Spontaneous arrival near Schanzenbach. Food and service really good. Price was also right for a snack. However, there is a deduction for the ambience. Tables outside were dirty and not cleaned. I think regularly wiping it with a rag doesn't do any harm and it increases the ambience

Freshly prepared, hot and delicious as always! And today again very courteous, friendly and helpful staff! The only thing that needs to be reconsidered is the lighting of some tables. The large hanging lights create very unsightly shadows on the table and the food thanks to the ceiling spotlights installed above them.

Update, I ate here again after years because I was persuaded. Food was hard, see photos, schnitzel wasn't cooked properly, the saleswoman wasn't friendly at all. Another customer had also complained and she wasn't exactly friendly to him either. You could also see among each other that the working atmosphere doesn't have to be great. -French fries hard and partly black -The schnitzel wasn't cooked properly, and it definitely wasn't quality meat either - Mayonnaise was good. Pictures speak louder than words. Only the mayonnaise is delicious.

The whole snack bar just stank of old grease, the ventilation system was switched off. Staff completely unfriendly Chickens were left half-cooked to be sold the next day, according to the staff. Although it's only 8:10 p.m Was. This is not a snack but a health trap.

I just ate the Försterrahhmschnitzel with fries, it was super delicious and on offer throughout February.

Best snack bar in town. The homemade curry sauce is simply amazing, I have never had a better curry sausage. But I can also warmly recommend other dishes such as hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken or schnitzel. For those who don't know Schanzenbach yet and also for everyone outside of it, a visit (regardless of which part of the city) is always worth it.

I have no idea what everyone thinks about currywurst here. In my opinion, the so-called homemade sauce tastes like warmed-up commercial ketchup with a little curry powder on top. This is what I currently ate at the stand at the Christmas market. There were also fries at the lower end of average. Pale yellow unseasoned thin potato sticks.

Solid 4 star rating. Overall, the food was good and the quality was good. If you don't feel like cooking, this store is definitely a good option to consider. The selection is diverse and there is something for every taste. The service was friendly, although the waiting times could have been a little shorter. Not an absolute highlight, but solid and reliable. For a relaxed evening where you don't want to put yourself behind the stove, the store is definitely perfect!

On the way to the Ragers Elite Festival in the Radbod Cultural Center, I quickly fortified myself with a paprika cream schnitzel and cucumber salad at Schanzenbach. The staff was extremely friendly and refreshingly in a good mood. In a few minutes the food was on the table in front of me. The schnitzel was good, the breading was very crispy. The sauce could hardly be better, the salad was wonderfully creamy. Only the outdated seating could use some refurbishment. Whatever: if I come to Hamm again, I will definitely stop off at Schanzenbach.

Unfortunately I was disappointed again today by Schanzenbach on Hammerstrasse. When I entered the store around 9:20 p.m. and wanted to order 4 burgers, and other certain things. I was rudely informed that they only serve currywurst and fries! And wouldn't make burgers anymore. Maybe you should just declare if there are only fries and currywurst available at a certain time, so you can save yourself the trip there! Or simply change the opening times if you don't want to sell any food at certain times! In this case, we unfortunately had to avoid it and look for another location! Unfortunately, this isn't the first time this has happened, it's happened several times! In this case, unfortunately, I have to write a review.

The food was prepared very quickly and the service was very friendly. The taste of the burger was good, but it lacked a bit of a personal touch.

I've been buying from Schanzenbach for decades because I've always enjoyed it there. During my last purchase, the male salesperson simply made it clear to me that it was no longer desirable for a customer to have fries and currywurst on two different bowls. He then reluctantly packed both of them into two different packages, which opened again on the counter. When I pointed this out, he hugged the whole thing together again and put it back in front of me. No question about whether I would like a bag or something similar... When I got home (less than 5 minutes until the food was on the table), the fries (in the bowl that was too empty in my opinion) were almost cold There was no poker in it, just like in the package with the sausage. There was also a poker missing here and the 1/2 roll has now been dispensed with. In relation to the fact that this portion now costs €6.90, the staff is getting worse and worse and, in my opinion, a portion that is too small. Since this is the second time I'm writing this here, otherwise nothing changes anyway. I would be happy if those responsible would also get in touch about this.

The food is solid for the price, the selection offers something for everyone without being too much. But it is and remains a snack bar, so not the greatest quality, but also cheap prices.

A “veteran” here in Hamm. The chicken is still available here fresh from the grill. I used to get food here when I was a child... and that was a really long time ago. I still enjoy going here, especially when I'm hungry for half a rooster.

I don't know how you can call something like that shashlick, it's just any meat that isn't even properly seasoned or properly prepared. The crowning glory was that they put ketchup on it, it's just disgusting and this currywurst originally consisted of ketchup and a little yellow powder. I'm speechless something like that doesn't work at all.

Disgusting!!!!!! It's been a long time since I've been there with hope, but I've been disappointed again. Fries greasy and no taste, currywurst half raw and the curry sauce only with coloring... And then what's awesome, the price... just outrageous. That was the last time, then I'd rather drive a little further.

Just wanted to order the Crunchy Cheese Burger with fries. My wife asked if you could also order the burger that way, not on the menu, but only with fries without a drink. The visibly annoyed, slightly fuller employee immediately said no. She could also have said that it's a special promotion and that's why it's only available in the menu or could have said with a wink that it still costs 9.90 or or or. She could have resolved the situation in a very friendly and easy way. Instead, she unfortunately decided to use her body language and her short, unfriendly answer to tell us through the flower that she actually doesn't mind such questions and wants us to leave. We did that too.
