu niedrig sind. Der Service war top. Immer zur Stelle nicht aufdringlich aber präsent. Vorspeise war gut und es wurde knuspriges Baguette dazu gereicht. Geschmacklich gut gewürzt und man schmeckte die leichte süße dazu. Das Steak war leider nicht so gut - bisschen zäh - auch trotz Medium. Das Grillgemüse bissfest aber leicht überwürzt und sehr ölig. Würde es aber nochmal versuchen …

Eines der besten Lokale in Ingolstadt. Ich bin ein großer Fan der Spareribs und muss sagen ich habe noch nirgendwo bessere gegessen. Generell war die Qualität der Speisen und Getränke hoch (Dickes Plus es gibt Tegernseer Helles vom Fass, hier in der Region eine Seltenheit da es i.d.R. sonst nur Nord- oder Herrnbräu gibt). Das Ambiente ist auch sehr gelungen und hochwertig. Das Personal ist schnell und freundlich. Nur das man zum Zahlen mit Karte nach vorne komme muss ist etwas komisch. So steht der Reihe nach ein Tisch auf um mit Karte zu zahlen. (Barzahlung geht auch am Tisch).

Preis/Leistung leider sehr schlecht. Portionen sind wirklich klein aber Preise hoch. Ambiente ist schick. Aber essen hat geschmeckt. Würde trotzdem kein zweites Mal hierher kommen.

Essen war sehr gut, muss es bei den Preisen aber auch sein. Service war schnell und höflich.

Mit meiner Frau hier zum ersten Mal gewesen, für mich war es sogar das erste Mal in einem Restaurant dieser Art, ich war zuvor noch in keinem Steakhaus. Der Service korrekt, schnell und aufmerksam. Meine Frau hatte die Filetspitzen in Pfeffersauce, ich den Grill Mix Paradise mit Süßkartoffelfries und Chili-Cheese-Sauce. Und es bleibt nur zu sagen: Fleisch können sie! Das Lamm on point, ebenso das Hühnchen und das Filet. Aber der Wahnsinn waren diese unwahrscheinlich zarten Spareribs. Nun stehe ich selbst gerne an Grill und Smoker, aber so leckere Ribs hab ich noch nicht zubereitet, geschweige denn gegessen. Als Nachspeise hatte meine Frau den American Cheesecake, der ein wahres Gedicht war, sowohl von Anrichten mit dem Schokoladensorbet als auch die Früchte und der Fruchtspiegel. Ich wählte das Schokoladensouflet, das wider Erwarten nicht im Förmchen kam, sondern auf Mangopüree und mit Vanillesorbet in Haselnusssplittern als Beigabe. Absolut fantastisch, wie zu erwarten ein echter und bleibender Einschlag in mein "Schokoladenzentrum". Einziger, kleiner Kritikpunkt meinerseits: auf der Karte im Internet hatte ich mich gefreut, dass dort Herrnbräu-Weizen ausgeschenkt werden würde, tatsächlich allerdings kam das von der Brauerei Guttmann, deren Weizen mir leider gar nicht schmeckt. Das ist allerdings mein persönliches "Problem" und beeinflusst meine Meinung und Bewertung in keiner Weise, dies soll nur als Anmerkung dienen. Vielen Dank an das Loft's für einen wunderschönen Abend mit Essen der Spitzenklasse! Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen!
